This review is a long time coming. We had Zha Zha as our photographer for our wedding back in 2021. She was fantastic! She was incredibly easy to work with and made dealing with our wedding in the middle of the pandemic so much better. She knew exactly how to pose us, what angles looked good, best lighting, etc and both our engagement photos and wedding day photos came out beautiful. We’ll always cherish the photos that Zha Zha took for us and cannot thank her enough! Additionally, she’s such a joy to be around. She’s funny, sweet, and friendly. She also has a dog, Waffles! We didn’t get to meet Waffles, but he seems to be the goodest boy, and this in turn makes Zha Zha really good with pets as well. We brought our doggo, Toby to our engagement shoot and she was great with him. Definitely recommend Zha Zha with confidence to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer. She’s the best, seriously!

I've been a long time admirer of Zha Zha's work and recently fortunate enough to have her capture the memories of my wedding day. Only a few days have past since our city hall elopement but I'm just too excited to wait to tell everyone about how wonderful Zha Zha is. To start, Zha Zha is more than a wedding photographer. She is an industry expert. Her experience and years in the wedding business have led her to become a very knowledgeable source of information. From the moment we connected about my wedding, she immediately and freely offered advice and recommendations regarding all things things wedding. As someone who knew nothing about where or who you go to, her opinion was invaluable. She referred me to my makeup artist and my florist who both knocked it out of the park. She also suggested things like getting to city hall early at 8 am to avoid crowds and get unencumbered photos. I am so so so enthusiastically happy that I had her sage advice to follow. Because let me tell you, she was right about all of it and my sneak peeks show it! Now that I've gushed about how great she is at all things not photos. I'm going to deep dive into how incredibly talented she is at what you're actually hiring her for, THE photography of your lifetime. Zha Zha is a master of her profession. She has photography in her blood and has a degree in design (so you know she has a good eye). On top of the technical qualification, she truly cares about her couples and capturing lasting memories for them. My husband and I felt so comfortable with her. We are not people who take pictures of ourselves normally, so we can feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. We didn't feel this way with Zha Zha as our photographer though. Her sweet and kind demeanor really helped us forget any camera shyness. We felt like were on a lovely guided tour of San Francisco City Hall with a friend. She took us to all the best spots for photos and gave us natural cues that I just know are going to lead to the best photos ever. She was thoughtful enough to send a few sneak peeks over the next day to help tide us over while we patiently wait for the magical album. With all of our heart, thank you so much for capturing our wedding day Zha Zha. It was truly the most special day because of you.

From the moment we found Zha Zha Photography's Instragram account, my husband and I knew we absolutely had to have her as our wedding photographer! Luckily, Zha Zha was available for our Thursday wedding and we couldn't have been more thrilled. From our first phone conversation to wedding day, Zha Zha was professional, kind, and outgoing and made my husband and I feel very comfortable-considering we are both not photogenic people! Our photos are breathtaking and timeless. Zha Zha's style is classic and timeless, which is exactly what we wanted. We're so grateful for her and her work. We'll have these photos to cherish for the rest of our lives.

I cannot put into words how wonderful Zha Zha was at our engagement shoot & wedding. I had the pleasure of knowing Zha Zha for a few years prior to my wedding and fell in love with her photography the minute I saw it. Once I found the man of my dreams, I didn’t have to look far for the dreamiest photographer. She was the top choice from day one. Her attention to detail, creativity and attentiveness was the perfect match for us. Not to mention, the oh so talented, Winson, her second shooter for the day, was such a compliment to her skills & personality. Not only is she so talented behind the lease, but her calming energy is what every bride dreams of on a day that can be very chaotic. Her willingness to try new things, get low for the perfect shot and bear any weather element for us (very cold salt flats for our engagement shoot) was SO appreciated! I repeat, You WILL NOT regret booking Zha Zha and you will gain the kindest friend for life in the process!!

I am so happy that I decided to hire Zha Zha for my wedding. She was extremely professional and knew exactly how to handle a crazy Chinese family during a tea ceremony. While all of my relatives were screaming and shouting like headless chicken, Zha Zha stayed calm and directed people for photographs and what appreciated most about her is that she took the time to fix / position people for photos. She did an quick turn around for sneak peeks within 24 hours of my wedding and I was stunned about how beautiful my photos turned out. Zha Zha has the unique ability to make people feel comfortable when a camera is pointed at them and she also is great with pets! I highly recommend her for anyone who wants to have flawless photos taken on their special day that they can keep for the rest of their lives.

Zha Zha is an absolutely treasure Since our first call with her, she's been a dream to work with! My husband and I never took professional photos before, so we were worried that we would look awkward or unnatural in front of the camera. But Zha Zha truly helped us ease our nerves and provided us with A++ direction!! I was so impressed by her level of detail in even directing where my fingers would go but that kind of care really showed in her photos! We absolutely loved them. I was also impressed by her ability in directing large groups. My husband and I wanted to have multiple group photos at our wedding with our friends and family, and she really helped to ensure that everything ran smoothly and that everyone stayed in frame. What an absolute GEM. Zha Zha’s natural warmth and thoughtfulness as a person really shines through in her profession as a long time, skilled photographer. I was floored when I saw how gorgeous our Yosemite photos turned out (actually my now husband and I had tears rolling down our faces) because we were so touched by how much sentiment was caught on camera. Zha Zha made us feel comfortable and helped us through some natural poses to really capture the moment. Not only does she give just the right amount of guidance, she is also acutely aware of the best lighting and timing as she works her magic, so definitely follow her lead! I also can’t go without saying how incredibly organized and easy to work with she is as far as coordinating shoots. I’ve worked with other photographers in the past and none could compare. If you can get Zha Zha on the books, I’m certain you’ll want to keep coming back. Love her!!

OMFG!!! Being a photographer myself I don't like writing reviews, but after viewing my engagement and wedding photos I had to say something to promote Zha Zha's phenomenal skills. My wedding photos just blew my socks off and went through my neighbor's wall and knocked them unconscious! Wow! I have to say, I am absolutely blown away by how preciously she captured one of our most important days. These photos will not only be shared among our families, but will continue to live on to be shared among our future children and grandchildren to show how beautiful our wedding was. Thank you so much for capturing the essence of our wedding. Our hearts are overflowing with such joy and tears of happiness. ❤️❤️❤️ Not only is Zha Zha a skillful photographer, but a truly humble and kind hearted human being. She went above and beyond what a photographer's duties are from helping pin my boutonniere multiple times, working with the myriad of personalities at our wedding, and capturing our precious elderly dog in the process. Words cannot describe how thankful we are to have had Zha Zha as our wedding photographer! We were so impressed by how incredibly detail-oriented and experienced Zha Zha is not only in her craft as a photographer but the wedding industry, as well. On our wedding day, we felt as if she acted as multiple vendors in one: she collaborated with our Day of Coordinator to make sure we stayed on schedule, she helped to fix my bridal bouquet in-between photos, and she assisted in re-pinning my hair when I took my veil off during the reception. These are only a few examples of the many tasks she did that day, but we really appreciated that she took notice of all these small details! We also greatly appreciated how skillfully she was able to adjust to unforeseen circumstances. Our ceremony had run longer than expected, and we had run out of time to take many of the family photos that we had planned for. Zha Zha helped us not only to adjust our schedule so that we had time to take photos with our guests at cocktail hour but put us at ease when we stressed over the matter. In regard to her photography, she is so meticulous in her work. From reminding guests to take the hair tie off their wrist, to holding their purses for them while they took photos with us, to adjusting my dress, to hiding water spills on the bridesmaid dresses, she pays so much attention to every little detail. Not only this, but she was such a pleasure to work with and made us all feel comfortable while being photographed. We were so pleasantly surprised to get a sneak peak of our photos shortly after the wedding, and we love the timeless, elegant look that she was able to create. It was truly such an honor and a blessing to have Zha Zha capture our wedding day, and we would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a photographer! On a side note, she also took our engagement photos and did an incredible job! We loved how she was quickly able to adjust to the weather changes and the fog quickly rolling in during golden hour. She was also so sweet and fun to get to know as we carpooled for the hour-long ride up to our engagement site! Thank you Zha Zha for capturing these special moments for us so beautifully! Zha Zha is amazing! From the first moment of contact, she is sweet, caring, and knowledgeable. She is there not only to capture the moments you know you want but also the ones that you didn't know you wanted. I first fell in love with Zha Zha through her instagram and was in doubt that we would be able to work with her for our wedding. However, since we were planning early, we were able to snag a date together! Her pricing was a little on the higher side, but her work is well worth it. Have you seen her photos? Remember it's not just the photos you're paying for. We, like many, had to deal with this little thing called COVID-19 in the midst of our wedding date... we had reschedule after reschedule.. after reschedule and Zha Zha was there at each step with support and encouragement. She lent an ear whenever we needed, advice when asked for, and helpful information even when we didn't know we needed it. She ended up doing THREE different events with us! And our photos from each depict a different story and series of events. One thing to keep in mind when you're looking for the right photographer is you need someone who is going to vibe with you - to make you feel comfortable when you're not - and to make you feel beautiful even when you're feeling like a mess. Zha Zha does this and makes it come through even more than you expect in the final photos. At least have a chat with her, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at our City Hall and Zha Zha was there to capture all of our special moments. We secured the ceremony date super last minute which made everything feel chaotic at the time, but Zha Zha helped me keep my sanity up until the very day. She is such a sweet person who is great at giving directions when taking pictures and knows how to have fun. This was super key for us in order to not feel/appear awkward. We, including our friends and family, all love how the pictures came out. Thank you for capturing our forever memories Zha Zha! We highly recommend <3

I highly recommend and I absolutely love Zha Zha! Our very first photo session was for our engagement photos and she nailed it! My husband and I are not used to getting our photos taken but Zha Zha made us feel very comfortable by directing us with different poses. She is super sweet and very easy to work with and we were confident that she was going to do an amazing job for our wedding, which she did! She nailed it and we LOVE our wedding photos. She will forever be our go-to for all our photo needs. She’s already done our baby’s 100th day photos and just recently a mini holiday photo shoot. Every experience with Zha Zha is always a treat. She’s always on time, she gives great advise on locations, outfits, poses, time of day for best lighting, and moreeee. I’m very confident in her taste and trust her fully.

Zha Zha was amazing! We loved working with her on our wedding day. She was so sweet and took the time to get to know us. Our pictures were truly stunning. She clearly had awareness on how to capture the light and maximize natural lighting - so many of our pictures had a beautiful natural glow to them. This review is LONG overdue! My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Zha Zha in September 2019 and we could not be happier with how our engagement and wedding photos came out! I am so awkward when it comes to having photos taken especially when I am the center of attention, but Zha Zha made me feel completely comfortable during our engagement shoot and wedding day. She is very accessible and great with communication (via text, email, or phone). She pays very close attention to all the details, directs us how to pose, where to put our hands, where to turn out head, where to look, everything. She also works very well with our vendors on our wedding day as well. The photos came back in a very timely manner and we absolutely love them! We are so happy to have worked with Zha Zha and cannot recommend her enough for all ours (and hopefully yours) photography needs!

Zha Zha is an incredible photographer and my husband and I would recommend her to everyone. She is truly talented and technical in her art. We were married in 113 degrees in Napa Valley during the pandemic and despite her not having additional photographers to help her, no wedding coordinator, and the heat, she still delivered amazing photos and put in 110% effort. Zha Zha is also talented in many other areas, such as project management and wedding coordination too! She stepped in to help us coordinate on the wedding day. She also works extremely well with other vendors (e.g. florist, videographer). Many months after the wedding, Zha Zha still continued to work with us to build our wedding album, edit photos, and patiently answered our questions. We are so fortunate to have found Zha Zha Photography. On another note, we also used Zha Zha for our engagement shoot and needless to say, the photos were beautiful! Zha Zha is also friendly and easy going and does her best to make you feel comfortable during the photo shoots. I would highly recommend Zha Zha if you're looking for a photographer for your engagement shoots or wedding (or any photoshoot)! Zha Zha was so amazing to work with! We found her through our friends who used her for her wedding and fell in love with her beautiful work. My fiancé really wanted to have a photographer at our engagement party which I originally thought was overkill but I am so happy we had Zha Zha there! We didn’t give her any direction at all, we just wanted her to capture the party and guests and she captured every detail so beautifully. She got great pictures of the decor and amazing candid shots of us and our guests throughout the event. Most importantly she really did an incredible job with pictures of my fiancé and I with our families. She gave amazing direction of how to pose, how to walk, how to stand etc she really has a beautiful vision and gives great direction. She is incredibly sweet, calming and helpful and multiple times helped me fix my hair in the wind. She got back our pictures to us in a timely manner and was overall a joy to work with! We now have beautiful memories of our celebration that help us relive that day over and over thanks to Zha Zha!

There isn't enough room here to fit all the great things I want to say about Zha Zha. My fiance and I hired her to capture some fun yet intimate moments of us before our wedding and she went above and beyond. She is so caring, easy to work with, and gives wonderful directions. She even granted our request to have her pup Waffles there with us to ease the nerves! While we were shooting at the Cypress Tree Tunnel, it was very cold and she always made sure to give us breaks to keep warm. On top of being fun to work with, her photos were amazing. I love our classic and timeless shots but never thought I'd enjoy the sweet candids this much! Thank you for everything Zha Zha and please give Waffles a big hug for us too! :)

Zhazha is an amazing photographer to work with! We knew that we had to book her for our engagement session from the start after seeing her portfolio. During the planning phase, we expressed our desire to capture both the natural scenery and the skyline of SF. Zhazha provided suggestions, which made decision making extremely easy. She is very personal and professional- gave us great tips to pose and made us very comfortable in front of the camera. Everything went smoothly and well-coordinated as we moved from one location to another. We did not feel rushed and Zhazha was very patient. She has an eye to scout the “moment” and captured our special memories. Needless to say, the pictures are GORGEOUS! We love the modern and classic vibe turnout! The icing on the cake was when we got to take pictures with Waffles- Zhazha’s extremely handsome golden retriever! It made the entire experience more memorable. Zha Zha was an absolute dream to work with for my fall City Hall wedding. I’m not at all comfortable/natural in front of a camera usually and she was amazing at capturing us in the most natural way and getting every gorgeous moment. She was also there for us every step of the way and her secret weapon is her incredible knowledge of City Hall and local vendors. Her deep understanding of the industry and location helped me have an actual worry-free wedding Having an expert at our fingertips really took a lot of stress out of our planning process. I LOVED being able to ping her anytime I had a question. We’re so lucky to have had her with us from the morning till night and she captured amazing photos at city hall, on a cable car ride that stopped throughout the city, dinner, dancing and everything in between. She’s your one-stop guru for a perfect, stress free wedding. Snap her up!

Zha Zha has a natural eye for what will look beautiful on camera, off camera, flowers, really anything. Her style is classic and timeless, and it won’t ever look trendy when you look back at your gallery of photos decades later. She did both photos and floral design for our wedding and nailed the aesthetic we wanted. Her personality is so hospitable, you never feel like she is gunning you down with her camera. She takes time to get to know you and your interests, so that she can reflect those same characteristics in the photos she captures. I haven’t stopped recommending her services to my friends and family. She recently also took photos at my sister’s wedding as well, and her work just keeps getting better. Consider choosing her if you want your investment to be worth it; I promise!

We hired Zha Zha for both photography and floral design for our wedding, and she went above and beyond!! She far exceeded our expectations - we could not have been happier with the outcome. Zha Zha is professional, personable, and so patient. She really helped my husband and me feel more at ease in front of the camera (coming from someone who hates their photo taken!). Her design style in both her photos and her florals is stunning. Her work truly speaks for itself. Wedding planning was one of the most stressful experiences, but we had so much fun working with Zha Zha. She was our favorite vendor, and she really alleviated a lot of our stress! As the mother of the bride I could not be any happier with all the special moments captured. Her attention to detail and passion about what she does will have you crying every time you go down memory lane looking at the pictures. She has such a calming and sweet presence that is definitely needed on high stress days like wedding days LOL Zha Zha just flowed in her element and captured every moment without even being noticed. My daughter could not have picked a better photographer!!! Zha Zha is the best hands down! Every image she captures has the “WOW” effect and makes my eyes water (LOL) every time I look at the pictures from my daughter’s wedding. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I had a wonderful time working with Zha Zha! She has transformed us from an awkward couple with no experience taking professional pictures to being comfortable in each other's arms, posing, and being gushy with one another in front of the camera. She's extremely easy to work with, responsive and detailed, professional, and she can speak Mandarin (which helped herding the Chinese side of my family during group pictures). Zha Zha is not only an expert on photography, but in other aspects of wedding planning as well. She shared advice and tips that helped us with our overall wedding planning process. Another bonus with working with Zha Zha is her adorable golden retriever named Waffles whom you'll likely get to meet :) I am still gushing over my engagement and wedding photos taken and have received so many compliments from friends and family on the quality of the photography. I would strongly recommend Zha Zha. She provides exceptional customer service and is an amazing photographer. I can't wait to continue to relive the memory of my wedding through my timeless wedding photos!

Zha Zha is the ABSOLUTE BEST! She was hands-down our favorite vendor for our wedding! She is very professional but also super personable. Zha Zha made sure to schedule a couple of meetings with us to review the logistics for the big day. She is very experienced with weddings and gave us great recommendations for other vendors and advice for the wedding schedule (when to start, how to much time to spend taking photos at which areas of the venue). On the day of, we felt super awkward and shy taking intimate photos, but she helped us make it more natural and comfortable! Zha Zha directed us throughout the day on how to pose, move, and where to stand for both of us and our wedding party. She would find the best lighting and angles for us, while also changing filters depending on the setting. She also made sure we got photos with all of our friends and family as well as our wedding details. Her editing skills are also amazing and all of our photos turned out SO beautifully! We got our photos a lot earlier than we expected. Even after the wedding, she hand-delivered the USB to us, which goes to show how sweet of a person she is. Looking back on our wedding planning process, I would say the wedding photographer is one of the most important investment decisions a couple has to make. The photos last forever, and we will probably look back on our wedding photos for the rest of our lives! All that said, Zha Zha is definitely the absolute best photographer to capture your big day!!

I found Zha Zha on the Knot! She had the best reviews. I contacted her and to my surprise she responded right away. I felt like the luckiest bride when she said she was available. She was very flexible to my schedule, we met three times to make sure that everything was just the way I wanted it. She was so meticulous with her work! At some point, I had a bridezilla moment (when I realized my engagement photo shoot location was unavailable) and she made me feel calm and reassured. My fiancé (now husband) was so nervous about our engagement photos but Zha Zha made him and I feel both at ease. The day of our wedding she made sure to be there early. During our photo shoot, she made my family feel included...they loved her! She was so patient, her calm demeanor made everything run so smoothly. Our wedding pictures include all of the important details I wanted, I can’t express how happy I am with them. Zha Zha is seriously the BEST!!!

The BEST photographer you could ever ask for! Zha Zha went above and beyond as our photographer, often going the extra mile and sharing her expertise before, during, and after our special day. :) From our initial email contact, Zha Zha helped us throughout - she was extremely responsive online and in-person. From asking us important questions so that we could anticipate what our day would look like, to discussing must-have photos and on-the-spot coordination! She knew the bay area and identified a location for us that resulted in the most breath-taking photos we have ever been apart of. Everything was smooth, I felt we were in good hands the entire time. Most importantly, I can say without hesitation, she was selfless with her expertise and talent, in a way that made our wedding coordinator take notes ;) Her sense of style, skill-set, and professionalism go beyond the photos and permeate in everything that your wedding feels immediately elevated. Everyone of our guests commented on how great our photographers were during the ceremony and were blown-away by our photos. We cannot thank you enough for your everything that you did for us. Zha Zha is AMAZING!! We're so glad that we found her. The whole entire wedding planning process can be very stressful with all the tiny details and considerations. Zha Zha was incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire process. She shot our civil ceremony, reception and made us felt super comfortable the entire time. She also did all of our flowers (bridal bouquet on both days, boutonniere, etc). Her communication was great and she went above and beyond to help us figure out other little details (like where / what kind of candles and vases to buy, how to set it up). Outside of being our photographer / florist, she was our wedding expert that we could ask questions and bounce ideas off of. During our wedding, Zha Zha and her second shooter went above and beyond and checked in on us to make sure we had water, drinks, etc. which was much appreciated. All of our family and friends had nothing but great things to say about her. We were so in love with the photos she shot and will definitely cherish them forever. My husband and I had an incredible experience working with Zha Zha as our wedding photographer. We knew from the moment we met her over lunch to get to know her we'd have a phenomenal experience working with her— she delivered well above and beyond our expectations! Zha Zha really put in the effort to get to know us in order to align on the overall vision and strategy for the look, feel, and vibe of the photos given all the unique locations involved on our big day in San Francisco (i.e. Fairmont Ghirardelli Square, Saints Peter & Paul Church, cable trolley car, Fort Mason Pier, and Gallery 308). We felt so comfortable shooting with Zha Zha and her second shooter on our wedding day— they guided us through all the locations without any hiccups and communicated exceptionally well with our wedding party, family, and friends for photos. Some of my favorite memories from our wedding day were all the special moments shared with our guests, which Zha Zha did an amazing job of capturing candids shots of. Her attention to detail is impeccable. In lieu of an engagement shoot, we opted for a post-wedding shoot instead so we could maximize time with our guests. Zha Zha was very open to this idea and it was one of the best decisions we made. Opting for a post-wedding shoot gave us more flexibility and time to capture scenic shots in the Marin Headlands and Sutro Baths— there was no way we'd be able to pull off shooting in these locations on our wedding day. I am so incredibly happy with how our wedding day and post-wedding shoot photos turned out, all thanks to Zha Zha! I LOVE looking back on our wedding album and can't wait to print and frame our pictures. I honestly can't recommend Zha Zha enough— you're in more than capable and experienced hands with her and I'd hire her again and again if I could!

Zha Zha has been taking my photos for years now and she has shot several big events for me. As you can see from her many features, she takes AMAZING photos!!! And what I love just as much about her is how comfortable she makes you feel during the most stressful of events. She gives gentle guidance and advice that is helpful and never feels forced. She is extremely patient and accommodating to help you get EVERY shot that you want. Zha zha’s work ethic is very professional and you will never see her lose it. I love that we have a lot of communication before shooting so that we both have the same clear goals and I know what to expect. She is easy to reach and replies promptly via text and email. As for the photos - you will see them very promptly, she doesn’t keep you waiting. Teasers were even ready on the same day! Albums are posted online and protected by a password. It’s easy to use her link to download and send to family and friends. Once you work with Zha Zha, you will want her to shoot everything :)

Our experience with Zha Zha was absolutely amazing, she definitely exceeded our expectations for our wedding. For our wedding, Zha Zha shot our engagement photos, our wedding photos, and even designed our floral arrangements and bouquet - all of which executed beautifully for our special day. Her positive attitude and effortless skill with a camera made working with her so easy. She always made us feel included in the creative decisions and were sensitive to the things we especially wanted to capture. Zha Zha had all the necessary experience and gear to deal with any situation. As things go on wedding days, not everything goes exactly as planned; Zha Zha was calm and quick on her feet to think of creative solutions to get around things like weather and lighting, our resulting photos speak for themselves! She has a great eye to capture candid moments. Even the more “posed” set ups feel genuine, which is something I personally feel other photographers struggle with. The delivery of our photos were timely, giving us both digital and print options. Having been around many wedding, I feel we were super lucky to have someone like Zha Zha - she’s the real deal if you want spectacular photos of your special day and great floral design to boot.

" The best ever" is correct. Yes, to all the amazing praise Zha Zha receives for her magical pictures and her sweet demeanor. She took the most magical pictures of my civil ceremony back in July and we couldn't be more grateful and excited with our decision. She is so professional, arrives on time, has all the tools and lenses to work her magic and has the attitude of a saint to ease your nerves. The quality of the photos is unbelievable and I always end up spending way too long staring at my online album when I show it to family or friends. We aren't the most comfortable people taking pictures but Zha knows exactly how to guide everyone in the frame in order to make the magic happen. Anyone with a camera now days calls themselves a photographer but be careful as you won't get the same quality or might end up with some awkward poses. Been there. Zha Zha has been doing wedding photography for many years. She has the experience needed to capture every beautiful moment with the most magnificent backgrounds to remind you of the magical moments. Zha Zha was an amazing vendor to work with from start to finish! She is extremely professional and communicated well throughout the whole process. On our wedding day, she was absolutely seamless to work with and got along with everyone. I respected her ability to be vocal to overbearing relatives and she was even able to communicate to my relatives in Chinese which was an absolute plus! We got our pictures in a timely manner and we were just in love with our pictures. I also love how amazing she was at guiding my husband and I in the pictures as we don't know how to pose. She make our pictures look natural and flawless. Highly recommend!

First of all, our photos turned out amazing! Zha Zha was an absolute delight to work with. We met in person prior to our wedding day and hit it off right away. Zha Zha is very professional, while simultaneously having a calming presence about her. She was always quick to reply to an e-mail or text. The day of our wedding Zha Zha was there early, waiting for us to arrive. In that time, she had scoped out some places for our post ceremony photo shoot. She had a great eye for making our photos dramatic and intimate. She gave great advice for posing and offered plenty of compliments, keeping our confidence high. We now have a beautiful wedding album, and our day was completely flawless thanks to Zha Zha!

When my wife saw Zha Zha's work, she told me that we need to book her for our wedding. The way Zha Zha captured moments were different from other photographers. The color schemes, angles, lighting, you name any technical aspect and we felt she was a savant in her field. What was truly amazing was that even though we hired a photographer, what she provided was far more then the usual scope of a "photographer". Zha Zha helped plan our day and made sure we were prepared with the small nuances of timing with the different events and during all the chaos made sure we were hydrated and had time to get something to eat. Zha Zha's ability to work with our other vendors was seamless and professional. My wife and I are truly happy that we made the decision to go with Zha Zha for our wedding and I can guarantee that we will be requesting her for future photo sessions.

Zha Zha is the only vendor you really need. Minus food, she is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! She actually did my best friends wedding about 9 months before I got married, and I was lucky enough to see the results, but I didn't need to. She is creative, extremely kind, patient, and fun! She obviously has enough experience to know what looks good, in any weather, against any background. My husband and I loved reliving some of those moments because we were really laughing throughout the whole time, with Zha Zha and her team included. They arrived on time (my videographer was 1.5 hours late) and took the most incredible pictures. Even to this day, my husband, my family, and his family only talk about ONE VENDOR, and that's Zha Zha. I will one day come up with more reasons to hire her. Maybe for my 10 year vow renewal. ;) I just love Zha Zha and I absolutely recommend her to EVERYONE getting married.

Zha Zha is AMAZING! She took our engagement photos and our SF City Hall civil wedding photos. Everyone including my family & friends are still in such awe by how amazing she captured every moment. Mind you, my husband and I are not models but she managed to make us look so amazing as if we were born to be in front of the camera. She made us feel very comfortable and natural during the photoshoots. Zha Zha is a one stop shop. She was a great consult for wedding planning. She helped and walked us through the whole process and what's expected during our wedding day. She also took the photos, provided the flower arrangements and helped design the bridal shower of my dreams. I wouldn't even think twice about booking her. We highly highly recommend her. She is very talented, knowledgable and has a very keen eye for aesthetics. And for an added bonus; you might be able to meet her sweet golden retriever, Waffles.

Zha Zha came highly recommended from our wedding coordinator. She did NOT disappoint. We had some unusual requests for our engagement shoot, and she was totally up for the creative challenge. Zha Zha was the designer and florist for our Nestldown wedding. It's a shame we're not getting married again because she was absolutely fantastic to work with! Every step of the way, we were amazed by how involved and attentive Zha Zha was. She met us several times and was quick to answer texts and emails in addition. She provided expert opinions and took a lot of guess-work and headache out of planning. Most importantly, the wedding ended up being absolutely beautiful in no small part due to Zha Zha's florals and design.

I was fortunate enough to have Zha Zha do our engagement session. My fiancé' and I were completely blown away by the photos. Zha Zha made us look so damn good!! When I showed my mom the gallery, she legit spent 2 hours going over the pics, crying, and saying “WOWWWWW.” Disclaimer: we are not models lol. So in all honesty, whenever we have photography sessions we’re always a little worried about looking awkward in the photos. But Zha Zha made us feel so comfortable! She's really great at giving direction and making the energy of your shoot feel fun and friendly. In turn, the love and adoration between me and my fiancé is translated through the photos. Her eye for colors, angles, and details is absolutely amazing. Our engagement photos literally look like ART! On top of that, her style of editing is perfection. I’m pretty picky about this. I’m not a fan of photos that are too washed out or too dark/grainy. Our engagement photos are crisp and clear, with beautiful tones and bokeh. It makes me so happy to know I will look back on these in 50 years and STILL love how they look! I cannot wait to have Zha Zha capture my wedding!!!

Zha Zha did a fantastic job as our wedding photographer, we can't say enough great things about her. My husband and I initially booked her for our Chinese Tea ceremony and dinner banquet but decided to also have her be our photographer for our City Hall ceremony as well. Even though we asked her last minute; not only was she was able to accommodate but she gifted us the bridal bouquet and boutonniere. Zha Zha was also able to provide us the photos back within a week of the City Hall Ceremony so that we could use the photos in a slide show at our wedding banquet. Our Wedding day was a long 12 hours+ and Zha Zha and Winston did such a fantastic job in herding the 14 people wedding party, taking photos of our 300+ guests, and making everyone so comfortable. They took a lot of candid photos that makes us laugh every time we look back on our wedding day. We received our (800+) photos back about 3 months after the wedding and they were all so beautiful. Just the other day we received a surprise gift from Zha Zha in the mail with selected prints as well as a USB with the photos. She is so thoughtful and an absolute delight to work with. If you're looking for an incredible photographer look no further, Zha Zha is your best bet! Initially, we weren't going to do the whole "engagement shoot" thing, but after seeing Zha Zha's work we knew she would capture us without making it seem too forced. We wanted a different type of engagement photo that still captured the unique side of San Francisco and our personalities. After talking with Zha Zha about our vision, we set a date to adventure to the back side of the Marin Headlands together. The engagement photos came out BEAUTIFULLY. I was in awe. Photos we will definitely cherish forever. After the engagement shoot, we knew we needed Zha Zha to document our wedding. She captured everything from the small details to unique moments that we missed by being caught up in the day. Her eye for design is impeccable, she went above and beyond to document our wedding and when our sweetheart cake needed a little extra pop, she took the initiative to add a few pieces of foliage to it to make it even more photogenic. She not only impressed us on our wedding day but also our family and friends who were amazed by the vibrancy, light and love that emulate through her photos. Zha Zha was so easy to work with, made us feel comfortable and guided us into flattering photos without making us seem unnaturally directed. I wish I could do 6 stars! I was on the hunt for a photographer my wedding this past fall when I came across Zha Zha. I could tell she had an excellent eye for composition and lighting. Once I met her I knew she was going to be super fun to work with too! She literally captured my dream wedding to perfection! Before the wedding, we did an engagement session and she made me feel so comfortable with my poses. On the wedding day, she calmly adapted to our changing needs. She really does care and listens to what you want. I could continue, but I think once you start to talk to Zha Zha you will understand exactly what I'm saying! 100% recommended!

My fiancé and I planned a San Francisco City Hall elopement in the span of three weeks, and booking Zha Zha was the best decision we made. Zha Zha is a one-stop-wedding-shop, and served as a mini-wedding planner, photographer, florist, and chauffeur for us. Zha Zha was extremely organized and responsive, and really made all of my wishes come true. As a crazy dog lady, I wanted to take wedding photos with my shiba inu Kokoro, and Zha Zha was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating in finding us places to take wedding pictures with our pup (palace of fine arts and golden gate bridge!), driving us to those places (hard to uber with a dog!), and went above and beyond to make my day stress-free and wonderful. Zha Zha was a great sport when we had 10+ friends spontaneously show up at City Hall to surprise us with champagne and dumplings. She included our amazing wedding crashers in our photos, and even had some dumplings with us to celebrate. Zha Zha also impressed my Chinese-speaking mother with her mandarin language skills, and was extremely gentle and talented in working with our adorable but aloof dog. Zha Zha also made the most beautiful bouquet, boutonnière, and centerpiece of roses and peonies. All I did was send her two photos of the flower colors that I liked, and she made the magic happen. Zha Zha was a pleasure to work with. She said that her father was a wedding photographer; it really seems like she’s been in this industry her entire life. I highly recommend her and will certainly be booking her again for future special occasions.

Zha Zha is amazing! My husband and I are are very happy with how easy going, professional, and talented she is. Our photos turned out wonderfully and she captured some very special moments beautifully. We love our photos and felt that she guided us to choose the package that was right for us and our wedding. We chose her because she excels at capturing natural beauty around events. She was thoughtful to ask for input from both us (my husband met with and booked her) and was extremely helpful in developing a timeline for the day of events (getting ready, family photos) leading up wedding. Zha Zha photographed and did the flower arrangements for my wedding in August and I and all my guests were blown away at how beautiful everything turned out. She was thorough and attentive without being invasive, the posed shots came out natural and she was an absolute joy to work with. I can not recommend her enough. The bouquets were perfect with the weddings decoration and the trellis main piece was incredible. She did a great job incorporating our colors so tastefully. I could not be happier with anything she had a hand in.

I am really happy that wife and I found Zha Zha Design! Since finding her she has been able to shoot our engagement photos for us, work the floral and decorations for our wedding and shoot many of our child’s milestones. Our whole adult life has been captured wonderfully by her. Upon our first interview with her we mentioned that we were not the best at posing and smiling on command. Zha Zha took that information and when it came time for our shoot, she really put us at ease and provided easy direction for us to follow. We still get compliments on our save the date photos and have a couple of shots from that session hanging in our house. The style of photography is what mainly drew us to her and her personality and professionalism keeps us coming back to her. Zha Zha is extremely thorough and hardworking as well. She wasn’t able to shoot our wedding since she had another wedding but she did ALL of our floral. Some of our friends are now wanting the same set up for their weddings as well. In fact, I really think she took our wedding cake to the next level with her choice of flowers. She had set aside flowers for our cake with detailed instructions on placement and it made our 5 tier cake truly look extravagant. She really topped everything off by creating signage for all of our booths that we had set up. Since the wedding, we have kept in touch pretty well and call Zha Zha over to get a couple of shots of our newborn. These photos came out great and are priceless to us. Zha Zha is honestly the go to person for all things wedding. She just has a natural gift for photography and design. My best friend booked Zha Zha as a florist and photographer for her wedding. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. I briefly saw my best friend's engagement photos and I like the modern touch she adds to the pictures. I am not artsy and do not have an eye for photography =P.
