The perfect wedding spot in Austin! The view is unmatched, and the space is great for a small wedding (we had ~100). Though you can't beat the cost, know that you will have to pay ...
"after hours" delivery fees to your vendors because you will only have the space on the day of your event, unless you book for the entire weekend. The other consideration is that there is no space for getting ready at the venue, so make sure to have a hotel or loved one's home available for staging, etc. Our January wedding was delightful - though it was a bit chilly (~50*), having the ceremony inside and the reception inside/outside was great.
This is a must see, must have venue! It's City of Austin owned, very affordable and comes with tables and chairs for 150. Not to mention the beautiful view of the Austin skyline! W...
e had an incredible wedding here over Halloween weekend.
We chose this venue for the amazing view. It delivered perfectly. It works well for smaller weddings - under 100 guests. Also there is no AC. Our wedding was in September, so the h...
eat want to bad. Well worth the price.
It's an old rustic clubhouse run by Austin Parks and Rec. It is the best view in Austin. Situated on the west side of the city, you can watch as the golden glow of the sun shines o...

A problem that I was worried about is their isn't air conditioning. We got married July 18th and started our reception out there around 7:00, and we honestly didn't have a problem with it. We had a portable air conditioning unit for the club house. We set up cocktail tables outside, which was where most people hung out and ate.The clubhouse sits on the east side of a hill, so it gets shaded relatively quick and catches a good breeze.
The view was beyond beautiful and all my guests were super impressed with the venue. Its great for a couple looking for a more do-it-yourself, rustic type wedding. The only downsid...
e is you have to clean up after yourself.
The clubhouse is absolutely perfect! With rustic charm and amazing views of the city, it was the perfect place for my simple, Austin wedding. Everyone commented that it was the b...
est place that they had been. Thankfully the February weather was also perfect as it would be hot in the summer with no AC. Fireplaces are available for chilly nights. The city lottery for "winning" the venue can be tricky but if luck is with you, the clubhouse is an amazing place to get married and you will certainly not regret it. Be ready to plan, set-up, and take down everything yourself, but if you are a diy girl like me, that will not be a problem. The freedom to make it your own is a blessing.
The Zilker Clubhouse was a hidden gem - I am so happy we found it! It was very economical compared to other venues in Austin, and we were able to have the space for the entire day....
The indoor space with its rustic fireplaces provided the perfect ambiance for my Spanish themed wedding, and the open air patio provided a breathtaking view of Austin's Skyline, Ladybird Lake and the Greenbelt - a gorgeous backdrop for our reception. Our guests were blown away!
AMAZING venue!!! This rustic venue set back in the hills overlooking Austin is breathtaking! We have had multiple compliments on how beautiful the view of Austin was at our wedding...
