We are so happy we used Zingerman's Catering! The food was AMAZING and Stephanie was wonderful to work with - the tasting was so much fun, and she helped guide us through the menu-planning process, making sure we didn't end up with too much or too little. She was professional and easy-going, as were all of the staff that helped out the day-of. We had a family-style first-course, but a buffet dinner, and felt everything went very smoothly and efficiently!

I had my wedding at Zingerman's Greyline in 2017. I was amazed at how helpful the staff was, particularly Stephanie, in planning and executing the event. We were also very pleased with how the food tasted and was presented at our reception. Overall, having Greyline as our venue was a wonderful choice. The attached Marriott was also very convenient for guests.

Zingerman's and Emily Wilson (who I worked with) did a fabulous job. I easily think we had the best quality and tasting food of any wedding I've been to and guests were vying for take home containers. We did a family style dinner and there was no shortage of food. Everything went flawlessly and Emily was a dream with setting up the tasting, making changes to the menu, and revising things to fit the budget.

We really wanted to focus on food because my husband and I are fat kids on the inside. I was actually drawn to the idea of a sandwich buffet because duh Zingerman's is known for its sandwiches. My father was skeptical because he thought it would look like a company picnic. I brought our haphazard, unfocused vision to Zingerman's Catering and they came up with a combination of sandwichettes, roast chicken, side dishes, salads, and appetizers that made everyone happy. We also put the Buenos Aires Brownies on the dessert table because they are the best things in the world. My other vendors begged me to let them take some home. We got so many compliments on the food, both because it tasted amazing and because it contributed to a fun, chill atmosphere. Also, it's super gratifying when you tell your foodie friends that Zings is catering and their eyes light up and they open mouth grin. Patti (who is no longer there) and Kara were so helpful every step of the way with every question and they do a great job making you feel at ease. Even if you are not the bridezilla type, attentiveness from a vendor cannot be overvalued when you're planning your wedding. The whole team was super professional and awesome. I would recommend them to anyone! I would also recommend the mac and cheese!

The food at our wedding was AMAZING!! The mac & cheese is still coming up in conversation :-) I loved working with Kara and everything about the food was above and beyond our expectations. Though we did have A LOT leftover, but they packed it all up nicely and it has frozen beautifully.

We had our rehearsal dinner for about 50 people at the Zingerman's Roadhouse. It was fantastic! We had our own indoor/outdoor space on the patio and covered patio area. The food was awesome and the staff was great. They made really cute personalized favors for us with their famous brownies.

I wish I could give Zingerman's a 10 on everything! Patti was our catering coordinator and we love, love, loved her!!! From the very first conversation to the tasting to our actual day it was flawless!! They took care of everything for us!! Set up our linen , organized my vendors coming in down to making sure I ate! The staff was so polite, kind, and professional! I am still hearing from my guest how fantastic the food was!! We had brisket (fantastic), whitefish (fantastic), and a vegetarian casserole for our vegetarian friends and family. We decided on pies instead of a cake and had an assortment of finger deserts. We also had 6 passed and stationed appetizers that were a huge hit! I don't know how to show my gratitude towards them for making my day perfect! Patti and the whole team are absolutely wonderful!! Thank you for making it the best day of my life!!! I would recommend them for everything!!!!

The crew that was at the venue for the rehearsal dinner and reception did not stop smiling from the second they drove in the driveway. The service was unbelievable and the food even better. Not many guests at a wedding comment on how good the food is, it is usually just "wedding food" and will do. The food was outstanding and all of the guests licked their plates clean! Well worth every penny that was spent.

My husband and I were trying to find a caterer for our rehearsal dinner. The problem is, we live in Detroit Metro and our rehearsal dinner was at my husband's parent's house in Bowling Green, Ohio. After looking around in the Toledo area and becoming rather discouraged, one night my husband said, "If only there was a place like Zingerman's down there." We looked at each other in an absolute reverie. What if maybe, just maybe Zingerman's caters that far away? The very next morning we made a phone call to Zingerman's, and to our delight they DO cater that far! (It turns out their food is in demand both near and far.) So needless to say, we had an awesome rehearsal dinner. I don't need to talk about how wonderful the food was; if you've never eaten at Zingerman's before, take a trip to Ann Arbor and prepare for a spiritual awakening!

There are no words to explain how wonderful Zingerman's is. Everyone is still talking about how great the food was! I would say their prices are comparable to any other caterer, yet their quality is through the roof, measure beyond the others. Not only was the food incredible (and not your average roast beef and pasta type stuff), the service was perfect. Since day one, the woman (Terra!) staffing the event was on top of every detail...she coordinated with the venue, the florist, the cake baker, the DJ, everyone! During the event, the servers (we did buffet style) were always helping and taking care of everything. We had a mishap where our A/C was out and it was 90 degrees, yet the staff busted their butts always with a smile and patience until the very end of the reception. I love this caterer and staff and I will always recommend them and will use them for future events.

Food is incredible and Paul was amazingly helpful. The cost is high, but you basically get a wedding coordinator in the deal! The servers were professional and speedy, everything from chairs, tables, centerpieces, favors, etc... was set up for us, and Paul kept the reception running smoothly.

Initially, this space was called "eve" and was rented by an amazing chef in the Ann Arbor area. We had planned on having our reception there, had put down the deposit, and were super excited about our unique and beautiful venue. However, when eve's lease ran out, Zingerman's swooped in and took over the space, leaving us confused and with no venue. Sounds terrible, I know...but it all worked out! I was contacted immediately by Paul of Zingerman's Catering. He stated that if we still wanted to use the space for our wedding, we could absolutely discuss this. He was easy going, helpful, and very knowledgable about weddings and special events. Everything worked out and we began planning our wedding at the new event space, Zingerman's Events on Fourth. Located in adorable and unique Kerrytown in Ann Arbor, MI, this space is PERFECT for a small wedding. It comes complete with a stainless bar, modern lighting and exposed brick walls. While I was a bit worried the week of as I wasn't getting the best communication and had many questions, everything came together perfectly. The chef, Nancy, stepped in when Paul wasn't available to ease my nerves and assure me that everything we had requested was in order. We had numerous special requests, and sure enough, Zingerman's came through and exceeded our expectations. Let me break everything down so you know what I'm referring to: Wedding size: 74 people...everyone fit perfectly (more would be pushing it) Specialty beverages: We were able to secure kegs from Liberty Street Brewing Company in Plymouth as well as Northville Wineries. Also, Paul helped us choose two great wines and accomodated our request of a Prosecco that we could only find at Trader Joe's. From what I understand, they are working on gettin Boylan Sodas in the fountain there as well. Zingerman's house sangria ("Zingria") was also a HUGE hit. Inside: they have a huge chalkboard...since our event was elegant with a modern edge, I was able to give Paul a copy of our wedding invite and an amazing artist that works for Zingerman's replicated our font/invite heading on the chalkboard. I was blown away. They also hung a huge white curtain that I had liked from the previous eve space to cover some rather mismatched exposed brick on the far wall. Loved it. Outside: They obtained permits and all of the proper equipment including high top cocktail tables and sectioned off the Kerrytown Courtyard so that guests could roam about inside and out with their drinks and appetizers. Food: Amazing. They were able to put together an excellent menu at a totally reasonable cost. They also were able to accomodate a gluten-free meal! Everyone loved the food which included fruit and grilled veggie skewers, Piri Piri chicken, tender flank steak, mashed potatoes, eggplant lasagna, asparagus, and gelato from Zingerman's cremery. We were also able to create our own playlist and hook up a computer so we didn't have to pay for a DJ. That was greatly appreciated! Cici was our "day of" coordinator and she was brilliant. I loved working with her! The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. They worked with me to create our perfect wedding reception and I was definitely wowed by how it all turned out.

Fantastic food! Delicious, warm and wonderful! Our guests were thrilled with the quality, and most of our local not know that Zingerman's also offers delicious,unique full meal entrees at reasonable prices. We could not have been happier!

Zingerman's did a wonderful job providing the food for my wedding. Because I was attending school in a different state then the one I intended to have my wedding in, Laura, my fiancé (who was also in a separate state), and I conducted the vast majority of our discussions via email. Let me tell you, not the easiest thing to do!! However, Laura was very cooperative and understanding and made it all seem so easy! And when the time for the reception came, she had all the food set up and looking wonderful! The wedding guests served themselves in a buffet style table and the wedding party were served at their table, which made it so much easier then going through a line in my wedding finery!! If I ever had occasion to need a catering service while I am in Michigan, I will definitely be using Zingerman's again!
