We had guests arrive very early and I did not want to be seen by all of them yet. Zoe and Josh were so great about directing people around and making sure I felt comfortable. Our photos capture every moment and detail of the day, even the moments I missed because I was busy or talking to a family member. Not only that, but they are the most high quality photos, with so many different backgrounds and poses. We had so much fun playing with my long veil and the photos are like something out of a movie. My husband Cody and I are so thankful for the experience you guys gave us and the stunning, timeless photos we have to look back on forever.

We looked though so many photographers, wanting more of a natural photo style rather than the more bold/dramatic style out there which just didn’t feel like us but seems pretty popular these days, but when we looked though Zoe’s portfolio, we were so excited - it was just the style we were looking for and she 110% delivered that for both our engagement and wedding photos. We scheduled a last minute 1-hour engagement shoot with her in St. Louis when I was in town for the week and couldn’t have been happier with our (300+!!) photos. We were so relieved that she travels for weddings! Since we were going to have a packed wedding day, we decided to book her and her second shooter (her husband, Josh) and it was great to have photos of both bride and groom wedding parties getting ready and through the day! They did an AMAZING job, fully capturing the beauty of our outdoor waterfront garden venue and producing amazing photos in the full spectrum of lighting from bright Florida mid-day sun, to sunset portraits, to speeches under a spotlight after the sun went down and even people having fun on the dance floor (2,600+ amazing photos from 12 hours of shooting)! Pros - She was super responsive and accomodating in setting up our engagement shoot only a few days ahead of time and throughout planning for the wedding; she was great about coaching us into cute and romantic poses where we still looked authentic and natural and captured our love in such a sweet and genuine way; she has a very thorough pre-wedding questionnaire to get all the info needed to make sure she knows what you want to capture on your day and makes sure to deliver! She was also SO FAST at turning around the finished gallery of photos- like record speed - only a couple days for all our beautiful engagement photos and she sent the link to the full online gallery of our gorgeous wedding photos like within a week - while we were still on our honeymoon! Cons - Since we were getting married in Miami in March, photographer travel costs for wedding weekend added up kind of fast (but that wasn’t Zoe’s fault!). But even with travel costs, it still wasn’t as expensive as some of the Miami photographers we were shown by our planner and she is SO much better! Bottom line- if you see Zoe’s portfolio and like her style, do not hesitate to book her! She turned my husband and I into models we never knew we were and we have the best engagement and wedding photos we could have ever asked for and that we can cherish for the rest of our lives!

Throughout my engagement, she responded to phone calls and emails immediately. Zoe also walked through in person with me my reception and in between wedding photo sites before the wedding that made me so much more comfortable and relaxed knowing what to expect before the big day. On the day of, she and her husband/assistant were a perfect team gently directing the entire wedding party for all the shots and poses we could want. We LOVED all of the 2,000+ photos we received shortly after our wedding! So many beautiful shots and lots of variety. There were a few “must have” shots I asked for and Zoe delivered! so wonderful. Josh somehow managed to shoot beautiful, romantic portraits of us in 98 degree, humid St. Louis weather - I'm still amazed! The photos are classic, but with a touch of bright and modern, just as we wanted. Josh also captured the moments we said were most important to us. I would recommend having two shooters there for the ceremony, especially if the church or venue has rules about where photographers can be during the ceremony. We hired a second photographer for an hour during our ceremony, and it was so worth it for the extra moments Josh and the second photographer were able to capture! Zoe is wonderful to communicate with, also, and has a very in depth form to fill out that helps you plan and organize your wedding day and what photographs you highly value so that Zoe or Josh can work to capture those. I planned my own wedding, and Zoe's organization, questions, and attention to detail helped me plan things I forgot I needed to plan! In addition, Zoe edited our photos even though Josh took them, so our photos have the same beautiful Zoe Life editing we love. Zoe Life Photography creates the most beautiful photos that truly reflected the joy of our wedding day, the people who came to celebrate with us, and the importance of our faith and the meaning of marriage, just as we wanted. They are both wonderful and I couldn't recommend their work more to you!

ts she took (a good problem to have). She was very pregnant and brought a second shooter and assistant to our wedding for free. Being pregnant didn't seem to slow her down at all, but we were so grateful to have the additional help. She is totally no-nonsense - she can take charge of a group and instructs everyone on how to stand and pose to look best, so the stress is completely taken away from the bridal party. And she is also so friendly and supportive as well. We would recommend Zoe 100%. (She also did our engagement photos which we absolutely love!)
