Zoe was a pleasure to work with. She and her husband were professional but personal, they really helped lighten stressful situations during my wedding. Zoe also help educate me on how to take care of my flowers during my wedding when the florist just dropped them off without saying much of anything, she really saved me a headache there!

I used Zoe for my 2020 wedding and knew I wanted to use her for our newborn photos when the time came! She was able to get 200+ pictures of our newborn in all the poses we wanted in under 2 hours. She did a fantastic job again and we will treasure these priceless photos forever! Can’t wait to sign up for one of her fall mini sessions when our baby is older!

We booked Zoe for our engagement photo session in October at the Missouri Botanical Garden. She was wonderful to work with--she was able to give us direction and knew how to capture those special moments. We got our photos within 1 week and they are stunning.

We LOVED Zoe!! We knew we didn’t want to skim budget with our photographer given the photos are the things that last forever and we could not have chosen a better photographer than Zoe. She was so professional and communicated with us consistently about the big day and our engagement session. I cannot express enough how happy we are with Zoe’s work and think she needs to charge more for her services, so book her quickly before she increases her minimums!!!

We loved working with Zoe and her husband on our wedding day! Although it is such a happy time, weddings can be stressful and her laid back personality helped me feel at ease. Wow... just wow! Zoe was so incredible on the shoot day. We are two awkward people that aren't used to being in front of a camera. Zoe made us feel so comfortable and made us look AMAZING! Where do I start? My original wedding photographer cancelled on me last minute, and I was frantically searching for someone who matched the aesthetic/shot at my venue before/was a kind person, and Zoe checked all of those boxes + more. She was extremely responsive, sweet, honest, and very professional for shooting a wedding with less than a weeks notice. I've gotten so many positive comments from guests on her professionalism, dedication to get the perfect shot, and ability to rally my large family photos. I feel like having her ended up being a blessing in disguise, and we're so grateful to have her capture our special day!

If you’re looking for authentic, classic engagement and/or wedding photos, Zoe Life Photography is for you! Zoe is so skilled at creating and capturing the most romantic and beautiful moments. We looked though so many photographers, wanting more of a natural photo style rather than the more bold/dramatic style out there which just didn’t feel like us but seems pretty popular these days, but when we looked though Zoe’s portfolio, we were so excited - it was just the style we were looking for and she 110% delivered that for both our engagement and wedding photos. We scheduled a last minute 1-hour engagement shoot with her in St. Louis when I was in town for the week and couldn’t have been happier with our (300+!!) photos. We were so relieved that she travels for weddings! Since we were going to have a packed wedding day, we decided to book her and her second shooter (her husband, Josh) and it was great to have photos of both bride and groom wedding parties getting ready and through the day! They did an AMAZING job, fully capturing the beauty of our outdoor waterfront garden venue and producing amazing photos in the full spectrum of lighting from bright Florida mid-day sun, to sunset portraits, to speeches under a spotlight after the sun went down and even people having fun on the dance floor (2,600+ amazing photos from 12 hours of shooting)! Pros - She was super responsive and accomodating in setting up our engagement shoot only a few days ahead of time and throughout planning for the wedding; she was great about coaching us into cute and romantic poses where we still looked authentic and natural and captured our love in such a sweet and genuine way; she has a very thorough pre-wedding questionnaire to get all the info needed to make sure she knows what you want to capture on your day and makes sure to deliver! She was also SO FAST at turning around the finished gallery of photos- like record speed - only a couple days for all our beautiful engagement photos and she sent the link to the full online gallery of our gorgeous wedding photos like within a week - while we were still on our honeymoon! Cons - Since we were getting married in Miami in March, photographer travel costs for wedding weekend added up kind of fast (but that wasn’t Zoe’s fault!). But even with travel costs, it still wasn’t as expensive as some of the Miami photographers we were shown by our planner and she is SO much better! Bottom line- if you see Zoe’s portfolio and like her style, do not hesitate to book her! She turned my husband and I into models we never knew we were and we have the best engagement and wedding photos we could have ever asked for and that we can cherish for the rest of our lives!

Zoe was so fun and easy to work with for our Engagement session! She really helped my fiancé and I feel more comfortable in front of the camera and we’re in love with how our photos turned out! We can’t wait for her to photograph our upcoming wedding day!

I was lucky enough to work with Zoe for both our engagement and our wedding! She flew all the way to NYC and got breath-taking photos for our engagement. Beyond her photography talent, she is extremely punctional, responsive to emails and detail-oriented. She is a perfectionist and it truly shows through her work. On our wedding day, she was so pleasant to be around and really listened to what we wanted for our photos. I had a blast working with her and could not recommend her more as a photographer.

Zoe was the best wedding photographer I could have imagined for my wedding! As soon as I reached out, she was very responsive and we had an introductory call to discuss everything. Throughout my engagement, she responded to phone calls and emails immediately. Zoe also walked through in person with me my reception and in between wedding photo sites before the wedding that made me so much more comfortable and relaxed knowing what to expect before the big day. On the day of, she and her husband/assistant were a perfect team gently directing the entire wedding party for all the shots and poses we could want. Zoe and Josh are fantastic!! We used them for both our engagement photos and for the wedding and are thrilled with the results! Our photos came out so romantic with beautiful lighting and they really captured our love. Zoe Life Photo creates absolutely beautiful photos and has such an eye for light, joy, and beautiful moments. My husband and I booked the Associate Photographer, Josh, and he was so wonderful. Josh somehow managed to shoot beautiful, romantic portraits of us in 98 degree, humid St. Louis weather - I'm still amazed! The photos are classic, but with a touch of bright and modern, just as we wanted. Josh also captured the moments we said were most important to us. I would recommend having two shooters there for the ceremony, especially if the church or venue has rules about where photographers can be during the ceremony. We hired a second photographer for an hour during our ceremony, and it was so worth it for the extra moments Josh and the second photographer were able to capture! Zoe is wonderful to communicate with, also, and has a very in depth form to fill out that helps you plan and organize your wedding day and what photographs you highly value so that Zoe or Josh can work to capture those. I planned my own wedding, and Zoe's organization, questions, and attention to detail helped me plan things I forgot I needed to plan! In addition, Zoe edited our photos even though Josh took them, so our photos have the same beautiful Zoe Life editing we love. Zoe Life Photography creates the most beautiful photos that truly reflected the joy of our wedding day, the people who came to celebrate with us, and the importance of our faith and the meaning of marriage, just as we wanted. Zoe totally rocks. The photos she took of our May 4, 2019 wedding are out of this world gorgeous - we are having a ton of trouble deciding our favorites from the 1300+ gorgeous shots she took (a good problem to have). She was very pregnant and brought a second shooter and assistant to our wedding for free. Being pregnant didn't seem to slow her down at all, but we were so grateful to have the additional help. She is totally no-nonsense - she can take charge of a group and instructs everyone on how to stand and pose to look best, so the stress is completely taken away from the bridal party. And she is also so friendly and supportive as well. We would recommend Zoe 100%. (She also did our engagement photos which we absolutely love!)

Zoe is awesome!! We just had received our engagement photo session gallery back and we love the photos! She took so many great shots! We have an insane amount to choose from for our save the dates :). Zoe and her husband kept us laughing the whole time. We have never done a photo shoot before or anything like it and they made us feel so comfortable and relaxed the whole time. The session flew by! They even got our dog, Millie, to pose perfectly for some photos :) We are so excited for Zoe to shoot our wedding in October this year.

They helped plan and coordinate every aspect of our engagement photos and day-of wedding experience. I can not say enough amazing things about how awesome they were! Zoe was amazing from my first contact with her to the final day of the wedding. First, as the bride, I was obviously nervous and the groom wasn't necessarily adhering to the schedule which was making me a little stressed. Zoe was reassuring and rolled with all the small delays. She also took charge when needed, which for me, was great! I had planned and organized the whole event, but when it comes to the actual day, you're the bride and you have to hope things fall into place. Zoe was a big part of this. She did a fantastic job of capturing great moments. She was everywhere at once and I didn't even realize she was there! Afterward, I also got a lot of good feedback from guests at how diligent Zoe was at capturing all the special moments, even ones I wasn't a part of. When we got the photos back there were SO many great ones it was so hard to decide what to have printed. When I ordered my photobook, it was over 100 pages! I also found Zoe to be very reasonably priced for as talented as she is without some of the ridiculous minimums other photographers charge. I found Zoe on The Knot and I'm so happy I did. I would highly recommend her.

YOU MUST HIRE HER! Seriously, don’t waste any more of your time searching and hire Zoe. She is the kindest person you will ever meet, she is fun, she knows her stuff and her work is beyond perfection. I can’t even tell you how many websites I looked at and reviews I read before I found Zoe and as soon as I started looking at her work, I knew I’d found our photographer. And to make things better she was within our budget and super flexible with the packages and options she offers. We currently live in Seattle so I assumed we would need to find someone here for our engagement pics but it turns out that Zoe’s sister lives here so she offered to come do our engagement session for no additional charge and I am SO happy she was able to do that because our engagement pictures turned out far better than I ever could have imagined!! Her ability to frame shots is incredible and the quality of her work is out of this world. She also thinks outside the box and will get some really exceptional photos that will blow your mind. After our engagement shoot, I knew that I didn’t have to worry about our wedding photos because she would exceed our expectations no matter what. Especially since Zoe was always available to chat and was so incredibly helpful with many aspects of the wedding, not just the photography. It felt like working with an old friend throughout the entire process. We had a second photographer for part of our wedding day which I would highly recommend because the two of them were able to capture everything from different perspectives. Together, they took over 5,000 photos which blew my mind! Zoe selected and edited over 1,500 photos for our gallery and words can’t even express how amazing they turned out!!! They captured every special moment and all the little moments in between. We got our gallery about two and a half months ago and haven’t stopped receiving compliments from everyone about how amazing they are. Zoe is just the best and I could not imagine a better experience than what we had with her. She was by far our favorite vendor we had during our wedding and I will forever use her for all my photography needs (babies, puppies, puppies and babies). Thank you again Zoe!!!

Words cannot describe how phenomenal Zoe is and how incredible her photos are! My husband and I recently got married this fall in Nashville and Zoe shot our special day. We live in California, so we were not able to meet with Zoe in person prior, but she was super accommodating and set up phone calls and answered every single question we ever had. When it came time for our special day, she got every single shot we desired plus SO MUCH more. She has such a creative eye and was able to catch every special moment for both the wedding party and our guests who attended. We were a little nervous about not having a videographer for our wedding, but we ended up with over 1,800 photos- ALL which are incredible and captured the entire night...so we did not need the videographer at all! We still constantly get compliments on how gorgeous how our photos turned out and we cannot thank Zoe enough for her incredible work and for capturing images that we will cherish for the rest of our lives!!

Zoe stayed in constant communication throughout the engagement process. From the time we met to the time Zoe, Josh, and Jackie showed up on my daughter's wedding day, everything was handled in a professional manner. Zoe is very responsive to questions and always with a great answer to guide us forward. From the time Zoe, Josh, and Jackie arrived, they went about their work in such a seamless and respectful way. Family pictures were stress free and fun. Bridal party pictures were on time and the sneak peeks look great! Punctual, fun to work with (which you need in a photographer when times are stressful) and the guests said they weren't interrupted but knew the moments were being captured. Just an awesome photographer and crew!

We had Josh, one of Zoe's associates, photograph our wedding. He was WONDERFUL. He was so fun and lighthearted, and he kept me smiling and laughing and relaxed. Honestly, he was a big part of what made the tone of our wedding day so pleasant. Josh was great at directing us for poses. He went down the list of family photos quickly to keep things moving along. He had ideas in mind for where to take photos, but he was also fine when I came up with other ideas. Zoe was so easy to work with and VERY fast at responding to emails. Our photos turned out beautifully, and I love our album! Because Zoe asked for examples of what I liked before the wedding, I felt like she was willing to adapt to make sure we got what we wanted. Also, I felt like everything was reasonably priced, and my husband and I liked that we had the option of using an associate to lower costs. I definitely did NOT feel like we got less for our money because we used an associate photographer. The only negative comment I have is that Josh was 20 minutes late the day of because his phone died on the way. Other than that, I thought Josh and Zoe were wonderful to work with. I would absolutely recommend them. You will get beautiful photos, wonderful people who are easy to work with, and a very fair price.

During our day, she was polite and agile, capturing beautiful photos but not obstructing anyone's view or being in the way as I have seen some wedding photographers do. Most importantly, her pictures turned out beautifully! She did an incredible job helping us find the perfect formal poses and capturing the candid shots as well. I have had so many compliments on our photos so far! The only thing I would change is to advise that she be a bit more vocal/authoritative during group photo time. This may just be my wedding party and family but we had a hard time getting everyone organized for pictures and I (bride) ended up having to take the lead and get everyone in line. This is a minor thing and overall Zoe was incredible and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding photographer!
