ften find that many makeup artists struggle with getting the eye makeup just right, but Izzy listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond my expectations. I was genuinely thrilled with how everything turned out. My bridesmaids come from diverse backgrounds, and Izzy brought out the best in each of them, making everyone look beautiful. What sets Izzy apart is the effort she puts into understanding the bride's makeup needs, preferences, and vision during the makeup trial. She takes the time to learn exactly what you want, so you feel confident and prepared on the big day. Her attention to detail is impeccable, and she has a true talent for enhancing your natural beauty while still giving you that flawless, glamorous finish. Although I'm not usually big on makeup, Izzy made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. Her energy was amazing—keeping me calm while also hyping me up at the same time! We started getting ready around 8 a.m., and everyone's makeup stayed perfect all day and well into the night (until about 2 a.m.), even through all the happy tears and dancing. If you're looking for a talented, professional, and wonderful makeup artist for your big day, I can't recommend Izzy enough! She truly made me feel like the best version of myself!

. At our trial, she took the time to learn about my skin by feeling it out herself and asking me lots of questions. She made decisions for application and setting spray based on what she learned. The result was perfectly applied makeup for my wedding day that lasted 15 hours in 99 degree heat! She also listens to her clients and pays attention to what they ask for and adjusts to their preferences. For my wedding I wanted more natural looking makeup with minimal eye makeup - she listened and delivered! My makeup turned out exactly as I wanted it, and actually even better than I imagined. While she did an incredible job on my minimal makeup, she can also do stunning makeup that is more dramatic as well - she can do it all! She was incredibly responsive leading up to my wedding and communicated with me about how to prepare my skin for my wedding day. She followed up after my trial to see how my makeup held up. She was always on-time, prepared, and focused on doing a great job. She was so easy to work with! I can’t finish this review without talking about what a great person she is. Izzy is not just a professional and an artist, but she’s awesome. Getting to know her at my makeup trial was so much fun. She is also exactly the person you want to be around on your wedding day - she’s chill, fun, and works well with and around other vendors and the people you’re with while getting ready. Booking with ZZ Beauty was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding!

The ladies in my bridal party also had a broad range of skin tones so it was very important to me to find someone with the right knowledge to celebrate our natural looks. Izzy, along with her assistant Karma, nailed it and everyone looked stunning on the big day. A couple days before my wedding I thought I spotted the beginning of a breakout right in the middle of my forehead. I texted Izzy, freaking out, and she replied right away with helpful suggestions and really kind and compassionate reassurances. She reminded me that my inner glow is the true beauty (and that makeup can do wonders to hide any blemishes!). Thankfully all was well on the big day, but I will never forget how Izzy calmed me down and was there for me when the stress got real. From the start, Izzy was really easy to communicate with and flexible in everything from setting up my trial to working out the wedding timeline. She listened to all my concerns and knew exactly how to address them so my makeup laid flawlessly all day long. She was always sure to check in on how I was doing throughout the makeup application to ensure everything looked and felt right on me. My wedding makeup turned out truly stunning and exactly how I had hoped. The style was perfect and it stayed fresh through all 12 hours of smiling for photos ! m very pale to very dark and it was important to me to have someone I could trust to make all of us look good. Izzy was very receptive to constructive critiques during my engagement trial and redid my blush and lip color until I was 100% satisfied. On our wedding day, I could tell everyone felt comfortable with their makeup, from ones bridesmaid who doesn't normally wear makeup and opted for a very light natural look to me, who wanted a fuller glam. Before we left for the church, Izzy touched up everyone's makeup and made sure everything was perfect. In addition to being a very talented makeup artist, Izzy is also a delight to be around and spent almost 6 hours with us that day. I cannot recommend Izzy highly enough.

two trials because I wanted to try both classic and airbrush foundation. My only problem was BOTH trials looked absolutely stunning so it was difficult to pick a look :) She did my bridal makeup and 5 of my bridesmaids. She showed up even earlier than I did to the venue to setup everything to be ready to start on time. She stayed until every person was done and completed my touchups literally minutes before I walked down the aisle. I cannot say enough good things about her and this experience. I had other trials with different makeup artists and I am so happy I found and booked Izzy. If you want a flawless face on your wedding day, she is the one. I cried, I sweat all night, and not once did my makeup smudge. The definition of a 5 star vendor!
