Izzy is an absolute gem! She did my wedding day makeup, as well as the makeup for three of my bridesmaids, and everyone looked absolutely stunning! As someone of Asian descent, I often find that many makeup artists struggle with getting the eye makeup just right, but Izzy listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond my expectations. I was genuinely thrilled with how everything turned out. My bridesmaids come from diverse backgrounds, and Izzy brought out the best in each of them, making everyone look beautiful. What sets Izzy apart is the effort she puts into understanding the bride's makeup needs, preferences, and vision during the makeup trial. She takes the time to learn exactly what you want, so you feel confident and prepared on the big day. Her attention to detail is impeccable, and she has a true talent for enhancing your natural beauty while still giving you that flawless, glamorous finish. Although I'm not usually big on makeup, Izzy made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. Her energy was amazing—keeping me calm while also hyping me up at the same time! We started getting ready around 8 a.m., and everyone's makeup stayed perfect all day and well into the night (until about 2 a.m.), even through all the happy tears and dancing. If you're looking for a talented, professional, and wonderful makeup artist for your big day, I can't recommend Izzy enough! She truly made me feel like the best version of myself!

Okay where do I even begin?! Izzy did wedding day makeup on myself, my mom and 2 of my bridesmaids while her second artist Karma did makeup for my mother in law and 3 bridesmaids. They worked so well together and their communication with us and each other was top tier. Alsoo the vibes were so good! Izzy listened to my concerns regarding my tendency to crease in my smile lines and spoke to me about what her thoughts were for color choices before putting them on me which I appreciated. The makeup for everyone was FLAWLESS! We all got some many compliments all night. What we all loved most was that the makeup felt like skin but was still very bridal! Anddd it lasted so well. We started at 9:30am and wore our makeup past midnight! Creasing where?! I’ll post a pic of me and two of my girls from 12:30am Overall I only have good things to say about Izzy (and Karma) and 100% would recommend her for anyone looking for bridal services!

What can I say about this incredible artist Izzy! From day one she was fantastic to work with. We ended up doing 2 trials due to me being unsure about my first look (airbrush which was soft makeup and pink shadows) and poor Izzy got stuck with me wanting to do a completely different look for my 2nd trial (traditional, smoky eyes, champagne, fake lashes) then to top it off, I changed what I wanted on the actual wedding day (traditional, soft smoked brown matte eye with no lashes) You would think an artist would get frustrated by all the changes, but Izzy excitedly smiled and agreed that the new idea would look great! Boy was she right! She did a phenomenal job, was so much fun to work with, and made me feel so special and beautiful! I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with you Izzy! She also killed it for all my bridesmaids as well! I will be recommending you to everyone!!!

I HIGHLY recommend Izzy/ZZ Beauty! Izzy is a true artist and professional. She is extremely educated on make up and skincare and knows how to apply makeup to a diverse set of faces. At our trial, she took the time to learn about my skin by feeling it out herself and asking me lots of questions. She made decisions for application and setting spray based on what she learned. The result was perfectly applied makeup for my wedding day that lasted 15 hours in 99 degree heat! She also listens to her clients and pays attention to what they ask for and adjusts to their preferences. For my wedding I wanted more natural looking makeup with minimal eye makeup - she listened and delivered! My makeup turned out exactly as I wanted it, and actually even better than I imagined. While she did an incredible job on my minimal makeup, she can also do stunning makeup that is more dramatic as well - she can do it all! She was incredibly responsive leading up to my wedding and communicated with me about how to prepare my skin for my wedding day. She followed up after my trial to see how my makeup held up. She was always on-time, prepared, and focused on doing a great job. She was so easy to work with! I can’t finish this review without talking about what a great person she is. Izzy is not just a professional and an artist, but she’s awesome. Getting to know her at my makeup trial was so much fun. She is also exactly the person you want to be around on your wedding day - she’s chill, fun, and works well with and around other vendors and the people you’re with while getting ready. Booking with ZZ Beauty was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding!

Izzy is absolutely incredible. She is professional, communicative, and compassionate. Literally everything you need from a wedding vendor. She does everything she can to learn about the bride’s makeup needs, considerations, and wants during your makeup trial so you are all ready for the day of. Izzy was INCREDIBLE to work with and made me feel so amazing and beautiful both for my trial and wedding day! I sent her inspiration pictures and we talked about my areas on insecurity. During my trial, she explained everything she did and why, which taught me a lot about both makeup and skincare. She turned my areas of insecurity into things of the past and highlighted my favorite features. I typically don't wear a lot of makeup and my goal was to look natural, but to also be the most beautiful version of me that my husband would ever see. Izzy delivered and then some to say the least! On my wedding day Izzy remained on schedule while single-handedly making 8 women look and feel gorgeous. She also made herself available for touch-ups both at the getting-ready site and venue. I can't recommend Izzy and ZZ Beauty enough for PHENOMENAL results and professionalism from start to finish!

LADIES! You cannot recommend Izzy enough!!! I LOVED my make-up and each of my bridesmaids! Every interaction I had with her leading up to my big day was amazing! She was very thorough during my trial and day of this make sure all the shades matched my skin color and that I liked how it turned out. She even did the cutest sparkles for my flower girls and interacted so nice with them(they were both 5 years old). I only really had to touch up my lips throughout the night, everything else stayed pretty much the whole night. I seriously felt like a princess, PLEASE USE HER!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Izzy for my 10/14/23 wedding. She was professional, personable and so talented! She kept everything running on schedule and left everyone with a touch up kit (which we didn't need because everything stayed all night!) If you are looking for a multi-cultural makeup artist who uses products suitable for sensitive skin, she is a perfect match! Everyone looked so beautiful and the makeup lasted throughout the night (even through tears, dancing, and a rainstorm). I highly recommend!

Izzy came recommended to me by my hair stylist when I was at a loss of where to go. I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for or needed, but from the moment I started talking to Izzy, she guided me through everything. I even threw her a curveball and changed my wedding dress (and wedding dress color) in between my trial and wedding date, and she rolled with it and came back with the most gorgeous look day of my wedding. She’s communicative, flexible, kind, and comfortable to be around. She made me feel so relaxed on my wedding day and made me look and feel my best. I can’t recommend her enough!

Izzy is the absolute best! My makeup was flawless, she does exactly what you ask, explains everything she is doing, and is so communicative. My biggest fear is my face looking dry and my makeup not lasting the entire day and she could not have done better with the airbrush. I did not touch up my makeup the entire day and never had a dry appearance, she truly saved me after having a bad experience with my first makeup artist and booking her last minute.

I had a marvelous experience working with Izzy at ZZ Beauty for my wedding this summer and would highly recommend her for anyone out there looking for a MUA (especially for a wedding or other big event)! As a POC bride, I was really wary of finding makeup (and hair) stylists who were experienced with my skin tone, features, and hair texture. The ladies in my bridal party also had a broad range of skin tones so it was very important to me to find someone with the right knowledge to celebrate our natural looks. Izzy, along with her assistant Karma, nailed it and everyone looked stunning on the big day. A couple days before my wedding I thought I spotted the beginning of a breakout right in the middle of my forehead. I texted Izzy, freaking out, and she replied right away with helpful suggestions and really kind and compassionate reassurances. She reminded me that my inner glow is the true beauty (and that makeup can do wonders to hide any blemishes!). Thankfully all was well on the big day, but I will never forget how Izzy calmed me down and was there for me when the stress got real. From the start, Izzy was really easy to communicate with and flexible in everything from setting up my trial to working out the wedding timeline. She listened to all my concerns and knew exactly how to address them so my makeup laid flawlessly all day long. She was always sure to check in on how I was doing throughout the makeup application to ensure everything looked and felt right on me. My wedding makeup turned out truly stunning and exactly how I had hoped. The style was perfect and it stayed fresh through all 12 hours of smiling for photos ! Izzy was amazing! She did a great job on each person, was timely and efficient, and made the whole process fun. I even had a problem with my spray tan that she was able to fix perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to look flawless on their big day!

Izzy was Fantastic! She was kind and very flexible. She did a trial for myself and my mom. She did my hair and make up for my wedding shower. She made sure my make up for my trial was softer and different than my wedding. She travels and is easy to work with. She gives her professional opinion on what she believes will look amazing, but will always makes sure you feel comfortable with what you look like. She explains everything she’s doing. My make up for my face wedding looked amazing and held up all night. Though my wedding is over, anytime I need make up needs, I will be contacting Izzy. I absolutely recommend.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Izzy is seriously the most talented makeup artist I’ve ever met. She exceeded all of my expectations and I felt so beautiful for wedding day! My bridal party was also amazed by her talent. I only have amazing things to say about Izzy. I fell in love with her makeup and her instagram bride photos, but I chose her for the vibes! Izzy is funny and sarcastic and laid back. A few things went wrong on my wedding day but she kept me laughing and relaxed. When I saw my makeup I had to stop myself from crying before I ruined her *masterpiece*. She did exactly what I wanted - made me look just like myself but beautifully elevated. If she is not booked, book her! She is worth the money and more. Also, if you have a large bridal party, she (and her assistant) perfectly coordinated 15 people's makeup on the day of my wedding without losing steam.

I booked Izzy for our wedding because she was the ONLY bridal makeup artist that I found in Pittsburgh with a diversity of skintones in her portfolio. I had bridesmaids ranging from very pale to very dark and it was important to me to have someone I could trust to make all of us look good. Izzy was very receptive to constructive critiques during my engagement trial and redid my blush and lip color until I was 100% satisfied. On our wedding day, I could tell everyone felt comfortable with their makeup, from ones bridesmaid who doesn't normally wear makeup and opted for a very light natural look to me, who wanted a fuller glam. Before we left for the church, Izzy touched up everyone's makeup and made sure everything was perfect. In addition to being a very talented makeup artist, Izzy is also a delight to be around and spent almost 6 hours with us that day. I cannot recommend Izzy highly enough.

Being a deeper tone I was scared I couldn’t find anyone who worked with more diversity in my small Town but she really came through with the skills. I do not have enough room in this review to write all of the reasons you should book Izzy. From my first message to her, she was prompt and extremely professional. I actually did two trials because I wanted to try both classic and airbrush foundation. My only problem was BOTH trials looked absolutely stunning so it was difficult to pick a look :) She did my bridal makeup and 5 of my bridesmaids. She showed up even earlier than I did to the venue to setup everything to be ready to start on time. She stayed until every person was done and completed my touchups literally minutes before I walked down the aisle. I cannot say enough good things about her and this experience. I had other trials with different makeup artists and I am so happy I found and booked Izzy. If you want a flawless face on your wedding day, she is the one. I cried, I sweat all night, and not once did my makeup smudge. The definition of a 5 star vendor!

Izzy is absolutely AMAZING!! I was a COVID bride and Izzy handheld me throughout the entire process -- staying on top of guidelines and recommendations. She rescheduled me with absolutely no problem even let me do a second trial to make sure my vision hadn't changed. Izbeautypgh was so helpful! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding recently and I am not used to wearing makeup, so it was so a relief to have someone so reassuring and knowledgeable doing it for me. She explained each step of the way and her kind, calm aura was very relaxing. I almost fell asleep in the chair! She even helped me choose a lip color that worked with my skin tone (again, I have zero expertise here so this advice was much appreciated!).

This girl is amazing. I wish I had known about her before my wedding cuz I would have hired her without a second thought. Her skill level and creativity is mind blowing and she actually listens to what you want and prefer. I can’t recommend Izzy enough! Makeup artists that cater to all skin tones are hard to come by, and Izzy is among the best at what she does. It doesn’t hurt that she is also super sweet! I asked for something a little different for my big day, and she delivered. My husband said that I looked great, but still like me - which was exactly what I wanted! Izzy was not only very professional but incredibly fun and easy going throughout all the planning for my wedding. She made me feel very comfortable as she is so knowledgeable about make-up and different kinds of skin. My skin tends to be a bit oiler and she knew exactly what make-up to use and why it would be the best fit. I did two trials with Izzy - which was SO helpful because we found the exact right lip and foundation colors. I’ve been a bridesmaid multiple times for weddings where Izzy was the makeup artist and she always did the most amazing job! She worked with my skin (it’s super dry and red), she made sure I was comfortable with my looks, and she even comforted the bride during a difficult moment! When I was getting married, I was on the hunt for a makeup artist. I had reached out to artists that were recommended to me. Literally no one messaged me back. One day I decided to search a hashtag on Instagram, and I came across Izzy’s page. I had no idea who she was, but from what I could see her in pictures, her work looked amazing! I reached out to her and the rest is history! Izzy is all around the best make up artist that I’ve ever worked with. First and foremost, she does amazing work! I’ve never felt more beautiful than I felt on my wedding day. She worked with me and listened to my ideas and concerns and just made me look like a more polished version of myself. In addition to her make up skills, she is all around so professional. Iz was pregnant during the time I was getting married. She lined up a backup makeup artist to do my wedding makeup in case she wasn’t able to make it. She even arranged a trial makeup session with the backup artist so I’d feel comfortable on my wedding day, regardless of who was doing my make up! (I am proud to say Izzy was able to do it and then had her beautiful baby three days later)!! Also, Izzy was always punctual and communicated with me the whole time. From start to finish, working with Izzy was a breeze. Not only is she professional, but she is extremely down to earth and just has an overall calm vibe to her - which was so appreciated since I was an anxious bride! She did make up for myself, all of my bridesmaid, my mom, and my MIL. One of my bridesmaids like her work so much, she booked Izzy for her own wedding! Do yourself a favor and reach out to Izzy. She’s the real deal!!

I wouldn’t hire anyone else to do my make up for my wedding. Izzy listen to all of my concerns, was able to put me at ease, and address every single thing I asked her about. She also had a lot of women of different ethnicities and skin tones in her portfolio which is something I was looking for. Knowing she could do any face in front of her and make them look stunning was a huge plus. My make up held up through an entire day of all of the emotions. I think I CRIED cried about 10 times, was sweating because it was a hot day, had so many people kissing my face and rubbing up against me and you would’ve never known because of how nothing moved. Even after 15 hours of having my make up on it’s still looked as great as it did the minute she got done. Hire her, you won’t regret it in the slightest bit.

Izzy is amazing! From the initial interaction, to the final day of the actual event. I reached out hesitant because I am very picky about the types of looks I’m after, the products used, and overall someone who can work with multicultural complexions. She went above and beyond to cover the bases, asking me questions based on my skin type and asked me what look I was achieving and was honest about her own expectations. She communicated throughout the whole process. She stayed on site for my whole event to help make sure pictures turned out good which I appreciated because I never really worked with anyone who offered to do that. She maintains professional demeanor but makes you feel very comfortable and beautiful. I feel she’s one of the most versatile artists in the area and I recommend her to everyone, especially my family members who have darker complexions and often struggle to find artists who know how to properly blend their skin tones.
