Lauren was super easy to work with, she Brough my ideas to life. We did big oversized palms and white Lillies, the center pieces were breath taking and everything looked amazing together. Thank you!

AFA exceeded our expectations on our wedding day! We worked with the owner Dawn & she was very easy to talk to & saw our vision without even having to say much. I spoke with her several times over the phone & had one meeting with her at the studio in HHI about 2 months out. She drew us a beautiful sketch of our head table, which was a farm table seating 22 people. It had a garland down the middle, 2 large tall arrangements, and floating candles down the entire table. The floating candles were my FAVORITE accessory. I also requested fresh stocks of lavender on the tables & in my bouquet. I wasn't sure if it would be possible, but she got it all & it looked amazing. I had a "pipe & drape" wall hanging behind my husband & my's seat (to hide an ugly painting stuck on the wall) with a neon sign & hanging florals. I chose this option as it was more affordable than doing a floral wall. Dawn was great at communicating over the phone & adjusting options to meet our budget. Overall we enjoyed working with her & everyone complimented the table arrangements all night long!

We planned a wedding in Hilton Head from Chicago, during a pandemic. Not being able to see the flowers in person was stressful. But the communication was perfect. The flowers were better than I could have ever imagined. They were beautiful and fragrant. They lasted through a June beach wedding, outdoor reception and 2 days later still look nice as I drive home with my daughter’s bridal bouquet next to me. The centerpieces were perfect, and a great suggestion from the designer. Everything was beautiful.

They just did the flowers for my June 11th wedding. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and I could not have been happier with how they turned out and the different style table arrangements they created. Would highly recommend!

Dawn and her team from A Floral Affair were so amazing to work with! They blew our minds away with their gorgeous floral arrangements! I had a very particular vision for my wedding and Dawn truly made it come to life! They were so attentive to every little detail and it definitely showed. Dawn was very prompt with her responses and very patient with my ever-changing mind. She not only gave her own ideas, but listened to all of my ideas as well. I told her I wanted a "modern boho classy beach vibe" (yes I don't even know what that means lol) but she took it and ran with it!! Everyone commented how gorgeous all of our decorations, linens, and florals were, and we couldn't have been happier.

Very unprofessional when you meet the one florist in person. He kept cutting off my mother while she was talking, interrupting her with her ideas and questions. They never sent an estimate based on our conversation. Do not recommend, there are so many other companies in the area that truly listen to what you want, and help make your wedding florals come to life.

Sean with Afloral Affair is truly one of a kind! First of all I'd like to say that we found him after our initial florist choice in HHI basically told us we could no longer use them because they had just booked another wedding on our day, which was totally unexpected. Sean saved the day and said he would fit our wedding in despite having other weddings that day. He came highly recommended by our venue, The Westin in HHI, and if you just look at his website (https://www.afloralaffairhhi.com) he has so many beautiful pictures, I guarantee you will be able to find pictures of arrangements that are similar to what you're hoping to see at your own wedding. I felt so confident in working with him from the start because literally every wedding gallery he had on his website was beautiful, it's all about working with him from there so he can get and idea of your own style. As a florist, he is truly and artist and is so good at using your visions (even if you don't know much of what you want besides colors!) and making your floral arrangements so beautiful. He's so creative and had so many neat ideas for our wedding that I had never thought of. I honestly thought I was going to cry when I saw how beautiful our arch was at the ceremony, it was so much more than I was expecting. We chose to have the doors open in our reception space for more open air flow due to covid and Sean basically changed everything we were doing on a short timeframe before the wedding in terms of vases/flower height to make that work given wind could be a factor, and everything still looked better than I could have ever imagined! Lastly, Sean will work with you on budget! He's upfront and honest about costs from the start and will still make your wedding beautiful, no matter what your budget is. Everything in the wedding industry comes with a price and the quality we got with Afloral Affair for the price we paid was such a great value! I highly recommend Sean and Afloral Affair, they will make your vision com to life on your wedding day, even if you're not exactly sure you know what you want!

A Floral Affair did a phenomenal job creating the bouquets, center pieces, and boutonniere for our wedding. Sean was absolutely amazing to work with especially when dealing with postponing (due to covid). Everything turned out even better than I could have imagined!

Sean was amazing!! Due to Covid our destination wedding in May became an elopement in August. When I first met with Sean in February to discuss our flowers he was so friendly, I didn't feel like a client, I felt like we have been friends for years. He answered all of my questions and addressed every one of my concerns. He was very upfront about cost and making sure we stayed in my budget. Fast-forward to August, I call Sean the a few days before we have planned to elope. I told him I wanted something bright and pink. I sent him a couple ideas and what he created was everything I could have dreamed of and more. And for a very reasonable price. He went out of his way to make sure that at least I would have a perfect bouquet even if I wasn't getting my dream wedding. I could not have asked for a better experience.

We could not be happier about how our floral arrangements and designs turned out for our daughter’s wedding on November 3. A Floral Affair did a fantastic job with taking my daughter’s vision of what she wanted everything to look like and making it a reality. They are truly floral designers. We could not have been happier with the finished product.

My husband and I could not be more thrilled with how our flowers and decor came together on our wedding day. It was GORGEOUS. I trust A Floral Affair implicitly and am so impressed how they took our feedback and produced a product that exceeded our expectations. On top of that Dawn and Sean are absolutely fantastic to work with. Their enthusiasm and brilliant vision was such a pleasure to work with. We hands down recommend them to anyone looking for a florist, though they are so much more than that!

Wow, just wow. Dawn, Sean and team look my imagination and pumped it with candle lit steroids. This team knows what they are doing and blew all of our guests away. We had A Floral Affair create our bouquets, an arbor, flower crowns for our junior brides maids, and garland/centerpieces for our reception. Each element was prettier than the next and made everything feel so romantic. I was getting compliments from everyone about how beautiful the flowers looked!

DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR. There are so many better ones in Savannah! I’m a destination wedding bride and “met” with Dawn over the phone. She was so helpful and very kind, and I was so thankful I would be working with someone who seemed to know what they were doing. I received a quote out of my budget a few weeks later. I told Dawn I would like to meet with her in person when I came in to town. Instead, she set me up with Sean. Sean was extremely condescending towards me, my mother and my FMIL. He told me my idea of an all white wedding was boring and tried to make my wedding look like a club. I can’t believe someone would speak to a customer the way he spoke to me. We also asked if he did a military discount, since I serve and just came back from overseas, and he laughed in our faces.

I don’t even know where to start. Dawn, Shawn and the team at A Floral Affair literally blew us away. They put the cherry on top of our dream wedding. Everything was gorgeous! From my bridal bouquet (which was a glamorous cascading bouquet that made me feel like a princess), the bridesmaids bouquets, the corsages for our mothers, grandmother, other special family members, and the men’s boutonnieres to the ceremony decorations, table centerpieces, gift table arrangements, and the list goes on. Everything they provided was IMPECCABLE, the flowers were fresh and lasted for weeks afterward so that we could enjoy them even after the day was done. We were planning our wedding from a far but A Floral Affair made it easy to work with them and we were able to go back and forth until everything was exactly how we dreamed. I can’t more highly recommend working with Shawn and A Floral Affair. They are truly pros who will walk you through each step of the way with patience, plenty of amazing ideas/suggestions, and a pleasant attitude. We had a vision of what we were thinking for our wedding (simple, elegant, southern) and Dawn helped it come to life. We met with Dawn at her shop and she drew up sketches of some ideas with different Magnolia greenery, English roses and romantic candle displays along with a beautiful wedding arbor for the beach covered in flowers. We sent her a fabric swatch of the bridesmaids dresses and she worked off of that and my pinterest board to help create the finished product. She truly has an eye for what looks good and it is definitely an art. Her sketches came to life on the day of the wedding and everything was gorgeous... from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the little Magnolia greens she placed on each lantern we had lining the stairs. On a personal note she was very nice and in general a fun, professional person to work with! Highly recommend

They warned me from day one they weren't the best at responding so I was hesitant but after seeing my flowers I understood why! They had everything better than I ever tried to describe and exactly how I invisioned. Wouldn't of changed a thing and never expected things to be as perfect as they were!

I am very confused about these good reviews. I had a phone consultation scheduled with Dawn that she missed, she didn't respond about it until I reached out and asked what happened. After the consultation, she said she would give me a quote... it has been 6 weeks and I still haven't received a quote OR a response to my many follow up emails. I wasted almost 2 months of my wedding planning waiting on her. If you are a destination bride, DO NOT waste your time!

Dawn is an absolute delight to work with. She has an artists mind. It was so nice to sit down with someone, explain my vision, and be able to trust that she would make it happen. I visited the reception hall only once while she worked on the arrangements and centerpieces. My wedding flowers were perfect in every way.

Our flowers from A Floral Affair for our June 17th, 2017 wedding at the Sonesta Resort in Hilton Head were incredible. The owner of the shop, Dawn, met with us and really helped guide us to design the perfect bouquets. I know almost nothing about flowers, and Dawn was able to design the perfect flowers for my vision based on the colors of my wedding and a few pictures I showed her from Pinterest. We ordered flowers for the bridal party, as well as long stem roses for the reception tables. The shop also offers decorative plants of various styles, and we rented two of those for our ceremony. The flowers were delivered on time and were exactly what we had ordered. Highly recommended!

Dawn was amazing! Not only did she create incredible arrangements but she was the first vendor who truly understood my vision for the reception space and offered so many suggestions to make it come to life from linens to chairs and lighting. Meeting her in person and planning face to face is definitely the way to go - and I loved hanging out with her dogs in the shop.

Dawn was amazing to work with! I live up in NH and got married at The Sea Pines Resort and we did all of our consults over the phone and email. My bouquet came out just as I imagined it would be!

The flowers were gorgeous. The owner was very helpful, she knew what she was talking about when it came to flowers. she is very crafty and had great ideas to help my wedding dreams come to life. I had an all white bouquet with some cascading ivy and some long grasses spray painted gold. Looked so classy!

Very nice florals but the communication was a bit challenging. I would recommend this company, they were a bit pricy, because of the quality of flowers but the ability to communicate with them is hard. We had a destination wedding so our planning was all via phone and Email. dawn the owner was nice but was never on time for a call and didn't deliver flowers to the hotel on the wedding day as promised. They arrived but 30 minutes Late and instead of bringing the bouquets to the room as promised she dropped them At the front but didn't even call us. We had to call asking where they were.

I’m on the fence about this vendor. I LOVED my bouquet which was exquisite, beautiful and unique. And I felt it was reasonably priced too. However, the service level provided by the company was not what we expected. We had slow response times with emails and phone calls. They seemed disorganized and at one point about a month from the wedding I wasn’t sure we were locked in for our order. Granted, we started much bigger with the original planning session, but had to cut back due to other costs. I felt as though because we were not a large order we became an afterthought. I even received a call on the wedding day during my bridal luncheon “reminding me” to come pick up my flowers, which didn’t sit well with me since I had already paid for the delivery service. In the end, I had my bouquest and they photographed very well.

The Floral Affair did an amazing job with our wedding flowers. Everything was just absolutely gorgeous. More than we could have asked for !!!!! Dawn really listens to what her clients want and then she makes it happen. AWESOME!!!!

I cant say enough about Dawn and her staff. Guest are still talking about the flowers. Dawn did an amazing drapping and purple floral arrangements for my wedding at the Sonesta Shipyard Beach Club. The table centerpieces were beyond belief with purple water and floating purple lights submerged in ther water vases. She made my wedding go from10 to 10 million. Dont worry about your floral arrangementsnif you use A Floral Affair. Oh and best of all Dawn and staff are so much fun.

Very unprofessional! My mother and I sat down with Dawn for over an hour and 1/2. During that meeting, she also reassured us that if she were going to book the date or meet with any other couple, she would let us know well in advance before she even had the discussion. It then took her almost 1 month after that meeting to build us a quote. When she finally got back to us with a number, it was outrageous and almost as if she was confused with what we asked for and had added line items that we didn't even request. When responding to the quote within 1 week of its receipt, she had simply said that she had already booked the date with another couple. It was a huge waste of time - please don't make the same mistake we did!

Dawn was able to create amazing arrangements from a quick conversation with me. She knew exactly what I was looking for. My bouquet was the prettiest this I'd ever seen.

Dawn created beautiful bouquets and arrangements! She used magnolia leaves from Weston Farms (Raleigh, NC), which were a nod to our alma mater, and very flexible so that we could stay in budget. The results were warm and lush without being over the top-- exactly what we wanted! The flowers and candles complimented the open landscape during the wedding perfectly, and we were so happy with the results!

Dawn at A Floral Affairs did a fantastic job at turning our floral vision into a reality. After discussing what we wanted for our wedding, Dawn compiled a proposal with fantastic ideas. She understood that we wanted to get the most out of our florals, and designed pieces to be used in more than one area for the evening (ceremony flowers were moved to the reception tent; bridesmaid flowers were used as a centerpiece; rehearsal dinner flowers were used at the wedding reception, etc.). We put our full trust in Dawn, let her do what she wanted, and everything turned out beautiful!

Dawn and her team truly helped make my now husband and my dream wedding a reality. From the tiniest detail at the reception to the tablescapes to the most stunning bouquets you have ever seen, Dawn was focused on pulling together our vision of a perfect wedding and elevating it using not just flowers, but various other elements to give us something we never could have imagined. One of the most fun parts of the floral/design planning process was seeing how much Dawn clearly loves what she does. As my husband and I know nothing about flowers, it was really fun to listen to her go through all of the various flowers, colors, and textures that would become a part of our wedding and we ended up learning a few things from her in the process! She also was very understanding of our budget and willing to help us find ways to cut out "extra" items in our order to still give us the wedding we wanted without having to compromise. The flowers at the ceremony were exactly what we wanted, simple, yet stunning, and she accompanied them by starfish (an element we carried throughout the invitations, reception, etc) in a really subtle way. The bouquets and boutonnieres were beautiful, pulled from local natural elements, and most importantly, lasted the entire evening! Dawn and her team also hung cafe lighting and japanese lanterns in the reception hall to accompany the gorgeous tablescapes to give us that perfect "beach chic" feel. What we are trying to say here is, Dawn and her team did an unbelievable job from start to finish. They even stayed to watch the ceremony - this is a group that takes pride in their work. We cannot thank them enough! Would highly highly recommend!!

I really expected more from this vendor. There were a lot of miscommunication and towards the end there were a few stuff missed. Their arrangements were overall beautiful and the flowers were arranged as I wanted them.

Our wedding flowers and arrangements were simply stunning. I only had to describe the look I was going for and A Floral Affair brought my thoughts to life! They also provided us with cafe lighting at our outdoor reception and a wedding arch on the beach for our ceremony. Everything was stunning and I would highly recommend A Floral Affair.

Dawn was awesome to work with and made my Blingy Beach wedding at the Westin absolutely beautiful.. All my guests kept saying that it was the most beautiful ceremony with the decor that they had ever been too!

A Floral Affair is amazing. Dawn met with us several times to discuss decor and helped us figure out ways to cut costs. We had 3 different but beautiful centerpiece options on 12 tables. The did a magnificent petal display down the aisle that all guests marveled over.

Decided on using flowers last minute and they were very coporetive and the quality was outstanding.

She let me come in and see my flowers the week of the wedding, and was super flexible and accomidating with everything I wanted, while being respectful of our budget. The flowers were stunning! Somehow she found me out of season peonies for my October wedding! she was also able to incorporate my vintage books that I wanted to use, they were interesting and cool. When I didn't love the size of my bouquet, she was able to make it bigger so I had a HUGE bouquet of pink and white peonies which made for simply gorgeous photos. The flowers truly were the highlight of my wedding.
