We are Jared and Alecia Lane, the husband and wife duo behind A.Lane Photography. Photography is more than our business; it is our passion. Kansas City is our home, but we would love to travel worldwide to capture your special day! We want to get to know you as a couple and capture YOUR love story, not just a Pinterest prototype. Your personalities will take center stage in your photos, as we move seamlessly together to get the perfect shot. Along with photographing your love, we want to get to know you. Our aim is that you are comfortable around us, that we know your expectations, and will capture those precious moments. We are passionate about love and long to make memories that will last a lifetime!

We received beautiful sneak peaks the week of our sessions and the final photos in a short amount of time, considering all the hard work that goes into editing. For starters, my husband and I were part of the COVID wedding bunch so we had to postpone our wedding in 2020 to 2021. Alecia couldn't have made it more simple. ...
I sent her an email and had no issues pushing our date. She was so understanding.
A couple of weeks before our wedding, Alecia wanted to meet with us to discuss timelines of everything and walk through what the day would look like. We had a traditional Vietnamese wedding that included a tea ceremony morning of, a full length Catholic wedding ceremony, and reception. They were with us for about 14 hours and followed us to about 5 locations all over Kansas City to capture everything. They were so attentive in capturing all the details that were happening and were a step ahead of us throughout the day. I didn't need to direct them or guide them on what to do. Even with so much going on and Alecia being pregnant (that didn't stop her), she and Jared made sure that my husband and I were doing okay and always double checked that we ate/drank. They were so thoughtful. Jared was hilarious and definitely made sure you cracked a smile throughout the day.
I would recommend Alecia to anyone and she and her husband were by far the easiest and favorite vendor of our special day to work with.

Alecia and her husband were awesome! We hired them for engagement pictures and for day of wedding photos and it was wonderful experience both times. She was extremely helpful with getting my day of timeline together and even offered to help us find vendors early in the process of wedding planning. I appreciated them most on the day of my wedding when I had a very sick groom. They made sure he got through our ceremony before I found out about it and kept calm and cool with getting us through the group photos. They are extremely professional and amazing at what they do. I look at my pictures a year later and I am still in awe of how they turned out.
All this to say you should book with them. Do not hesitate. They are more than worth the money.

The actual day felt very relaxed. Alecia and Jared have a very chill vibe and helped to keep things running smoothly. They divided and conquered when taking photos - making things move twice as fast! Even though things moved quickly, we never felt rushed and enjoyed the whole process.
