At first, I wasn't planning on having a videographer, but after talking to my married friends, they said having one was one of the best decisions they made because the videographers captures things you miss (like the other person arriving to the church, etc) or things you forget happened. So as overwhelming as it was, I started looking. I came across Chris Fig on wedding boards and they had great reviews, a great price (it was insane how much some videographers were asking), and would provide what I was looking for - an edited long video and a photo recap (vs just a 5-10 min video recap + hrs of unedited footage like some others). I decided to go with Chris Fig and couldn't have been happier with my decision. They were prompt and courteous on email and phone responses and very professional and reassuring. James, our videographer, James, called before the big day to introduce himself. He was such a pleasure to work with and knew what he was doing and actually seemed like he wanted to be there to get great footage. After the wedding, they were super patient with me. They had asked me to provide the songs I wanted to use in the video and photos for the photo recap. It literally took me ~7 months to get to them and they were so nice when gently reminding me. Then after I finally gave them what they needed, the turnaround time was quick. We received our video and it was wonderful. They did an outstanding job and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

We loved everything about our experience with Chris Fig productions. They were very organised and professional in the lead up to the wedding day which made the pre-wedding scheduling so much easier. On the day of the wedding our videographer James showed up and was very professional and friendly. The one thing I worried about a videographer was that they would be obtrusive and "in your face" the whole time. This was not the case with Chris Fig productions and James. He was very discreet - no big lights and microphones. You barely noticed him there. He did some interviews with me and the groom but they were short and sweet and well timed. He was the perfect videographer. We then received the actual video quite quickly after the wedding which was a pleasant surprise. The video was excellent! The quality was fantastic and the content was everything we could have asked for in memorialising our special day. Thanks Chris Fig and James!

We were terrified of hiring a videographer, and my fiance was actually against it. But I really wanted a filmed record of our wedding. I work with digital video and even our director at work told me he had his wedding filmed with the hopes that he could show his kids one day. From the first meeting, Chris was terrific, prompt, and an excellent communicator. He showed sample videos, answered questions, and provided an excellent set of very budget-friendly packages. When James was assigned as our videographer, we met to discuss our wedding theme. He was really excited for us and super friendly. We felt great about his attitude and level of professionalism. On our wedding day he showed up on time, with a big smile and immediately became engaging with all of the bridesmaids, moms, aunts, and makeup artists in my hotel suite. It was a great day. He drove my groom out to our farm for first look photography and had him sit in his car in full A/C to calm his nerves and prevent him from overheating. He really made us laugh a lot, which was a huge help. We were so stressed out and nervous about our ceremony. It put us in a better place. During the reception James was great about asking us how we felt (even if I wasn't ready to give a good sound bite half the time due to 9000 people asking me questions) and not being obtrusive in the slightest. He was friendly and helpful and fun. Everyone loved him. Now that the wedding is over we can't wait to see more quality work like the samples we've been shown all along. The documentary style is definitely more our speed, NOT the cheesy wedding video of banquet halls and soft focus. They also ask you to provide the music you like for the video, so you won't be stuck with something that gives you hives for years to come.

On the wedding day, everyone was so impressed with how sweet and patient and hard working they were! I am not one to write reviews but I am so happy with Chris Fig Productions that I was compelled. I can go on and on about how professional they are, how we barely noticed them at the wedding and how well they worked with our other vendors. The real story is what they captured from the day. I am six months removed from the wedding and watching the video takes me back to day and I get to experience all the highs again. They did a great job capturing all of my guests and getting the funny moments and the touching moments. Chris Fig Productions is a great deal and I am very happy with the work that they did.

While I have not gotten the actual video yet, you can go online and see some of his work. I liked that Chris was not sales-y, and when I met him did not try and sell me on anything I didn't want. Dealing with the vendors is just as important as the product. He was very quick, responsive and I didn't even realize he was there the day of! I would definitely recommend

I cannot recommend Chris Fig Productions enough! Chris was the consummate professional, and I have 100% confidence that he captured our wedding day beautifully. From the very start of working with him, I had no doubt that Chris was the one to use. I met with him in his studio a year before the wedding, and Chris ran through several options of video packages, and every option was incredible. He never tried to push the most expensive package on me at ALL, but his work was so fantastic that I couldn;t resist signing up for the biggest one! Chris also spent time with me asking about my fiance, what we were looking for, the type of event and location, etc. As the event drew closer, Chris was in constant touch with he regarding songs we would like on the video, pictures we would like shown, and the timing and flow of the event. On the day of, Chris showed up right on time, and I cannot express how calm and kind his demanor was--he put me right at ease, and I was happy to have him record the most intimate moments as I was getting ready. He was unobstrusive and never in the way, yet he made sure to capture every moment. Throughout the ceremony, I was never aware of his presence, but he was there in the background getting every detail. Even during the formal photos, Chris was there, shooting away, and then switched over to the cocktail hour where he captured our guests enjoying themselves. The reception was one big party--the kind of party where it's hard to keep track of the action--and Chris was there through it all, yet never in the way. I really cannot express how wonderul it was to work with Chris, and I would recommend Chris Fig Productions to anyone!!

Let me tell you, if you want to hire someone who really listens to you, hire Chris Fig. I met Chris first and the James, since Chris was busy on the day of my wedding September 1st, 2012 at the Harvard Club. He offered services of his partner James. We had a separate meeting with James, he was so personable and that's what I loved about this guy. What I value the most is that James was unnoticeable, he just did his job. Also, I e-mailed Chris many times, he always replied to me on time, great follow ups. it is very important for me, so I really value that. It is a great team, great prices and very very professional. I am sure if I need video services anytime soon; I will hire Chris Fig with no doubt. I really recommend. A.M.

I honestly can not say enough good things about Chris and the service he provided us with. First of all..we had a destination wedding and changed the location the day before the wedding and he received the message and was there on time (which I was not). I know we ran over on our time and he was ver patient with us. He even assisted with our photography (helping our photographer which was a friend of ours ..pair us up for pics). You could definitely tell he was a professional and knew what he was doing. He was also so respectful of her being there and taking pics which was so nice of him. He was great from beginning to end and the product was beautiful. He caught each and every moment perfectly. I am so happy we decided to include videography in our budget and I am more excited that we chose Chris.

Chris did an amazing job capturing the events of our day... making for a wonderful movie to enjoy forever! He was very easy to work with and worked well will our photographers. We knew he was there because he made sure he got all the best footage however; he did so in such an unobtrusive way. We absolutely love our wedding video and really appreciated how Chris went above and beyond to get it to us before we left for our Italy honeymoon in order to share with relatives!

When my husband and I met with Chris and James one of his videographers in their beautiful studio in NYC, we knew after only a few moments we would be booking with them. Chris was extremely professional and accommodating, which accommodation as any bride would agree is key! Chris had another wedding to shoot on our wedding day so he set us up with James. Our experience with Chris & Co from beginning to end was seamless! The communications, preparation leading up to the wedding day and the actual day were spot on! The two videographers were really amazing, very friendly and discrete. The video was beyond expectation and Chris even fit in a last minute edit! We can't thank them enough!!

I can't say one bad thing about our experience with Chris. As the bride, I was adament about getting a videographer while my soon to be husband was very skeptical. When we met Chris, he was so nice and understanding of what we wanted that I had my fiance convinced. We didn't even need to see anyone else, we signed with Chris right then. From that day, he was a complete professional in all interactions with him, following through on everything he said he was going to do. On our wedding day he was quiet and stayed out of the way (like we asked) and yet succeed in capturing every moment of our day. He was the perfect wedding videographer in our opinion. Chris was our wedding videographer, and we highly recommend him! He was wonderful - from the first meeting until receiving the final package. If you are looking for high quality and a wedding dvd which will capture every memory and intricate detail from your day- use Chris! We had a very small and intimate wedding in Central Park and even with a small amount of people we didn't notice Chris being there. He was extremely unobtrusive, yet managed to capture the small, important details from our ceremony and he was also very patient. The final wedding dvd exceeded our expectations and will be a memory that we will treasure forever. We would 100% recommend Chris- an excellent videographer and a lovely man.

I had booked Chris Fig but never met him, didn't even see a picture of him. So I didn't know who I was looking for. But he showed up at the right time, he asked all the right questions, and he began filming. We have not seen a finished product yet, as it takes 8-10 weeks - but just having him there and he was super friendly. like most people tell you, you won't even know he's there!

I debated whether or not to even get a videographer, but I decided to do it and I'm happy I did. You won't get to see everything that happens on your wedding day, and the day flies by. My son and daughter-in-law hired Chris for their wedding this past January. My daughter-in-law was very specific with Chris as to what she wanted from him in writing, in phone conversations and in the contract that Chris drew up. Instead, Chris took our family tragedy of finding out that my son has a rare cancer and that we were planning a wedding in 4 weeks to take it upon himself to do what he liked and how he liked. He was told specifically that this was a video of my son. Instead he shot most of the guests, then some bridal party, my husband and I and our children and least of all the bride and groom. He is upset that we are giving our true opinions about our experience with him and he decided not to only threaten my daughter-in-law with posting her video everywhere (which was mutually agreed by both that it would never be shown with her express permission). Why would a compassionate and kind and professional person do that? He is putting the face of someone with cancer out there in the public. Is this the kind of vendor your looking for? With his packages you all will get a link to your wedding video which is included and according to Chris via email, it will be up indefinitely. Because our family is rating him not to what he wants, he removed it the link and it is no longer there. In addition, during the edit process he did not line up the songs with the people signing and we did not notice this until we said everything was fine and saw the raw uncut version. Watching the raw uncut version we saw a ton of edit mistakes which he is refusing to fix and the video which should be mostly of my son, is rarely of my son. He would show my son and daughter-in-law dancing and signing to one another in such a romantic way and then pan the video onto everyone else. Why would someone do that, if you were told that you wanted to be able to view this tape one day when your husband or son is not around so you can only see him? Very disappointed! Its a day we cannot get back and memories that have ruined.

I hired Chris for my January 2, 2011 wedding. I planned a wedding in 4 weeks due to my husband being diangosed with a rare and incurable cancer. I gave Chris a background on my situation and how important this day was for me to be able to know when my husband will no longer be with me, that I can look back and see him. I asked him in writing to video tape mostly my husband. When I received the uncut version, I was extremely angry!! He would videotape us dancing and my husband singing to me, and then right in the middle he would pan the camera onto someone else. He did this throughout the night. Every shot of us dancing would be 30seconds and then it would move to our guests. In the edited version he showed a sweet moment of us sitting at our table and whispering to each other..it was about 10seconds, but in the uncut version, it was a good minute. Why was that not in there? I also told him not to videotape a certain person and Chris put that in the Contract that we signed and gues what??? That person was all in the video. Chris' response, well when something is going on, we will videotape it and when someone says something before a wedding they do not usually mean it. If I did not mean it, then why would I have signed to it and had it in writing. Now, when I look back at this day, it is full of my guests and friends and barely of my husband. How is this supposed to be a reminder of a special day of a person who may not be around much longer? Chris did not care about my requests in writing, on the contract or even verbally at the wedding. I pulled him aside and asked that he not have a particular uninvited guest in my video and for the last 50min of the reception, he never communicated as my photographer and DJ did for me to move so that this "guest" would not be in any of the shots. He continued to videotape at an angle to make this "guest" prevalent in every part of my video. This was a video that he created for himself and as per his liking and wants. He never cared about our situation or what we wanted. It did not matter that it was all spoken of before the wedding of exactly how I wanted the video to be. This was a waste of money, and a day that I can never get back that he took from me. He was not even remorseful, until after several angry phone calls did he try to attempt to apologize.

My husband and I used Chris Fig Productions to document our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier with his work. We were recommended to Chris by our photographer; it turned out that we were more pleased with Chris' work and professionalism than our photographer's. You hardly noticed that Chris was even at the wedding, yet somehow he managed to capture all moments of the wedding in a fun, beautiful, and tasteful manner. Chris was easily our favorite vendor that we used for our wedding. Not only was Chris professional and discrete on the day of our wedding, he was so accommodating during the editing process in the days following the wedding. The finished product of his work was terrific; we could not be more pleased. Most vendors treat customers like a number, or just another customer; Chris treats you like a person, and is excited for you on your wedding day. We were so very happy with our choice of Chris Fig Productions. We saw several wedding videographers who were much more expensive, but we preferred Chris' product. Chris Fig was a great wedding vendor for our wedding video. We recently got our DVD's in the mail and watched our video. We were more than pleased with the finished product! Chris captured all of our favorite wedding memories for us to treasure and watch again and again. Additionally, Chris and his assistant were in the background and not in our faces during the reception. In fact, we didnt even realize they were there! Chris and his assistant were professional and great to work with.

My husband and I got married 5/29/10 and used Chris Fig Productions for our wedding video/documentary. Chris was a pleasure to work with from the first meeting. I loved the look of his sample videos and he was easy to talk to and get along with, which is important since youspend a lot of time with your videographer. On the wedding day he was so unobtrusive, we barely noticed him there, but when we got the video back, it seemed he was everywhere because he caught everything. I am extremely picky and even I was completely satisfied with the end product. I originally didn't think we needed a video at all, but luckily my husband talked me into it because it's a wonderful keepsake. Our video was beautifully shot and wonderfully edited. I couldn't be happier with it. After looking at a lot of other vendors, I also thought it was a good value.

Chris Fig Productions was our wedding videographer and we were not only impressed with the quality of our video but his professionalism was remarkable.

We hired Chris Figueroa after interviwing several other videographers. We wanted someone who would shoot video in a professional and pleasant manner and not get in the way on our special day. We wanted someone who would shoot more candid/unobtrusive/photojournalism type video. Chris did all of that along with keeping to the schedule that we had set up (including shooting at 3 seperate locations).

My wife and I would both highly recommend Chris for anyone's wedding! He was beyond our expectations. Everything from the initial meeting through the ceremony went very smoothly. The video turned out amazing. He seems to capture every moment perfectly, even little conversations with family members or friends throughout the night. How one person could seemingly be everywhere is a mystery to me but he was! He completed blended into the scene too. The only time that I remember seeing Chris was when I had a wardrobe malfunction with my tie and he stepped out of the shadows to help me to fix and then disappeared back into the scenery to finish his work. I give Chris the highest marks of all of our other vendors (and the others were good too but he was great). This one is a no brainer, you will be very happy!

I did not pick up my video yet. I will in about a month. However, the company was professional, unobtrusive, I did not know they were there. The company is very nice also. I can't wait to see the final product
