Ashley at Flourishing Penguin was meticulous, timely and completely reliable for all our paper product needs for our wedding (save the dates, invitations, programs, master seating sign, escort cards, table signage). She personalizes everything with the most unique designs using her art studio background and was a vendor I never had to worry about. Ashley was AMAZING to work with! She made the process so much fun. Through working with her on the save the dates, invites, and day-of paper - she helped me create a vision for the entire wedding. Because of her experience in the wedding industry, she was able to help me with more than just invites - she pushed me to think out of the box! LOVE Flourishing Penguin and Ashley! Ashley created the most beautiful invitations for our wedding. After telling her what type of invitation I was looking for, she brought us so many creative and wonderful options. I knew I wanted a traditional and classic invitation, but also wanted something to make it distinct and personal. She painted the most stunning watercolor that we used as the liner – it made such a statement. She also created our custom monogram that was the main image used throughout the wedding. I was/am obsessed! She was so gracious and met with us to go over different styles, paper weights, and color combination. Everything was perfect, from the first call to picking up the invitations in these beautiful boxes! The invitation is the first thing guests receive and it sets the tone for the wedding; Ashley perfectly captured ours and we still have guests talking about our invitation.

When I began the wedding planning process, I truly believed that invitations and the other paper items were the lowest priority of my focus and concern. Ashley changed all of this for me. She created designs and layouts I legitimately had only dreamt of and could barely describe. She challenged me to step outside of just doing all white and black and brought in color and pattern that truly tied my wedding theme together. Additionally, she did this all for a really excellent cost considering everything we ended up with was custom. We received an incredible number of compliments on our save the dates, wedding invitations, and anything else Ashley produced. In addition to her amazing work ethic and product, she is just such a kind person. I always looked forward to her emails and calls because she showed she truly valued my thoughts and wanted to honor what I wanted, which made the process feel so special. I felt with other vendors we interviewed that they had a vision for my wedding but they weren’t always concerned with my thoughts. Hiring Ashley is one of the best things we did for my wedding and you will not regret it if you do too!

I wish I could give Ashley more than five stars! I have worked with her as a wedding planner on countless client projects and she always delivers a high quality custom product. I worked with Ashley most recently for my own wedding and she designed every printed detail from our save-the-dates to our menus and everything in between. She has such a great eye for style, helped us to come up with various options for various price levels and created the most beautiful custom printed items. We absolutely loved all of the paper products created by Ashley at Flourishing Penguin for our wedding. She designed our save the dates, invitations, wedding signage (welcome sign, specialty cocktail sign, dessert table sign, photobooth sign, programs, menus, etc.) and she even did custom artwork for a guestbook and our ring bearer's sunglasses. We received so many compliments about our invitations from our family and friends! Ashley is really easy to work with and very organized. She has a great eye for design and will make you wedding more personal than if you use Minted or a site on your own. Ashley is also very well connected in the wedding industry and knows a lot about how to create a beautiful, meaningful paper products for your wedding. We loved Ashley and our paper products!
