Michael is an exceptional chef and person. Throughout our wedding experience with him, we were able to tap into his wealth of knowledge for our catering and overall wedding planning . He worked with us to curate a menu of some of our favorite foods and his specialties - essentially though he can do whatever you want! We even had affogato station for dessert which I thought would be a logistical nightmare for a backyard wedding but Michael executed with ease! I’m vegetarian and my husband is not. We had a mix of guests and Michael was carful to accommodate everyone, including our friend with a severe pepper allergy.
We decided on both passed and stationary h’ordures plus family style dinner and it was beautiful and delicious. We also used Michael’s team for our bartending and they were great! We had no crazy lines for dinks.
Would recommend Michael for his for chef skills of course, but also just his general vibe and ease of working with.
My new husband is a chef and I refused to let him be in the kitchen on our big day so he could relax. And naturally, the food was one of the most important things of our event, so I knew finding a caterer would be a challenge. Most caterers were either very generic or much too expensive. I almost can't believe we were lucky enough to find Michael! We spoke with him early on and hashed out a rough idea of what we wanted, including a make your own pulled pork taco station. He not only accommodated our requests, but loved our ideas! Several months later we had a tasting at his shop, and it was amazing! The husband made some slight tweaks on a few things, which was fine with Michael. On the day of, the food was mind blowing - just what we wanted and hoped it would be like. Our guests were raving at cocktail hour and all I had to say was "wait until you get to dinner!"
His staff was a well-oiled machine. They were professional, nice, dealt with all our requests, brought me food while I had my dress bustled, and made sure my wine glass was full. When we ran low on wine, they checked in with us and then sent someone out to get more. I couldn't have asked for more! They were the best and worth every cent.

His philosophy is that cooking is an art, imitative as well as creative, and more play than work. Michael believes that a recipe is not a rigid formula but a guide to respect and experiment with results in both familiar and exotic dishes and delightfully satisfying.
