e thought our dancing couldn't start - Kevin was there with a setup that bumped music even when the entire town was without power! We passed along all the songs we wanted to play and Kevin didn't miss a beat! He tailored the music perfectly to our guests, and when I say we never stopped dancing... we NEVER stopped dancing. At least 85% of our guests were on the dance floor the whole night! We had considered early on asking a friend to be our DJ, make a Spotify list, hook it up to some speakers, and all would be good. Thankfully our wedding coordinator talked us out of that. The logistics, gear, setup, experience and skill needed to MC a wedding and keep a party going can only be done by a seasoned DJ. We are so grateful we hired Alpha Entertainment - we HIGHLY recommend them!

that! I am shocked that he has ever DJ’d before. He messed up every single thing he was tasked with (which wasn’t a lot) for our wedding. He never read emails or absorbed what the emails said because he would send me emails saying things like “hey I don’t have a first dance song” and I’d tell him I sent this to him a month ago. He asked me to call him the night before our wedding because he was confused. WHY WAIT UNTIL THE NIGHT BEFORE?! I told him I was busy going to my welcome party! He did not play the recessional music that was supposed to play after the ceremony so we stood at the altar awkwardly waiting for the music to start. He was supposed to introduce us at the reception and say “and now for the first time as husband and wife, Michael and Kendall” but he just said “and now for the first time, Michael and Kendall” but we’ve been Michael and Kendall together for 7 years so that wasn’t it. We paid for “lighting” but that was a scam. He didn’t even set up a single light and left the venue lights on all night like it was a middle school dance. Also his music choices were terrible. Rap songs songs that literally not a single person knew. At that point I told him to stick to the playlist I had made, to which he complained the playlist wasn’t long enough to last through the night which is funny because he made me cut down the playlist!! For the father/daughter and mother/son dances, he did not adjust or fade out after a minute or so like we requested so we danced painfully with our parents for entire long, slow songs. He was truly awful. Luckily we had amazing guests so we all just rolled with it and had fun. But you should run as fast as you can away from DJ Alpha!!
