It was an all around wonderful experience! There was so many dresses of all different styles to choose from. I sent an inspo pick and the woman with me got to pick out a few of their own for me to try. The house is so welcoming and nice. Lexie let me try as many dresses on as I liked until I found the one! My dress was a great price and I was able to take it home the same day. 100% worth the drive from Anchorage. I’m definitely recommending this place.

The Arctic Rose was absolutely beautiful. A cute little shop run from the owner home. I loved the vibe better than any dress shop I’d been to. I was able to try on multiple beautiful dresses they had picked out for me. I was so beyond happy to find my dress on the first visit.

I found a beautiful dress at Arctic Rose Bridal Salon and I'll be doing all my measurements on Monday to order my dress. Diane has truly been wonderful and I recommend this Bridal Salon to anyone! She has so many dresses to choose from and gave me several options to make me feel truly like a bride.

I unfortunately did not find my perfect wedding gown with Diane at Arctic Rose but I wish I had! She was wonderful. Set aside time for me and my girls to really pay attention to us. She pulled WONDERFUL dresses for me, and my mother was devastated I didn't choose one of them :P. I did end up ordering my bridesmaid dresses through her and they were here and PERFECT. She did all the corresponding with the company for me, and made sure all the changes I was making were correct. There was a small problem the rushed shipping but she cleared it up and reimbursed me for the cost.

I got a great dress at a great price at Arctic Rose. I went in the fall so things were on sale to get ready for new stock in the new year. I showed the lady a few pictures and she asked me a few questions and picked out several dresses that I liked - I ended up buying the 4th dress I tried on and we were there less than 2 hours! I stayed right in my budget as well.

I had a wonderful time at this bridal shop. I was accommodated to and Diane listened to everything I wanted and didn't want in a dress. I highly recommend this place!

After trying to find something at the Anchorage dress stores, we made the drive to Wasilla to meet with Diane. She has converted her garage to a personal and cozy dress shop, complete with a large changing room, sitting area for the bride's friends and family and fabulous "tada!" french doors connecting the two. Diane has been in the business for 30 years and was able to take the hazy ideas I had over the phone and have 6 dresses ready for me, all within my price range. When the perfect dress wasn't available in my size in time for the wedding, she helped me create a custom order that would be even better and on time. Diane is wonderful, knowledgeable and kind. What more could you ask for in a wedding dress shop! For alterations, follow Diane's recommendation and go to Marilyn, she did amazing things with my dress and made it better than I could imagine for far less than I expected to pay.

I drove out to Wasilla from Anchorage to try on dresses. I am a plus size bride and they had 20-30 different dresses for me to try on, as apposed to Anderson's 1-2. I purchased my dress through Artic Rose and was very happy with the service.

I loved my dress and knew what I wanted. The only store in AK that had it was the Arctic Rose. They were very attentive and helpful my first visit and when I tried on the dress and bought it. However after that, they never called me to tell me my dress was in. They ordered it in the wrong length and blamed it on me. The new size came in well in time but again, they didn't call me to let me know. I had to call them to find out it had arrived. I absolutely loved my dress but overall I did not like the service I received there.

this place does have what you expect, special events attire. as for the whole "dress trying on" experience, SKIP THIS PLACE!! they take you into a back room closet with a shower curtain for your dressing room...sooo awkward. especially if you are like me, and don't want your future mother in law, or anyone you bring with you, to SEE YOU CHANGING! they get two stars though, because the staff is SOOOOOO NIIICE!!
