complications, we were told we had a High Risk Pregnancy. Our due date is about 3 weeks from our wedding date. The doctor told us she would not allow us to travel that close to the due date, especially being a high risk pregnancy. I immediately contacted this vendor and explained our situation and they WOULD NOT refund any of our deposits. We completely understand nonrefundable deposits. HOWEVER, one would think that in a "rare" situation like ours, there could be an exception made. This is causing us a huge financial burden. We are trying to pay for our medical bills, plus save for the baby, and try and some how have a small wedding. I forgot to mention..we live in MICHIGAN. My fiancé is a police officer and works extremely hard to help us, but this is just causing a huge issue. I am extremely shocked and disappointed in the service of this company and their lack of understanding in a situation like this. I have checked and BOTH beach houses have already been rented out for the time we had so there is no lost money there. Its unbelievable. We have also tried several times now to contact the manager over the last two weeks, with no returned phone calls. This was our dream wedding and now its turned into nothing but a nightmare. We didn't want to cancel, unfortunately the baby was unexpected and we have no choice. Please stay away from this place!!!! You never know what unexpected life event you may have happen and they are not understanding at all!

rent it) from Friday afternoon until Monday morning and it couldn't have been more perfect. We were able to sleep my parents, his parents, the entire wedding party with their significant others and a few out-of-towners. The rooms are updated with cute Key's style decor and very tidy. There's a bar in the center of the beach-themed courtyard that we stocked ourselves and hired two bartenders who worked only on tips. Right next to this tiki style bar (that is huge) is a heated pool which the wedding party and I enjoyed as the evening started to wind down. The ambiance was terrific and many of my guests said it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. The Grove provided tables and chairs to set up for dinner so we didn't have to rent any and they also have an area for the caterers to bring in their equipment. There are also washers and driers on-site if you need to fluff your linens. This was the greatest spot for our casual style wedding. The atmosphere was laid-back and just plain fun. None of us wanted to leave when Monday morning came! Brides, if you want to have your wedding reception at your own pace, this is the place to be. There's no time limits, no rush and the best part is that you can just walk straight to your room after the party ends. I plan on going back there for my 10th Anniversary; it was that spectacular.
