Hi there! My name is Rev. Cynthia Andrews-Looper. I have been in ordained ministry since 1993. I have officiated over 525 weddings. I perform religious, non-religious and non-denominations ceremonies. My passion is creating a ceremony that truly represents the shared love of two unique individuals. In 2019, I became a Certified Wedding Planner, which allows me to offer a wide range of services to couples. In addition to officiating wedding ceremonies, I also offer services from wedding planning (1 year or 6 months out) to coordinator for the day (point of contact for all vendors) to director for the rehearsal and premarital counseling. Having been responsible for a number of large and small events, including weddings, during my time in ministry; I understand how to create the big picture and then focus in on the details that make that big picture beautiful and rememberable. From helping the couple decide what the most important parts of their wedding are to creating a budget that allows them to have what is most important … to identifying the perfect venue & vendors, to offering musical selections and decor that will create the perfect atmosphere for their wedding; I am in tune with the couple and have the goal of making their wedding day a beautiful and unique experience for them. The bride can relax and enjoy this special day with no worries concerning all the details that will come together to make her wedding day magical. I provide full wedding planning services that includes creating a budget, identifying vendors, venues, musicians, DJ's, etc. I also provide basic planning services focused on the rehearsal and day of the wedding, which includes being directing the rehearsal and being the point person for all the vendors the day of the wedding. Finally, I offer pre-marital and relationship counseling. I have provided pre-marital counseling and couples counseling for hundreds of couples throughout my soon to be 30 years in ministry. I intentionally create safe space where each person feels validated and heard. My goal is to bring greater understanding and deeper connections for the couple. I also seek to help the couple in finding effective ways of addressing issues that may arise. Each learns more about themselves and the other; and, better understands their role and responsibilities in growing a stronger relationship. If I feel the couple could benefit from further counseling, I provide referrals to professional therapists who can continue the journey of healing and wholeness for the couple.
