My mother has been going to Ferdinand for years, so when we decided to get my great-grandparents' wedding rings resized for our June 2010 wedding, there was only one place to go. They did a fabulous job—my ring had to be sized up, and they mana...ged to size my husband's down without disturbing the 1903 engraving on the inside. For what it's worth, I've had a lot of jewelry repairs done there over the years (pearl-restringing, gem replacement, etc.) and the work has always been of a very high quality. Their prices on new items are reasonable, and they have wonderful estate pieces for people like me who don't much like modern design. If you live in the area, they're a great resource. (I live in Florida, and I still consider them "my" jeweler. They've been especially great about turning repairs around quickly when I'm only in town for a few days.)
