A graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Evin brings a lifelong passion for events and celebrations to every client interaction. With a warm, detail-oriented approach, she focuses on helping couples bring their wedding vision to life through thoughtful rental selections and personalized service. From the first inquiry to the final layout, she’s committed to making the planning process smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free.
Sterling Brooks
Co-Owner/CFO
With a degree from DePauw University and a master’s from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Sterling brings a strong background in organization and strategy to the business. While he manages the financial side of the company, he’s often found out on the field—helping oversee tent installations and making sure every event runs smoothly. His mix of behind-the-scenes planning and on-the-ground support helps ensure each wedding is executed with care and precision.
Cheryl Lehman
Co-Owner/Director of Operations
A graduate of Southern Illinois University with a master’s from Eastern Illinois University, Cheryl keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes. She leads the scheduling and logistics that keep events on track, while also lending her creativity to custom builds and specialty projects. Whether she’s fine-tuning timelines or designing something unique for a client’s vision, her attention to detail and innovative spirit help bring each celebration to life. She is also a mother of four and a grandmother of two!
Ethan Lehman
Project Manager
As a dedicated member of the family team, Ethan plays a key role in making sure each event comes together smoothly. He splits his time between planning and preparation in the office and leading the crew on-site to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. With a can-do attitude and a deep understanding of the logistics involved, Ethan helps bring the vision to life—from the first stake in the ground to the final walkthrough.
Andy Miller
Area Manager
With a loving spouse and three grown children, Andy brings a wealth of business management experience to Herriott's. As Area Manager, he plays a vital role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly - managing vehicle maintenance, coordinating warehouse organization, hiring and onboarding new team members, helping train staff to uphold the company’s high standards, and countless other mission-critical tasks. Originally from Missouri, Andy has lived in the Champaign-Urbana area for over 30 years and has deep roots in the community. When he’s not working, you’ll find him outdoors, traveling, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, or volunteering at his local church, where he’s actively involved in youth programs and mission work.
Jade Jones
Event Rental Consultant
Jade joined Herriott’s in May of 2024 and quickly became an important part of the client experience team. As an Event Rental Consultant, she’s often one of the first people couples speak with when planning their wedding. Whether it’s helping build a custom quote, answering questions, or guiding clients through rental options, Jade is dedicated to making the process smooth and stress-free. She currently studies Astrophysics at UIUC, and in her free time enjoys exploring record stores, thrifting, listening to all kinds of music, and spending time with friends.
Rae Ward
Event Rental Consultant
A recent transplant to the area, Rae is a colorful jack-of-all-trades—and truly our “Rae of Sunshine.” As an Event Rental Consultant, she’s often the friendly voice helping couples plan their special day, patiently guiding them through rental selections, building custom quotes, and answering any questions along the way. Rae brings warmth, creativity, and care to every interaction, making the planning process feel personal and stress-free. Outside of work, she’s likely rolling through the local rink, stitching up something behind a sewing machine, or creating one-of-a-kind pieces in her glass kiln.
