Loie Fullers

We had our intimate, 45 person wedding reception at Loie Fullers on 5/5/19. Our guests are still talking about how it was "the best wedding they had ever been to". I think back to that evening and I am transported again into a dreamlike state. I am so lucky that my dream became reality, and I am so so thankful. During the planning stages, we knew that four things were most important: food, drinks, music, and having a "party" feel to the evening. The Loie Fullers staff was able to execute this perfectly. From the beginning, we met with manager Curtis-- who is just lovely. He is extremely easy-going and laid-back, but then executes with such precision. Our options were plentiful- and it was evident that he wanted us to have the wedding that we envisioned...not some cookie cutter/mold type wedding. The venue was open to us adding our own flair to the space. While the space is already gorgeous with its dark/moody/art deco vibe, we were able to personalize it with our own details. For instance, we were lucky to have Flowers by Semia create gorgeous installations which only added to the space. Our "til death" neon sign illuminated the bar space and gave it a dreamlike feel. For food, we never wanted to feel like we had to pick from "package A/B/C". We had options of plated/buffet, etc, and decided on family style as it fit our vibe and number of guests the best. The menu options were very flexible. Curtis arranged for a gorgeous cheese board and other starter options. The food was amazing. Again, people are still talking about how it was "the best wedding food ever". We couldn't be happier. Curtis also helped us with our bar/drink package. Different bar options were available, and we added wine service with dinner which was just perfect. After dinner, he flawlessly helped the DJ relocate his equipment to create a dance floor vibe where dinner had been served. Something that could have easily interrupted the vibe of the night if done wrong. It went flawlessly, and we proceeded to have quite an epic dance party. Most importantly, the service from the Loie Fullers team was outstanding. The service staff was friendly, interactive, efficient, and never left guests waiting. We cannot thank them enough. We would relive this night over and over if we could. We cannot recommend this team enough for a small intimate wedding-- or any other private event!
