Your wedding day wouldn't be complete without the love of your life (your Dog, of course!).
We are pleased to offer our signature services specifically tailored to your wedding day vision. While your bridal party is preparing for the big day, you can give your Dog thhe day prior to and the morning of your wedding:
Wedding Prep
The day prior to and the morning of your wedding:
*A trip to the Dog Spa for your choice of bath and blow out or full grooming
*Engaged play and exercise to calm wedding day jitters
*Quality relax & reset time to make sure your Dog is ready for their big debut
*Hot towel treatment with calming lavender essential oils, brush out, and touch-up on the day of your wedding
A Starring Role
Your Wedding Valet will attend to your Dog at your wedding ceremony and photo locations for up to 4 hours on the day of your wedding
Chauffeured rides to and from your wedding venue and photo locations
You can choose whether to have your Dog present for your first look, your ceremony, and/or portrait sessions
We keep your Dog happy and engaged until their starring moment arrives
Our Wedding Gift to you...
Your choice of one or two nights overnight accommodations at our Pet Resort for your pampered Pup.

Laurie Ruttenberg
Founder
Following a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, Laurie took the leap to pursue her passion for working with animals and founded Lucky Dog Resort. Lucky Dog Resort is the culmination of a childhood dream, decades of business experience, and the call of the wild. Laurie has spent a lifetime caring for animals. As a pet parent herself, Laurie and her husband have two Dogs, a horse, a parakeet… and a teenage son. She has extensive training and experience in animal care and is active with organizations whose missions are to provide education and training for caregivers, as well as advocacy for animals. Dedicating her life to providing wonderful experiences for her doggy clients, their parents, and her team, Laurie has won awards such as Business Person of the Year, Alignable; Top Doggy Daycares in America, Pet News Daily; and Best Pet Care Newport County, Newport Life Magazine. She is an alumni of the 10,000 Small Businesses Program and has 25 years of experience working with physician practices and large medical care systems with the aim of creating positive change in patients’ lives. Her goal has always been to build something meaningful and successful, utilizing her gift and love for animals.
