I don’t even know where to begin! But Michael from nostalgic innovations blew us away! From our first meeting to our big day and then to receiving our video in such an amazing quick time he truly is the best. I will be recommending him to anyone I know that will be getting married! His personality and experience just helped make our day flow so wonderfully. I’m pretty sure we have watched our highlight reel 100 times when he first sent it over to us. I cannot imagine our wedding day without Michael/Nostalgic Innovations. From start to finish he was professional, honest, and brought a level of comfort and familiarity that truly set him apart from others. Our video, of course, is absolutely breathtaking and so so beautiful but what I’d like to highlight most is the level of care we felt he brought with his talent. He coordinated with both of our other major vendors and helped our timeline flow seamlessly- I was shocked when we were actually moving ahead of schedule! So, I feel so lucky finding Mike to be our videographer for our wedding. Mike took the time to meet with us in-person and answer any questions that we had as well as finding out what our wishes were for our wedding video. Let's just say, he did an AMAZING job with our love story, interviews, and wedding video(s). By the way, we had a halloween themed wedding and he was very excited to film!!! The first night we received the video, my husband and I watched the wedding highlight 3 times in a row. We were so excited to see the additional videos he was working on. We have shown a number of family members a couple of the videos and one of the feedback we received from an uncle was these exact words "Wow, this is the best wedding video I have even watched". Do not look any further... Mike is amazing.

We booked Nostalgic Innovations to do our wedding videography for our Wedding June 03, 2022. From the very first phone call with Michael to discuss availability, packages, and what exactly we were looking for in videography services, I knew he was the right vendor for us. Michael was warm, kind, and informative on the phone and displayed so much passion for his profession, I liked him immediately. Communication with him was clear, receptive and prompt. If I called or emailed him he always responded quickly. Once everything was on the books, we scheduled an in person meet up to go over details, about a month out from the wedding. Michael took down our timeline for the day of events, and gave us him timeline. He explained things so we would understand and not have questions on the day of. He also took time to get to know us and our story. It was comfortable and laid back, no awkwardness at all. At the wedding Michael couldn't have been any more wonderful, everyone that interacted with him, be it bridal party members, family, other vendors, or any guest, came up and said how nice he was! He was patient and fun with our large bridal party, encouraging us to have fun while managing to get great footage. He was able to give direction while managing to not be in our faces, at times it was like he wasn't there. About 3 weeks after the wedding he contacted me to let me know the highlight reel was completed and sent it to me for us to watch before he posted it to social media. I was speechless, it was beyond beautiful and captured our day so perfectly, I still cry every single time I watch it....and I've watched it a whole lot! Everyone who has seen it is so impressed. My husband and I cannot recommend Nostalgic Innovations more. Book them today!!

Michael is such an amazing videographer and so fun to work with! He was hired as the videographer at our friend’s wedding and we got to see his work in action several years ago. We were so impressed that we knew once we were engaged that this is who we wanted for our wedding day. Michael talked with us on the phone for our initial meeting and we met him in person for the final meeting before the wedding. This really showed how much he cared about capturing the perfect video for our wedding day. He also provides really good wedding advice and is so fast with his work! We received the highlight and final video with one month! We literally cannot get enough of both! The opening of both videos is literally stunning and the music he picked is spot on!! We get to re-live the best days of our lives over and over again 😊. Michael was the absolute best!!!! He was kind and easy to work with! He met with us beforehand to discuss the goals that we had for our wedding video, which I was very impressed with! I feel I could type a short story about how amazing Michael is; as a person and as our videographer. From the initial contact, Michael was kind, attentive, and dedicated to making sure our day ran smoothly. He was direct in what he needed to make sure he captured the BEST content. With that being said, he is absolutely a team player. Michael worked with our photography team (Sarah Heppell Photography) and it was like they’ve worked together for 20 years even though they worked together for the first time. If you’re camera shy, he will guide you. If you have a vision Michael will help you achieve it. The added benefit of him being a local, Michael gave us fantastic ideas of places to go for pictures and video. Without a shadow of a doubt, chose Michael to be your videographer. You will not be disappointed. When we got our videos back we were blown away. His work is fantastic and always brings smiles (and happy tears) to our faces when we watch them. Michael is truly amazing! He has been the videographer for my friend’s, sibling’s, and my own wedding- and we all can say that we would continue to recommend him to others! We highly recommend Nostalgic Innovations for your wedding or any other event! Not only was Michael was so easy to work with and so easy to get a hold of, but the videos he produced were absolutely unbelievable. We got a highlight film and a full recap of our wedding day with our package and both videos made my husband and I cry all over again! Most videographers we found aren’t offering full recaps anymore, but we are so lucky to have come across Nostalgic Innovations who are still providing it. This became especially important for us as we had to cut our guest list in half due to the pandemic. I was able to show the full recap to our family and friends that couldn’t be there with us in person. We received both videos within a few weeks of our wedding, which I thought was a very quick turn around. Both videos were such a beautiful representation of our perfect day and our love for each other. The highlight film looked just like a movie trailer! I absolutely cannot say enough about Michael and his work! My husband and I recently got married, and had a small wedding. Michael was more than accommodating, and kept in touch with us since the day we asked him to be our videographer. My husband is leaving for basic training this weekend, only two weeks after our wedding, and Michael worked hard for us to be able to enjoy our videos together before Ben leaves. That alone, has been absolutely amazing, and something Ben and I truly appreciate. If you’re looking for someone who is easy-going, kind, and an amazing human and videographer, then Nostalgic Innovations is who you NEED!

I was completely on the fence about hiring a videographer but after seeing Michaels work I contacted him. He was so easy to work with start to finish. He’s easygoing and creative. When we got our highlight film I was BLOWN AWAY! It completely captures all the special moments of our day and then some. So many people reached out to tell us how beautiful our film was as well. I can’t say enough about how happy we are with it!!! And Michael was beyond helpful throughout the entire planning process! When our photographer cancelled 5 weeks out, he had a recommendation for us. When our venue closed 3 weeks out, he offered his assistance. He is absolutely wonderful to work with and he’s amazing at what he does. He goes above and beyond. To anyone on the fence about hiring a videographer, make the call to Michael!!!!

We ended up hiring Michael only a month or so before our wedding since many people couldn't make it because of COVID. It was one of the biggest blessing in disguises from this year because I can't imagine not having our footage now! Michael was so easy to talk to and didn't seem to overwhelmed with our last minute booking. He had the full ceremony available the very next day to share with the people who couldn't make it and I can't express how thankful I am for that. I really hope to cross paths with Michael again because he was such a treat to work with!

Out of all the videographers we had contacted, Michael was by far the most reasonably priced AND (more importantly) the most personable when we spoke. We knew we hit the jackpot when he was available for our wedding date. Michael worked so well with my husband and I, he is very detail oriented, enthusiastic, thorough and timely. You can tell he takes his work seriously and has a genuine connection with his clients. Despite all the chaos, Michael did a great job capturing our moments and working past the obstacles of last-minute changes, and a rainy wedding day. Michael far exceeded our expectations and delivered us a beautiful video that my husband and I will cherish forever! I also want to note that he did some amazing work at restoring and piecing together my parents old wedding video from the 80’s. Seeing their day entirely remastered brought my family to happy, “nostalgic” tears! Thank you Michael for all the wonderful work you have done for my family! We were married on 09-14-2019 in Cazenovia and one of my goals when I was finding all my vendors was to find local people as much as possible. I couldn't get much more local than Michael! It worked out so wonderfully because he was able to meet with us at the venue a few weeks before the wedding and attend the rehearsal as well. That was so great because Michael was able to know exactly what the plan was, see where he wanted to set up, and I thought we were able to form a good connection with him through these meetings. He is so gracious as well. He offered to let my ceremony musicians borrow a keyboard and other equipment if they needed it. We did not end up taking him up on the offer, but it was very helpful that he sent all the information about what he had so the musicians could decide. Additionally, he went above and beyond by reaching out to someone he knew and trying to coordinate getting drone footage. That person ultimately could not participate, but the mere fact that Michael had tried to set it up was really awesome. Luckily, my husband's brother has a drone and we had already planned on asking him and seeing if that could be coordinated. Michael said it was fine and even provided an SD card for the footage. He seamlessly incorporated the drone footage into our highlight video, and man, is it a gorgeous video. Michael was so great to work with for our wedding. He is just a really nice person and I feel he understood what we wanted - the proof being in the highlight video he created, which I know he spent so much time on. I cannot say enough good things about Michael and his work which, additionally, is a very reasonable price. I think he and the photographer worked well together too, at least from my viewpoint they seemed to be. We do not have the full length video yet, but I feel confident it will be just as splendid as the highlight video.

Adding videography to our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made. And being able to work with Michael made it all the more better. We originally thought that we would maybe do without videography and I now cannot believe that thought even crossed my mind. I would have been so incredibly disappointed if we decided against adding this important piece to our day. We did some research and decided to reach out to Michael and boy, are we glad we did! Michael is truly a special, special guy. We cannot get over how responsive, professional and supportive Michael was from day one. From our first email correspondence, my husband and I felt an instant connection that was unlike any other vendor. We trusted him and really enjoyed getting to know him! You could tell through his responses, his questions for us, his suggestions etc. how much he truly cared about the work he does and the couples he works with. He was always quick to respond to any question (at pretty much any time of day!) and was so helpful in regards to our overall timeline. We had a few hiccups with our wedding planners along the way and Michael was quick to calm our nerves and reassure us that he too was there to help the day run smoothly. And do not even get us started on the video he created for us. We were just speechless. He put together the most beautiful video that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. The response from our family and friends has been overwhelming as well. It is so fun being able to show off his incredible work!! He is such a talented, caring person and we are just so grateful to have met him and to have been given the opportunity to work with him!! If you are on the fence about adding a videographer, JUST DO IT! Michael is the absolute best and will make your dreams come true! Believe me when I say you will regret not having this wonderful footage to look back on for years to come.

Very professional and affordable! Had a video chat session with us before our wedding to make sure it was exactly how we wanted it! We got our video so quick and it was everything I hoped for! I wouldn’t have any good pictures from our wedding blog it wasn’t nor nostalgic innovations! Our photographer sucked but nostalgic innovations can’t through for us full force! I cry every time I watch our video! You also never know they are there unless they are getting close up pictures! I’d recommend a million and ten times!!!

My brother used to work with Michael, and put us in touch with each other before my wedding day to coordinate videography. Truthfully, I wasn't planning on videography at first, but have to say it was the BEST decision I made for our day. Michael was an absolute delight to work with! He was super responsive, accommodating, professional, and got to know my husband and I as a couple to make sure our wedding day went exactly as we wanted. He went above & beyond, offering insight & advice for our day beyond videography. We adore the videos Michael took. We laughed, cried, and smiled as we relived our day watching the shots Michael got. We had a fantastic experience working with Michael for our wedding in August 2019. We looked for a long time to find the right videographer and going with Nostalgic Innovations was one of the best decisions we made. Michael is incredibly easy to work with; he is friendly, helpful, and a truly gifted storyteller. I loved that he did a shorter highlight video AND filmed the whole day - I've literally watched both of them at least a dozen times so far. The videos came out beautiful! Everything from the shots of details, to special moments we had, to the music; he captured everything so perfectly. We had an outdoor ceremony and a reception inside a historic barn - the barn was challenging because it was darker inside but he handled it perfectly. All of the communications leading up to the big day were clear, consistent and prompt. On the day of the wedding, he was very professional and made the day so much fun and less stressful. He worked very well with our other vendors that day too. I also think he has very reasonable pricing and packages for the work he does compared to other videographers we considered. I really can't say enough great things about Michael and our experience working with him - he is great and we would highly recommend him for ANY kind of wedding. He will make it so memorable and special!

I wasn’t sure I wanted a videographer until about 8 months before the wedding when I came across Nostalgic Innovations. Immediately I was impressed by their work and the quick responsiveness from them. The owner, Michael, is down to earth, fun, professional and genuinely passionate about his job. He planned and collaborated with us and the other vendors on our day so nicely to make it go smoothly. We were thrilled to work with him on our wedding day and even more excited when Michael returned our highlight video in just 3 short weeks! We just got married at Glenora Winery 6/15/19 and used nostalgic innovations as our videographer. I could not be happier with this decision! Deciding to have a videographer was, hands down, the best decision we made for our wedding day! From day one, Nostalgic Innovations was an absolute dream to work with! There is no denying that this is a labor of love for Michael. His presence added so much charm to our special day! The truth is that we didn’t think that we wanted a videographer for our wedding. If you are on the fence about if you want a videoagrapher or not, hire Michael! Hiring him was one of THE BEST things I did for my wedding! For a while I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend the money when I already had a photographer, but this was the best money I spent. He is so professional and definitely knows his stuff. Mike and his wife did, what I feel is too little recognition, an AMAZING job capturing our wedding day. We had the perfect day and it was all captured by Mike. Michael was absolutely wonderful to work with. Our family hired him to do our video as a surprise wedding present and it was our absolute favorite gift. Michael is such a genuinely sweet person and was so enthusiastic about his work and making sure he could capture everything we wanted. Michael was the absolute best!!! My now husband and I had our wedding in Fayetteville at the Immaculate Conception Parish and our reception in Downtown Syracuse at the hotel Marriott Downtown in the Grand Ballroom. When deciding that we wanted a Videographer we really didn't know who to look for... THANK GOD we found Nostalgic Innovations (Michael)... From our first meeting with him, he was SO professional and organized. He was also really, detailed and a quick responder over email which really showed me just how professional he is.... As a super OCD bride, I appreciated how on top of everything he was. He had a bunch of questions for us, which made us feel great because he thought of every single little detail and moment before the big day even happened. Michael was extremely flexible and told us that he could be wherever we needed him at whatever time. What was absolutely great was that Michael came to the rehearsal at the church the night before the big day so he could get an idea of the church and even film a little bit. When the big day arrived, Michael said hello of course but stayed out of the way in the background and even managed to get many different angles of the ceremony (which literally turned out amazing). He also got video of our photo sessions. He and my photographers worked great together and they didn't even meet until the big day... We got to the reception and Michael got many guest interviews... this was so awesome to watch back and also hilarious!!! He also got all of the entrances, first dances, and speeches on video too. After much dancing recorded after we all ate dinner, Michael then said goodbye and left. I was just so happy with him as a person - he was so genuinely kind and professional, you could tell he was just truly happy for us and excited to make the video memories for us.
