Bokeh Film Studios did an incredible job with our wedding video. Mike spent so much time preparing and ironing out all details before our wedding. Going into the day it made us feel completely confident in his understanding of our vision and his ability to capture every important moment. Mike understands the importance of a wedding video and truly wants to give you his best. Both Mike and Kristen make a great team and were extremely friendly, professional and detail oriented. We were extremely pleased with Mike and Jared and are grateful that they were able to capture our special day so perfectly. The wedding highlight video was exactly what we had hoped for and we can't stop watching and smiling. Mike and his wife, Kristen, put a lot of effort in getting to know you as a couple, which in turn helps them understand what you want from a video-perspective. This interpersonal connection is what likely sets them apart from other videographers. In addition, Mike was able to accommodate our last minute request to capture the speeches from our rehearsal dinner as well as showing us a tremendous amount of graciousness and kindness with our request for capturing some more dancing footage. We recently had the pleasure of working with Mike as our videographer for our wedding in August. From our first conversation, Mike really took the time to get to know us, our story, and our vision for our wedding day (and how he fit into it as a videographer). He was professional and responsive and provided helpful input on the logistics for the big day. The day of the wedding, he was timely, professional, and thoughtful. He was respectful of our thoughts and wishes that we had expressed before and during the day and he made sure to capture the moments we would want to remember. When people tell you your wedding day will fly by in an instant, it couldn't be more of an understatement. I cannot say enough amazing things about Kristen & Mike. We first connected with them in April 2018 shortly after getting engaged and immediately connected with them. Something we noticed right away was how easy they were to talk to, get to know and they genuinely cared about knowing us and who we were as a couple too. Throughout the planning process they were incredibly prompt, professional and easy to work with. Meeting them the day of our wedding (June 29 2019) was a pleasure. They are so nice and our entire bridal party felt so comfortable with them. They worked so hard to capture all of the details, small and large, that my husband and I incorporated into the day. The owners of Bokeh Film Studios are an incredibly talented husband/wife duo and an absolute dream to work with! They did both photo and video for our October 2018 wedding and we are beyond impressed with their entire service. Our package included an engagement session, 10 hours day-of coverage, a highlight film, and a documentary edit film. We initially connected over email and phone, but solidified everything in person as Mike and Kristen requested that we meet them for lunch (cute right?) -- so they could hear our story and get to know us more. From that moment it felt more like friendship than business..and continues to feel that way today! Mike and Kristen were quick to answer any and all of our questions throughout the entire planning process (and I ask a lot of them). We went into our wedding with 100% confidence that photo/video would be covered and that they'd capture everything we were hoping for...and they delivered! Our photos are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. My husband and I were so comfortable taking photos with Kristen. She got hundreds of stunning shots, at the perfect angles; her editing style is both natural and gorgeous. Our photos have a dreamy warm hue/glow to them that perfectly fits our fall wedding. Outside of our ceremony and family shots, our favorite photos are the ones she got of our guests having a great time on the dance floor. Our videos make me tear up every.single.time I watch them. Mike is GIFTED in his ability to tell a story through film. I am most impressed ( & I believe this is what sets him apart from the others) by the audio in his videos - his audio will include pieces of laughter from your guests, sniffles from your family during the ceremony, the best parts of the speeches and your vows, all wrapped up in the perfect song. To fully understand, just do this: on FB, watch 'Matt + Kailey' and listen to the audio from 1:23 - 1:35 & 1:43 & 2:03 & 3:28. THEN watch 'Zach + Siobhan' and listen at 4:27-4:50. This audio paired with crystal clear, perfectly edited video is everything you need. Kristen and Mike worked so well together and they seem to fully understand what each other needs to do their job - a HUGE perk of a husband/wife team. I highly recommend Bokeh Film Studios.

Mike and Kristen Zale are out of this world incredible. After a couple of phone calls to get to know one another and discuss our wedding vision and learn more about their style, work ethic, etc., we had the opportunity to meet them in person! Mike and Kristen are incredibly genuine as people and as professionals in their work. The combination of their photography and videography style with who they were as a husband and wife team made us beyond excited for them to capture our big day. They did not disappoint. They made us feel comfortable the whole time and captured everything in an incredible way. Caroline and I would HIGHLY recommend them to ANYONE! Christopher and I had the BEST experience with Mike ! He was exceptionally professional, and made us feel very secure with our investment. Prior to our wedding day we had not one, not two, but 3 phone interviews/conversations with Mike and my wedding planner and I am a highly A-type personality and he was so accommodating. I was totally fan girling over how intimate the videography was for his prior weddings, as I stalked his youtube page of his prior highlight films and my husband and I fell in love with his eye, and artistic style. On the day of my wedding, Mike was early and was really easy to be comfortable in front of the camera with. Also he was really handy as he saved my Christian Louboutin heels from the plank flooring of my wedding venue, with his trusty Boy Scout knife, all while salvaging the satin, and catching the authenticity of my first look with my now husband. When we got our highlight film and Documentary edit (definitely recommend getting), we were OVER the moon with excitement and joy. I kid you not my friends are SO jealous of my wedding video, and that is all a bride can ever ask for. I literally watch my highlight video once a week, I love it so much, as we also had ample time (like > 6 months) to download a copy or multiple copies of our wedding video, which was so seamless and easy to do. I would recommend Mike time and time again. He is truly an artist and a great human.

We had an amazing day with Mike and Kristin by our sides! They were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our wedding day. They arrived early, worked well with our other vendors, and were so much fun to have around! We cannot wait to see how our video turns out, but have no doubt that it will be as wonderful as Mike and Kristin!

Tommy and I cannot say enough great things about Bokeh Films! Mike and Kristen were so fun to work with, we spoke with them on the phone a couple of times and it was like talking to old friends they made us feel so comfortable and on our special day it was the same way! we never felt like we had to act or be different in front of the cameras. We would use them again for anything our family needs! We originally didn't plan on doing video but I am so so happy we did. I can't wait to see the final cut!

Robbie and I had the pleasure of having Mike and Kristen as our photographer and videographer last night. They made sure they met with us last week to ensure they knew exactly what pictures we wanted and the timeline of our day. They showed up early in the morning while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready at Woodcliff to capture detail shots of my shoes, earrings, rings, etc. so they didn't have to worry about taking time out of our wedding to do that. They made me and my bridesmaids feel comfortable and not awkward about having our pictures taken. They knew exactly where to pose us and the places they took us around Woodcliff were beautiful. After they left Woodcliff, they went right to the ceremony/reception location to take pictures of the venue before the groomsmen arrived. Before the reception, Mike and Kristen were making sure to get every family and friend shot that we wanted them to. Whenever a guest at the reception asked Kristen to take a picture, she did so without hesitation and with a smile on her face. At sunset, they took me and Robbie outside to capture the most beautiful photos. Mike used his drone for the videography and we are SO excited to see the beautiful shots he took. They were truly AMAZING to work with, and we wouldn't have wanted anyone else there with us! They're a photographer/videographer turned into good friends of ours! THANK YOU, Mike and Kristen!

We had Mike film our wedding and it was one of the best investments we made! We hadn't planned on having a videographer, but when we saw the quality product that he produced from my brother's wedding, we knew this was something we wanted. Mike was so easy to work with and listened to our input of what we desired to be put in our film. He took the time to get to know us and what kind of feel we wanted our wedding to have. We were completely blown away when we received our video from Mike! We loved it and are so glad we have these memories documented in such a special way. We recommend this investment to everybody!
