njoy my wedding.

I had to do most of my communication via e-mail. The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was beyond words.. a beautiful staircase leading upstairs to the spacious rooms with the gas lamps on the exposed brick walls and wooden beam ceilings...I just can't say enough. As soon as I walked in, I knew this is where Jason and I would start our lives together. Simply beautiful!

All the staff at The Chicory made us feel special on our wedding day. Our attendants, Lilly and Kathleen, were amazing. Our guests are still talking about our wedding a month later. just knew this had to be it. After getting a more thorough tour from Gina I saw the Lafayette Room with the outdoor wrap around balcony as well as the enormous and beautiful bridal suite. There was so much natural light as well as lanterns around the place it seriously was like a fairy tale. And this all felt this way while the entire space was completely EMPTY. I could only imagine what it could look like during a wedding. After checking out all 7 other venues my now mother in law and I were fixated on The Chicory. We HAD to get married here. So we did. And I could not have chosen a better venue for my big day. It really is magical. There is three different rooms and all three different rooms have so much charm. All my wedding guests (who were traveling from all over) were blown away by the venue. Everyone kept saying, "I didn't know what to expect when you tried to explain the space ... but I definitely didn't expect this!" And truthfully, neither did I. I didn't know what to expect. I had an idea and I was just hoping that Yazmin & Gina would understand my vision. And not only did they get it, it was more then I even imagined! Everyone was so helpful .. from Lily the cocktail waitress who took care of my husband and I all night. To Yazmin helping me bustle my dress when I realized NO ONE else knew how to (I bought my dress in Seattle and didn't try it on since my last fitting when they added the buttons for the bustle. I'm THAT bride) - But seriously, everyone was so wonderful and sweet. They made my day go so smoothly and I couldn't have picked a different place to get married. It was a dream come true and I can't stop looking at all the different pictures from the day because it really was such a surreal and magical night. :-)

e. For the day of the event itself, the staff could not be more responsive and helpful. The food is delicious, and the service is amazing! I appreciate the opportunity to work with such a stellar team of people in a beautiful setting. The Chicory is a place I trust with my bride's special day because I know that everyone working the event is taking great pride in their level of service to the clients, and they make customer satisfaction a top priority! My most recent wedding at the Chicory was last weekend - the food, the ambiance, the details - everything was perfect!

d meeting with several vendors, I was pleased when We finally walked in The Chicory. It was just what she was looking for. Then we met Brent. From the first hello to the wedding day it was a pleasure having him to assist me and my daughter. He took us on a tour of the building and explained everything in detail from how everything would be set up to the menu. Although we were in Dallas he was only a phone call away and if I didn't get him when I called he always returned my calls. On our next visit we met Yasmine who was another staff member that was my angel. Yasmine was there for the rehearsal and wedding and had everything very organized. She made sure that everything started on time and ended on time. I can't thank her enough for all that she did to assist me. Kudos to the chef and his staff. The food was great. I had so many people that complimented on how good the food was. The menu had so many choices and there apparently was enough variety from the items that we chose from the menu that everyone was able to choose something to their liking. I could go on and on but all I can say is having my daughters wedding at the Chicory was worth every penny. She was happy and everything was just what she wanted.

city. Yazmin, was my event coordinator and she was awesome. She knew exactly what I wanted and worked hard from the rehearsal till the last minute, sending my husband and I with lots of food to our hotel room. Its been two months since my wedding and everyone is still talking about it!!!!

I actually had guests say that they have never had such great food at a wedding before and never left a wedding feeling so full and satisfied. My wedding was everything that i ever dreamed it would be and i owe all of that to the chicory. It is by far the best venue in New Orleans for so many reasons. The entire feel of the chicory is one that you will never forget. The staff at the chicory made everoyne feel welcome and i knew from the beginning that everything would be exactly as i had planned. The outside balcony makes a perfect setting for those guests that want to get away from all the hustle and bustle and makes for beautiful photo spots. I just love looking back at all of my pictures and seeing the beautiful background of the chicory and knowing that i will be forever a part of the chicory family.

incredible. We heard from multiple guests that it was the best reception food they had ever had. The staff at The Chicory were nothing but great to work with. Gina was always very friendly and accommodating. The night of the wedding my groom and I had our own waiters who made sure we always had what we needed. It was so nice to not have to worry about grabbing food or drinks. I would recommend the Chicory if you want a beautiful venue with great people running it.

What we heard from our guests that night was how beautiful it was and how the food was awesome! From the bride, groom and parent's perspective, the hospitality and service provided by the staff is what made it all extra special.

The service was incredible, the chef let us have free reign on the menu, and created some of our favorite family dishes better than our original recipes. They had assistants for us which gave us space, but were always close enough to get us another drink or any other request we may have to ease our reception enjoyment. All in all, it was even better than I figured it could have been. All of our special requests were met, and they coordinated everything how we wanted with exceptional professionalism.

iful venue for a wedding reception. Every detail is taken care of, the food is simply incredible and the decor is stunning. The bride and groom as well as the parents all had personal attendants all night so that you never had to want for anything. There is a little room off to the side where our son and his wife could get a quick bite to eat before they came out for their first dance. The venue has beautiful exposed brick and amazing wood floors with working gas lamps on the walls. The kids had a live band which was amazing (Phat Hat) where the music could be heard but was not over powering in the space. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding reception!

At the end of the night, they make little to go boxes with everything you served in case you never got a chance to eat, which was exactly my case so it was nice to taste everything the following day. We wanted a venue that showed the true character of New Orleans and not just another hotel room venue. The chicory was the best hands down! From the exposed brick, wood floor and gas lanterns there's no way you can find something better! Overall if I had to do it again this is probably the only vendor I would keep the same.

The owner posted a reply stating she would like to personally speak with me and listed her e-mail address. By the time I got around to contacting her, my post had been removed and I had been blocked from messaging or posting anything on their Facebook wall. I also no longer had information to contact her as she requested. I called the main number and got directed to her voice mail in which I left a message. After a week, I have not received any response. At this point, I am not interested in having my event at this venue, however, I wanted to warn any bride considering the venue. If this is a sign of how they treat their customers, you should probably re-consider. Especially if you are a bride on a budget.

It was so nice to work with a great caterer and have that amazing space. I continue to get compliments on our reception~the food and the space. Cindy is amazing to work with. Her staff was extremely polite and attentive. The evening was perfect!

lanned. On the day of the wedding, I was worry-free when it came to the reception. It is not always possible to get that great "New Orleans" location and great New Orleans food. Usually, you have to sacrafice one or the other for cost purposes. However, at the Chicory you can have it all!!
