My shower was held at the Mansion. The room upstairs is absolutely gorgeous, and the food was incredible. The staff was really friendly. Everyone had such an amazing time.
I had my wedding at the mansion 2 weeks ago. Samantha was our planner at the mansion and she did a fantastic job. I can't thank her enough. I definitely recommend this venue. My bridal attendant was top notch, the food was delicious, the place looked amazing and my guests were raving. I couldn't ask for a better wedding.
The Mansion on Main Street is a beautiful venue staffed by amazing and caring individuals. My wife and I were married there in May of 2016. Our event planner, Samantha Serenkin made herself available to us at a moment's notice to handle any questions or concerns we may have had. Throughout the planning process we were in constant communication with Samantha and The Mansion's staff as they catered to our every need and alleviated any concerns that may have come up.
The place is majestic both inside and out. The only problem we had when taking wedding photos was deciding which spot to take pictures in first! Our wedding day was flawless, due in no small part to the staff and how well they took care of us and our guests. A prime example occurred right at the beginning of our ceremony. During Cocktail Hour I was so busy making rounds and greeting guests that I had missed my opportunity to enjoy some of the sushi from the sushi display we had. I asked our maitre d if there was any sushi left and within what felt like seconds there was a giant plate full of delicious sushi sitting on the sweetheart table for my wife and I to enjoy.
Thank you Mansion for making our night so amazing!
Any questions?
My wedding yesterday, June 26, 2016, was everything I hoped it would be due in large part to The Mansion, the Mansion's recommended vendors, and my own attention to detail. The food at The Mansion is outstanding, the venue is gorgeous, I love the outdoor ceremony space, and my bridal attendant, Lori, was fabulous! Keep in mind that the person you book your wedding with may change throughout your wedding planning process. I booked my wedding with one person whom I really liked and she left a couple months later. I was also always very on top of everything: setting up meetings and the tasting and paying each deposit. As long as you are on top of your own wedding, everything will turn out exactly as you want it to be and will be a dream come true like my special day was.
From start to finish, our wedding at The Mansion was a truly amazing event. From being greeted by the valet team to enjoying the scenic views of the gardens and fountain.
When the guests arrived they were welcomed and directed to the Pavilion Room located outside of one of the many beautiful garden areas. The Pavilion Room was a bright contemporary standalone building incased in glass with the most beautiful mural on the ceiling (this is where our ceremony was held).
After the ceremony, guests were directed to the doors of the Crystal Room for the cocktail hour (talk about a room with a view). This particular room had the most gorgeous chandelier and the panoramic view down to the garden was a such a beautiful sight to behold. My guests were so taken aback with it’s beauty.
While taking pictures by the spiral staircase and grand piano, my bridal attendant made sure that we had light refreshments so we could enjoy some of the cocktail hour. The Crystal Vanderbilt Room absolutely took my breath away; from the chandeliers, table set up, up lighting and lighting were perfect. (Our colors were chocolate, peach, silver and ivory)
Our guests raved about everything, from the service, professionalism, the décor, the cocktails, food, etc. They even liked the idea about the mocktails (and cash bar since we are not drinkers – LOL).EVERYTHING WAS A HIT. We decided to go with a buffet dinner and WOW, the food was DELICIOUS. Lastly, the Viennese table presentation was beautiful along with the presentation of our wedding cake.
Kudos to your Mansion Team, they were extremely accommodating throughout the entire event and we all had a wonderful time at The Mansion.
I can't say enough positive things about The Mansion. From the time we booked (18 months in advance), everyone was beyond helpful. The venue itself is beautiful, and while we were disappointed that we couldn't have the service outdoors (due to weather), the ceremony was better than I could've imagined. I was a little concerned that the room our reception was in was going to be too big, as we only had about 80 guests. That wasn't an issue at all, as the room was made up great.
The food was also phenomenal. I don't eat seafood, but after the tasting, I would've been fine ordering our seafood option. Most people ordered the filet, and I didn't hear one complaint. Even the potato that accompanied each meal was a little different. We had a couple vegetarians there, and they seemed to appreciate the vegetable tower as something different from the option they normally get at weddings.
Also, the amount of food they serve is ridiculous. We had over 20 hors d'oeuvres and three stations during the cocktail hour. With dessert, we thought what was listed was more than we've seen at weddings. There was so much more at the reception. I've honestly never been to a wedding where there were that many options beyond wedding cake and pastries.
As stated above, everyone at The Mansion was incredible. We had Samantha as our coordinator, and she was fantastic. She was always accessible through email and answered any and all questions we had. She was even able to anticipate questions we would have. The day of the wedding, we had Rob and Sojourn taking care of us, and they did a wonderful job. As soon as we walked into the cocktail hour, Rob had plates of food for both of us. Between the two of them, we never had to want for anything during the reception.
We are already talking about when we are going to renew our vows so that we can have another reception at The Mansion!
Both of my sisters had their receptions at The Mansion and for that reason I swore I never would. Well true to my word I looked at other venues before The Mansion. When I finally went to see it again, I walked through the doors, looked at my mom and said, "this is it." I was thrilled with every detail, the constant and immediate communication with Samantha S. And the attention my husband and I received on our wedding day. Anything I requested was granted and Samantha had great ideas too! I was blown away looking at pictures of our cocktail hour because I wasn't able to see all of it the day of. The room was gorgeous and each station had decorations corresponding to that part of the world. My husband and I chose food that would represent all corners of the globe and the room was decorated at such but with such elegance. There were extra white flowers, ostrich feathers, shells and starfish on the rum bar and more! It was gorgeous! There was an issue with my seating chart, which was the vendor I used fault, not The Mansion, and Samantha kept me calm and fixed the problem within minutes. People are still talking about the food and the beautiful venue. My husband and I couldn't have loved our wedding more and we owe so much thanks to Samantha, Rob and all the staff of The Mansion!!!
I had my wedding reception here on 8/8/15 and it was just awesome. From the very start, our wedding coordinator, Samantha, went above and beyond to make sure the reception was exactly the way we wanted. She is seriously the sweetest person and the most professional and accommodating event planner out there! She worked with our budget and answered every single one of my million questions promptly and with a smile!
The food is outstanding, and the landscape (as well as the interior) is a gorgeous backdrop for beautiful pictures.
I would also like to point out that the staff is amazing - the Maitre D, servers, bartenders and the bridal attendants are super friendly and really made me feel like I was their biggest priority. For such a large venue, I never once saw any trace of another event other than my own.
The Mansion is a beautiful venue with a well-managed, wonderful staff. I would highly recommend them to every bride looking for a venue with sophisticated class mixed with a fun, lounge-like feel.
A huge THANK YOU to Samantha, from Michelvin! :)
Stunning venue! Absolutely wonderful staff who take care of every need or want. From day one the staff was one and one always having open communication and would just call to check in. We were a few hours away from the venue and they would do everything to accommodate us as well as make sure our special day was one to never forget. Truly incredible. Highly recommended.
My husband and I started out with a different coordinator and halfway through was switched to Samantha Serenkin. The transition was almost entirely unnoticeable. Samantha jumped into our details from the get-go. She responded to emails extremely fast and always had an out-of-office message if she wasn’t in. I attended school 7 hours away while we were going through the wedding planning process and Samantha was always willing to work with my schedule for our meetings. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the venue looked and how great the food was, along with the plentiful food options. Two of my guests were vegan and Samantha worked with me to find a meal choice for them. Overall, I am so glad we had our wedding at the Mansion and so thankful for Samantha, who made the entire wedding planning process so much easier.
Gorgeous venue with amazing food. I did have a bit of an issue with the revolving door of wedding coordinators, I had about 4 different people in just over a year. But 6 weeks before the wedding we got our last coordinator who was very nice and helpful. All of our guests had an amazing time. We used EBE to DJ, the combo of EBE and the Mansion was perfection.

The Mansion Staff
Our wedding at The Mansion was perfect! Samantha is the best and so helpful. The entire staff was so kind and truly want the best for their brides and guests. Everyone went above and beyond for us. The food was fabulous, which was high priority with our big, italian family. I couldn't recommend The Mansion enough!!

Dear Mansion Bride,
Thank you for your kind words. We enjoy providing memorable experiences for each Bride and Groom!
The Mansion Staff
Five stars for The Mansion on Main Street! The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, NJ hosted my wedding ceremony as well as my reception. Samantha Serenkin is the best wedding event planner you could ever have! She organized all the details and made sure I was a calm bride as I approached my wedding day. She was able to work with my tight budget and turn it into a fabulous day with plenty of food options. She answers every email in a timely fashion and pretty much becomes your best friend at the end of it all. The Mansion on Main Street’s staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order on the big day – they attended to guests, as well as to myself, the groom, and my bridal party. All of the guests agreed that the Mansion on Main Street was an absolutely gorgeous venue and made my wedding that much more special. The food – honest to God – is some the BEST foods I have ever eaten in my life! I would 100% recommend the Mansion on Main Street to host your wedding ceremony and reception…or any event that you may have! Trust me, you won’t regret it! Oh, and if you don’t believe me about their food, just try going to one of their Sunday brunches…lobster bisque…to die for!
Our wedding at The Mansion was perfect. They were great to work with and very accommodating with all of our requests. Our wedding day turned out beautiful! From the food and drinks to the gorgeous venue, everything as perfect! I made a lot of my own center pieces and decorations and they had everything set up exactly how I wanted! We loved our experience with The Mansion and would recommend this venue to everyone!
We had been working with the Mansion for about a year and a half. With 6 months left until we got married, the manager and our coordinator changed. At first the change was hard but we were glad that it happened. Our new coordinator was Samantha S. She got back to us promptly with answers to our questions. When we learned that our former coordinator didn’t write down any of our arrangements, she did what she could to work with us. Our wedding went smoothly and everyone made sure that we were happy. The food was delicious. The only thing that really was an issue was at the end of the reception. Leading up to the wedding day, we were told that we could leave our items in the coat room and have someone pick it up the next day. At the end of the reception, however, we were told that we could not leave our stuff in the coat room. Luckily, my mom was able to hold onto everything for us. If not we would have had no idea what to do with our stuff since we were leaving for our honeymoon early the next morning and didn’t have our car to store anything in.
The Mansion was the first venue my now husband and I looked at when starting our wedding planning. We instantly fell in love with the venue. It was classy and had the glamour we were looking for that was well within our budget. Our wedding planner was initially great. i felt that she really listened to my concerns and was honest with me. I felt that she cared about what it is was that I wanted by saying "We really want to have your wedding here and will do everything we can to accommodate your desires but if we can't give you want you want then you should go to where elsewhere." I felt that that statement she was truly caring about our needs. With that being said that planner actually resigned from her position 2 weeks before my wedding....leaving me some what devasted. however the mansion provided an amazing planner who stepped right in as if she had been with me every step of the way.
For the price - we couldn't beat what we were getting. we were getting way more for way less than any other venue. the food and service were amazing at our wedding. the room was beautiful and everything was wonderful!
my one complaint about this venue was the fact that there were other weddings there that day. my pictures had to stop due to the other bride being in the area which stopped our photos for a good 20 minutes. apparently we weren't allowed to see each other....this is the one thing i did not like. i felt that i missed out on some photo opportunities because we were stuck waiting.
I know what you are thinking, the venue has great pricing, the staff is friendly, and they assured you that you will be their top priority. I thought that too, but my greatest wedding regret was choosing The Mansion as my wedding venue.
I should have seen the red flags. Every time I visited something was broken, either the main chandelier or fountain, but for my 100 degree wedding day.... it was the air conditioning. Maintenance is obviously not a priority.
Their scheduling of events is completely mismanaged. They do not prepare you for the insanity (of their own making) that will become you on your wedding day. When we arrived, there were other weddings, bat mitzvahs, and so many other events going on.. it was a MAD HOUSE. There was loud dance music playing on every level, we were rushed around by staff and we couldn't even enjoy our first look on the staircase because the loud music and lack of AC.
- An event was scheduled in our reception space until ONE HOUR before our ceremony which allowed no time for proper set up. It was utter chaos and set up details were missed.
- Our ceremony was delayed by 30 mins because another wedding they had scheduled before ours started late. To schedule 1 hr between ceremonies is just not enough time, and our guests were stuck waiting in a small hot lobby for the other wedding to end.
- Our ceremony had decor up from the previous wedding, and none of the staging modifications discussed at our planning meetings and rehearsal.
- They ran out of our upgraded booze.
- Oh, and did I mention the AC was broken and it was 100 degrees out?! Tons of sweaty guests.
It was a logistical nightmare, and fault lies solely on the Mansion. I had all the details perfectly outlined for the venue, but no amount of preparation on my part could have fixed the broken AC, poor event scheduling, and general chaotic mismanagement of the venue. It makes me sad to think back and say "I hated my wedding" and I was completely embarrassed.
Our wedding at The Mansion was perfect! Everyone we worked with was incredible. Samantha was amazing to work with, she was attentive and followed up before the wedding to make sure every detail was perfect. Everyone was so attentive to my husband and I on the day of our wedding, they were constantly making sure we had food/drinks and made sure everything was perfect for us. The cocktail hour in the Crystal Vanderbilt room was perfect. The room is gorgeous, especially at night, and the food was delicious. Our reception in the Versailles ballroom on the third floor was amazing. The room is spectacular and it is so beautiful being on the third floor looking down the spiral staircase. The ambience is exactly what we wanted at our wedding, very classy and beautiful. We were so happy with the food, the packages offered are great, they are reasonably priced and they offer a lot of food which was important to us. The grounds were so beautiful in the background of our pictures and our pictures inside were just as incredible. There are so many great places to get pictures taken. There were other weddings going on but it didn't interfere with our wedding at all. Our guests had a great time and everyone commented on how beautiful and classy our wedding was and how attentive the staff were. I would definitely recommend this venue for your wedding!!
After visiting numerous wedding venues that we did not like we were almost ready to call it a day and d a destination wedding. The mansion on Main Street was our last stop before making that decision and all of our anxiety dissipated instantly. From the first time we came through the doors we were very impressed with the upkeep of the buildings, the grounds, and of course the most professional and accommodating staff anywhere. Samantha serenkin was our wedding coordinator and she is organized beyond organized. Very detail oriented, very approachable and very easy to communicate with. She took over our wedding half way through the planning (which made me, a type a crazy control freak very nervous) but proved to be more in control than even I thought I was. She made every request happen, she responds to email instantly, she was my brain and my memory when I have lost both as the day came closer, and nothing was out of place on the wedding day. The food was incredible even better on the wedding day than the tasting and we didnt think it was possible. The chef really impressed us and made all of our special requests happen without any problems....we had an amazing variety of food at cocktail hour (lamb chops are out of control) and no one left the wedding hungry or thirsty. The salmon and the filet were incredible and the stuffed chicken was unlike anything we ever tried before. Our guests could not stop talking about the incredible desserts either. I could go on forever but I think I have made my point clear...you will not find better food, organization, grounds, upkeep, or price anywhere else!
We had our wedding reception at The Mansion. They were extremely accommodating to our budget. Never once did I feel that we were not getting anything in our package, or getting cut short. They were very helpful with the planning and allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed! The night of the wedding we had Lori, our bridal attendant, and Beth, our Maitre'D, by our side not only helping with the photos but to make sure the night ran smooth! Drinks, food, and service were phenomenal! We truly could not have asked for a more perfect and fun night, thank you Mansion staff!!
My husband and I were married at the Mansion on October 11th. Everything was beyond any expectations I had. Liz and Selena took care of everything we were supposed to be married outside and it ended up raining and Selena called our florists so I didn't have to worry about. I would 100 percent recommend them and definitely use them for future occasions. Everyone is still raving about the food and the mansion to this today!
Living in San Diego, CA and planning your wedding from across the country was no easy task! But Liz, and the team at The Mansion made it a piece of cake!
The Mansion has it all, great atmosphere, beautiful grounds inside and out, and delicious food! Liz, our wedding coordinator, was easy to get a hold of, dealt with all of our questions and concerns quickly and efficiently.
The day went so smoothly, and the staff really made everyone feel welcome. There was SO much food, and an amazing dessert bar all included. Our guests are still raving about that!
Thank you so much for making our day so perfect!
We picked the Mansion after visiting 6 potential venues. Elizabeth Hoey was extremely informative and professional throughout the entire process. Liz also assisted in recommending the photographer, the DJ, the florist and the wedding cake supplier, based on an approved vendor list they maintain. The indoor/outdoor reception area was fantastic, the butlered hors d'oeuvres were terrific, and the dinner was incredible. All of our guests were highlighting the quality of the dinner, and the attentiveness of the staff, who came to each of the tables frequently to make sure everything was OK. The dessert offerings were great, which everyone enjoyed. The bridal attendent, Rob, was great. He took my wife and myself immediately upon arrival and showed us the entire reception and dinner set up and got us drinks, making sure we were comfortable and happy. The maitre d', Sojourn, was excellent. She was extremely attentive throughout the evening, making sure we had everything we needed and expected. In summary, the word "perfect" may be an understatement, but it definitely applies with Liz Hoey and the Mansion!!
I highly recommend the Mansion on Main Street as a wedding venue! Everyone at the Mansion is very helpful and a pleasure to work with. We had originally signed our contract with the previous Director of Sales and I was a little nervous when I called one day to speak with him about something for the wedding and found out he was no longer employed there. However, Terry, the temporary replacement and Scott, the new director of sales were extremely helpful in answering my questions and putting my worries at ease. Terry sat down with us and our families at the tasting and went through every single detail you could imagine to ensure that everything ran smoothly at the wedding. I really appreciated her time and efforts to understand exactly what we envisioned for the day. On the day of, everything was amazing! There were two other weddings there that day, but they didn't really interfere with ours at all. We were able to get ready there very early in the morning and keep all of our stuff safely locked away once the festivities started. They even let my sister-in-laws bring their newborns and keep them in a room with a babysitter for the whole wedding. The pavilion ceremony room and the crystal vanderbilt room are both gorgeous with their huge windows and really make for a nice setting for the ceremony and cocktail hour. All of our guests commented on how great the food was, especially the mashed potato bar! The food was plentiful and delicious. We had a perfect day and are so glad we chose the Mansion as the place for our wedding venue.
The Mansion on Main Street is an absolutely beautiful venue for a wedding. I got married there two weeks ago and everything went off without a hitch. Samantha was very accommodating and organized throughout the entire time we worked with her, and especially on my wedding day. The service was exceptional and the staff was very professional, all of them. My maitre d' Dawn went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and happy the entire time. She even helped me fix my dress! She also kept me well-fed when I was too busy taking photos to think about eating food. Speaking of the food, it was amazing and I received so many compliments about the hors d'oeuvres, the desserts and everything else! I highly recommend The Mansion for anyone's wedding venue.
From the very first meeting, I knew we would have a great wedding at the Mansion. I worked with Liz and she provided excellent service throughout the whole process. My bridal attendant was Rob and he was fantastic..I recommend him to any future brides! The day was perfect and more than we could imagine. Everything ran exceptionally smooth from the ceremony outside by the gazebo to cocktail hour to the reception..even for cleanup the staff on hand helped and put everything in boxes..even told us we could pick it up the next day if we wanted. The also include the wedding cake from a few cake vendor options into the package which is great because it's one less piece you have to stress about! I could go on and on but The Mansion was top notch and I recommend it to anyone.
My wife and I were married here on June 7th, 2014. Overall, I would say our wedding went splendidly. Everything went according to plan, food was ready on time and guests loved the food! The operations folks guided everybody through the plan (we had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Mansion) and there wasn't too much confusion. Below are some of the details in terms of gripes & praise:
Gripes:
Initially, our wedding was being handled by a fellow named Jeff Sands. Working with him until about 3 months before our wedding, he was extremely hard to get ahold of, promised us the world to get us to sign up, then changed his tune later, and usually didn't really get back to us unless he needed money from us. Working with him was extremely frustrating and caused a lot of unneeded stress.. However, he apparently was terminated. Our next POC was Mrs. Terry Hall who you will read about in the praise section. I will say for Mr. sands, he did give us some discounts at the insistence of my wife. As advice I'd say: don't be afraid to negotiate the price and make sure you get every promise in writing with a signature.
About a year before our wedding, we picked a room for our cocktails and reception. We learned this room would be hot in early June. We asked the Mansion to make sure the room (Crystal Vanderbilt) would be comfortable for our event. However, despite one year of notice, the air-conditioning was turned on only a few hours before our event and the room became uncomfortable to the point where everybody left our dance floor and escaped to the cooler cocktail area. This put a damper on the partying at our event. That is probably our biggest gripe.
We had a discount voucher for our rehearsal dinner that was not honored. Granted we did get lots of other price breaks, just make sure you ask early if you have some kind of promotional deal to make sure they will honor it.
The menu seemed to change along with prices during the planning for our wedding. That got a little confusing at times.
Praise:
After our misadventures with Jeff Sands, we were assigned Mrs. Terry Hall to work with us on our event. Working with her was spectacular. Although being busy with many other events, she made maximum effort to be available to us either by email, phone, or in person to answer our questions. Also, she honored all the promises given to us by our previous POC (even though not all of it was in the contract...). She was very detail oriented and took care to make sure everything was nailed down for our event. By the day of the event, I and my wife only had to worry about not tripping walking down the aisle... The room was beautiful and all of the vendors were integrated seamlessly. Also, Mrs. Hall went above and beyond the call of duty to work with a Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia to help bring them in as a caterer at our event. Working with her helped us alleviate of the stress we had encountered before.
The guests at our event were very impressed by the food. The fine folks at the Mansion get the credit for this.
Our bridal attendant Brad was great. My wife had plenty of requests for him and he handled them gracefully.
The room was decorated beautifully and everything was ready on time for our event. The folks at the Mansion made it look easy.
I had a private sit-down dinner reception for my wedding in November. The food, the room, the attendants... everything was perfect.
I just had an actual reception there in April for 100 people. Again, I cannot rave enough. I worked with Terry and she as outstanding. She worked with me on the room layout, the food and all the details. I had butlered appetizers and 4 stations for dinner. My guests could not stop talking about how excellent the food was. My maitre d BethAnne kept everything running smoothly and I cannot say enough about my attendant Rob.
I would definitely go back to the Mansion for another event. The pricing is very reasonable considering everything you get!
At first things were crazy. I arrived early to take pictures before my ceremony, and they had 3 weddings going on at that time, my room wasn't even set yet. The closer my time got the more organized and set up everything got. Jeff was my wedding planner and he was fabulous. My wedding took 2 years to plan and he stayed true to his word and my wedding was absolutely beautiful! Great food, great service, and the ballrooms and ceremony spaces were beautiful!
I held my ceremony and reception at The Mansion. It was beautiful! You get so much for what you pay for.
After a horrible mishap with my original venue's preferred caterer, I was forced to move my wedding venue. I was so stressed out at the time, but moving my ceremony and reception to The Mansion turned out to be a wonderful blessing in disguise! They had better food and service and I think I got a MUCH better deal for my money! There was so much more included in the total per head than at my previous location/caterer.
Originally I was trying to find a new place to hold the ceremony because I was "locked in" at my previous venue for the reception, but every venue I contacted would not do a ceremony only or they charged an outrageous fee I wasn't paying previously (our ceremony was going to be held at the caterer's site, but they overbooked after I had a signed contract with them for well over a year). Once I realized it was going to be nearly impossible to find a place I liked and would do a ceremony only, I knew I had to move everything.
Jeff Sands was fantastic from the very beginning. He squeezed me in right away for a meeting/tour because they were almost booked for my wedding day. He was very easy to talk to and understood my situation and budget. The package options are not rigid and he easily took things away we didn't need. During the planning process, he was always very quick to respond to my hundreds of questions. On the wedding day the entire staff was very friendly and helpful and bent over backwards for us and the guests! There were several miscommunications during the day, but we worked through them and in the end they were small things that didn't matter much anyway - I don't think any of the guests knew about them anyway because they said everything seemed so organized and perfect. I know my family and guests were all thrilled with the staff and food there! A lot of the things I thought I was going to have to handle myself The Mansion staff took care of too!
So while having to change my venue unexpectedly was stressful and frustrating, it was a blessing in disguise because I think The Mansion staff are much more professional and knowledgeable and I believe I had a much better experience than I would have had at the previous venue. My only regret is not having gone to The Mansion first!
The Mansion not only was a beautiful place, but the people were super friendly and attentive to not only my needs but everyone of my guests. I was very happy with my wedding and ceremony. My guests can't stop raving about how much fun they had and how good the food was.
I was so lucky to find out that the Mansion on Main Street allows you to use them for just a ceremony location. I was planning a small wedding and knew that I didn't want the ballroom type feel as I knew my wedding would be overwhelmed in their beautiful (yet large) space. Jeff was awesome to work with! In order to use their beautiful outdoor location, I had to hold either my rehearsal dinner or Sunday brunch there. I chose rehearsal dinner. The best thing about them is that while their outdoor ceremony location is STUNNING - all white gazebo, white chairs, beautiful flowers, you also get a built in indoor option in their all glass pavilion. I could not have found a better outdoor ceremony option and rain option. My rehearsal dinner was great! Everyone I worked with on the day of was very accommodating. They definitely know what they are doing and you can trust that your guests and wedding party will be well taken care of. Thank you!
I just got married at The Mansion and I would highly recommend anyone to have their venue there. Now, we got married at a church and had the reception at The mansion. Cocktail hour was on the second floor and we had the whole third floor for the reception. I would highly recommend working with Jeff , he did everything we asked him to do and more! The food was fantastic, not one person complained. Everyone could not stop raving about how amazing the service was. We also had Bon and sojourn as our maitre d and they were fantastic! They were at our sides throughout the night and made sure everything ran smoothly.
We were married here back on 6/15/13 and what an awesome experience it turned out to be! Dawn our personal attendant was absolutely amazing! When I needed a minute to catch my breathe or just something to eat or drink she was always two steps ahead. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat. The food was mouth watering and they made sure we had exactly what we wanted in the bar all night long. Samantha and my "day of coordinator" worked very well together and I'm so happy we made the right choice in our overall wedding team. Thanks again to The Staff @ The Mansion and see you soon for brunch!
The Mansion on Main Street definitely deserves more then 5 stars. Our wedding was a dream come true. Everything was perfect. They have an amazing staff that my guest have been raving to us about every time we see them. Our personal bridal attendant was fantastic! She was there by our side from the minute we walked in to the second we walked out. I couldn't have asked for a better day. The food was delicious, and was presented beautifully. The bartenders were so efficient and friendly. Our pictures even came back beautifully because of all of the amazing background the mansion had to offer (the staircase, the stained glass windows, the willow tree, etc). We are so glad we chose The Mansion on Main Street to have our ceremony and reception at. It was such a wonderful day and I wouldn't have changed a thing. I would absolutely recommend this venue to all future brides and grooms.
The Mansion on Main Street really knows how to throw a celebration! My wedding was fabulous! There was so much food at the cocktail hour and a half and even more delicious food at the reception dinner! Every thing was superb! 5+ stars to The Mansion on Main Street!
My husband and I recently got married at the Mansion. Everything was amazing from start to finish. We worked with Jeff from the very beginning. He was always available to answer questions or calm nerves. When it came to the wedding day, everything was picture perfect. Our matre ds were Rob and Sojourn. I don't even have the words to describe how caring and helpful they were. Whenever you turned around, one of them was right there. My inner bridezilla was tamed by the fact that Rob and Sojourn are absolutely the most professional and organized wedding coordinators I could have had on my BIG day!
I knew from the moment I walked into The Mansion that that is where I wanted to have my wedding. They set you up with a bridal coordinator there, her name was Samantha. She was absolutely amazing and got back to me ASAP on any questions that I had. The Mansion was very easy to work with. From tasting the food to picking the linens, it was very unstressful. I do not have one bad thing to say about it. I loved every moment of my wedding day and without The Mansion I do not think it would have been as perfect as it was. I would recommend anyone to at least go and look at their venue. It has breathtaking views and they offer an indoor and outdoor area to get married in. We were going to do outdoor, but as soon as we saw the indoor are, we fell in love and knew we had to get married there. The food was absolutely amazing. All of my wedding guests have commented on the food to me and I did not hear one bad review. From start to finish I enjoyed my whole experience with The Mansion.
We chose the Mansion for our wedding because they happened to have our date available and gave us by far the best price for a 175 person wedding. Planning was fine and Samantha in general was great about walking through the process and responding to emails. My main complaint is that it is indeed a wedding factory and they do so many events and weddings every day that it was a little overwhelming the day of the event. We knew there was at least one wedding earlier that day but we did not know that they would also be using the same ceremony space and that there were in fact 3 weddings all using the ceremony space over the course of 2 hours. While the Mansion staff were all friendly and helpful, it was very overwhelming to show up to take pictures and have several other large events going on and people everywhere. Not to mention that they left flowers in the the ceremony space from a previous wedding that were not my flowers. But the food was great and my guests enjoyed themselves overall. Plus they threw in a free ice cream bar. Rob was my attendant that day and he was amazing! So overall, if you are willing to put up with some chaos and other weddings going on, it was a great deal for a bigger wedding.
The Mansion on Main Street made my special day even more wonderful. The reception room and ceremony room looked beautiful. We were able to take pictures on the grounds. The staff were absolutely wonderful to my family and friends and everything was set up just as I had asked. And the food..amazing! I did not have to worry about a thing that day. I would definitly recommend them to anyone
We had our reception at The Mansionon Main Street and it es absolutely perfect! Samantha Ridge was our coordinator and she was FABULOUS!!! She made sure everything was in order throughout the planning process, and she was so nice about answering our many questions and concerns. Everything was perfect. We were in the Windsor Grand room, so we had access to the garden room and the outside patio and grounds which was really nice. The place is beautiful, the food was amazing, And the staff is great. We were VERY pleased.
Our wedding reception was held in the newly renovated Versailles Room on the third floor (it's beautiful!) There are a lot of venues that are comparable to The Mansion in the SJ area, but here's what sets it apart from all of them: 1) The staff. Service at The Mansion is impeccable. Guests are still raving about the accommodating and personable table waiters, and our bridal consultant was our lifeline on our wedding day. 2) Attention to detail. I was worried that all of my DIY madness (table numbers, homemade favors, bathroom baskets, signage, etc...you know the drill) would be a lot for Jeff and the maitre'd Kim to deal with, but no one even batted an eye. They have so much experience hosting weddings -- nothing will trip them up! They set everything up exactly to my specifications and absolutely nothing got left behind on the day of. 3) Flexibility. The Mansion will accommodate any request. Want to write the herald trumpeter out of your contract to save some money? Not a problem. Want the favors to be handed out to the guests individually by an attendant at the end of the night? Not a problem. They will bend over backwards to meet your needs. 4) Value. You get so much for your money. Towards the end of our planning process, Jeff threw even more into our package, including a separate floor for cocktails, extra butlered hors d'oeuvres, and the potato parfait station (don't skip this, by the way, it turned out to be a huge hit!)
SJ Brides -- definitely don't overlook The Mansion in your venue search!
Samantha Ridge and the team at The Mansion on Main Street truly gave me the fairy tale wedding I always dreamed of! All the details were attended to, the room was gorgeous, and the food....UNTOUCHABLE!
The chef and food here is great! The wait staff serving your guests is very good. The problem here is the sales team that you have to work with to make it to the day of your event. I had so many issues I finally contacted the manager and he was very helpful. However, my wedding specialist was not on point and they act like it is your fault you need information in order to complete the process. My Maitre D' had a serious attitude and should be fired. Things were missing when I went to pick up my centerpieces and florist vases the following day. The day of feels very unorganized and I felt like I wasn't kept informed of what was going on. Their was no one outside to direct guests that did not use valet parking. My ceremony start time was pushed back and no one bothered to tell me prior, oh and I was ready, sitting and waiting! I would think long and hard before making a deposit here. I would only use them for a small event and only if I was working with the manager and not is other supposedly in the know specialist.
From the minute I became engaged, I knew that the Mansion was where I wanted to get married and I was ABSOLUTELY right! From our initial consultation with Samantha, I never looked at another venue. We booked a week later!
The entire Mansion staff is OUTSTANDING! Their expertise is VALUABLE, professionalism is IMMEASURABLE and their willingness to make your day an everlasting memory is PRICELESS. I own my own event planning company and was my own wedding planner. There are important things that need to take place in order to make wedding day memorable, the Mansion made sure each item was individually addressed. You only get one time to make a good first impression and the Mansion did just that!
Samantha, Joe, Rob, Bonnie and Sojourn are and were the BEST! They made sure both my husband and I were taken care of and happy at all times. Samantha & Joe went over and beyond for us. We experienced some financial hardships along the way, however Samantha & Joe still ensured we got everything we asked for and wanted plus more. I had the entire property to me that day, so my girls and I were able to utilize one of the rooms for hair and makeup, all the bridal salons were open for my use and the guys had an entire room for them as well. Hint: get married during off peak season and on a Friday!
On my actual wedding day Rob was by my side the ENTIRE time and when he wasn’t with me he was catering to my husband and his wolf pack. Sojourn assisted with my rehearsal, ceremony setup and reception setup and anything else I needed from her. Bonnie made sure all my I’s were dotted and T’s were crossed. She didn’t miss one dot or cross. The food and service was impeccable. No one guest complained about the food presentation or taste, only the highest compliments were given. I can not say thank you enough to entire Mansion staff!
If I can get any bit of advice to the brides to be to ensure you get the best out of your day. Prepare and plan accordingly, create checklist for everyone, ensure everyone is on board with your expectations, expect things to go wrong, but most of all enjoy your day! Because I had all these things in place, I had the BEST wedding experience ever, WITHOUT any disruptions or mishaps and this all happened with the help of the Mansion!
People are still talking about how beautiful my wedding was, and the great service they recieved from the Mansion Staff. The grounds were beautiful for pictures, and my gust were alway attended too! I got so many compliments on the food as well. It was professional, and didnt taste like regular catering hall food. It was served hot and the portions were just right.I can't thank Jeff Sand's our coordinator enough for everything he did for us. I am so happy I chose The Mansion from the grounds to the food to the staff ( Sojurn and Bob) evrything was perfect!
From the day we first toured The Mansion on Main Street, the staff was nothing short of spectaclar and accomodating. Samantha was our event coordinator and she was fantastic as responding to my e-mails with questions and concerns. The night of everything ran smoothly and the staff was always there to help. The only downfall was that there were multiple events and another wedding right next door to ours, but it didn't conflict much. I would recommend The Mansion to any bride and groom.
Our ceremony and reception at The Mansion were wonderful; HOWEVER, the year leading up to the wedding was painful to say the least. Our biggest hurdle was dealing with our coordinator Jeff. To be honest, I felt like he could have cared less about our wedding. He made me feel as though I was an extreme annoyance whenever I would make contact with him. His emails and phone correspondence were unprofessional and he rarely answered the questions at hand. He promised things by word of mouth and then retracted them because he “never wrote it down.” (My mom and I learned this early on and began writing EVERYTHING down.) I understand that The Mansion does weddings all the time, but this was the first wedding for my family to plan and we did not know what we were doing. Jeff assuring us that, “It’ll be fine” when he refused to directly answer any of my questions really did not ease my stress. The day of the wedding, Jeff was extremely rude to my photographers who had questions for him on where they were allowed to go to shoot and he was also rude and unhelpful with my aunt who needed to decorate for our ceremony. Other than that, the site is beautiful and the food is very good. But if I had to do it over again, I would not have held my wedding there.
I love that they catered to our every need. Anything that we asked for they arranged. For example my husband only drinks Guiness and they made sure that there was plenty for him. They made sure that our drinks were never empty. They did a fabulous job setting everything up - you get nervous - just dropping off everything in boxes etc. but they made sure it came together really nicely. We had very unique place card holders and favors -- they made sure that these were presented in a really elegant way.
Everything from start to finish was first class at the Mansion. We planned our wedding from 3,000 miles away and they were flexible and helpful working with us to make sure everything ran smoothly. The bridal attendant was fantastic and knew exactly what I needed the entire time I was there. I had many small personal touches I wanted to be included and they made sure everything looked beautiful and was the way I wanted it to be.
I loved everything from the location food and all the staff involved in helping make our wedding the best! I would totally recommend The Mansion On Main!
the outdoor cocktail hour area was great especially for the time of year (spring) as well as the scenic lake. the site manager (samantha) was great to work with - always accessible and very willing to help.;the indoor area can be dim as well as that the reception venue can and will hold multiple events in one night.
Everything! The staff was very attentive and helpful. Everything went very smoothly.;The Bridal Suite is VERY SMALL on the 3rd floor. But you don't spend much time there anyway.
It was DREAMY!! A womans perfect dream wedding came true.. The opulence and elegance was beyond perfect if thats what you like. Winding staircases gold appointments marble floors.. Just pure elegance!
The atmosphere is beautiful very attentive staff great attention to details.
It was breathtaking. The Mansion has an amazing reputation- the staff was wonderful and would do anything you asked! Top notch service food view ambiance etc;The AC was on in our ceremony room and people in the back couldn't hear- be careful if you have an indoor summer wedding ceremony
It was elegant and the service was outstanding. They were very organized yet accomodating to my specific requests.
It was a beautiful venue.;There are alot of other events going on at the same time, it can get frustrating as you are arriving and leaving. When I got to The Mansion on my wedding day there was a Bar Mitzvah in the room where my reception was taking place, including screaming children and loud rap music from their dj, and the staff shoved me and my bridesmaids into a tiny little bridal salon and left us there for about 45 minutes. Then after the Bar Mitzvah was over the vendors were taking their time leaving, and it was a big rush to get the room set up for us, leaving my dj with barley enough time to set up his equipment before he had to do the music for our ceremony. Also the staff was so rushed I caught them putting the wrong details on the tables, and had to hunt somebody down to change it, and they were not pleased that I was confronting them. Overall, too much chaos, use another venue.
