I don’t even know where to begin... everything about Blue Heron Pine was extraordinary and absolutely perfect down to each tiny detail. The venue itself is stunning and provided an intiment feeling. Tara is beyond pleasant and extremely helpful. She was such a delight to work with and made the event planning process a breeze. She provided us with the exact brunch wedding of our dreams and went above and beyond to make our day a special occasion! Our concierges, Faith and Sara, were very attentive to my husband and my every need and want. They had smiles on their faces the entire day and were happy to help no matter the task. We got married at BHP on September 2nd 2018 and everything was amazing!!!! We were blown away by all of the amazing details of our special day. The staff at BHP did a great job of placing all of our decorations in the right place and make the room look beautiful! Leading up to the big day Tara was very responsive to emails and addressed any of our questions/concerns very promptly. On the day of Sarah was SO attentive and there every second of the way. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept us on schedule. And she is super sweet! We couldn't have asked for a better Maitre D. We also loved the little touches, like the champagne and cheese tray waiting for us when we arrived to the bridal suite. Our guests all raved about the food and loved the dessert room! The only negative feedback I heard was that at the cocktail hour the bar got pretty backed up and they needed to bring out an extra bartender. We also heard there were no plates or forks set out for the food. Other than that, everything was perfect!!!

My husband and I were married at Blue Heron Pines on 8/18/18 and it was nothing short of a Dream. The staff was so helpful, friendly and on top of everything. The food was delicious, the bar tenders did a great job. We had such a blast, and definitely a night to remember. I will always recommend Blue Heron and their fantastic venue, customer service, and overall service for weddings and other occassions.

Tara, Sarah, and Ryan were beyond amazing to work with. Our day went perfectly. We never had to worry about anything, just enjoying our day. We got so many compliments through the night about how beautiful the venue is. They far exceeded our expectations!

We had our wedding on August 12th 2018. When my search for a venue started, it was a stressful time, we were suppose to have a destination wedding, however due to family circumstances we couldn't. In my search I ran into many walls due to our count and the date. One day I was defeated, when I found Blue Heron Pines Golf Club. The minute I saw the venue it was a dream come true. It looked like you were transported to a destination place. The inside is gorgeous, it high ceilings, and open windows allow you to see the gorgeous view of green. The ambiance is magical. What completes it, is the service. Tara, & Sarah, and Dana who we originally spoke too, were absolutely amazing. They heard everything we wanted and made it come true. They followed up, and sent reminders. The peace of mind that they were always on top of everything was extremely helpful during the planning process. Even leading to the day, I dropped off the decorations, and sent them a email with the details. They managed everything perfectly. When we walked into that room, I couldn't believe my eyes, it was like a dream come true. The ambiance, colors, and linens, placement of decorations, and just the overall environment was amazing. Sarah, and the entire staff, were attentive, organized, and very friendly. They were always asking if we were okay and if we needed anything. I can honestly say my wedding day was a true success because of everyone involved and Blue Heron Pines. We will always go back for future events. Thank You Everyone!

Blue Heron was the PERFECT place for our August 3, 2018 wedding. From the first phone call, Tara was easy to work with and super accommodating. As soon as we first saw the place, we knew it was perfect! It is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Tara worked with us throughout the whole process and made our vision for our dream wedding come true, no matter how crazy our requests. Sarah was our maitre d on the day of the wedding and was so helpful with everything! Everything was set up even better than we could have imagined! The place looked beautiful!! We had our wedding at Blue Heron Pines on 7/21/18. We originally planned for an outdoor ceremony, but nature had other plans. The staff at Blue Heron transformed the ballroom into a beautiful ceremony space. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful everything looked. The staff at Blue Heron quickly transformed the space during cocktail hour into the amazing reception. The ballroom looked exactly how I envisioned. BHP went above and beyond to set up my decor exactly the way I wanted it. It looked amazing! We had the Timeless Teal package, and my guests could not stop talking about how great the food was! We chose buffet so guests had a variety of food to choose from, a lot of our guests even went up for more! The desert room is an excellent feature to this package, all of my guests were so excited to explore the desert room. The bread pudding was a big hit! BHP provided the cake through Simply Sweet Cupcakes, and the almond cake with red raspberry filling was absolutely delicious. BHP was extremely accommodating the day of the wedding, and the maitre d' Ali- was fantastic! She always made sure we had food, drinks, and gave me updates on timing throughout the night which was super helpful. From the beginning, Tara was responsive to any and all emails, no matter how silly the questions may have been! She was very accommodating to all of our needs and wants. We had an amazing day at BHP and I would recommend this venue for anyone looking for their dream "rustic chic" wedding.

We couldn't have been more pleased with my daughter's wedding. The staff at Blue Heron Pines is top notch! Tara is an excellent coordinator. She didn't miss one detail and was always more than helpful with my requests (and I had quite a few). I never waited more than an hour for a call back, emails were always answered promptly. It is really a "team" effort here. We rented antique doors for the outdoor ceremony which fell down and broke. The staff came up with a solution because they knew my daughter's heart was set on them....not one person knew they had broken. Excellent all around!

Tara, Dana, and the entire Blue Heron staff were wonderful during this wedding planning process. Tara and Dana were so accommodating and never made me feel like my (many) questions were ever a burden or annoying. The day itself could not have gone any better! My decorations were set up just as I asked, the bridal suite was checked on frequently, and the matre d was available to me the entire evening. We truly appreciated their attention to detail, making sure that everything was to our liking, ensuring an absolutely perfect day.

Everything about this venue was absolutely amazing. Dana and Tara are so helpful and made the wedding planning process go very smoothly. I had a military style wedding with humvees and a cannon, and they were so great with accommodations (i.e., letting us fire off a cannon on their golf course!!!). We got so many compliments on how great the food was, how awesome the service was, and how we picked a beautiful venue. Our wedding turned out to be the best day ever and we are so happy we chose Blue Heron Pines as our venue.

My husband and I cannot recommend Blue Heron Pines enough! Our wedding was the most perfect day we could ever of hoped for and we still have guests talking about our day and its been 6 months!! Tara and Dana truly listened to us and helped us bring our vision to life. They answered all emails quickly and were able to answer any questions we had. The rehearsal was smooth and they were able to make sure our large bridal party knew exactly what to do the day of. The day of Tara and Dana made sure the bridal party had everything we needed and made sure we stayed on schedule. They were very attentive and helped me to have the most stress free time getting ready. Our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. The food was SO amazing and the drinks were fantastic! The waitstaff was extremely attentive and made sure empty glasses were removed from the table promptly. They also were so much fun and interacted with our guests (That was one of our favorite unexpected moments of the night)! We honestly cannot rave enough about Blue Heron Pines!

5 stars isn't enough to show my appreciation for everyone at Blue Heron Pines! Tara and Dana were so helpful throughout the whole planning process, especially since I live out of state. The day of the wedding was so perfect. Everyone was so attentive, friendly, and kind. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the food and dessert was amazing! It was 30 degrees the day of my "spring" wedding, and while outside taking pictures, they brought out some hot chocolate to warm us up! They went above and beyond for us and we cannot thank Blue Heron Pines enough.

Blue Heron Pines was the perfect venue for our wedding! Tara and Dana were so helpful to make our wedding day perfect, they answered any and all of my questions promptly and made the process so easy! We were able to find a package that met all of our requirements and fell within our budget. We had a winter wedding, and the staff made heated outdoor space available for cocktail hour and reception. My bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law and myself got ready in the bridal suite, and the staff provided us with food and beverages. My husband and I had our wedding at Blue Heron Pines this August 2017, and it was perfect! The wedding coordinators were a pleasure to work with and understood everything we wanted for our special day. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive and checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy with everything. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the venue and team of BHP. I fell in love with the rustic style and intimate feeling of this venue when I found it on the internet and it is just as breathtaking in person! Tara & Dana were super helpful in the planning process and extremely prompt and knowledgeable when responding to emails (and every little last minute question!) On our big day, Vickie, my maitre d, was always there when I needed something and (never there hovering when I didn't) ;). I didn't have to worry about eating or finding a drink at all and she made sure we got to see (and taste) everything before the rest of our guests did! Did I mention the food? All guests raved about it! They even invite you to a tasting a few months before your wedding. This was crucial to us because we did end up changing our minds / menu and were super grateful we got the option to try all the foods we had and hadn't selected. We had about 125 guests and it was the perfect size for our group. Can't say enough about this place!!!

Having our wedding at Blue Heron Pines was the best decision we made and everything about the venue was perfect for what we were looking for. It fit our budget, had great food, perfect ceremony space, and had the rustic charm we wanted. All of our guests commented on how unique the venue was and how beautiful everything looked. Most of the beauty came from was just the natural charm and decor of the venue. They hung lights for us as well which added to the ambiance of the night Blue Heron Pines also had a great staff who helped guide us through the process. Tara and Dana were great with finalizing all the necessary details and being very accommodating with any changes we needed to make. Victoria was also amazing the day of our event. She made sure everything was perfect and took care of anything we might have needed. I highly recommend looking into Blue Heron Pines and would use them again for other events in the future.

I would highly recommend Blue Heron to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding. We absolutely fell in love this this place when we took a tour (even though it was a really rainy day) because that’s how amazing this place is. Tara and Dana were so wonderful and easy to work with. Our wedding was a few weeks ago in June and could not have been happier. Everything went so smooth I was never stressed on the day of the wedding. We have heard so many amazing things from our guests from how amazing the food was, the dessert room (yes, a whole room), and the beautiful venue. The place is so nice on its own were able to do just simple table flowers and decorations and it looked amazing. The chef is amazing! From the day we met him at the tasting to the end of the wedding the food was 100% perfect. Having food allergies to work around I was worried but they were so good about everything I didn’t have to worry! Our Maître D the night of the wedding (Ali) was amazing. She was always there if we needed anything but not in a way that we felt she was hovering. We cannot thank everyone at Blue Heron enough for making our day ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!

I was planning my wedding a year and a half in advance and blue heron pines was always there every step of the way to ensure the planning process was going smoothly and on track. My wedding day was so prefect and I had no problems at all!

From start to finish, the staff at Blue Heron Pines made everything about planning our wedding completely stress-free! Always willing to answer all of our questions, there was always a clear line of communication which allowed for the days leading up to the wedding to be easy and relaxed. On the day of, the staff made sure that all of our needs were met, as well as all of the needs of our guests! The food was wonderful, and our dessert room was out of this world! Definitely a beautiful place to have an intimate wedding! We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our day!!

From start to finish, Tara and Dana, were there answering emails and helping me plan the greatest day of my life! From the tasting, trying food options and then changing some of the choices, they rolled with it. On the rehearsal day, victoria our matre-d led us through it and made us feel comfortable and ready for the wedding day. On wedding day, we came in early and we're treated to water and champagne in the bridal suite as we were getting ready. It was truly a magical day and one that I will remember forever. Our day went seamlessly because of Tara and Victoria keeping us on time for the ceremony etc. the food was great and everyone that came to the wedding is still raving about the venue, the food, and the service! We are so happy that we did not pick any other venue! The way they used our decorations and added some from what they had made our dream wedding a reality! I can't say enough good things about blue heron. :)

I can't say enough GREAT things about this venue, I booked my date pretty far out and through the entire planning process Tara and her staff were accessible and always willing to help with any questions or concerns I had! The venue, staff, food, drinks and atmosphere was everything we were looking for and the day of the wedding went absolutely perfect, seamless at that. I honestly didn't have to worry about anything, the staff here go above and beyond your expectations. I still continue to get compliments about how much my guests enjoyed our wedding! I don't even know where to start, so many great things to say about Blue Heron Pines. Our wedding was there on 11/12/16. Everything was perfect and I would recommend them to everyone and anyone! I got ready in the bridal suite which is a great amenity. We used the golf carts for pictures which is great because we were able to get pictures in multiple locations. We had 149 people and it was not crowded. Our ceremony was outside and then cocktail hour was in the tent. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was awesome! I wish I ate more appetizers, they were so good! We served our cake in the dessert room with an ice cream bar. It looked beautiful and our guests loved it. I upgraded the linens and it was so worth it. My guests loved the exposed beams in the ceilings, so did my husband and I, one of the reasons why we picked the venue. Our food tasting was amazing and fun. The event team, Tara and Kristen, were so helpful and answered all my many emails. They decorated perfectly and were on point with everything. They helped with every step along the way. This was a huge plus, I didn't need to hire anyone to help me because these women had everything handled. Overall we Loved Blue Heron Pines, if it were up to me everyone would get married there!

I couldn't have been more happy with my choice of Blue Heron Pines for my wedding on 10/29. It was nothing short of AMAZING! I cannot say enough about Tara and staff at Blue Heron. Tara was always available to answer any and all questions and always responded promptly! They worked with me and helped me create the perfect wedding! My husband and I booked this venue two years in advance (8/14). In those two years, Tara was there for us- month after month, assuring me that we were on the right track with planning. She was honest, compassionate and personable. She was also quick to talk to via phone or email. I can't say enough good about her. Kristin was great too- she helped with details before the wedding and made it easy for me to explain what we wanted the decor to look like and the timeline. During that time, my nerves were apparent and I started getting scatter brained but Kristen kept me on track which was much appreciated. When it came time for the wedding, everything was perfect. Tara, her whole staff and Krista (maitre de) were there every step of the way making sure our day went smooth. Krista was actually the best touch of the night- she continually made sure our needs were met (full drinks, ensured our time line was stuck too and that we ate). Our Guest continue to tell us that the food was amazing (especially the variety offered) and the bartenders were great making sure drinks were efficiently made :) Thanks Kathy and Ann Marie!!! The whole experience was perfect and we cant thank BHP enough for the exceptional service, great food and beautiful venue. I would chose BHP over and over again... and you should too!

Ever since we visited Blue Heron Pines, we knew that was the perfect place for us. It's unique, elegant and just the perfect space. We were amazed us by the variety and the value of the packages they offer. We had a Friday wedding and chose the Sapphire package. You can't go wrong with a sit down dinner. The cake is a nice add on with this package and also the amazing dessert room!! My guests were delighted and loved it! The food was delicious. The chef was a pleasure to work with during the food tasting - thank you, Chef George! Tara Horton is the event planner - she is great to work with and a great professional! Our MatreD' - Kristin was my right hand during the wedding night. She made sure we had food and drinks, kept us on schedule. We can't say enough for all the team - thank you, Tara, Kristin, chef George and all BHP employees. You guys worked so hard and our wedding was a dream came true!

Kristen and Tara at Blue Heron were so easy to work with and made our day flow perfectly. They seemed very casual, but that's because they know what they are doing! Kristen worked hard the day of our wedding to ensure all of our decor and activities were set up exactly how we wanted. I could not have imagined it turning out more beautiful. They even cleaned up after the event, and packed all of our stuff into the boxes we brought - all we had to do was pick it up the next day! Granted a few items were missing, but nothing to take away from the ease and happiness that came from having our event at Blue Heron. AND THAT DESSERT ROOM!!!!

The food was amazing and the chef was very easy to work with. The the day of our wedding, I had an assistant (forget her name right now) and she was amazing. Blue heron was our dream wedding! We've been married for almost a year now and have recommended many of our friends to this venue. It's beautiful and perfect for any occasion. The people you will work with (Tara and Erin) are the sweetest and are there to help whenever you need it. They didn't even get tired of all my silly questions 😬 they set everything up perfectly and it took a lot of the stress off the big day. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is all around AMAZING! If you want a venue who's willing to work with what you want, has amazing staff, delicious food and overall makes the day run very smoothly then definitely go with blue heron 😍😍😍

My husband and I recently held at our wedding ceremony and reception at the beautiful Blue Heron Pine's Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey. I knew I wanted a November wedding, I knew I wanted rustic, and I knew I wanted somewhere that could accommodate our whole day from start to finish. I went to quite a few places and Blue Heron Pines was our last stop, I actually had a courtesy hold on our date somewhere else, until I came to a winter themed Bridal Show and fell IN LOVE with nothing other than ceilings ! Sounds weird until you see them. If you are a south jersey bride, looking for a rustic feel, these ceilings will wow you. Now I promise I did not book this venue just for the ceilings. It just felt right and of course our wedding date was THE ONLY saturday left in all of Fall 2015 so I knew it was the right match. As a bride you want your day to be perfect, from the flowers, the cake, the DJ, the decorations and all things in between but one thing that is VERY important to my husband and I is the quality of service and the quality of food for our guests. BHP did not disappoint in either category. Tara, Molly and the rest of the team were always so prompt and helpful with the tens of thousands questions brides are bound to come up with and the Chef is a mastermind. I mean- bruschetta made from plantains and mango? , amazing. Seriously the food -from the presentation, to the taste ,to the quality is so amazing and guests are still raving. From the beginning of our planning process I knew we were in th right hands! The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club could not have done a better job ! Tara is simply amazing! If ever we had a question she responded within the same day! Everything about our entire wedding was everything we ever dreamed of! Erin also did a fantastic job at running the night and making sure everything went smooth! The price was fantastic and included everything they had said, there was no hidden fees. Blue heron pines was one of the first places my husband and I looked at when we started wedding planning. After attending their winter open house we booked them and we could not be happier. Tara was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had and helped make our wedding planning a smooth process. The day of our wedding Erin took great care of us. We even got a chance to eat and had plenty of time to mingle with our guests. Everyone raved about the food, and had a great time drinking and dancing. The food is great, the venue is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

My husband and I looked at a couple venues but knew Blue Heron was the one! We had come to see the venue about 2-3 times before booking our date and Tara was very very accommodating. Because I was the first one to get married in my family, I had no idea how to plan a wedding but Tara answered all of my questions along the way. I loved that Blue Heron had spring and fall events, which allowed you to try the food and find local vendors. Once we booked the venue, everything was smooth sailing. We kept flipping on which food package to chose but ended up going with the Timeless Teal Package and was very happy with the amount of food and booze we received (although I wish I had an opportunity to eat!) I loved how Tara & Erin allowed us to drop off our decorations a week before the big day so we didn’t have to stress about bringing everything the day of! I loved how I was able to tell them exactly how I wanted everything set up. I loved that the day of, we needed extra wood slices for our centerpieces and staff went to the store to pick it up! Our guests loved that the ceremony was walking distance from the cocktail hour and reception. If you do have a cold day (like mine) the cocktail hour area was tight for 126 people but it was definitely cozy and warm for the guests. Again, I was very happy with the planning process, I do wish I had a little more direction the day of the rehearsal from the maître d’ because we did not know what to do and I felt like I had to Google how to run a ceremony. Other than that, we had an awesome time on October 17, 2015 and our guests did as well! The only negative thing I could think of is no cell service in the bridal suite. I had vendors calling me but I was never able to communicate with anyone while I was downstairs getting my hair and makeup done. Other than that, Tara & Erin were great! We were so happy with the day & day after because they were able to work with us and pack up all our decorations so we could haul it back to our house! I would recommend this venue to everyone because it’s a great value, friendly service, and convenient!

Blue Heron was amazingly perfect! Every step of the way they were so helpful for this not your typical girly girl with all the planning and answering of all questions! When I brought everything the day before and gave them notes to set up, it was even better than I imagined!! Erin was so awesome with everything and she was so attentive and amazing even when we were having problems with the DJ. I cant say enough great things about her and all that she did on our wedding day along with all of their staff! Finally the food was so mouthwatering it left everyone wanting more. Thank you to Blue Heron for making our wedding day perfect!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and how happy we are that we chose it! What sold me on Blue Heron Pines was first the exposed beams on the ballroom ceiling (from which you can hang lights, a look I love)/the beautiful separate dessert room, and second, the value for your money. I came to find out that the service was exceptional as well! Everything seemed to fit perfectly with the reception style we wanted which was somewhat rustic, travel-themed, and semi formal. From the moment we began planning with Tara Debski from Blue Heron Pines, I was so impressed with her detail oriented and professional approach to wedding planning. Every time I had a question (which seemed like every other week for about a year), Tara responded very quickly with a complete and friendly answer. She was always more than willing to help coordinate any details I was thinking of and explained costs, deadlines and other points very clearly to us during the planning process. You really get a bang for your buck at BHP - we chose the Timeless Teal package which included more than enough (delicious) food during cocktail hour and dinner, plus our wedding cake, plus booze. It was so convenient to have everything grouped together in one price per head so we didn't have to worry about hiring bartenders, finding a caterer or baker, or any of that. That honestly probably saved us not only a ton of money but a ton of stress as well! When it came to the big day, any concerns I had were immediately taken care of by the BHP staff (the positive "we will make it happen" kind of attitude) and they did an amazing job setting up all decorations I had made and prepared for the rooms. It honestly couldn't have looked better and I didn't have to worry about A THING. We had planned a special father daughter dance that involved a projector, screen and a video and when our DJ unfortunately refused to help with anything regarding that, the BHP staff stepped right in and coordinated all tech details to make sure the video played properly and all equipment was set up without a question. We had about 120 guests with 13 tables (plus the head table) and the ballroom seemed very full and the dance floor was the perfect size. Erin was our Maitre D' and did a fabulous job of taking care of us the whole night - making sure we always had food (delivered it right to our seats), drinks in our hands, everyone lined up where they needed to be, to-go boxes with extra food and cake (that we didn't get a chance to eat there so this really came in handy afterwards) - she thought of EVERYTHING. Amidst all the anxiety in getting ready, the actual wedding went so smoothly thanks to the BHP staff and I had guests complimenting me on the venue right and left. Our day was PERFECT and I know I can attribute that to Tara, Erin, and all of the people who worked hard in preparation and the day of. I would hands down recommend this venue to anyone in the South Jersey or tri-state area because I simply don't know how you can get much better, especially for the price. THANK YOU SO MUCH BHP!

As soon as I saw the venue, I knew it was where our wedding would be....we both loved the exposed beam look in the room, as well as the outside locations for ceremony and cocktail hour. Having a "one stop spot" for our entire wedding was what we wanted, and made it a lot less stressful. Tara was easy to work with throughout the planning process and answered any and all questions I had to make sure the night went off without a hitch. The day/night of the event, our Maitre'd, Erin, went absolutely above and beyond what I ever expected. She made sure I got first pick of hot appetizers, saw to it that I had a drink at all times, offered to make up my dinner plate for me, and boxed up a dinner to go for us both to take home with us. The next day, all of our decorations were neatly boxed up so that we could remove them easily. Everything turned out BETTER than we could have even hoped :)

Tara was absolutely amazing! She was attentive and detail oriented. Tara was more than willing to accommodate any desire or request made. I was worried prior to the day of because I had added so many personal touches and wanted them displayed in a specific way- and they set up everything perfect for the wedding. It literally was the most perfect day, I do not have one complaint. The beautiful venue looked even better in my pictures as well. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.

The TLDR of this review is: the service, scenery, and food that this venue provides is fantastic, especially at the prices they charge. BHP is SO affordable, and it's unbelievable that you get what you do for what you pay. - Everyone we spoke to (especially Tara and Mollie) were so delightful and may have been more excited for our wedding than we were! From day one, Tara was on the ball, answering my ridiculous emails that I would send in the middle of the night so quickly, I swear she never stops working. She was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and had the answers to all of my questions. The venue itself is very beautiful. When I started looking for a venue, I was leaning towards a barn or inn, because I loved that aesthetic. However, some of our family members have trouble walking and getting around, so a lot of the older buildings got nixed from the list just for inaccessibility. BHP had the best mix for me that reassured me that my guests would be comfortable and also gave me that beautiful open air look I wanted. The exposed beams of the ceiling in the ballroom are absolutely breathtaking and made it look so much different from a typical wedding ballroom. The pergola where we had the ceremony was so lovely, and I loved that my guests could go right from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception without much walking or hassle. The golf course gave us beautiful natural scenery for our pictures. We requested to have a food tasting before we booked because we are self-admitted food snobs, which Tara and the chef were happy to accommodate. The food was SO GOOD at the tasting that we were ready to put down a deposit after just eating the salads. Chef Jorge was so fun and passionate about the food that we knew we were in good hands. On the day before the wedding, we stopped by to drop off all of our little details and odds and ends for the wedding. Mollie and Tara were so organized and took copious notes on where everything was supposed to go so I had no worries on the day of that everything would look fabulous (and it did!!). The day of the wedding, it was all hands on deck, and there were so many helpful and wonderful staff there to assist us with everything. Mollie was on the ball and quickly got us anything we needed and kept us on our timeline. The only negative thing I have to comment on was that almost every single steak that was served during our reception was very overcooked (very well done). We had discussed having all of the steaks cooked to medium rare, so it was a little disappointing to have the steak be overcooked. We asked to have our steak redone because it was more or less inedible, and the second time it came back, it was still overcooked. HOWEVER all of the other food was absolutely delicious, and in the end, there was plenty of other food to eat, so it wasn't as if we went hungry. That was the one and only thing that went wrong throughout our entire experience, so I am still happy to give BHP 5 stars regardless. The dessert room BHP provided was ridiculous and fun. We didn't tell any of our guests about it, so when it was opened and announced, people were so excited to have something other than boring old cake to eat! All of the treats were delicious and my husband still talks about the bread pudding months later. Overall, BHP is a such wonderful venue and I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a venue at any budget.

I recently was married at Blue Heron Pines, and I couldn't be happier with my choice to have our wedding ceremony and reception at this beautiful venue! Tara and Mollie were excellent throughout the whole process from start to finish. These ladies were always available for my every question or concern especially in the days leading up to the wedding! The chef was also very accommodating with special and last minute requests we had for the menu. In addition the venue is gorgeous, the food is amazing, and the value cannot be topped in the south jersey area. Thank you to the entire staff at blue heron for an amazing wedding that I will never forget!

Blue Heron Pines proved to be everything we hoped it would be and much much more. Working with Tara and Mollie was a breeze. They helped to make the process go smoothly from our first conversation through the day after the wedding. This is an absolutely gorgeous venue!! The food is delicious and the chef is a joy. The staff were phenomenal in setting up and the service was flawless. Erin, the Maitre D was incredible as well. My husband and I were able to enjoy our day without any concern or worry. We had our wedding at Blue Heron Pines and from the second we walked in last year to book the wedding, we knew we were making the right decision. Tara and Mollie were such a tremendous help to us over the last year, helping us with getting all of our details together to answering what seemed like my unending questions, all with a smile! During the rehearsal, we got all of our last minute details together and they made our wedding day go smoothly. Erin, our Maitre D, was incredible, as well as Tara and Mollie, who were all there and helped to make our day so wonderful. My wedding party got ready the day of and they were always checking in, making sure we were okay, and didn't have one problem with us sneaking up to see how the room was coming along throughout the day! All and all, it was an absolutely beautiful reception, the food was incredible, the service was wonderful, and we have had non stop compliments on how our day went. Thank you so much to everyone and Blue Heron for making our day so memorable! We loved every second of it!

The day ending up being literally picture perfect. The ballroom was gorgeous, we fell in love with the high ceilings. The Chef was awesome, you could tell how passionate he was! Tara was great, she was there for us every single step of the way. The staff on the day of was amazing too (especially my maitre d' Erin), they made sure every little detail was taken care of and the room ended up looking exactly how I pictured it. My two favorite things were the gorgeous bridal suite that I used to get ready all day and the dessert room at the end up the night! I would definitely recommend Blue Heron Pines to anyone searching for a venue!

My husband and I got married on October 11, 2014 at Blue Heron Pines. My bridesmaids and I used their facilities all day to get ready and it was perfect. It was raining on and off all day, but the ceremony was still set up outside. They allowed us to wait until half an hour before the wedding to decide if we wanted to hold the ceremony outside and then dried all the chairs for the guests right before the ceremony started. The one thing I was unhappy about, was that Olivia (who is taking over for Tara during her pregnancy leave), would not allow us to close the shades in the bar while we were outside taking pictures before the ceremony so everyone could see us before they were supposed to. Erin, out maitre'd did end up closing the blinds which I appreciated. Tara was great through the entire planning process. However, if I went and had met with Olivia rather than Tara, I don't know that I would have booked there. She was rude, defensive, and unwilling to help. Erin, our maitre'd was absolutely amazing, as were the rest of the staff that helped us throughout the day. The food and drinks were excellent. Overall, other than the one employee, the day was absolutely perfect and I could not have asked for a better wedding.

We couldn't be happier with Blue Heron. Tara was very helpful from day one until the day of the wedding. She was always there to answer all of my questions which was a great. On the day of our wedding Erin was on top of everything and made sure that we had everything we needed. The food was AMAZING! Everyone loved the Hors D'Oeuvres and the "Philly Station" during cocktail hour and the dinner. The dessert room was a big hit as well. Not to mention the venue is beautiful and the golf course was great for our photos. We highly recommend BHP to anyone looking for a venue.

Tara was great with all of the planning and details leading up to the wedding! The catering staff were great the whole day. Everything turned out perfect and just the way I had planned it! I definitely recommend Blue Heron for a wedding!

I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Blue Heron Pines! Tara was always there to answer my questions leading up to the day and then not only is the bridal suite the perfect place to get ready but you don't have to worry about a thing. Erin was checking in on me all throughout the day and made me feel very at ease about everything. It was a beautiful set up and it looked exactly how I pictured! I would recommend this venue to any bride especially not trying to spend a ton of money, you definitely get the most for your money! I would do it a million times over there :)

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Blue Heron Pines for our reception. Tara was able to assist us with every detail from food to decor and always responded to emails within a day or two. We had a special request for no alcohol since most of our guests would not be drinking and a four hour reception instead of five. While other venues refused to accommodate us, Tara met our needs without hesitation. Our cocktail hour was wonderful, and our maitre-d Alyssa brought us hot hor-dourves while we took photos on the golf course. The dinner was also spectacular, and all our guests were happy with the meal and dessert room. Yes, they have a room full of fancy desserts and a chef making sundaes!!! Tara, Alyssa, and the rest of the team at Blue Heron Pines made our night very special and we couldn't thank them enough!

From start to finish, Blue Heron Pines went above and beyond to make my wedding the BEST night of my life. My review here today cannot express my gratitude enough. Blue Heron Pines greatly exceeded all of my expectations, and I honestly could not have asked for a better venue or a better night. The entire Blue Heron Pines staff, ESPECIALLY event coordinator, Tara Debski, worked so hard to ensure that our wedding night was perfect. They allowed us to put our personal touch on everything. The food was absolutely incredible, and I especially loved how we could choose the meals that we wanted for both the cocktail hour and the dinner. For example, although not on the menu, the chef made us barbeque chicken as one of our meal entrees. The entire venue is absolutely beautiful and scenic. The inside is new and remodeled with large windows and glass doors to allow plenty of sunlight and an absolutely incredible patio. We had cocktail hour on the patio overlooking the golf course with the sunset in the background. Our guests were then seated inside for the dinner. The dining room was beautiful and the dance floor was the perfect size for all of our guests. The staff was so incredibly attentive the entire wedding night to ensure that we were happy, satisfied, and that all of our wants and needs were met. As I had said before, from the start of the process until the very end, Blue Heron Pines went above and beyond. We had the best night of our lives, and I honestly cannot thank Blue Heron Pines enough!

Blue Heron Pines exceeded my expectations for our wedding, and was totally helpful throughout the whole process. The venue looked absolutely beautiful the day of the wedding, the brunch was delicious, and the service was exceptional. All of my guests had many wonderful comments to say about their overall experience. We had a memory of a lifetime, and I will be forever thankful! I highly recommend this venue if you are considering any type of event!

I had an amazing time at my wedding!! Tara and her staff were very on top of everything! I had almost no stress my entire planning they do almost all for you! I do have to put them down because of my cocktail hour!! All my h'ordervs were not brought out they brought out 4 other choices that I did not pick nor did I like! I choose my choices based on my guest I had children there so I wanted to make sure I please everyone! I am not pleased that they sent out nothing that I order! When writing them after the wedding I still have not gotten a response from them no sorry or anything!! I do recommend this venue but I also recommend you stay on top of them when ordering your choices!

Couldn't have picked a better reception venue. Tara was amazing to work with, got back to my questions super quick, always aiming to please. The food was delicious, with so many choices! Such a huge weight was lifted when I found out they put all decorations out the day of the wedding and I wasn't responsible for any of that. Everything was just super organized and the people were so friendly and easy to work with. The ballroom is absolutely beautiful, with a beachy vibe to it. I feel like I got a total steal- the amount of food for the price per person, you really can't beat it, especially near the shore.
