I recently had DJJAZZYJC at my daughters wedding. We had the best time! He was polite, professional and so much fun! Everyone loved him!

The entertainment of “We Make You The Star” was nothing short of professional and I was truly made the “star.” I messaged back and forth several times with Josh and he was always very quick to respond and accommodated all my dreams!! As a bride you always dream of the perfect song and that perfect moment and because of Josh I had MANY perfect moments. I can’t thank him enough and brag on him enough! My party guests were entertained from start to finish and he matched our vibe perfectly!

DJJC is a very good DJ been doing it for quit few years and he very professional makes your day very rememerable! Does a great job!

Absolutely amazing, best DJ I have ever had or seen. Answered quickly, was very accommodating & easy to work with. Customized everything to our wedding needs & just wonderful outgoing individuals. They aren't just DJs but seriously people who care about your day!! Went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Will always recommend.

long post ahead - for anyone looking for a DJ I would stay away from we make you the star entertainment. this company did my sisters wedding about a year ago, and everything was amazing, so we hired them to do my wedding in August. Everything leading up was good, we had a call the week of the wedding making sure everyone was on the same page about the events. The day of the wedding was a whole different ball game. The dj “Scotty” showed up to DJ our wedding. The ceremony went well.. When we arrived to the reception you could tell something was off, he was sweaty and talking crazy, we thought maybe he was just trying to keep things light and flowy. It then goes on to the first dances where he mixed up songs for all the first dances. Once those were over we started our dinner where he played “sweet caroline” and for anyone from WV you know how we sing that song. I did not want that played during dinner as I wanted just soft music like a normal eating arrangement. After that the dancing began. At this point he would play a song and barely play any of it by interrupting it by screaming “eat shit pitt” the whole time. After the first hour of dancing he then began playing very vulgar songs. These consisted of colt 45 and my neck my back. We NEVER wanted those songs played and he would not stop playing even when we begged him to stop. I had older family and children there so I was absolutely horrified. We then asked him to please just play country roads (my last song request) to which he interrupted the whole thing by screaming “eat shit pitt”. We ended up cutting the reception short by almost 2 hours because my night had been absolutely ruined. We then come to find out he was sneaking alcohol from behind the bar and trying to fight the bartender as well as the management of the venue. Needless to say I was absolutely torn to pieces. He ended up leaving the place and leaving his assistant with no place to stay and no ride home. He stole all his belonging and he ended up staying in my family’s air bnb. The owner of the business Josh was made aware of the situation the night of to which we had called and he apologized stating I would be getting a full refund. I have now been trying (and am still in the process) of getting said refund back. I am in absolute shock of how this company has treated this situation of ruining what is supposed to be someone perfect day. We just want it over with, and want to warn people before booking with them.

JC and his team are absolutely phenomenal. They were organized, punctual, and created an awesome atmosphere for our reception! JC was an awesome MC, he also created a mix of my husband and my favorite music. We also used the 360 Photo Booth, and our guests raved about it. I couldn’t recommend this team enough!

My husband and I got married on 09/01/2023 and We Make You The Star Entertainment was the best decision we ever made for our djs! Josh is so helpful with every little detail and he will make sure you don’t have to worry about a thing! He kept everyone on the dance floor and played every song we wanted him to! I recommend them 1000% for your big day! Always a party with them!

120000/10! Josh was amazing! He kept the party going and even got out there and danced with us. We received so many compliments on how awesome our music was! It was perfect for our age group!

Got married in August and would relive my reception a million times with these guys! They had the fun energy we requested and were so easy to work with! The pricing is fair and they are there from the start to finish to make our day easy! Great group and recommend them for any event !

We Loved our DJ!!!!! The crowd loved him too!! Since our wedding everyone has bragged on how much they loved Josh!!! Truly the life of the party !!! He kept my guests out on the dance floor! He was very accommodating to our odd song requests and had so much fun with our guests!

For my wedding 8/22, DJ JC was absolutely phenomenal. For my sister’s in 8/23, he sent DJ Scotty/Sean (he changed his name constantly) as the DJ. He was asked to stop playing vulgar music because older guests and children were present. He constantly screamed profanity over the mic. He showed up drunk/high, tried fighting the bartender, another guest, AND the manager of the venue because he was asked to stop playing finally after completely ruining the night. JC, after 3 months and a promised refund, has yet to refund my sister for this error. He’s constantly coming up with excuses. We are fed up and warning EVERYONE to steer clear!!!

Pretty good I feel is a perfect description for this company. They were willing to work with us on your budget which was extremely helpful, but I feel that our DJ was unorganized. He showed up in regular clothes, not even close to formal attire and messed up the song I walked down the aisle to, delayed our song after my husband and I walked down the aisle, didn’t play the song at the right time when we walked into our reception, and forgot 2 names for the announcement of the wedding party. These were minor mistakes, but if you’re somewhat of a perfectionist like me then they are important to you. They did work within our budget, but I would probably not work with them again.

Josh Collins was born for this, and his crew is no exception!!! Whatever event you need to bring the flavor and fun to at a professional level, look no further. They don’t just play music, they run the show. He knows his audience and meets them where they are at. He knows the venues and makes everything easier for you. My husband and I just got married April 28, 2022 and they slayed it. There isn’t another DJ in the tristate area I would hire. Period.

We would like to give a huge shoutout and thank you to We Make You The Star Entertainment DJ services for doing such an amazing job during our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with the fun atmosphere and smooth flowing day they helped create. The entire team was very professional, communication was excellent, and they were adaptable to any changes or ideas we brought up during the planning process. We highly recommend their company to anyone in search of entertainment services!

Josh (or DJ Jazzy JC) DJ’ed for my wedding and was absolutely the best! First off, he is one of the nicest people. He kept the party going and played songs tailored to our crowd. He was out there for The Wobble, Cupid Shuffle, etc to help with the dances. He was so great about coordinating every part of our wedding, cocktail hour, and reception. Even when there was some hiccups from other vendors and family members trying to alter our timeline we had discussed days prior to the wedding, Josh maintained professionalism and supported me the whole time. We also had uplighting and a lighted monogram on the wall. Everything enhanced the venue space so well. I am so glad we hired Josh and We Make You The Star Entertainment for our wedding!

My husband and I got married this past weekend. We Make You the Star Entertainment was recommended to us by our photographer, and oh my gosh, I am SO GLAD we went with them. Josh was so professional from the start, and really worked with us to make our vision come to life. I’ve never had so much fun at a wedding before, and maybe I’m partial, but these guys were an absolute BLAST! They kept people dancing all night long. I’ve never been to a wedding where the DJs were so interactive. They were dancing with us, teaching us dance moves, and they were even getting the kids involved. They danced with my husband’s grandma, who recently lost her husband and was having a tough time. They made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. I cannot recommend these guys enough! I’d use them again in a heartbeat!

We had the bet experience with We Make You the Star this weekend. I can not say enough good things about JC who we talked to during the whole process then our day of DJ. AJ, our day of DJ, was phenomenal. He kept everything going so smoothly & kept checking in with us to make sure we were where we wanted to be with our timeline. My guests had so much fun and stayed out on the dance floor the whole time. He even took a couple videos of the night which were so special to us. Book with them & you won't regret it!!

We Make You the Star Environment was the best DJ experience ever! Working with DJ JC was extremely easy going. Establishing the price range and figuring out the procedure of the wedding was easy to implement with the use of the questionnaire provided. For the day of the wedding, the only question DJ JC had for me was where to set up. Other than that, the planning done on the questionnaire made the rest of the reception prefect. All of the requested music was played and DJ JC kept everyone very entertained. One of the big things people remembered about our wedding was the DJ JC! I would highly recommend We Make You The Star!

I had the best experience with We Make You a Star! They did our wedding on Sept 4th. & I couldn’t of asked for better DJ. They were extremely professional and the life of the party! You are missing out if you don’t book them for your wedding or your next event!

Working with DJ JC was amazing from start to finish! He was so responsive and patient with my questions throughout the process; on the day of the event, he gave us complete peace of mind handling everything with ease. I filled out his questionnaire with the vibes we were going for and examples of songs we liked. He took that and ran with it, making it an incredibly curated experience the entire day - ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They really care about making sure YOU get want YOU want, even down to customizing their tables/lights for you. We had people of all ages on the dance floor all night! He knew exactly how to go with the flow of the guests, too. As older folks started to leave, the music and party was kicked up a notch with more of our newer favorite songs and some of his own unique mixes / mash-ups. Everyone was coming up to us at the end of the night saying it was the most fun reception they had ever been to. Guests were even asking DJ JC to stay longer and continue playing as our venue was kicking us out (haha). It was one less thing to worry about knowing the music and handling of the reception timeline were taken care of - a completely stress free part of the day! I can’t recommend him enough. Thanks for making our day so special, JC - we had the time of our lives and will cherish those memories always!

We are so glad we booked We Make You The Star Entertainment for our wedding and couldn’t be happier with our choice! DJ Jazzy JC was great to work with from start to finish and everyone had a blast! We had a crowd of all ages and the song selection by DJ JC kept the dance floor occupied all night long! He did an awesome job announcing our bridal party as well as making announcements upon request throughout the night! The price is very affordable for the services provided! I highly recommend this vendor and wouldn’t hesitate booking again if needed!

JC & his team were fantastic! The uplighting they provided gave the room the perfect elegant look that we were going for. They had the dance floor packed from the moment they started. I can't recommend them enough!

Incredible!! He kept the party going and knew how to read the room perfectly. Everyone was on the dance floor and enjoying their night. He was even able to help set up the selfie stations we had! When we were walking out the guests loved him because he had his boombox on his shoulder and just had such good vibes. We found him because one of our friends had him at their wedding last year and will definitely recommend him to anyone if they ask!

I can not applaud the service of this DJ enough! I HIGHLY recommend this DJ service! After being scammed by a different DJ service DJJazzy helped me tremendously even though they did not have to. The day of my wedding I had DJ FedX and he was absolutely amazing went above and beyond what a DJ does. Even helped my mother bring me and my husband our dinner when we got behind on our schedule.

DJ JC was the man. He was super friendly. Incredibly interactive. Really personalized the whole experience for us. Tons of energy. Everyone at the wedding cemented on how good he was and I'm not even exaggerating. Really all around a great time and a great guy. I will without any doubt use him for other events.

DJ JC and his staff were wonderful! Professional and personalities were perfect! Although one minor hiccup because of a car accident outside which caused electricity to power off, JC had a backup speaker and the party immediately continued. Couldn’t tell the difference in sound :D our guests had a fun time! We could tell that JC and his team are experienced entertainers in grand events. Get their photo booth and their flower pedal shots! Best day of our lives, thank you DJ JC and your staff for helping make our day perfect!

My wife and I could not be happier with DJ JC and his crew (We Make You The Star Entertainment). He made our wedding an absolute blast. I have never seen a DJ keep the crowd going ALL NIGHT LONG like he did!!! He did an excellent job making announcements and introducing the bridal party. But they really came through when it came time to hit the dance floor. He was super interactive with us the whole time, and constantly kept hyping everyone up. His playlist was on point, and honored request when asked. Our guests literally danced for 4 hours straight. If you hire We Make You The Star Entertainment make sure that you tell your guest to eat all that they want, because they are going to burn some serious calories once they hit the dance floor. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys, you will absolutely not regret it.

Hands down THE BEST DJ crew in the state of West Virginia. They made our wedding reception an absolute blast. They helped us with the entire process. Were easily accessible any time we had questions. And super professional. 10/10 would recommend!

I cannot say enough. JC was wonderful to work with. His willingness to travel to our location (about an hour) was so appreciated. He “got to know the couple” with multiple phone calls prior to the event, was prepared and professional. We wanted a fun and engaging environment for our guests and he delivered. Everyone had a great time and we received multiple compliments.

I had JC as our DJ a few weeks ago and he was absolutely fabulous! We really wanted a big party at our reception and he delivered! D.J.J.C played my wedding on October 13th. He brought a hype man named Sinncere that helped teach my wedding all the line dances and kept the party going! The lights he brought provided an atmosphere that made people want to and be comfortable to dance! He played a range of music and felt out the room to know when to change the song, which was something very important to me and my husband when we were searching for a DJ. I hate when DJs just play the song, we wanted mixing and room reading to keep our wedding guests on the dance floor as long as possible and that is what happened! We couldn’t be more pleased with we make you the star entertainment and would highly recommend them for any wedding! Also we should mention they are from Weat Virginia and drove 3 hours to Columbus Ohio for us, they were early and all set up before my decorating team came in which I so appreciated!

We used We Make You The Star Entertainment for our wedding on 10/5/19. Hands down without a doubt THE best DJ around. He went above and beyond to make our day exactly how we wanted. Throughout the wedding several guest would come up to us complimenting how great the DJ was. He did a wonderful job at keeping everyone entertained during the entire wedding. They got the party started and kept it going while the wedding party was outside taking pictures for well over an hour...we returned to the reception area to find the whole crowd laughing and dancing the night away.
