Sunset Riverfront Event Center

My wife and I were married on March 24, 2018, at the Sunset Riverfront Event Center formally known as Riverfront Center at Saint Demtrios. Out first visit to the site was incredible - who can beat the view. If you're into beautiful sunsets and the river - no one can. Trust us...we looked. The back story. We originally booked with the prior management through the church. And we outsourced everything and I mean everything, linen, décor, and food. Now lets discuss the new management. We booked with Moore's Fine Foods (Kevin Moore and his team) who is now managing the event location. Not to be negative but you need to hear the back story in order to truly appreciate what your getting when you book with Sunset Riverfront Event Center. The back deck fence area was ripped apart two days before our ceremony. It was a huge mess and we were using the area for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Upon confronting the PAST management, it wasn't a concern to them. And I repeat...PAST management. I brought my concerns to Kevin Moore who had no dog in the fight at the time. (He was only the cater.) Kevin spent the next several hours on the phone and the deck was magically brought back to life with palms and other greenery. This is the high level of service you will get with Kevin and his team are truly professionals. We can't thank them enough for saving our wedding. Now the food...roll up your sleeves, put your napkin down and get ready to call mama. Flawless. From the presentation to the last minute it hit our taste buds. The tenderloin was a hue hit and we are still receiving complements. The servers always had smiles on their faces and were courteous. This is one of the most stressful times in your life and you're gonna stress over everything. Please take Kevin's advice...when he says, "I got it." He's got it. The man is a machine and we cant thank you enough.

The ballroom is gorgeous! Plus its huge with a view that's just outstanding! There's enough space to accommodate hundreds of guests indoor and out. Our kids LOVED the pier. And the staff took care of Everything. We didn't have to worry about anything which was exactly what my family was looking for. The flowers, bar, everything was included and made our day so much easier and fun. I would definitely recommend.

the hall looked just amazing! it was the perfect space for all our friends and family. with it being a "blank canvas" to work with we got the opportunity to decorate it to our liking. we were able to have all the vendors we wished without worrying out "contract issues". the ladies in the office were amazing and helpful. Michael had everything setup just the way we talked about. the price was a good fit especially since we had a weekday wedding. I would most def recommend this venue in the future.

My husband and I were looking for a large, inexpensive place to hold our wedding reception. We were expecting between 250-300 guests, and wanted a place where we could still represent our style and personality (unique & a bit organic, but still classy) while still having room for everyone. St. Demetrios Hall was perfect! The staff was great to work with, the cost was very reasonable, and the space was great to work with. We were able to make the space our own and host all of our guests for a great party. There is a large dance floor and a stage that is perfect for the wedding party table. One thing to note: they do not allow hard alcohol, only beer and wine/champagne are allowed. This worked fine for us, but is something to keep in mind.
