Lindsay is nice and great to work with! Weddings are very stressful, and it’s worth it to hire a coordinator that will help you out with the rehearsal and the day of. Lindsay helped make sure we had food and pieces of cake leftover to take home and also made sure we were fed first at the reception. Well worth the money!
Lindsay was a total game-changer for the wedding. Seriously, she was so kind and just a blast to work with. You know how you sometimes just click with someone? That was Lindsay for us. And her ability to anticipate what we needed before we even realized we needed it was uncanny. It was like having a mind reader on board for the whole wedding planning journey. She made the whole month leading up to the big day feel more like a fun, stress-free countdown rather than a mad dash to the finish line.

Lindsay and Ally are amazing! I didn't hire a month-of coordinator till much later in the wedding planning process, but I am so glad I did. Initially I thought that between me, my mom, and my MOH we could all handle everything on my wedding day, but looking back I think the stress would have been too much and hampered the day. I am so happy I worked with Lindsay and Ally. They had great ideas and were on top of everything. They helped me have the wedding of my dreams. This team is a must!
Hiring Lindsay was the best choice we made for our wedding! I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of, and she really went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, including things I hadn't even thought to plan for. No matter your budget, I'd say hiring her is the #1 thing you can do to make sure you get to really enjoy your wedding day and not have to stress about all the other moving parts going on!

Lindsay is an angel sent straight from heaven when it comes to wedding planning and any potential client reading this, shouldn't think twice and just go for her. She will do anything and everything possible in her capacity to make your day special. Her flexibility, incredible experience, knowledge, and most importantly her solid NETWORK made our wedding planning a breeze. We are an easy-going couple and appreciated her guidance along the way. The best part about having an experienced planner like Lindsay is that you can 100% trust her when she says all is on track and if it's not then know that she has already handled it without even bothering you. We appreciated her authenticity and work ethic. She was always available for us when we needed her (of course our expectations were also realistic and were not blowing her up middle of the night ;) ) and most importantly she doesn't overbook herself (a complaint I heard from many other friends). If Lindsay agrees to plan your wedding, you have all her attention and given her experience in the industry, she just made everything a breeze. All our vendors loved working with her as well.
I would 100% recommend Lindsay to represent whomever may be needing a wedding planner. We are pretty easy going people. The ONLY stipulation was communication initially but once we communicated that, everything was a on the up and up and I think it’s important to communicate instead of thinking Lindsay can read your mind. She truly made our day wayyy less stressful and had SO many helpful tips and knew EXACTLY what we needed when we didn’t even know what we needed. I would not recommend her if I truly didnt think she deserved it but she does. I would use her again if need be but hopefully, I wont have to lol You won’t regret using her company.

Our wedding day would not have been possible without Lindsay being a part of it! We hired her for the full service package and she did not disappoint. She was literally reading my mind when it came to bringing the vision to life. She was a miracle worker on the day of when the rain decided to start coming down bright and early on the day of. She was so calm and collected and was keeping all vendors and venue management in the loop with Rain Plan Actions. Even though it rained and our ceremony location had to be changed to the rain location, she still went above and beyond! My mother in law saw Lindsay adding additional flowers and candles from our head table to make the ceremony site extra dreamy! SHE WAS SIMPLY JUST THE BEST! So grateful to have met and worked with her. Now to get my sister married and we will be booking with Lindsay for that too!
Lindsay is AMAZING!!! She made our wedding dreams come to life. From out first phone call to even a few days after the wedding when we chatted to recap the BEST DAY EVER she was literally the sweetest! I thoroughly enjoyed working with Lindsay and my only regret was not hiring her sooner!
I have had the pleasure working with Lindsay for years in the wedding industry and I love her so much that I had her coordinate for my wedding. And let me tell you that Lindsay is such an amazing person to have in your corner on such a big important day in your life. She always goes above and beyond for her clients as well as her vendors. I work with Coordinators every day and my husband, and I made the best decision on hiring Lindsay, she really did make our day feel special and Flawless.
After having some time to come down from the post-wedding excitement, I would not recommend Lindsay for other brides. We really had a lot of communication issues with Lindsay, and it added a lot of stress on my plate that was unnecessary. She missed our introduction call which should have been my first warning sign of her not being as organized as I believe a coordinator should be. I was the one reaching out first most of the time as far as scheduling chatting 45-60 days in advance. Whenever certain issues came up as we were getting closer to the wedding date, she would often leave my text messages on read. There was one occasion when she let me know she was occupied but would get back to me, and she never did. My wedding day went smoothly, but I credit a lot of that to my being INCREDIBLY detailed with my decorations and labeling and my other awesome vendors. One of the two hiccups that occurred on my wedding day was that when the vans came to the mansion to pick us up, she never let us know, causing a delay in getting to the church. The second annoyance was that she arrived 45 minutes late to the venue, from her scheduled arrival time. Just another example of her unreliability was that at the beginning of the planning process, after we met in person, she told me that she'd attend my rehearsal even though it was organized by the church, and then on the day of the rehearsal, she canceled. Not a huge deal because she wasn't necessary, but yet another example of how unreliable I felt she was. The one thing I do appreciate was her attention to detail when creating my timeline, and her willingness to listen to my vendor's changes and my thoughts, but I don't think her price was worth one successful thing. Overall, I would consider going in another direction.
Lindsay and her team are absolutely amazing! We have worked with them for years and know that when we do, we are working with a team that keeps the details and design in focus. Which is what you want from your Coordinator! The level of service, communication and heart that goes into their art is astonishing. We always look forward to working with them!
Lindsay was wonderful to work with and helped to keep everyone on point with grace and cheerfulness for my daughter's wedding last November. She was very responsive leading up to the wedding in answering our questions, as well as month of. Her strong skills in communication and planning helped to set expectations for everyone in a very relaxed vide. I would highly recommend her services to anyone.

Lindsay and her team are fabulous! As a wedding photographer we know how important it is to have a reliable and organized planner! Lindsay communicates all the need information to us and even asks for any input that we may have. This helps get our couples amazing photos! Beyond being an incredibly organized and effective wedding planner, she is one of the nicest and warmest people you will ever meet who genuinely cares about her couples! I have been photographing weddings for over 15 years in Austin and I have been consistently working with Lindsay for over 10 of those years. She is by far one of my favorite coordinators in the industry! She has the winning combination of being on top of the wedding and the couple's needs but being laid back at the same time. Something some people in the industry majorly lack. She is always smiling and chill, even when it is late August and the temps are high and mom is yelling about the DJ has the music too loud. haha! She rocks!
We love Lindsay! She worked with us during our year long engagement. My parents were very involved in planning my wedding and she made sure everyone was in the loop when giving information or making decisions. Lindsay was very patient with all the opinions, ideas, and emails.
She is absolutely AMAZING on the day of. My wedding was PERFECT! If there were any hiccups, I had no clue.
Ally was simply amazing. We had a lot of personal decor (chargers, a zillion candles, paper products, wedding favors, etc) and she was able to get all of that set out, wrangle a HUGE wedding party (30 people!), coordinate vendors, and answer my millions of questions without a hitch. If we had any issues on the wedding day, I certainly did not find out about it. It was an absolute perfect day, and I know it was largely due to Ally. The only fiasco was that it had rained that morning (good luck) but after it cleared up it left a bunch of pesky bugs behind. Ally thought fast and sent someone to buy bug spray and she was able to spray it on the aisle runners and around the ceremony area and by the time the ceremony started there were zero bugs! Lindsey also helped us a lot before the big day with the timeline and coordinating final details. They’re both angels!
We are so happy that we hired Lindsay to help with our wedding! We could not have done it without her! She was organized, friendly, and so easy to work with. I would highly recommend Lindsay and In Her Shoes!!!
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Lindsay with In Her Shoes. I understand that situations/emergencies happen, but there were two separate occasions where Lindsay did not attend the meetings and did not provide advance notice. There was little to no communication, and as a bride, you can't live with that uneasiness of not knowing if your coordinator is going to show up for your big day.
Lindsay is a delight to work with. She is so fun and organized. By the time she’s at the end of your special day she will be like your best friend. This is a bond you will never forget. I highly recommend working with her any chance you get!
Lindsay was our day-of coordinator and let me tell you, she did a perfect job. After we sat down for our first planning meeting, my fiancé (now husband) said “that was therapeutic”. We had been so stressed with wedding planning and she completely took over, answered all our questions, and helped us problem solve through every detail. And on the day of, she went above and beyond with making sure every detail was perfect and request was met. I used Ally for my month-of wedding planner and couldn't have been happier. She tied up all of the loose ends for me as we were approaching the big day and handled so much behind the scenes to make the day seamless and just allowed us to not stress and have fun on our wedding day. Ally was so wonderful and I'm so thankful to have used her!

What can I say. Getting hitched went off without a hitch. And Lindsay put up with jokes like that one.
In particular, we were especially pleased with Lindsay's masterful execution on the day of our wedding. Her calm demeanor and iron fist in a velvet glove made sure that everything just worked. All we had to do was be in the moment and she made sure that everything happened according to the plan. Speeches were made, photos were taken, and we even got to eat a little bit.
She was also super helpful in planning. Lindsay was able to help us decide what mattered and what didn't and then get exactly the right vendors accordingly. I cannot say enough about the little touches like our custom cocktail bar signs that stole the show.
Plus, she helped me get my wife the best surprise ever, so she will always have my gratitude.

Our day was perfect and I want to share some love below these wonderful ladies.
Lindsay and Ally are good friends of ours which is why it was a no-brainer to go with them. Our day was flawless even though the weeks leading up to our day was panic mode. Lindsay took care of mostly every crazy thing that came our way during the weeks leading up and I COULD NOT have made it through if it weren't for her. We lost our caterer, supplier of dinnerware, and entire staff 3 weeks before a wedding for 300 people because the company we had chosen ended up changing their contract on us last second on what they would or would not provide. Lindsay helped take the stress off of all this. It's so important to have a coordinator so they can handle disasters, big or small - they know what they are doing. Best part of my day was that if anything went wrong....I did not find out 📷:)
Lindsay was the planner for my daughter’s wedding, and she did such a great job making sure everyone was in the loop and knew what to expect. Lindsay is a great problem solver and truly an ideas kind of person! She has a great personality and a kind heart!

Lindsay was fantastic! She truly helped us on EVERYTHING. Pre-planning and Day of. Most importantly she helped us navigate 2 cancellations and with 3 wedding dates due to Covid. She supported us on every decision and gave great advice. Lindsay went above and beyond to make our day extra special.
We worked with Lindsay for our wedding, using the month of package, and we are so happy we chose her. We booked her months in advance and she helped us even before our contract officially started. She was super responsive and took control on wedding week/day to ensure we did not have to worry about anything. Lindsay and in her shoes definitely made our wedding much less stressful, highly recommend!
Going into the wedding planning process, we were not sure if hiring a wedding coordinator would be necessary. Boy were we wrong. Hiring Lindsay proved to be one of the best decisions we made. In addition to recommending vendors along the way (all of which were great), she made the last few weeks and day of our wedding virtually stress free! From planning the venue layout, to coordinating on timelines with vendors, to arranging our small decorations, Lindsay delivered it all for us!
Ally was the absolute best, I never realized everything that went into a wedding and I am certain I would of not been able to do it without her. My wedding was originally planned for Sept 2020 but due to COVID we had to move it. Ally was so patient with me as I was freaking out and was nothing but encouraging through the entire process. I do not know how many people came up to me on my wedding day telling me how badass my wedding planner was. The only thing I am sad about is not getting to thank her more on my actual wedding day but she was so busy running the show. Thank you Ally for all your hard work, my day wouldn’t of been perfect without you!
Awesome experience with Lindsay.....super professional, organized and easy to work with.....handled all of our wedding questions and needs and went above and beyond to make sure our day was super special and stress free. As parents of the bride, hosting and planning a wedding during a global pandemic was a bit unnerving, to say the least. Thank goodness for Lindsay Blackwell with In Her Shoes! She knows her stuff and knows it very well. She knew how to navigate us through all the social distancing requirements & she was very well versed on all the adjustments needed for our vendors to accommodate those requirements, too. She is respected by all the vendors. She continually coordinated with us, the catering captain, and the Venue representative and was able to keep adjusting our outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner seating arrangements, as the RSVPS kept coming in. The guest count was a continuous moving target. Our early November ranch wedding ended up being a large outdoor wedding with lots of vendors involved...185 guests, fireworks, a 10-piece band, full bar, seated dinner, additional lighting, sparkler fountains, a send-off food truck, etc. Lindsay had our timeline down to the minute and kept us informed whenever a decision needed to be made. She orchestrated everything beautifully on the day of the wedding. She kept us on track and also rolled with some curveballs, while remaining calm, cool and collected. When my daughter’s bustle broke in a puddle of mud, Lindsay helped us with emergency repairs. When we ran out the alcohol needed for the signature drinks, she drove to the liquor store for us. When one of the exhausts from our chartered buses caught a field on fire, Lindsay helped extinguish it with a fire extinguisher. Then, when we were shy one bus for getting some of our guests back to their hotel, she ordered Uber XL’s. She kept her wits about her and that saved us from a lot of angst on my daughter’s day. Our guests are still referring to our wedding as the best they have ever attended and all had a great safe time celebrating this joyous day! If you want to be assured you’re in good hands, so you can just enjoy the big day, then I highly recommend using Lindsay with In Her Shoes as your wedding coordinator.

Although the website touts "Attention To Detail is our Niche!", this was not our experience. Lindsay spent the day of the wedding, putting out fires that should not have happened had the proper verification with the various vendors been done to confirm orders in advance of the wedding day. Personal items were not handled with care, resulting in an heirloom cake topper getting broken. When the Mother of the Bride emailed her the following day regarding the various issues, her response was very unprofessional and she took no responsibility for the issues.
Lindsay was amazing, we enjoyed working with her, our vendors appreciated working with her and our parents loved her! Our wedding was thrown slightly off rails due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, Lindsay kept her cool and was very calm and reassuring throughout the entire process. As can be expected, we had to make substantial changes to accomodate our wedding in July 2020. Lindsay was extremely helpful in coordinating all of the (extremely last minute) changes with each of the vendors. Our day was perfect and my husband and I enjoyed every moment, especially knowing that we had Lindsay taking care of all of the little details in the background! An added bonus of working with Lindsay is that you get to use an amazing website called Aisle Planner - This was a GREAT tool that we CONSTANTLY used to track vendor details, guest RSVPS, and more. We would highly recommend In Her Shoes Coordination to any bride to be!

Hiring Lindsay was one of the best decisions I made throughout the wedding planning process! From our first phone call to the end of the night on my wedding day, she made me feel calm and completely stress-free. Not only was she incredibly sweet, she was responsive, organized, and professional. After speaking with her the first time, I just knew I wanted to work with her. She radiated joy and positive energy and it was important to me to work with vendors that I liked personally. The best part of working with her was my wedding day. I am a typical type-A control freak but I did not have a single care in the world the day of because I had full confidence that she was going to handle every detail. And she did flawlessly with a smile on her face. I am so grateful Lindsay was part of my big day -- I don't think I would have fully enjoyed it as much as I did otherwise. I highly recommend her!
Lindsay Blackwell is a saint! We interviewed a lot of coordinators for our wedding day, but we knew right away we loved Lindsay, and she did. not. disappoint. Throughout the months leading up to the big day, she was responsive, attentive and SO, SO helpful in answering our many questions. My mom lives out of state, and she relied on Lindsay a lot for help via email, texts and phone calls. Lindsay was so patient, professional and kind throughout our entire planning process. And on the day of our wedding, she was a freaking rock star. Her calm demeanor settles any nerves or jitters on the big day, and her professionalism, as well as her years of experience, made our day run absolutely flawlessly. Seriously, there was not one flaw on our wedding day, and I attribute a lot of that to Lindsay. I wish I could give her 1,000 stars!
Lindsey and Ally helped us out with our wedding coordinating. They both did such a great job, we would have really been stressed out without them there helping us through such an important moment in our lives. These girls have not only amazing coordinators they are also great people that we now consider family. You both are so capable at handling anything unexpected that came up and with a smile. People always told me wedding planning was stressful but Lindsay made every step of the process stress-free. She was always available to run ideas by, and connected us to some amazing vendors (some with discounts for working with her!) . Where she really shone was in the month leading up to the wedding where she coordinated with every single vendor to make sure our day was seamless. She and made it possible for us to really take the time to enjoy every second of our wedding - and each other! If I could leave 10 stars I would. All my husband and I can say is THANK YOU to Lindsay!! I’ve got a rowdy and large family, so Lindsay had her hands full but somehow managed to stay on top of the wedding timeline, vendors, set up as well as keep my family in order for the ceremony and after ceremony photos. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all in different locations onsite at the venue and she helped keep all 250 of our guest moving from location to location. I can say hands down best decision we made was hiring her. She stepped in to the planning process around 45 days out but answered any and all questions I had throughout the planning. Our day was so special thanks to her and all our wonderful vendors!
Lindsay is a SUPERSTAR!! We hired her about a month after our engagement for her full service package + rehearsal dinner package! After 9 months of planning, vendor meet and greets, tasting cakes and catering foods, she helped reel in everything we wanted to make our dream wedding come to life. Everything she brought together for both events was impeccable! She took our vision and rolled with it, even offering ideas she has seen that we would have never thought of! On the wedding day, I had a slight panic attack and she calmed me by rubbing the palm of my hands and while talking calmly too me. I mean literally a saint!!!
