Executive Chef
Chef Tom brings extensive culinary knowledge and expertise and award-winning results to his position as Fauquier Springs County Club’s Executive Chef. His commitment to delectable, memorable cuisine, made with the finest ingredients, ensures a top-tier dining experience. Tom and his staff have taken dining at the Club to a new level.He was born in Virginia at Fort Belvoir and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. Tom received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Philadelphia College of Art, and an Associate in Occupational Studies from the Culinary Institute of America. He has worked and lived in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., New Orleans, and Los Angeles, in addition to several seaside resorts. He was mentored under Michel Richard. Tom returned to Fauquier County and has lived here for almost 20 years.

My wedding was a couple of weeks ago and I cannot say enough positive things about FSCC and Kellin, the Events and Membership Director (who was also our Day Of Coordinator). I was trying to find a venue at a reasonable price point that had a beautiful interior since I wanted the ceremony and reception indoors. I found that in FSCC (not to mention the food is also amazing which is so important). Actually, the food and open bar price per person was far more affordable than I expected! Kellin is so personable and easy to talk to. She and the venue are incredibly flexible and accommodating. We were able to go around the golf course to picturesque spots and our pictures turned out amazing! We took pictures outside at the stunning gazebo as well (which is where a lot of people get married, I just wanted my ceremony indoors). Kellin made sure we were happy throughout the planning process and entire ceremony/reception. She stayed well beyond her allotted hours as well! I could go on but the moral of this review is that you really can't go wrong with this venue. Our day was 100% seamless and so beautiful.

We had a fabulous experience planning our wedding with Fauquier Springs Country Club! Kellin was fantastic and was so flexible, especially when it came to postponing our wedding a few times due to covid. She and her team were able to accommodate all of our requests and helped to make our day so wonderful. The ceremony and reception sites are beautiful! We had the best day ever, thanks to Kellin and the team at FSCC :)

There are no words to describe how amazing it was to work with Rachel and Lauren! Our wedding was so beautiful, staff was attentive and the food was amazing! Our DJ said it was the best wedding food he'd ever had! The venue itself was beautiful. We used the Springs Room for our cocktail hour and the main Ballroom for the reception. We have been receiving endless compliments on everything. Highly highly recommend.

My husband and I are so happy we chose FSCC to be our venue sight for both our ceremony and reception. The grounds are breathtaking and the tree and golf course in the fall is stunning! We held our reception in the grand ballroom and loved how beautiful everything looked! We loved the hothouse gold chandeliers, large gold mirrors and beautiful decor thoughtout! It felt whimsical and romantic and our guests at our wedding really loved the space. Would highly recommend.

I loved getting married here! Everything was so beautiful and organized, I could not have asked for a better venue for such a bid occasion. Lauren, the event coordinator, was amazing to work with; from her timely responsiveness to guiding me through wedding/reception things I would have never known to ask about! The catering was excellent! I have had so many compliments on our dinner and appetizers! The beautiful setting of Fauquier Springs allowed for simple, classy décor and the outdoor balcony was wonderful for our sunset cocktail hour! Everything went so smoothly thanks to Lauren's day of coordinating.

This review is delayed but very well deserved. Our wedding was last fall and from the very beginning, this place was amazing! The planning stages: As the bride, I was still living overseas in Japan and doing most of my planning online and through emails. Many venues were difficult to work with doing this but FSCC and Lauren were helpful from the beginning. I never felt pressured to make a decision, and being a budget bride, Lauren never made us feel like our requests were ridiculous. Some venues I contacted made me feel like I should be lucky to have my wedding there, but FSCC made me feel like they were happy to have us choose them. Lauren worked with us through emails through the whole process, never pressured us, was on top of a timeline with planning, and overall did an amazing job! The day of: I definitely recommend using the day of coordinator services with Lauren. She made sure everything was set up and in place and I never felt like I had to check on anything! I was able to enjoy getting ready with my girls. She made everything flow from the moment we got there in the morning . She drove us on the golf cart to great photo places, and made the entire evening run smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better day, better venue, or better coordinator! I feel like this place is a true gem. Everyone is wonderfully nice, it is affordable, the catering is easy and delicious, and the location is beautiful. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to FSCC!

From the first time we visited Fauquier Springs, we got a really good vibe. All of their staff members are friendly and super helpful. Special thanks to Lauren- she is amazing and really helped make planning our wedding at FSCC a breeze, not to mention she was understanding and willing to work with our budget. The venue building and outdoor scenery are beautiful and the food there is excellent!

I cannot write enough amazing things about this venue (was married there in October 2014) and I could literally write a novel about how incredible Rachel, the Sales/Event Assistant Manager (although in my opinion she should run that place), is. The venue itself is beautiful and they will accommodate your every request - they'll even make your own recipes for the wedding if you want. The plan B inside ceremony location is nice as well which took a bit of stress off of us when we saw rain in the forecast. But Rachel is really what made our wedding the best it could have been. She was incredibly responsive and met every request we made with grace. She has an amazing attitude and will make sure your (excessive, obnoxious, bridal) requests get done, even if she has to do it herself. She literally stayed at the venue by herself the night before our wedding to spackle a few imperfections in the wall. I felt like I had a wedding planner that I didn't pay for, and I'm 99% sure that the majority of what she did for us (both before and during the wedding) was outside of her job description. When Rachel was out of the office for a week, Lauren took over and she was great as well. The food was great, the staff was amazing, and our wedding was perfect. Not a single negative thing to say.

My husband and I fell in love with the location as soon as we pulled in. Our wedding ceremony was held outside at the gazebo and we had our reception in the grand ballroom. The servers were amazing, they were extremely friendly and attentive to everybody. We received so many compliments it made us happy our guests enjoyed themselves. The catering company is FANTASTIC and was able to accommodate my Celiac's in providing a completely gluten free meal. Not one guest had anything negative to say about the food! However, in the middle of our planning our coordinator (Jessica) left and we began working with Lauren. While many people have praised her, I cannot do the same. We had many issues with Lauren getting our menu correct that it took tears and a phone call in distress hoping it would be correct. She left midway through the wedding, not telling the contact person who was picking up things that she would be doing so causing much confusion in where to find things. Many of our questions during the rehearsal were answered with "however you like" vs. giving direction. There wass no real coordination on the day of the wedding in making sure all of the guests went to the gazebo for the ceremony. When the limo arrived, my matron of honor had to get out to find Lauren to get the situation under control. The wrong beer was served at the wedding even though we were assured the food/beverages were correct. We were left wishing Jessica hadn't left. That aside, our wedding was absolutely beautiful and we had no regrets having it at the country club. We just wished for a better coordinator.

d I had been in discussions about the final menu for a while without a signed revised contract when she sent an upset email concerned about “confusion” regarding the menu. I called and helped her pin down the final menu, for which I then revised the contract and her fiancé signed the “final menu” which ensures it will be correct. At each wedding we have excellent catering staff and a supervisor who takes over for me from dinner until the end of the wedding, as I am on site from morning until evening decorating, conducting the ceremony and so forth. I always introduce the catering supervisor to the DJ and leave any details with them about locations of items, timelines, etc. The supervisor had all the information for clean up at the end of the night. A wedding is an incredibly special event in a couple’s life and during a rehearsal I want to make sure that I never overshadow a couple’s personal style or wishes. I would have been happy to conduct a formal rehearsal if Debbie would have requested a formal style, but most weddings want to add special elements and different orders than normal and I love couples to embrace their personal style. On Debbie and Kirk’s wedding day, I coordinated each detail on the venue and catering side, explained to guests where to go, and conducted the beautiful ceremony. I waited in the lobby for the limo to arrive and promptly assisted when it pulled up; I greeted the matron of honor as I walked out the door and quickly helped Debbie to the bridal suite so she wouldn’t be seen by her groom. This transition was managed successfully and Debbie was then able to relax in the bridal suite before the ceremony. After checking the consumption and inventory sheets, I did verify that the correct beers requested and stated in the contract were indeed served and consumed. Possibly she didn’t see certain selections on the counter when she was near the bar because it was being cooled. After addressing all of these points, I would like to wish Debbie and Kirk all the best in their new marriage together.

I had been looking for ages for a venue that was big enough for a decent-sized wedding but also in my budget. Many locations in the Northern VA/DC metro area are insanely priced! I'm so happy I found FSCC. This place is gorgeous! Lauren was very responsive and answered my 1 millon questions in a timely manner. The Hilltop Gazebo was a beautiful location for our outdoor ceremony, even in March. I have absolutely no regrets in choosing Fauquier Springs. They were able to help me bring my vision of a Hawaii-themed wedding to life. The space is perfect because any type of decor will work, yet at the same time it has historic Virginia charm. Everything went smoothly, and everyone had a blast! It was the PERFECT day.

I cannot say enough good things about this venue. Jessica Brose was the main contact person, and Lauren was our contact person during the rehearsal and on the day-of. They are both wonderful people who worked really hard to make our wedding just what we had hoped and planned. They were so flexible and willing to add in things (like a cookie and milk "nightcap" or choreographing their waiters to come out at just the right moment with the first course to match the entry music) without an extra charge in order to make our vision happen. On top of that, one of our shipments of flowers came in two days late, showing up on the day of the wedding instead of Thursday, and they set up those flowers for me since I couldn't come out while I was getting ready. We have received so many compliments from our guests on everything from the beautiful outdoor ceremony site to the stunning way that the ballroom had been set up for the reception. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Also, they have one of the biggest dance floors that you'll find, and because it's already built-in, there is no additional charge for it, unlike other venues! My husband and I are very happy that we chose Fauquier Springs Country Club as our venue.

Fauquier Springs Country Club not only met my expectations for our ceremony and reception, they far exceeded them. The staff made my day completely stress free and went completely above and beyond what I thought. When I walked into the reception, I was blown away by what they did for us. Without their staff, I would have been a complete wreck! All of my guests told me about multiple instances where the staff went out of their way to do something for them. The cost is what attracted us to FSCC because of the value for what you get, but I honestly felt like my day/night was just as wonderful if not better than some of the really pricey venues!

Jessica and the entire staff of FSCC worked very hard to make our reception run very smoothly. The wait staff was attentive to our needs and were working behind the scenes to make sure that every guest had a great time. The food was excellent, the ball room was elegant and everything was perfect!
