Stephanie Cain is a journalist and content strategist in the lifestyle space, who has 14 years of experience focusing on weddings, wine, food, and travel. She has worked on staff with The Knot, Wine Spectator, and Elite Traveler. Additionally, her byline has appeared in The New York Times, Fortune, Brides, Afar, PureWow, Esquire, VinePair, MyDomaine, People, Hamptons, and The Bourbon Review, and she has been a featured expert on CNBC, Bloomberg, NPR, CBS Los Angeles, and MSN.com, among others. Stephanie is also a certified yoga instructor and sommelier accredited by the Court of Master Sommeliers.
Experience
During college Stephanie worked as a Staff Writer for the pop culture section of Santa Barbara Independent. Upon graduating with her Master’s Degree in Magazine Journalism, Stephanie was hired as an Editorial Assistant for Elite Traveler. She also freelanced as a Reporter and Stringer for People magazine and a social media consultant during this time. In 2009, Stephanie moved into an Associate Editor position for WineSpectator.com. After a year in this position she was hired as a Manager of Branding and Teambuilding for LivingSocial. In 2013, Stephanie was hired by AHAlife to work on editorial and social media content. She then worked for Morrell Wine Group as the Director of Digital and E-Commerce and as a Writer and Reporter for Specialty Food News. From 2015 to 2017, Stephanie served as a Real Weddings Editor for The Knot magazine and TheKnot.com. Since then she has worked as a freelance journalist contributing to numerous national publications.
Education
Stephanie received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Art History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She also holds a Master of Science in Magazine Journalism from Columbia University.
