1 Hotel South Beach

THIS HOTEL IS BEYOND INCREDIBLE! The second we pulled into the valet line, we knew this was the venue! From the time you get out of your car & walk into the lobby, the detail in every aspect of the hotel is beyond anything you will see anywhere else. They even have a signature scent that blows through the AC system. Michelle Marchetti, the director of catering sales, was amazing to work with. She gave us a tour of the entire hotel & we were in awe of the beauty & laid back vibe of the hotel. She was understanding of our budget, & never pushy. We had other hotel tours later that day, but cancelled them to go back & hangout on the roof because we loved it so much! On the roof, we mentioned to our waitress that we wanted to get married there (no signed contracts yet) & they brought us bottles of champagne on the house to celebrate! Shadi Omeish, the GM of the hotel, took the time to find us & introduce himself & thank us! Leona, Idalmis, & Frida were all very helpful with blocking off rooms for our guests. They were easy to get in touch with, & very quick to respond if they were unavailable. Dragan Pavlovic took care of us during our tasting, & he was super friendly & accommodating. We decided to change a few of the sides with our meals, & he was more then happy to make suggestions & take notes as to what we wanted. When our wedding weekend finally came, we had welcome drinks at the lobby bar downstairs, & it was perfect! They have a lot of seating areas with couches, & access outside. We had about 80+ people & there was more then enough room for everyone. The bartenders that night were awesome! Edgar & Samir did everything they could for our crazy group to make sure everyone was happy & had a drink in their hands! The waitresses at the lobby that night were also very friendly & quick to serve our guests, making sure everyone had what they needed. We also weren’t expecting there to be a live band that night, but that only added to the fun! We decided to add a few appetizers last minute & the chef whipped up delicious food in no time! The day of our wedding, it rained in the morning so we had to move our ceremony inside to the atrium, which turned out BEAUTIFUL! The staff did a great job to make sure the indoor space was just as beautiful as it would have been outside. We were also SOO excited to find out that Dragan was our banquet captain! He did a phenomenal job making sure everything was served in a timely manner & that no guest had to wait on their food- & the food was AMAZING! We received so many compliments about how great everyone’s dinner & appetizers were! Our guests loved everything, especially the decor & appetizer display tables. We received many comments over the weekend about how great the wedding turned out- everyone said it was the smoothest/most organized wedding they had ever attended! The day after our wedding we rented the 2 indoor cabanas at the cabana pool. We had almost 80-90 people at the pool that day! A lot of people went to the level below the pool to the hotel’s private beach area to play beach volleyball, & the public beach access is right outside of the gate. It turned out to be a great day & just an extension of the party from our wedding the night before. I could never think of enough great things to say about this hotel & the weekend vacation we had with all of our friends & family. This is the ONLY hotel we will stay at in Miami. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Kate & Salar
