Taryn and her team went above and beyond to make our day special. When we had a small timing issue with our catering, she raced to the nearest store to get some appetizers until th...
ey arrived. She followed all of my needs to a T and never let me know there was an issue until she had already made the solution. Our fall wedding had a beautiful backdrop in the mountain.
The space is a little odd. It is a theater camp and the bathrooms are located inside the building, so guests had to walk down a long dark hallway. We had a Harry Potter theme so this added to our design. It was perfect!
The bridal suite was the stage's green room which was odd for photos but it was the perfect space for everyone in the bridal party could store their stuff in.
Our ceremony and reception were beyond beautiful. The dance floor was large enough for our party and the bar was serving drinks perfectly chilled. I would have liked to have the non-alcoholic dreams available without going to the bar, but the guests seemed ok.
I went to my friend’s wedding here a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely amazing! The location is truly one of a kind—tucked away in the woods with stunning mountain views. The st...
aff and bartenders were fantastic and made the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful spot for their special day.
Let me start this review by saying that Breanna was amazing and so kind and I completely understand her getting sick the day of the wedding, life happens. That and the view are abo...
ut the only good things I can say.
The tall blonde who took over when Breanna had to leave was nothing but rude not only to myself, but also our guests and other vendors. She repeatedly made it obvious that she did not want to be there; and was heard talking badly about myself, my vendors, and my guests by multiple of my guests who felt uncomfortable even going to the bar afterwards so they refrained from ordering at all.
At my walk through Breanna had offered to help with our music and with introducing us. We were also told where to park for my elderly guests who couldn’t walk. The day of Breanna came and was sick so she went home, understandably so. Unfortunately the tall blonde declared that everything Breanna had offered to do was not her job, leaving me to scramble to find someone to do it. Thankfully my wedding guests stepped in.
I was also informed that all of the tables would already be set up and ready for me to decorate when I got there at 12, they were definitely not. Leaving us to scramble while getting ready. Then as well scrambling to take down all of the tables at the end of the night even though I had been told at the beginning of this process that we wouldn’t have to do any of the tables or chairs.
Since the beginning I have dealt with 3 different wedding coordinators and it shows. The lack of communication and the horrible treatment of my guests are signs of poor management.
Every one of the 60 people who attended my wedding has personally told me how rude your staff was to them and how they would definitely never recommend your location. Which is devastating because the venue is so beautiful.
So to the tall blonde and the bar tender with glasses, I do apologize that I don’t remember your names off of the one time you told them to me, but please do remember these are people’s memories. This was my wedding day. My guests didn’t need to hear you talking badly about me or my other guests appearances or how annoying you found us. Unfortunately for you I will not give you the satisfaction of thinking you ruined my day, because you did not. It was the perfect day even if it was a mess.
I’d ask you to try harder for the next person, but honestly I just don’t think customer service or working with the public is for you.
Let me start by saying I (the bride) was yelled at in my wedding dress 10 minutes before I walked down the aisle by the VENUE COORDINATOR. That in itself constitutes a 1 star revie...

While this venue is stunning and the day was wonderful (because I got to marry my best friend), the experience we had in the year leading up to the wedding was HORRENDOUS. I cried almost daily because of the frustration and stress caused just trying to get basic wedding details squared away in the months leading up to our big day.
4 venue coordinators quit and zero communication was done to rectify this issue. I had to email in and got a response of “XYZ doesn’t work here anymore,” and when I did get ahold of someone, when I asked if our wedding date was still all set, they said “I don’t know.” (This was after sending them $10,000.)
I was told that our original venue coordinator that we booked with had lied to us and many other brides about several things that come included with the venue, so we felt incredibly deceived. Chairs, day-of duties, dance floor lighting, etc. had all apparently been lied to us about. But at this point, it was too late. We had already paid.
A week before the wedding, I got another call. The most recent venue coordinator quit! I understand this is out of the venue’s control, however the way it was handled was so frustrating. They let me know they had none of our wedding information, so I had to spend 40 minutes on the phone running through every detail AGAIN. With the 4th person so far. The week leading up to the wedding was the most frustrating, emotional, and stressful experiences. I would not wish it on any couple getting married.
We again were told that several things were not included as we were originally promised. Chairs for the ceremony, and the maple syrup favors. The maple syrup favors are in the contract we signed, and were a big selling point for us. My fiancé called our new venue contact about this and was told: “yeah, I guess we’ll just make 100 of those for you for free” … It’s not free, it is a service the venue committed to provide a year and a half ago, one that we paid for with the cost of the venue.
I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but I cannot allow anyone to go through what we went through, thinking this is a 5-star venue because no one has rated it under these appalling new conditions.
I can't say enough amazing things about this venue and Cierra the venue coordinator. The venue itself is gorgeous on its own. The ceremony and reception areas offer the most beauti...
ful mountain views.
We got married on 9/9/23. The venue provided bartenders and a crazy variety of drinks at a super duper affordable price. There was a bridal room where the bride and bridesmaids could stay out of sight before the wedding.
The reception area had ample space for a full sized buffet, DJ set up, band, cake table and anything you could dream up.
Cierra was soooooo kind and understanding. She responded to all 1 million of my questions without hesitation. She was an essential part of my team and she worked so great with my decorator and day coordinator. She went above and beyond. I would choose 100-Acre Woods Wedding again in a heartbeat.
