From their tasty food, to the excellent coordination with all of our vendors, they hit everything out of the park. Having the majority of our guests all coming from out of town and even out of the country, they made every single one feel special. Katie Swain was our day of coordinator and made it such a great and enjoyable experience. We were scheduled to have rain all day and she effortlessly put my mind at ease, making sure it all ran smoothly. She will always hold a special place in my heart 💙

We had the pleasure of hosting our March 2024 wedding at 128 South Events & Catering. It was actually the first and only venue we toured after we got engaged - we fell in love with 128 South immediately for it's beautiful historic feel, the natural light, and the ability to have both an indoor and outdoor space for our guests. In addition to the beauty of the venue itself, we were also extremely impressed by the staff, especially Katie Swain, our day-of coordinator. Her ability to keep up with all of the details of our day and graciously communicate our guest dietary restrictions with the kitchen team was absolutely amazing. As the bride and main planner of our wedding, I was nervous my plans/vision wouldn't come together without being hands on with the set up process, but Katie and the 128 South team listened to my requests and made my wedding dreams come true, exceeding every expectation I thought I had. We really cannot recommend hosting your next event at 128 South enough. You will be blown away by their kindness, authenticity, and professionalism. HUGE thank you to 128 South, and to Katie Swain. We got married at 128 South in November! Our experience planning the wedding and having the wedding at this venue were amazing! The staff at 128 South were always extremely kind, quick in their responses to questions, and genuinely excited to help make our day special. We even booked our day of coordinator through the venue. Davis was a fabulous coordinator! He coordinated all of our vendors on the day of the wedding and made sure our wedding party had everything we needed throughout the day. We also loved the food selection, the historic beauty of the venue, and the close proximity to shops/restaurants in downtown Wilmington! Overall, I highly recommend choosing 128 South!

We got married at 128 south a few weeks ago and I cannot say enough about our entire experience. After attending a couple of events at 128 I knew when my wedding day came this is where I’d want to have it. The location, the character and beautiful details are what drew me to it. It truly is beautiful as is. And don’t get me started on the food- every last thing was delicious. The main thing we heard from guest was how beautiful it was and how good the food was! All of the staff was SO attentive and kind and keep every last moment running smoothly. We could not have asked for a better venue and better service from their employees.

We could not have made a better decision than booking with 128 South. Their team is truly one in a million and made the entire wedding planning process so much easier. They were responsive and took so much stress of wedding planning off our shoulders. Davis and Katie especially were such a huge part in making our day run perfectly. Our two biggest compliments from our guests were how good the food was and how amazing of a coordinator Davis was. I cannot say enough about the staff and chef at 128 South! From start to finish they made the process simple, affordable and fun! I have to be honest they made the planning process stress free. I held a wedding party brunch at 128 South as well as my rehearsal dinner. They helped me reach my vision and were very flexible. In my experience, using vendors in the wedding industry most of them love to tell you “no” and also like to “nickel and dime” you at every turn, however the staff at 128 was full of ideas to help make my vision come true! They always gave me a, “Yes we can do that!” Davis and Jordan were who I interacted with most and they were the best! Justin took care of my rehearsal dinner and made my husband and I feel so special and made sure we had everything we needed. Can we just talk about the chef for a minute? We asked for some custom food items and he created them for us to taste. He nailed it! The food was so freaking good! People are still talking about it! Have every event at Bakery or 128! Catering on-site makes all of the difference!! I cannot recommend this place enough. I’m already thinking about calling them to set up a party for my 1 year anniversary!

I’m am still in awe at how perfect our wedding (08.12.23) was. Anyone can see this venue is beautiful, but everyone should know the whole staff at 128 South is fantastic. Davis was beyond helpful and helped us coordinate everything. On the day of, he consistently checked in with my husband and I to make sure we were okay and comfortable which meant so much. Weddings are supposed to be inherently hectic, ours was not and I attribute that to Davis and everyone else at 128 South.

We hosted our wedding at 128 South in August 2023 and it was wonderful! The inside of the venue is gorgeous with stained glass windows and a balcony that makes the space feel very open. The outside has a wonderful view of the river and a is under a covered tent. We had around 80-90 guests and it never felt too crowded. Katie was our day-of coordinator and she made the place look beautiful with all of our decor and was on top of all vendors and last-minute communications. We also booked the Cottage on Orange Street to get ready the morning of, which was very convenient and perfect for a small bridal party. Of course, weather is uncontrollable and August is very hot, so just keep this in mind if booking a summer wedding, as most of the events will be outside, unless you flip the space. Overall, highly recommend!

We hosted our wedding here in April 2023. It was the perfect venue! The space itself is gorgeous and needed minimal additional decorating. The food catered by 128 South was amazing. All of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful both during the planning and day of our event. Davis was our day-of coordinator and he was excellent! There were some last minute changes required due to weather and other unpredictable circumstances but he made sure everything went smoothly and that the whole evening went well! Would absolutely recommend 128 South!

We hosted a 50 person wedding and it was amazing. The site is warm and charming! The staff is wonderful and helpful! The food was spectacular!

I stumbled across this venue as I was walking downtown and they were setting up an event for that evening. They graciously like me come in and take a long. It was the first venue I looked at and later made an appt with mgmt. From the first look, to the first meeting and every interaction between then and the wedding, Katie and Jordan were absolutely wonderful, responsive and happy to give advice or recommendations. Response time was always very quick and thorough. The day of the even could not have been any better, the place looked beautiful, all of the staff were phenomenal and the food was outstanding! Many guests of mine raved about how awesome the food and service was. Because of their support and ability to seamlessly turn things around many people have said it's the best wedding they have ever been to. Yay! It was definitely the best day of my life. I highly recommend 128 South/The Bakery to anyone looking to get married in historic downtown Wilmington.

Everything was great, Davis bent over backwards to help us with whatever we wanted to do, and everything went very smoothly. Its a beautiful venue with great character, and excellent stewards maintaining that standard! Apart from some very minor communication issues where it took an extra day or two to hear back about a question, it was perfect.

This review is long overdue! My son got married at 128 South on May 28, 2022. We made all the arrangements long distance with Katie. Communication along the way was clear, prompt and professional. Any question was answered and nearly all requests accommodated. As for the day of the wedding, there are no words to describe how smoothly our event went and how we were able to completely immerse ourselves in the event, because we had no worries at all! Katie and Davis and the rest of the staff took care of EVERYTHING and allowed us to simply enjoy our day. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding of around 100 people. We had slightly less and it felt just right in size. We took advantage of the wedding day package which is almost all inclusive and it made planning a breeze. Everything looked beautiful and the food was delicious! Our guests all raved about what a great wedding it was and we could not agree more. Bravo 128 South!

Y’all, it was BEYOND perfect. 128 South made it so that I could relax, be present, and fully ENJOY my wedding day. I had so much trust in the venue and the team who made my wedding vision come to life. Katie Swain was our day of coordinator and she was so gracious in helping us navigate a COVID wedding postponement and planning of our big day. She had every minute (literally, every minute) of our ceremony and reception planned - she made sure everyone was where they needed to be at the right time and that everything was placed in just the right spot. Thanks to Katie and Davis, everything flowed seamlessly. I know that they say no wedding is perfect, and of course I’m a bit biased (and might have not noticed any errors because I was Bride-chilla), but I truly believe that our day was flawless. And it could not have happened without the 128 South team. Katie coordinated all of the details and scheduling between the DJ (shoutout to Shawn Booth from ActiveDJ Entertainment!), florist (Thank you FlowersbySol!), photographer (the talented Erin Taylor Photography) and family participation. What drew us to 128 South was the combination of a historic indoor space with character (those stained glass windows!) and the outdoor deck overlooking the river (perfect for sunset views and a nice breeze when a break is needed from the sweaty dance floor). The location of downtown was SO ideal for guests to walk from local hotels and to continue the party down the street at a local bar after the wedding ended. Another thing that we loved about 128 South is that the food and alcohol are part of the package (which means less planning!). You can choose from a variety of food packages - we went with the Charleston Touch and received dozens of compliments about the food in particular. We decided on the open bar package which kept guests happy and provided passed champagne for the toasts. Katie was so responsive, always on top of every detail that we needed, and flexible to facilitate last minute changes that are bound to occur. Davis was amazing as well as was so friendly and kind, a true professional. I can’t imagine the stress of coordinating someone else's’ event, but they were unfazed and ALWAYS, always, met us with a smile and helping hand (whether it be providing us with apps after newly wed photos, helping me with the impossible buttons on my dress to change into the reception party outfit, or making sure I had a drink in my hand). We can’t say enough good things about this venue and all of the staff that made this perfect day possible! Book it book it! I promise you will not regret it.

The venue was beautiful for a rehearsal dinner and welcome party afterwards. The chef prepared 2 plated meals which were delicious. We didn't need excessive decorations because the venue itself is so beautiful, and we never had a single negative interaction with staff. Katie Swain was our in-house day-of coordinator, and she was AMAZING (as was Davis!). No question or request was too small, and they took such great care of us throughout the entire process, from booking through planning, and all the way through the wedding day. We were also so happy the venue was able to accommodate us including our dogs in the ceremony. Our guests complimented us multiple times on the gorgeous venue, the delicious food, and the great staff. Our wedding party was shocked (in a good way!) at how efficiently the staff decorated and then got the decorations safely packed up at the end of the night. We couldn't have been happier to get married at 128 and can't recommend it enough.

The BEST place in Wilmington to host a wedding or event! My husband and I had our wedding here on 1/22/22 and EVERYTHING was far beyond our expectations. The venue itself is such a beautiful historic building. The office staff and the day of catering staff provide top notch service! We loved working with 128 South for our wedding reception this year! The food was phenomenal and we got so many compliments from our guests on how pretty the venue is! We chose to work with a coordinator, Jordan, through 128 South and highly recommend other couples do the same. Jordan was so helpful through the planning process— from answering our questions to coordinating with our vendors the week of, she did it all! She also crafted the perfect day-of timeline and ensured we stayed on track throughout the reception so that we could feel like guests at our own wedding. We truly enjoyed our experience working with everyone at 128 South, especially Jordan and wish we could get married there every year!

We got married on 10/30/21 and enlisted the help of 128’s Katie as our day of coordinator. We could not be more thrilled with how everything turned out. Katie was so responsive and helpful, always offering advice, ideas and recommendations where we needed it. The river view and deck is seriously awesome too. They allowed us to involve our two dogs in the wedding as well and shout out to 128’s Davis for helping keep them occupied so lovingly befor the ceremony! 128 South was amazing from start to finish! We hired Jordan their in house wedding coordinator and she was a dream to work with! She was on top of everything all through the process. We couldn’t have done it without her! The 128 south staff was incredible. They were super attentive and just so kind to all of our guests! And the food! We live in Massachusetts and our son got married in NC. Coordinating a rehearsal dinner and Welcome party from afar was our first challenge. Together with our son and his fiancé 128 South was chosen and we were extremely pleased. Katie and Jordan were available and willing to work with us every step of the way. From the menu selections, decorations for both rehearsal and welcome party, set up, wait staff to even bringing in a couple of bottles of my favorite wine, the night was flawless. I highly recommend 128 South for your special event with the assistance of Katie and Jordan the event planners. We are still smiling weeks later, as we reminisce about the event and you will too!

128 was AMAZING!!!! The day of, we rented the cottage for the ladies to get ready and then walked over for the ceremony and reception. Jordan did an amazing job making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious, the decor was amazing and everyone had a great time! Even the building was perfect for sunset pictures and photos after the ceremony. I would absolutely recommend this place for a perfect wedding day!!!

128 South was the best decision we made for our wedding day. JJ, Katie and Jordan were super supportive and responsive to all of our needs. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue, we had a lower budget and did not have to spend a lot of money on decorations because it is already so nice. We got to see the most beautiful sunset on the riverview deck during our reception. The food is great to!

The catering, drinks and staff are amazing! If you are fortunate enough to secure their in house coordinator Katie, you will have hit the jackpot. Planning a wedding during COVId from states away could have been a nightmare but 128 South made it a dream come true!

We hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner at this venue. We had 44 guests for dinner, and about 20 more join us for the welcome party on the river view deck afterwards. Jordan and Katie were extremely helpful from the minute we booked it. Their expertise with all the planning (floor plan, food selection, and bar set up) was perfect. They did everything to make sure the event ran smoothly, and their attention to each detail was superb. Jordan was always available to answer all my many questions, and did so in a very timely manner. The food could not have been better. We served a duo plate of tenderloin and crab cake which was cooked perfectly. Many guests raved about the delicious meal. Reugar, the on-site manager for the evening, as well as the servers, and bartenders were extremely professional and very amenable to any and all requests. I can not say enough about this venue. It was the perfect spot to celebrate a very special night.

My husband and I picked this venue pretty quickly due to the location, pricing, and availability of a day of coordinator. This venue exceeded all of our expectations and we still can’t believe how perfect our wedding was. Katie was amazing both before and day of in making sure that everything went off without a hitch. Even in the midst of COVID times the staff was so helpful and worked hard to give us our dream wedding. Recently I had the pleasure of working with 128 South for my son and daughter in laws wedding in August. As with almost every couple planning a wedding in 2020 in the midst of a global pandemic, the wedding that was planned wasn't possible. Initially, the wedding was planned for November 21st. Fearing a second wave of Covid 19 as was being predicted for the fall we made the difficult decision in June to change all the previous plans that had been made. I immediately called 128 South and worked with event planners Katie and Jordan . They both were consummate professionals dealing with everything I threw at them and it was a lot. We decided to move the wedding planned for November 21st up to August 6th to try and avoid high numbers of Covid. No longer did we have months to plan this wedding we had weeks, and Katie and Jordan stepped up and helped me every step of the way. Instead of having all our family and friends attending and having a band play for the party after, we went to immediate family only. The after rehearsal party planned for Bakery 105 was moved to be the sit down dinner after their beautiful small wedding. Katie and Jordan and the staff assigned for the wedding went above and beyond to ensure that safety was the number 1 priority. Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful. The staff at 128 South was very attentive and I didn't have to worry about a single detail. The food was amazing from the appetizers to the sit down meal. My wedding director told me she had worked with many venues in the past, but 128 South ranked at the very top of her list of wedding venues she had ever worked with. At 128 South the staff was professional, attentive, efficient, and the safety measures provided were beyond reproach. I highly recommend 128 South for your upcoming events.

Truth be told, I actually booked 128 South sight unseen since I was traveling from Pennsylvania for our wedding, and it was the best decision I could have made! I could not have been happier with the way my wedding at 128 South turned out! Katie and Jordan and the team at 128 South were incredible to work with throughout the whole wedding process, especially in the middle of COVID-19. They were so flexible and accommodating and put me so at ease in the midst of all the uncertainly surrounding our wedding day. We had such a good experience working with Katie (the wedding coordinator) and the crew at Bakery 105/128 South. We had our wedding set and planned out and then the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Katie did such a great job working through countless variations of what the day would look like with us, trying to figure out what would be allowed during all of the restrictions, while still trying to have our dream wedding. She more than succeeded our day at 128 South was perfect! The food was amazing, as were the bartenders and staff that worked at the event. Katie more than exceeded our expectations as a planner during the whole process, but especially the day of, she took care of so many things that we didn't even think about- her attention to detail is top notch! I would highly recommend Bakery 105/128 South and would work with them again.

128 South hosted my daughter's wedding in November, 2019. We had an evening of terrible weather (high winds, cold rain) but the wedding was beautiful. Everyone pulled together, the staff was great, the food was amazing and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. We were blessed to work with such professional, caring people to give our daughter the wedding of her dreams.

I'm not even sure where to start about our great experience with 128 South. We booked them initially because of the beauty of the venue. Its historic elements and vibes were exactly what we wanted and minimized the amount of decorations we needed to add. They were even more beautiful in the evening during our reception seeing the sun come through the windows and shine off the stained glass. We also loved that 128 South does its own catering. While some people may not prefer this, it was perfect for us because we didn't have to worry about reaching out to other caterers (yay, less wedding stress), AND the food was AMAZING!! Y'all, seriously I just want to eat there regularly it was so good. Katie and Jordan, our coordinators at 128, were extremely helpful and there whenever we needed them whether through phone or email, for questions and concerns big or small. And perhaps the best part was that on the wedding day I didn't have to worry about a thing. Literally, they had it all handled, and their impeccable planning of the flow and prep for the day were seamless. Everyone told me before the wedding "something will go wrong-big or small-just accept it and move on", but NOTHING went wrong, and I truly believe it was because of the great team at 128 South. Couldn't have imagined a better venue or team to help us on the best day of our lives.

This venue was absolutely gorgeous, everything went off without a hitch, and Katie, Jordan, and the crew were essential in planning our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, and every detail was planned to a tee, even with my husband and I in Greensboro. 128 South Catering was delicious, and catered to mine and my MIL's lactose intolerance with ease. I couldn't have asked for anything better, and am so thankful for everyone at 128 for making our day so special and so easy.

Where do I begin? From the very first meeting to the last thank you, Katie and the staff were awesome. They were very prompt on returning emails and were always accessible to talk about the details on the phone. They took the stress away from this mother and it allowed me to enjoy our daughters beautiful day. The venue itself was wonderful. The food was totally amazing. You will not be disappointed with this venue.

Simply Perfect. From set-up, to the final dessert and final drink - everything was up to our expectations - and we have very high expectations :-). Willing to do the little extra things, help with creative ideas along the way, and really paying attention to detail - I would highly recommend anyone to consider 128 South for any event.

I had the most wonderful experience with 128 South. I am a full time law student and truly did not have time to plan a wedding. Thank goodness for Katie. She helped me from day one, until after the wedding concluded. Actually! She helped us hike our wedding gifts up to our hotel and even the morning after the wedding helped us retrieve items we had lost on our own. 128 South makes your wedding day about you. I appreciated that most. There are so many opinions going around, and so many family members ... but never once was our day about anyone but us. The food was impeccable and the alcohol was served professionally and fast. My guests never found themselves waiting in line for a drink. Do yourself a favor and have your wedding here. I can’t express how much joy our wedding brought us, and I know choosing 128 south was a huge part of what brought us that joy.

I thought it would be stressful not being in Wilmington to the planning portion of our wedding ( we live in D.C.) but it was not stressful at all! Katie made the process so easy and walked us through it all. Katie set up everything the way I asked and made it look absolutely beautiful. Being out of town we did not get to taste test the food but it all turned out delicious. If you are thinking about having your wedding at 128 South - DO IT!

There is no way possible we could ever repay Katie & the 128 South team! My goodness, they were a gem to work with. As out-of-town brides, we didn't have a clue where to begin, but with Katie as our day-of-coordinator we always felt in good hands. Jordan & Katie were always so professional and also realistic with us. We never felt like we couldn't ask even the silliest of questions. Our guests raved about the food (Charleston Touch) and the service everyone was provided. We both come from a long line of personalities and the 128 South made both families feel at home. 128 South is absolutely the best. We got married there two weeks ago and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The space is stunning, the food is amazing and the staff is incredible. From the very first tour of the venue they have been so easy to work with and were quick to help with any questions or issues I had during the planning process. I also highly recommend there event coordinator katie swain. She made the wedding planning process a breeze and was a joy to work with. She got every detail perfectly and kept the day of running smoothly. I would highly recommend 128 South to any couple!

Such a great venue! I was the wedding planner for a recent wedding at 128 South and I must say the experience rates up there with my top venues. Katie and Jordan were vigilant to make sure every detail was perfect! Since it was an out of town venue for us they were extra helpful with resources, referral of vendors and every detail was met with perfection. The day of the wedding , Ashley worked with us and I can’t even begin to say enough good things about her care of our every need! Her attention to the details was impeccable. 128 South was amazing! They took care of everything before and during the big day! I cannot recommend them enough. They come up with everything and will answer any crazy questions or concerns you have.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at 128 South this September and we could not have been more thrilled. We are from the New Jersey area and actually traveled for our wedding because we loved the space so much. Not only was it ascetically beautiful but the food was incredible! All of our guests were raving about it. And the staff, particularly our day of coordinator (Katie), were incredible to work with. Hurricane Florence hit about 9 days before our event and we were really worried about how it would effect our day but Katie was calm and reassuring every step of the way. She went above and beyond to ease any tension or concerns we had and made sure we had the most perfect day possible.

128 South is a beautiful, historic venue in a great location with great food, views and staff! Jordan, Katie, and the entire staff were a pleasure to work with and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We even had to change ceremony locations (due to the impact of Hurricane Florence,) and they gladly worked with us to accommodate our ceremony there. The food at our cocktail hour and reception was delicious as well, and the bartenders willingly made our somewhat unique speciality cocktails. We loved every minute of our wedding at 128 South and would highly recommend it if you're looking for something a bit more unique and historical! Thank you, 128!

The venue was beautiful the day/night of the wedding, and the staff was accommodating and maintained great communication throughout the whole process. So glad we chose 128- the location is perfect to downtown- and our guests raved about the food! Would highly recommend!

It's truly hard to even begin to describe how wonderful all things related to our wedding day turned out, all thanks to 128 South! From our initial visit, all the way through the sparkler exit, the team at 128 South made my husband & I feel at home & helped bring our dream day to life. We fell in love with the space, the food (oh my goodness, the food!) and opportunity to make our intimate wedding our own. Months later, we still have friends & family members raving about our day, as one of the best weddings they have been to. I can not even begin to tell you how amazing these women were! They took my dream wedding and made it come true! (all within my budget). They went above and beyond to make my wedding day perfect and easy for me! Even down to the decor! I changed my mind regarding my decor THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING and they made it happen! I am telling you if you want a perfect southern wedding this is the place!! I have also gone to several other events at this venue and every single one has been amazing!! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

I’m so glad we chose 128 South for our wedding venue!! Our day of coordinator, Katie, was spectacular and really did everything to make our day special. It was so easy to work with their preferred vendors and we were ecstatic about how everything turned out. We rented The Cottage across the street for myself and the bridesmaids to get ready in. It was adorable and the porch made a perfect setting for our “first look.” The food at 128 South is amazing and so many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Couldn’t have asked for a better venue/day of coordinating. Everyone there far exceeded my expectations and I couldnt have been happier with how it turned out. They helped with everything even when my lighting vender meased up they made sure to have it fixed for me in time! Katie made the day go so smooth and easy it was perfect!!

This venue is absolutely amazing. My husband and I hosted a small wedding reception here, and everything from the food to the service was impeccable. The venue coordinators were patient with all of our questions, and they were so helpful during the setup and tear down processes. The venue itself had the rustic and homey feel we were looking for, which made it easy to dress up with our DIY decorations. We highly recommend 128 South to any couple looking to get married in Wilmington!

Absolutely gorgeous place! I had both my ceremony and reception here, and they took care of everything from start to finish and the coordinators know the place better than anyone! The way they displayed the decor was spot on and I wouldn’t change a thing, they kept everything timely and the event had amazing flow, they left me without a single worry, and everyone had a great time! I highly recommend the wedding parties stay at the Stemmermans inn as well since it is only a foot away, it was so convenient to walk through the connecting doors for my bridal entrance!

The team at 128 South is so incredibly amazing! From their professionalism and friendliness, to their attention to detail, to the fact that they always provided a solution to my every request... it is safe to say the team made my wedding day an absolute dream! Even now, six months after my big day, all our friends and family continue to comment on how great of a celebration it was. 128 South is a dream of a venue and I would highly recommend the venue to any bride looking to be wed in downtown Wilmington, NC.

Honestly cannot say enough good things about 128 South! The venue itself is so unique and beautiful-the deck is my absolute favorite! On top of that, all of the staff that we worked with were amazing-Chere was our day of coordinator and she was just the best. The whole wedding planning experience was wonderful and our wedding was perfect!

We had our reception at 128 South and could not have been happier. The whole team at 128 South was so helpful and incredibly responsive. I had a lot of questions as we were planning everything, and they were so patient with me. They offered great recommendations for other vendors in the area, and you can tell they have great connections with the overall wedding industry in Wilmington. They basically have everything down to a science and made it incredibly easy for us to plan the wedding, and it all went incredibly smooth the night of the reception. We also loved that they offered food and beverage services versus having to search for a different caterer. They have great bar packages, and their food is fantastic. We had a lot of guests tell us that it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had! We held our cocktail hour on the back patio, moved inside for dinner and speeches, and then back out to the patio for dancing/rest of the night, which seemed to flow really well with the different spaces. Our guests loved the patio area – it offers beautiful views to the river, and the built in benches offered a huge plus for different areas for people to visit and congregate. The inside doesn’t require a whole lot either with the brick and stained glass windows, so the building offers a lot of character without having to add a lot of decorations to it. Everyone that worked the reception was so sweet and friendly. You will not be disappointed if you choose 128 South!

My husband and I had our reception at 128 South and we had such an amazing experience! Our guests had the time of their lives and raved about the unique beauty of the venue and the delicious food. We worked with Chere and Jordan throughout the process and they were wonderful! They were very understanding, patient and responsive and ultimately helped create such an unforgettable reception for us. The bartenders and wait staff that worked at our reception were also very professional, helpful and attentive. Our reception was everything we could have ever hoped for and more!

I had 108 people and it was the perfect venue for that size of a wedding. Katie, the coordinator through 128 South, was also amazing.
