Heidi was so helpful and patient with answering all of my questions and the hairstylist Kristen did AMAZING WORK, not a single hair out of place at my outdoor wedding. My bridesmaids chose different hairstyles that they brought in and she was able to match them all and work with the different hair types that my friends have. Truly amazing and kind!
I knew I could trust Heidi and her team completely after I met them at my hair/makeup trial. They made my bridal party feel the same way on my wedding day. They were kind, efficient, and listened to exactly what everyone wanted in order to make us feel confident and beautiful. They are knowledgeable and so, so talented. They got our party of 8 out the door without on time without breaking a sweat. Endless gratitude to Heidi (hair) and Vyktoria (makeup). You are amazing.
My wedding planner Jenna Culley gets the credit for this find--my experience with Viktoriya at Hair by Heidi was AMAZING! One of my main stressors about our wedding was my hair, and the fact that we needed vendors from out of town (we live Chicago and our venue was close -ish to Minneapolis). My hair is curly, thick, long and never stays in place. Humidity is not my friend. So our unseasonably warm June wedding in northern WI could have been a hair disaster! Instead, Viktoriya treated this like training for the hair olympics. We did a trial, she made me sit near a steamy shower, she tested products, guided me through some clip in purchases to hold the structure, and came up with a detailed game plan. I felt SO comfortable in her hands. She was so incredibly professional. She showed up day of ready to go to war and powered through 7 looks for my family and absolutely NAILED my hair. It turned out BETTER than Inspo photos, and stayed in place e better than I expected x100. My hair has never looked like this, not frizzed like this, and while I was sure I looked like a wet poodle walking down the aisle sweaty after first look and photos, I looked in the mirror and had the best surprise of my life. It was all just the way she did it hours before. She is a magician, and also just a wonderful person to be around. She was so fun to have around on my wedding morning. Heidi is awesome to work with as well, and I just can't tell you how sad I am we don't live close to them. I'd use them absolutely all the time, and for everything.
Miranda and Viktoryia (sp?) were amazing - beautiful work, professional: 12/10. Heidi herself was a clear and consistent communicator and well-organized. Strongly recommend 139 Hair by Heidi (and Miranda for makeup and Viktoriya (sp?)!!!
I used Hair by Heidi on my wedding day for me and my bridal party and could not have been happier! The trial beforehand made me feel confident that I would love my updo on the big day, and the process of setting up a schedule for everyone was totally seamless. Jessica was our hairstylist and she was excellent, we ended up finishing ahead of schedule because she was so on top of things! I would highly recommend Hair by Heidi for your big day!
Such an amazing experience. I live out of state and Heidi was so easy to work with and worked hard to make sure both my trial and day of were perfectly scheduled. Viktoryia made my hair look flawless and it was exactly what I wanted. She was also an absolute blast to have around the day of the wedding and made sure myself and the wedding party were well taken care of and happy.
I booked hair and make-up from Heidi, with my MUA being Miranda and hair was Jessica. Heidi was excellent at organizing everything, while Miranda and Jessica were theeee best. They did an amazing job on hair and make-up; being the bride, I got a little make-up kit for touch-ups throughout the day - didn't even use it because my makeup wasn't going anywhere! My hair lasted the entire day and night, as well. Super happy with them and I'm thankful I found them through The Knot!
I am genuinely so happy that I chose Heidi to be my hairstylist for my wedding day. She is the sweetest human and she did such a beautiful job with my hair, as well as the other gals who got ready with me. Scheduling a trial session was easy, Heidi welcomed my feedback, and my wedding day updo was truly perfect! You cannot go wrong with choosing Heidi!
Heidi is so sweet, and was a joy to work with. I had a vague idea of what I wanted my hair to look like, but really didn't have much hope that the style I wanted would work with my hair type. Heidi did some kind of sorcery because not only was she able to give my stick straight hair volume that lasted the whole day, but the completed look was absolutely stunning! Everything about it was perfect, and she did an equally amazing job on each of my bridesmaids. She worked with their references and hair types/styles to create looks that were beautiful on each of them! We also had makeup services done, and Rachel did an equally amazing job on that! She was kind and funny, and we all looked amazing! Everyone's hair and makeup held up in the summer heat and humidity throughout the entire day and evening. I planned my wedding from a different state, and even when I completely mixed up the date of my trial, she didn't hesitate to help correct it and fit me in during the brief period I was in town to settle the major planning decisions. The whole process was smooth and both she and Rachel were responsive and communicative in answering questions. I had a great experience with them from start to finish!
Heidi was amazing to work with as I scrambled to find someone last minute. Viktoriya was AMAZING and even did an extra hairstyle last minute on someone in our wedding party. The communication was awesome and pricing was incredibly reasonable.
I HIGHLY recommend Heidi for all of your hair styling needs. I have very curly hair, so it was really important that I found someone, to do my hair for my wedding, who knew how to work with my texture. Heidi was really great to work with and did an amazing job bringing my vision to life!
I am so happy that I went with this company. The communication was great and timely. I had a terrible experience with my sister's wedding where the hair and make-up ladies never showed up, the stylists that I had were so reassuring about being there on time and were texting me if they got stuck in traffic to keep me posted that they would for sure be there. They had good energy, were fun, but yet professional. Viktoriya did my makeup and she was so receptive to changes that I wanted to make the day of. She was open to my concerns after my trial (just needed a stronger primer - which was no big deal because she knew right away what I needed and fixed it), and she was knowledgable. I went with airbrush for my foundation and it stayed the entire night. I had Bri for my hair and loved it. She was able to use my super long hair to do a style that was more suitable to shorter hair and made it how I wanted it. She gave advice since I was getting my haircut and colored before my wedding, so that the highlights wouldn't look funky in a bun. Everything that these two ladies stayed the entire night and I couldn't be more thankful to them!
My hair and makeup were done by Lisa Christine, she was wonderful! She did a great job on everything for both the trial and the wedding day, and she has such wonderful energy which is so nice on a busy day! I’m very glad I booked her!
Heidi and her team were wonderful. They were prompt, professional, and it was so much fun getting ready with them! I didn't have much of a vision for my hair, so Heidi asked a few questions and then did her thing! I absolutely loved it and it stayed in place all night. Rachel did all of our makeup and we all felt so beautiful! Olesya did the bridesmaids hair and was fabulous, as well. A wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend going through Heidi and her team!!
I first learned of Aleesha when she did my makeup at my sister in Law’s wedding. I was thrilled with how I looked then so naturally I wanted her for my own wedding. Aleesha is so talented and does a nice job of making you feel glam while enhancing your natural beauty! She has lashes, airbrush or regular foundation and a whole bunch of options for the other parts of your makeup. Huge Thank you for all you did we were so happy to have you as part of our event!
Betsy works with 139 Hair by Heidi and this is how I found her for my wedding hair. She did such an excellent job of duplicating my vision from Pinterest picture to reality. I felt so beautiful in my wedding hair and would not have changed a thing. She also did my hair for my engagement pictures and my trial so I had a few different runs at having her style me, they were all so lovely! Thank you so much for also doing my girls hair and my mother in law, we all felt beautiful and listened to throughout the experience and I was just so thrilled.
Heidi and her team were amazing! I was worried about my wedding day hair but Heidi quickly changed that and made all my hair dreams come true! She listened to my wants and made sure everything was perfect! The day of was smooth sailing. She and her team were so professional on the day of and made sure every girl felt beautiful and that we had ample time to get all 11 people’s hair done! Booking with Heidi was the best! I really appreciated that pricing was really transparent and that I was able to book hair and make up all together. At our trial, Heidi and Miranda made me feel really comfortable. I was not certain which direction I felt like going and they were very patient with me and helped me create my vision without judgement! First, Heidi is absolutely outstanding to work with (especially during these crazy covid times). Her attention to detail, timely communication, and frequent check ins made the process stress free and truly enjoyable. She took care of every behind the scene details and I never had to fret.
Second, I love that hair/makeup trials are included in this process. I wasn't happy with my first hair trail and she work to ensure that we found the right style and stylist to capture my full vision.
Third, I had the BEST trial and wedding day experience with Betsy (hair) and Aleesha (airbrush makeup). They were so open to feedback, ideas, and making sure it was "just right." These two were a dream team for us. They are truly so gifted and talented at their work!
I'm so glad that we had Heidi to do my bridal look and the hair for my bridesmaids and mom. My trial with her was so helpful to figure out what I wanted my hair to look like ahead of time so I was comfortable going into my wedding day. Not only did she do some beautiful looks for my bridesmaids, my mom (who is not used to having her hair done!) loved her look too. My sister, who has long, thick, curly hair, commented on how quickly Heidi was able to do a beautiful half-up style for her when her hair often takes her twice the time to do something more simple on her own. All the bridesmaids had very different types of hair and Heidi knew how to work with them all. And even when I wanted to make some last small changes to my look and didn't feel like I was able to articulate what I was looking for in the moment, Heidi knew what to do and got my hair looking the way I wanted it with just a few little adjustments. I also was floored that my hair stayed in it's curls and looked beautiful even after outdoor photos and several hours of dancing at our reception. Heidi is such a professional and I would absolutely recommend her to any bride-to-be!
Heidi and her team were a dream to work with, so much that I hired her twice, last year during our small/intimate wedding and again this year for our (rescheduled) reception. Without a doubt she made the experience so great and helped this stressed bride relax and feeling the most beautiful I’ve ever felt.

Betsy is the magician who did my hair and 6 bridesmaids’ hair. She is fantastic!!! I asked for a classic high bun and she nailed it. My hair stuck very well the entire night!! Some bridesmaids had more creative styles and they all looked great. 👍🏼👍🏼 Two huge thumbs up to the Hair by Heidi team!!
Wow, I just loved Heidi. My hair was absolutely fantastic for my wedding, and it also stayed that way the WHOLE DAY. This is a feat especially with my hair. I changed my mind about what I wanted to do after our trial, and even with just a vague sentence in an email about what I wanted it changed to, Heidi nailed it. I also last minute asked for flowers in my hair, and she made them look so magical! They stayed in the whole day as well. She's super great at communication and capturing the vision of what you want, or giving suggestions if you don't know. I highly recommend her. Heidi is also just a super easy and chill person to be around. 10/10!!
Heidi was an absolute dream to work with! She is a true master when it comes to creating the perfect hairstyle! I have really thick long hair, so I was a bit nervous about my hair holding a curl since I've always struggled to style it in any way other than straight. Heidi knew exactly how to work with my hair type and my curls lasted all day/night! Heidi did an amazing job in bringing my vision to life and I couldn't be happier in choosing her! Heidi was one of the most responsive, thoughtful, and friendly vendors we booked for our wedding. Though due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our reservation with her, she was lovely to work with and very flexible. Highly reccomend!

I would definitely recommend 139 Hair by Heidi to anyone who is planning an upcoming wedding. Heidi is extremely talented and was able to make my wedding hairstyle vision a reality for my wedding day. She was very organized and helped answer any questions that I had along the way. She helped me create a timeline for myself and bridal party so that the morning of my wedding, everything ran smoothly and everyone completed their hair and makeup on schedule. My bridesmaids all came the day of the wedding with different hairstyle visions and Heidi was easily able to style their hair the way they wanted it. Samuelle was my makeup artist for my wedding and also did an amazing job and is very talented! I have never had such beautiful makeup! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup as well. I received so many compliments on my hair and make up the day of my wedding! I am so happy I booked 139 Hair by Heidi for my wedding hair and makeup needs!
I have to say, the entire wedding planning process for me was not one I would want to go through again, but the 139 Hair by Heidi team was one of the highlights of my wedding planning process.
I'll start with Heidi: she was incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgeable. She was quick to answer any question I had and really made sure that the entire process, from the trial to the final touch-ups on my wedding day, went smoothly. Even when we had to add an extra girl for hair and make-up last minute, Heidi and her team didn't bat an eye and made it happen!
She also connected me with two amazing ladies for my hair and make-up team, Betsy and Miranda.
Betsy and Miranda did an amazing job capturing the look I wanted for my wedding day. I was looking for something clean and casual and these ladies nailed it. Betsy created a beautiful updo that was really elegant and perfectly fit my dress. Miranda did an amazing job helping to highlight my features, while still making me feel like myself. Both ladies really listened to what I asked for and delivered. And they were so much fun to work with!

Heidi and her team serviced 11 of our girls on my special day and we were all so thrilled with the experience. We chose to get the hair and makeup package for all 11 ladies, each one loved their unique experience. I felt the most beautiful that I have ever felt in my entire life, thanks to Heidi & her team. All of the team showed up prompt to the location and stuck to the schedule we had in place. HIRE HER NOW!!! I went with Heidi after many hours of searching for someone with a knack for up do’s and she slayed expectations. I showed her inspiration pics and we built off of them and let me tell you... I do not have a lot of hair and Heidi made it look like I had thick beautiful locks piled up there! It was absolutely beautiful. I went with the lovely package which was her and then Miranda was the makeup artist. Then I had to postpone for covid and sadly Miranda was no longer available for our new date. We did have a vow ceremony on our OG date though and she absolutely killed my makeup for that! So Heidi found me another makeup artist for the new date, Samuelle, and set up another trial and she was also wonderful!! I gave her some feedback for the big day and we switched a couple things and my makeup was freakin’ flawless. As was my hair!! I seriously can’t recommend Heidi, Samuelle, and Miranda enough from my own experience and Heidi brought two of her other gals for the rest of my bridal party and they were great too. We all looked sooo pretty!! You can’t go wrong with booking your hair and makeup through her. 10/10 <3
Heidi (hair) and Aleesha (makeup) made me look and feel so beautiful on my special day. Heidi kept in contact with me throughout the chaos of COVID-19 causing me to postpone the wedding and was extremely flexible. She did such an amazing job as did Aleesha. I had such a great experience working with Heidi! Leading up to the wedding, she was very easy to communicate with, responding quickly to all of my questions, which I really appreciated.
Heidi did a wonderful job of adapting my reference photo to suit my hair length and texture. I have curly hair and wanted that to shine through even with an updo. I was so happy with how she highlighted my curls even while creating a polished hairstyle that stayed flawlessly in place all night long, through dancing and sweating!
Heidi's colleague Aleesha helped out with my makeup for the day and she also did a wonderful job. I don't wear a ton of makeup on a day-to-day basis, so I didn't to come my trial with a very specific vision, but Aleesha worked with me to figure out a look that made me feel glam but also like myself. I was so happy with how it turned out!
Heidi and Aleesha are both very personable, exactly the kind of fun, relaxed people you want in your orbit on your wedding day!
Overall, I couldn't recommend Heidi and her team more. I got tons of compliments on my hair and makeup throughout the night and, more importantly, I felt like I had never looked more beautiful!
Heidi did a great job with my hair, especially considering I had only very vague ideas of what I wanted it to look like. She also has an amazing makeup partner, Miranda, who also did a wonderful job. And on top of it all, they were cautious/safe about COVID and were super fun to be around.
Heidi and Samuelle did my hair and make up for my wedding. They were both friendly, fun, accommodating, easy to work with and responsive throughout the whole process! I received many compliments and couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. My hair and make up stayed all day! I would definitely recommend Heidi and her team of rockstars for your event!

Heidi has a true talent! She was able to give me the updo I didn't think was possible with what thin hair I have. Miranda did makeup and is able to do anything from a more natural look to full on glam. Heidi and Miranda are a power duo! They were able to complete hair and makeup for myself, mom, and 6 bridesmaids in about 4 hours and everyone looked beautiful.
Heidi was amazing, both her personality and creativity! She is able to make any dream hairstyle a reality if you have pictures of what you want. She also has plenty of her own ideas to recommended and try if you are a bride or bridesmaid who doesn’t really have a hair vision in mind! Heidi did my hair as well as my bridesmaids hair and they were by far the best updos I have ever seen at a wedding. I received so many compliments on my hair! The best thing about my wedding being cancelled and rescheduled was that Heidi was available on my rescheduled wedding day! She did a phenomenal job piecing together a unique and classic updo for my wedding. I style hair as well so I was super picky when choosing my own hair stylist for my wedding day and I am so glad Heidi was available to do my styling. I was lucky to have the opportunity to watch some of her online teaching sessions, so I knew that her technique is consistent and reliable. I also had so much fun working with her and her makeup artist Miranda. They are both lovely people. They put me at ease during the trial session and absolutely wanted to make sure I was happy with my styles. I would definitely recommend working with Heidi and Miranda!
Aleesha and Jessica are absolutely fantastic. My entire wedding party looked gorgeous. Our hair and makeup was modern, polished and fresh. Aleesha and Jessica are efficient, yet personable as we had eleven individuals who needed hair and makeup services. Hiring 139 Hair by Heidi was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. Heidi is AMAZING at what she does. I came to her unsure of what I wanted and defeated from unsuccessful hair trials with a couple of different stylist who had told me my hair was kinda difficult to work with. I have very long, fine, and silky hair that doesn't always hold style well. After my trial with Heidi I finally felt the weight lift off my shoulders knowing that I finally found a stylist that took the time to make sure I would get exactly what I wanted for my wedding hair. She asked all the right questions to help me make a final decision for the style and made sure I voiced things I might have wanted tweaked on the day of. And boy did it turn out amazing the day of! She made me and my whole bridal party feel beautiful and I can't thank her enough! I will recommend her to any bride out there looking for a fun and caring hairstylist.
I was thrilled with the services provided from Hair by Heidi. I loved the way my hair was styled and it was such a fun experience. She was so friendly and professional. I would recommend her hands down!
I hired Heidi as the hair stylist for my wedding in August 2018 (I fully intended to write this review much sooner, but time clearly got away from me!). Heidi and her team were amazing! They arrived right on time, managed the schedule perfectly to complete everyone's look (they were responsible for styling 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 1 grandma, and me), and did it all with smiles on their faces. I did a trial with Heidi and her makeup artist, Miranda, before my wedding day, and they were both very attentive and willing to adjust my look based on my requests. They're both also so sweet, funny, and full of positive vibes, so it was great to have their kind presence there the morning of my wedding day!
Miranda, the makeup artist Heidi partners with, deserves her own special kudos as well. Miranda can do a metallic smoky eye like nobody's business, and she made my multicultural bridal party look like more beautiful versions of themselves on my wedding day!
Heidi is absolutely incredible! I loved my hair for my wedding and it held up so well! She was so nice and easy to work with! Heidi came to the hotel we were getting ready at and did a great job staying on time but also making it so much fun! She also did my hair for my engagement pictures and did an amazing job!
Miranda did my make up my engagement pictures and my wedding. She is also incredible and so much fun to work with! She answered all of my questions about air brush since I have never had it done before. My make up held up all day! Even though all of the happy tears!

I got to work with Heidi at a recent shoot I was photographing, and I absolutely love her work! She created a look that was so beautifully timeless and elegant, while at the same time unique. Not only did this updo stay absolutely perfect all day; it did so in spite of being exposed to several hours of misty rain!! As a wedding photographer it’s common for me to fix falling bobby pins or flyaway hairs after a few hours, but that never happened at this shoot. I’m blown away and hope to work with her again soon!
Jessica did my hair and a couple of my bridesmaids and my mother's hair on my wedding day. She had good attention to detail and was very focused. I absolutely loved what she did with my bridesmaids and my mom's hair - it looks lovely and the updos were worth the money. My own hair looked nice, but the curls did fall a bit later in the day which is maybe to be expected. Overall, I was impressed with Jessica's work and Heidi was always so kind and quick to respond via email.
Jessica did a marvelous job for my daughter and attendant on September 28....their hairstyles were works of art! Jessica was on time, efficient and a real pro. We would recommend her highly!
I had signed a contract with a different hair stylist 9 months before my wedding but had a trial just a month before. When this trial went unexpectedly bad, I panicked and reached out to Heidi.
She quickly emailed me back and set me up for a trial with Jessica. With just two weeks before my wedding I had an amazing trial and Jessica was able to accommodate doing my hair and 6 others. I heard nothing but amazing things from my bridesmaids about how talented Jessica was and how KIND she was!

Heidi was my absolute favorite person/business woman/vendor I could have on my wedding day! After checking out her website and Instagram page and then reaching out to her, I instantly knew she was exactly who I wanted to do my bridal hair. Once meeting her, she puts you at such ease with her genuine personality, creative ideas and flawless execution. For me, my hair was very important (like many of you soon to be brides) and I cannot even begin to tell you how stress free, easy and fun it is to work with Heidi. She is very passionate about her work, great at communication, and recommended an amazing second stylist she knows to help us the day of to complete the bridal party and both mother's hair. LOVED my hair and makeup! Heidi was unavailable my wedding day but I looked with Danielle and she was amazing! I did an updo with a lot of curls and even extensions. I brought in a pinterest picture and it looked better than the photo! I also booked Miranda for my makeup and she made me feel so beautiful while still feeling like myself. I tend to not wear a lot of makeup, but she made me look natural but glamourous. I brought in some of my own makeup which she used! All of my bridesmaids, mom, and mother in laws all loved their hair and makeup too! Highly recommended! They also came to my venue and stayed on scheduled! THANK YOU for making me feel so beautiful!

She listened to me and set me up with members from her team (Danielle and Miranda) for hair and makeup, who also ensured my bridal party was taken care of. They did an incredible job with us and were so refreshing to work with. This company exudes expertise and humility. Heidi knew that I liked my hair long, curly and very "poofy"; she did exactly what I wanted and more. She was very professional starting from the trial run in her amazing studio to the day of traveling to our hotel. She also has a great group of girls that work with her for bigger events. Brenna was very professional and put me at ease for a trial run (back-up for pregnant Heidi). Both Brenna and Heidi took the time to ask me questions and get to know me. Loved working with Heidi, she has great communication skills, very organized and prompt. Jessica did hair for my wedding party and I. She was fabulous!! All the girls were amazed with her ability to replicate a picture so exactly. Everyones hair stayed in place perfectly, even through the boat ride! We recieved tons of compliments on how different and well done the styles were. Jessica is an amazing stylist and fun to spend the morning with!

Heidi did such an amazing job with my hair. I sort of had an idea of what I wanted, but Heidi made it exactly what I wanted. I had never seen my hair as beautiful as it was on the day of my wedding. It even rained the day of, but my hair never looked bad. I've gotten my hair done before and the stylists have ripped on my hair to the point of crying, but that is NOT Heidi--you would never even know Heidi was doing your hair because she is so gentle. Heidi also did all of my bridesmaid's hair as well as my mom's hair. The bridesmaids all picked out their styles and Heidi made them look gorgeous. My mom wanted a hair down style and Heidi made my mom look like a queen and all she did was curl it, but it looked so much more than that. My mom was so pretty! Not only is Heidi so good at hair, she is so friendly. Heidi is someone you can just sit and chat with. Book Heidi for your perfect wedding hair and I promise you won't be disappointed or regret your decision!
I worked with Heidi and her team to do hair and makeup for myself (bride), 5 bridesmaids, and my mom - and she made it SO easy. We had Brenna for hair and Aleesha for makeup, and I was 100% certain I made the right decision after my hair/makeup trial with the two of them. All three woman were so easy and fun to work with! Heidi even creates a day-of timeline of exactly when each woman would be getting her hair and makeup done. That took so much guess work out of the morning! Heidi is AMAZING. She worked with me to try three different styles at my trial and helped me with the decision that would work best with my dress :) She is so sweet, patient and kind, I can't recommend her enough! I wish I could work with her again!
She did an amazing job with everyone's hair on the day of the wedding, and gave a tutorial for the insert and removal of my veil.
I also have to note that my mother's hair was GORGEOUS! My mom didn't have an exact vision of what she wanted, and Heidi was able to take all her ideas and combine them into a perfect loose updo!
I cannot recommend Heidi enough! She nailed it on the first shot at my bridal hair trial. She listened to my opinions and thoughts – wasn’t hurt if I didn’t like anything. I showed her my thoughts from Pinterest what my hair is like and she took that into consideration when doing my updo with my natural curls. She also did updos for my MOH and my one bridesmaid. Both of their updos were stunning! My bridesmaid said it was the best her hair has ever looked! It ended up being windy on my wedding day but all our updos stayed put very well! I did have to tuck my loose side curls behind my ears due to the wind, but that was something easily fixed. Heidi was very punctual and professional through the whole process. She even finished all of us in the timeframe she provided. I loved Heidi’s down to earth personality, she’s very easy going, and super nice to chat with while our hair was being done. As far as makeup, her team member Briana did the 3 of us. Briana did a fantastic job with our makeup. I didn’t want to take my makeup off because I looked so pretty! Both ladies were so great to work with! 11/10 would recommend!!!
I was so impressed and grateful for her service. I was pretty stressed with all the planning, and I fell behind looking for someone to do my hair. I was really worried I wouldn't find a place on such short notice. I called and the same day Heidi got back to me and scheduled a hair trial which calmed my nerves. Also she made it possible to have her come to the wedding venue the day of! That was much appreciated and made it a lot easier. During the hair trial I showed maybe 3 pictures and she made my hair perfectly of what I wanted. She was amazing! Heidi was AMAZING. She did a very thorough job and was so much fun to work with. Not to mention, she came right to my venue to do my hair the morning of my wedding. It was a little on the spendy side, but to me it was worth every penny. I have very tough hair to work with, so I was very nervous about getting my hair done. However, with Heidi, I had nothing to worry about. I got so many compliments on my hair throughout the night, and it was exactly what I wanted. Heidi was great to communicate with, so talented, so cute and such a genuine, kind, calming presence on my wedding day! I wasn’t sure what I wanted for hair but she had good questions at the trial and genuinely cared to make it look exactly as I wanted! She did two styles at the trial because I wasn’t sure if I wanted it up or down (both were beautiful it was hard to decide) and was ready for whatever day of! Definitely a vendor that I loved working with and was so happy to have as part of my day! Miranda was with her for makeup and she made me feel SO beautiful! I had never really had makeup done professionally but after my trial I seriously didn’t want to wash it off - I loved it so much - and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. Heidi styles my bridal hair and the hair of two bridesmaids for my wedding in February and did a phenomenal job. She is so fast and knows what will look good with your hair and face shape! I loved working with her and would recommend her to anyone.

She was already booked the day of my wedding, but consulted with her other bride and figured out a schedule that worked for both of us. The hair trial was fun and exciting. Afterwards, when a hair trim turned into something more than a trim, Heidi was able to create a different hair style for me that was just as elegant as the hair trial updo. I love her artistry! Heidi and her crew are absolutely AMAZING! We had seven bridesmaids and my mother who got their hair done and she made my vision come alive! Heidi is kind, easy to talk to, efficient, prompt, and most importantly so detailed in her work that she will make every bride feel beautiful! My hair and makeup was flawless all day and night and I spent much of my time on the dance floor! My makeup was equally as flawless and done by Miranda Xiong (Mirandart) who works with Heidi doing makeup. Miranda is the sweetest and SO good at what she does. I don’t know much about makeup but Miranda made me feel at ease and explained the different types of airbrush and product she was using. My bridesmaids were in LOVE with their makeup and as was I. When I first found Heidi, I was so impressed with her hairstyles and all the reviews saying the bride’s updo stayed up the entire day - turns out she not only does beautiful work, she is a beautiful person inside and out! She works with Miranda Xiong (Mirandart) for makeup. Both women are down to earth and easy/fun to talk to. Heidi was able to put together a beautiful hairstyle for me that was exactly what I envisioned after I gave her incredibly vague instructions and ideas. She kept me SO calm on the morning of my wedding. My hair (and the bridesmaids’ hairstyles) stayed in place from 10 am until 2 am that night, including 5 long hours of dancing. Miranda’s makeup stayed in place flawlessly and still looked perfectly airbrushed at the end of the night. A touch-up kit was included, but I only needed to touch up my lips before the ceremony and that was it. I had so many comments the day-of and afterward on how great the hair and makeup turned out not just for me, but for our bridesmaids and the mothers, too. Heidi and Miranda put so much care into their work and had me looking and feeling my absolute best on my big day! If I could have these ladies doing my hair and makeup all the time, I would!

Heidi and her team did hair and makeup for myself, the 10 girls in my bridal party, and the moms all in 3.5 hours! She and her team came to our venue which helped make things much less stressful for everyone seeing as we didn't have to travel. Heidi was so friendly and easy to work with! She was also quick to respond to all of my emails. After my hair trial I had two different hair styles that she had done that I loved, and she was fine with me picking either on the day of the wedding. I loved my hair style on my wedding day, and all of my bridal party members loved the styles she did for them as well. Miranda was my makeup artist and she did an amazing job as well! She was so nice and easy to talk to, and she made it super easy for me to decide how I wanted my makeup done. I would highly recommend Heidi and her team to any bride!

I was at first bummed when I reached out to Heidi and learned she was taking a well-deserved break my wedding weekend. but that meant I got to work with her wonderful team! Miranda did my makeup, and she is so bubbly and happy you cant help but feel relaxed as you get ready for your day. she mastered the "you, but enhanced " wedding look too- my makeup was beautiful without being too overdone. Danielle worked on my hair, and she was so patient with my worries, and even did a second trial with me when the first one wasnt *quite* right. shes a perfectionist too... as we were all leaving our hotel, she stopped a bridesmaid to pin up a loose curl! Heidi was still involved in coordinating so I felt like I got the full Hair by Heidi treatment. I'd recommend these ladies to anyone!!

I loved working with Heidi! She did my hair, hair for several of my bridesmaids as well as our flower girl. She does just beautiful work! What amazes me is that you can give her little pieces of your vision and then she pulls it all together and creates something artistic, unique and even better than you had imagined! She is also so calm and thoughtful and that really helped me to remain calm during the morning of our wedding. I cannot recommend her more highly!
Heidi was amazing and coordinated for herself and a helper to do hair for my wedding on 12/16 for myself and 11 bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids and flower girls in our hotel suite and we were even ahead of schedule! She also brought Miranda for makeup for most as well. Everyone looked amazing! Very good and unique artist!
