1757 Golf Club

We had our Feb 2024 wedding at 1757 Golf Club, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We first picked the venue because of its all-inclusive nature - and that truly ended up being SUCH a huge value. The venue included linens, food, alcohol, and even decor set-up and break-down. The food was excellent, and while we did upgrade our alcohol package from the base included offering, it was a pretty reasonable add for a pretty great value. We definitely went the DIY route for our decor and I was worried that my vision was a bit too complicated or that would be issues with the execution because there were too many elements, but I never should have worried - the centerpieces and all the accessory tables (including entryway decor, gift tables, memorial tables, etc etc) were set up perfectly by the team, and everything looked exactly how I had hoped it would! Tori was our primary coordinator who we worked with throughout the process. She was a relatively new hire when we first started together so there were a couple of minor hiccups, mostly in communication, at the start as she learned the ropes (and frankly as we did too) - but these smoothed out pretty quickly. Tori was not only professional but kind, positive and just such a joy to work with. She took my numerous emails with endless questions in stride, and even shared her cell phone closer to the wedding date -and then took all of my texts and calls as an anxious type-A bride in stride as well! Jasmine, her director, worked with us on our actual wedding day when Tori couldn't make it last-minute, and she was also excellent - we honestly weren't even worried about the last minute change because both ladies had been so professional and so great to work with leading up to that point, and we didn't even notice a difference because they made sure to handle the transition seamlessly so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. The only thing that I can note as a 'criticism' (if you can call it that) was that the dinner service was a bit slow - we were at the upper limit of the venue's guest count (about 190 guests, where the venue max is 200) and I don't think they have many events of that size, so I suspect they may just not have had enough servers for the number of guests which resulted in dinner moving a bit slower than we had planned. But with everything else going so wonderfully, I wasn't too bothered by this minor difference in timeline. We couldn't be happier with our choice to have our wedding at 1757 Golf Club, and would absolutely choose them all over again!

We came on a little unluckily just as Myoung was leaving this venue and we unfortunately needed to wait while 1757 Golf Club hired a new coordinator. However, we started speaking to Jasmine in the fall. She was wonderful! Professional, accommodating - just great. Jasmine and Tori ended up handling our wedding together. And then as the day got closer, we worked with Tori. She was our contact for the day off - and she was truly incredible. Friendly, compassionate, professional. Her attention to detail was phenomenal. She helped us work around dietary restrictions, timing, and look and feel. She made sure there was a steamer onsite for my veil/dress. She responded to each and every one of my needs. Afterward, she even packed up all of the centerpieces and neatly left them so I could come and collect. In general, 1757 Golf Club was a wonderful place to get married. It worked very well for us to have this sort of One Stop Shop. They provided coordination and planning meetings, all of the seating both for ceremony and food, the linens, the service, etc. Having drinks and food included was a game-changer. We picked out the food way ahead of time and Jasmine/Tori worked with us on customizing the flow of all of that. On the day, I was really, really happy with the quality. Everything was just delicious! And I've heard great things from guests as well. If I had it to do again, I would definitely pick this venue. Highly recommended. They will take great care of you!

We loved 1757 because it was one stop shopping. They have all the linen colors you could ever want, they provide a day-of coordinator, it’s a large space with indoor and outdoor options, and their restaurant has great food which caters for the wedding. The hiccups: our day-of coordinator quit working for 1757 6 weeks prior to our wedding - she told us 2 weeks prior to her last day so we had 8 weeks notice. These things happen; however, we got to 4 weeks out from the wedding and no one from 1757 had contacted me so I emailed them. They told me someone would contact me within one week - one week later I emailed them and they told me to wait one more week. At this point we were headed to our bachelor/bachelorette parties and I was freaking out and told them I had to have a meeting ASAP. They did accommodate but it was off putting because of the lack of communication. We liked the new coordinator but it felt as though we had to think of every question possible because she was so new and didn’t know how everything worked. For example, I had to ask for every meeting we had, and in our final meeting I asked if she needed our signature drinks ahead of time and she told me she did, and then emailed me back after our phone call to say she needed the menu ASAP as they were placing the bar order that afternoon. If I hadn’t asked would we just not have had signature drinks? The other REALLY big hiccup is that there was virtually no AC the day of the wedding in the ceremony/reception space. Earlier in the day I heard them speaking to a maintenance man about their options for solutions, but no one told us about the situation and when we walked into the room and asked for them to turn up the AC, they just said “it’s coming!” It was so incredibly hot and I was really upset that they didn’t have any fans to bring in or a backup option to cool people down. It greatly effected the wedding because people were actually going outside on a 90 degree day in July to try to cool down. They then realized the restaurant had AC so some went in there. We weren’t able to have everyone in one place to see everyone and have our dance floor full like we would have wanted to - let alone the fact that my hair had fallen out after being in there for 30 minutes for the ceremony and was a wreck by the time dinner was over. Everyone was commenting on how hot it was and it really distracted from the wedding. I gave them a hit on professionalism for this because again, no one communicated anything with us. I’m going to be honest, I feel like we should have received money back because the facility was not in proper working order, but their method of dealing with it was to not address it like we wouldn’t notice it. I believe people could have a wonderful wedding here, but we were pretty upset with the problems from ours and the lack of communication or attempt to make it right.
