We got married at 1841 Farms & Vineyards (The Landing) and want to do it all over again! The best day. The grounds are absolutely stunning. From our drive up, to entering the venue, we knew immediately this was it.
Our day-of-coordinator Erica was incredible. We are so grateful for her communication, attention to detail, and hard work throughout the planning process, and we truly consider her a friend. If you are considering doing the whole trunk package, I highly recommend. It took a huge stress off of us to know that we had someone to help with the timeline, making sure everything ran smoothly the day of, set up/tear down of decor, and the Photo Booth (guests loved this).
We love it there, and can’t wait to find excuses to visit in the future! We couldn’t have imagined a better place.

Nestled in a vineyard, The Landing 1841 is a location in Burlington, WI, where grand elegance meets modern rustic. This venue is available for weddings as well as private events, weekday events, and conferences.
Breathtaking panoramic river views set the stage for a large and uniquely laid out grey-white washed barn. Rustic beams, grand chandeliers, a built-in bar area, and several French doors opening onto a large deck area overlooking the lawn and White River views are just a few of the features this venue has to offer. Invite up to 200 loved ones to witness this special day. A get-ready suite is also available at the property, wherein you and your wedding party can retreat to prepare or unwind. With heating and cooling all year round, you can be assured that your guests will be comfortable no matter when you choose to wed. When all is said and done, celebrations can continue on the large deck area, which is also ideal for a cocktail party. The venue is surrounded by accommodations in the resort town of Lake Geneva, and so you may choose the one that suits you best.
The staff at Landing 1841 takes great care to ensure your event is seamless as it is successful. Aligned as such, they can assist you in setup and cleanup. Glassware, tables, and French cross-back chairs can also be provided for the occasion. Manned by an experienced bartender, the bar can be operated as an open, cash, or limited bar. Internet runs throughout the property, and it is also reduced mobility friendly

venue team is also amazing! The moment we stepped onto the property, we were in awe of its breathtaking beauty. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the venue is surrounded by lush woods and vines, historical architecture, and stunning views that provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. Whether it was the charming outdoor space, where we held our ceremony, or the spacious and elegantly decorated reception hall, every corner of the venue had a touch of magic that made our special day even more enchanting.
One of the things that stood out to us the most was the attention to detail in the design of the venue. From the perfectly manicured lawns to the tasteful lighting that set a romantic mood as the sun began to set, everything was thoughtfully curated to enhance the beauty of our day. The indoor space was equally impressive, with high ceilings, beautiful lighting, and large windows that allowed the natural light to pour in, creating a dreamy ambiance that made our reception feel both luxurious and intimate. PS: (GOLDEN HOUR PHOTOS! Enough said.)
But beyond the physical beauty of the venue, what truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional customer service. From our initial meeting with the venue coordinator to the final moments of our wedding morning, we felt completely taken care of. The staff at 1841 went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our day ran smoothly. They were attentive, professional, and incredibly accommodating to all of our requests, no matter how big or small.
Throughout the planning process, the team was always available to answer our questions, provide recommendations, and help us navigate any challenges that arose (minimal!). Their expertise and experience were invaluable, and their calming presence helped ease any pre-wedding jitters we had. On the day of the wedding, the staff worked seamlessly behind the scenes to ensure that everything was perfect. We didn’t have to worry about a thing—allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy and celebration of the day. PS: (get the whole trunk coordinator package!)
Our guests were equally impressed with the venue and service. Many of them commented on how beautiful the space was and how smoothly everything ran. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour and the reception, each part of the day flowed effortlessly, thanks to the impeccable coordination by the staff. It was clear that the team takes great pride in what they do, and their passion for creating memorable experiences for couples was evident in every interaction.
In summary, just book here. Don’t even think twice. It’s the perfect choice. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be and more, and we owe so much of that to the incredible team and stunning venue. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to begin our forever. the rustic barn as our venue and couldn’t have been happier, both venues are absolutely stunning but I happy we went with our choice at the rustic barn. Molly our coordinator was fantastic she set up all wedding decor made sure my wife’s day went the way it should, we couldn’t have done it with our her. Wanted to say thank you as a whole to the entire venue for letting us have the night to ourselves and also to everyone you made everything so easy for us! every question we had in a very timely manner, and offered a ton of help and recommendations along the way. The day of our wedding went so smooth, and in the best way possible, I don't recall ever talking with the staff because everything they did was so well done, I had no need to. They handled every single thing and made sure our day was as perfect as possible. Everyone knew exactly where they needed to be, and when, and we couldn't have done that without all of their help. Anna and Molly were so helpful leading up to our wedding, meeting with us and going over all of the details, and making sure our vision was brought to life day of. With a two year engagement, I thought of a million questions and changed my mind a few times, but they were so supportive along the way through it all. They truly care about their couples and want to make sure they have the best day. Not to mention, the venue is absolutely beautiful, and so well taken care of. Having a space for the entire wedding party to get ready was a huge plus and made the entire day feel so much more special being on site for it all. We had so many compliments about the venue and how effortless the entire day seemed thanks to the entire staff. We couldn't have picked a better venue to get married.

I felt like I was talking in circles all of the time. The day of, the employee I was provided wasn't given all of the details it seemed. All of the emoyees were extremely kind and helpful, it just seemed like there was also a communication jumble. If I did this again, I would hire a wedding coordinator because the employees truly did not do anything for the wedding itself. But also, the bar staff was amazing!

ted. We ended up changing out mind and having the dance floor be in the same room as the reception. We only had about 115 people so there was enough space and I am very happy we did that. The only issue I had (not with the venue itself) but was with the communication. There were multiple emails and multiple people sending information so it wasn't clear who I was supposed to email with questions and such.
Definitely recommend, there are plenty of places to take some amazing pictures as well.

s packed! We had 145 people at our wedding and it was the perfect amount. Everyone fit in the dining room comfortably and having the dance floor separate was a saving grace! People could party the night away or have a quieter conversation in the dining room.
We choose to get the whole trunk package and I am SO THANKFUL we did! Stephanie set up all of our decorations and organized all of the vendors so that no one else had to deal with it that day! I got to walk into my reception and see everything for the first time and it was exactly as I wanted!
We had the most amazing day and would choose this place to get married in every time!

ot only is the property absolutely beautiful, the staff is just amazing. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day because they took care of it all. We put all the decor in their hands and it truly was beyond what I even imagined. The staff, and Morgan specifically, are fantastic, responsive and flexible. When I needed last minute adjustments to music, groom prep area and decor, they were there to help. We also decided on a weekday, ceremony only option and they were very helpful in making this happen for us. Overall, the Landing 1841 is amazing, helpful and beautiful, and I cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else. 100% recommend to anyone who wants to have the wedding of their dreams!

This venue has an indoor or outdoor ceremony area, the most gorgeous reception room, a bridal suite to get ready the day of, it sits on 50 acres of beautiful land, and has the BEST staff a soon to be married couple could ever ask for! Morgan was my day of coordinator and event manager; she is extremely professional while also being so warm and personable. She kept me on track at all times and has the most calming demeanor that keeps a bride sane! Wisconsin. The team at the Landing was professional, quick and caring upon first communication. We had always wanted a rustic chic wedding in a barn with beautiful chandeliers and the Landing provided us exactly that! We were able to book our wedding 5 months out and they worked with us every step of the way given the many adjustments to vendors and attendees that Covid required us to make. Through it all though, they continued to remind us of our love for each other and why we were getting married. Morgan was organized and kind going above and beyond with many of the questions and requests we had. Courtney was exceptional, offering great support at our rehearsal and the night of our wedding. The venue is beautiful and we recommend it highly for any occasion.

We only toured here and booked immediately after without considering any other options. Morgan, Courtney & Renee are TOP NOTCH. Our guests were always taken care of, our entire wedding party was brought appetizers, and my husband and I were escorted around the grounds for our private photos while always making sure we had a drink in our hand. Morgan, Renee and Courtney were always there for any questions we had or anything we needed along the way. We invested in the day before set up, tear down service, and day of coordination- I highly recommend investing in all 3 as it ensured our day went smoothly, decor was perfectly set and maximized the time we got to spend enjoying our day. Our guests have not stopped telling us how much fun and how beautiful our wedding was. We are so in love with and so happy with our choice to be married at The Landing 1841.

he year 2020)! The minute we toured The Landing (back in 2018), we knew it was the venue for us. The staff was so inviting, the buildings had so much history, and the property was just breathtaking. We picked our date, and off we went, searching for the rest of our vendors for our day. Luckily, we didn't have to search far in wide, because The Landing's website had a list of every highly-recommended vendor we could ever think of to make our day special. We found our photographer and caterer off their website, and were just as pleased with these choices as with our choice of venue! We thought we were sitting all good until the pandemic hit and our plans were thrown for a loop. Luckily, we had Morgan and Renee at our sides every step of the way, working hard to make sure we could still pull off a wedding day that would be one to remember. We ended up cutting our numbers to 1/4 of what we initially wanted (just for our own safety and peace of mind), and Morgan and Renee worked with us to make sure that we still got enough bang for our buck for our significantly smaller wedding day. Finally, after planning and replanning, we made it to the wedding day and everything turned out better than we could have ever imagined. The staff was fantastic: Courtney tooled us around on a golf cart all evening for pictures. The venue had plenty of space for everyone to spread out: from the porch to the river bank, to the vineyard, our guests were able to move comfortably and safely to their hearts' content. The service was truly unmatched: at the end of the night, we were all packed up and ready to go well before our check-out time thanks to the many hands offered by The Landing staff. What a lovely place, staff, and day it was. All the stress and changes ended up turning into the most beautiful day of our lives, and we can't wait to come back and visit The Landing someday for their wine or pizza nights to reminisce about our day at the perfect venue!

What we especially loved about the venue from the beginning was that there was a space to have a beautiful indoor ceremony in case of bad weather. And the small barn came in handy on our cold and rainy fall wedding day. We cannot imagine our wedding day any differently because everything went off seamlessly at the venue. If you’re debating adding on the coordinating package, you should 100% do it! Morgan was amazing at creating our timeline, communicating with our vendors, and coordinating the day of. We cannot imagine what we would have done without her and had complete ease of mind with her there.

ey was our saving grace as our wedding coordinator, with the decorating, planning, and getting all the vendors in order. We couldn’t of done it without her and the entire landing staff! Our day was absolutely beautiful! Having it right on the river makes for amazing photographs and the barn is the perfect place for a party! I wish I could give more than five stars!

day perfect. Even when our ceremony site flooded the day before our wedding, Courtney called us, and we were able to be come in and look up back up plans. She showed us several and told me to sleep on it and let her know in the morning. The next day I told her where, and they set up both our new ceremony site and all our decorations for outside and inside. They were fast and efficient and everything turned out beautifully. The saddest part about not being a bride anymore is not being able to work with this wonderful ladies anymore. I truly will miss them! share such a majestic place and time with as many family and friends as possible. And we’re glad we did, because the venue staff made sure everything was 100% exceptional. A special thanks to Courtney for being the best coordinator imaginable. She took every bit of stress out of our big day, allowing us to experience only wonderful, memorable moments. nd express! The Landing 1841 completely blew me away. Morgan was outstanding. I'm telling you OUTSTANDING. She was extremely attentive and always there for you. She has this amazing way about her that just puts you at ease. EVERY single interaction was a positive one. I honestly felt like I was partnering with a family member whenever I worked with her. Some people love what they do and it's evident. She is the definition of something who loves what she does. She embodies this positive energy that I swear is contagious and that positivity trickled it's way into our wedding day. Besides the venue being extremely lovely and romantic- for me the biggest take away was the people I worked with. From Morgan, to Renee, to Sammi- everyone was just outstanding.
Let's talk day of! Unless you have been married before I feel like no one can prepare you for the craziness of the day of your wedding. It's a whirlwind. I can not tell you how thankful I was for Courtney the day of. She was literally this saving grace that was just there to make the day go smooth. She treated me with such kindness that even reflecting back on it I just can't imagine the day without her. She was there to literally make sure everything was going as planned and there to squash all stress. She was at least 3-5 steps ahead of me at all times. Thinking of things before I could. On top of every single thing. It literally blew my mind.
The Landing is a beautiful, one of a kind venue. The grounds are breathtaking and your guests will be in awe. But for me- the service is my biggest take away. Every penny I spent was worth it. I can't say enough good things.

the couples that they book there, they were always there for every question or idea I had. The staff has running events down to a T. Everything is so organized that it makes the day so seamless. We had our ceremony outside on the property and the staff assisted everyone with knowing where to go and what to do. The property is beautiful with endless indoor/outdoor spots for photos. We have enjoyed attending two of their resale events where they have couples come to sell their wedding decor and the have vendor giveaways. I would pick the landing all over again, and I need to find and excuse to go visit in the future :)

added bonus. There is plenty of room and it is so convenient to have. The contract does state that the house will be locked for the reception; however, you don’t realize just how difficult it is to get all of the things out that you and your girls will need the whole night. They require you to move everything to a foyer area in the house. I think it would be an awesome idea to have someone be able to sign a key out. The house can be completely locked (there is a separate door leading into the house from the foyer), but give someone a key to the foyer for emergencies. Working in the service industry I understand the importance of carding everyone before serving alcohol, but the entire wedding party got carded and nobody had their ID’s on them. It was then a fight to allow us into the foyer for them. An even better idea would be a staff member to check the wedding party ID’s at rehearsal or when the bartenders get there to set up day of to avoid this all together.
We were told they have an awning for the porch area that we’d just have to tell them prior to the event if we want out or not. We said yes just to be safe because it still wouldn’t take away from the view or beauty of the deck, but were then told it would be $500 to set it up since we were the first ones to use it this year. $500 for awning set up definitely was not worth it to us, but I wonder how it works with other events after the awning has been “set up” once.
The venue will also tell you about all of their plans/future projects to sell you; they told us grooms quarters for the men to get ready in and the separate ceremony chapel. We scheduled a meeting/walk through a month out from our wedding date, and that was the day they told us nothing would be completed. I felt completely blind sided because it seemed like they wouldn’t have mentioned any of this until our final walk through that they schedule a week out. At our final walk through they ended up telling us the chapel would be ready but just the inside, there wouldn’t be any landscaping around it or outside building work done. We did rehearsal in the chapel and I sunk ankle deep in mud right outside the French doors to walk in. It was not worth people getting hurt or ruining shoes/dresses.
With all that said, our wedding turned out beautifully, but I think it is extremely important to read all the fine print and get everything they tell you in writing because their word is not good enough.

accept responsibility for the disappointment in the process of the projects, and worked extra hard to get the chapel completed in time for use.
In response to the issues, it is written in our policies that personal items be moved to a back room. We do allow items to then be collected at the end of the night instead of the inconvenience of moving them to vehicles before the start of the event. We do keep the house open for 1 hour after the start of the event so the bridal party can retrieve items they do not want to carry to the ceremony and freshen up if needed, which is also in our policies and sent out in reminder email prior to the event. We do not wish to provide a key as it may easily go missing, causing the replacement of a lock, nor do we want to be responsible should something of value left in there go missing as well. We do ID the bridal party members who may appear under 21 in accordance with Wisconsin state laws. This is also sent out in the reminder email. Once again bridal party members may access the house for an hour after the event if needed. We do offer a canopy and light package at an additional cost. This cost was communicated in a follow up email after a meeting with the couple. It is generally put up and taken down for each event as high winds can damage the canopy if left up on a regular basis. As far as the projects mentioned it did become apparent at a walk through 3 months prior to their event that we were having to revisit the completion of these projects due to unforeseen delays, mostly due to snow and not being able to have large projects going on during our peak seasons. After sitting down and discussing the issues we felt good about the outcome and worked to get the chapel done with their event date as our deadline. In less than 2 months, with the help of contractors we did not plan on bringing in, we completed the building for use. Unfortunately, there was not enough time for the fine details and newly planted grass had not grow in. To avoid similar situations moving forward, any projects will not be offered as an option until they are 100% complete.
