This experience was absolutely horrendous! We booked through AirBnb for our wedding. Initially the owner Alyce was polite and nice, until we had an issue. Then she turns into a rude, unprofessional woman. We had major issues with the cleanliness of their property, you could tell it hadn’t been clean when we arrived so we inquired. They also hadn’t setup enough chairs for our event. When we called Alyce immediately with our complaints she immediately began verbally attacking me on the phone, to the point my husband took the phone from me. No one deserves to be treated the way this horrendous woman treats people, and if you disagree or have any complaints during your stay prepare to be defamed online. She made up an entire post, stating I was the most difficult and a “bridezilla” for complaining we had blood stains on our sheets and food stuck on the walls in addition to trash in the master. We also had issues with the toilets being clean (they weren’t, and were covered in urine and feces). This woman posted a review stating that we bothered her our entire stay with complaints, but as you can see in our texts; and my phone log this woman is a liar. Then goes on to state that she apologized profusely!? Also a lie! You never apologized; Alyce we all know this, including you. With regard to you offering us a full refund, what an absolute joke! We had our wedding scheduled on this property otherwise we would have left in ten seconds after speaking to you on the phone. I can’t change my wedding location two days before, so you making an offer you knew we couldn’t except isn’t trying to fix anything. It’s you not taking accountability for the mess you have as a home for rent. She went as far to degrade her own property stating “what did you expect, a five star hotel?” No, we didn’t Alyce; but Motel 6 is cleaner than your home. Please watch how she responds to the brides and guests that leave negative reviews because this is truly who this woman is. Anymore lies you’d like to add Alyce? Absolutely pathetic individual, especially at your age. I feel sorry for you.

We loved this space for a small wedding. They were very helpful and it was a beautiful location; our pictures are amazing.

Bride’s worst nightmare! I was the maid of honor for a wedding that took place here for my friend. 1c barn was unprofessional, unresponsive and disorganized. This venue is a beautiful space, no doubt about that. However, absolutely nothing is included besides the venue itself. Even toilet paper is restricted. You are only allotted 2 garbage cans in the garage, any other garbage bags are $25 per bag, which is difficult to do after a wedding. The two owners were very avoidant of addressing any issues. They would ignore my friend’s numerous phone calls and emails. One time I called instead and they answered on the first call. They even texted my friend the day of her wedding regarding clean up. They have been rude on the phone as well. If you read their responses to other’s reviews this will show you first hand on their unprofessionalism. Response to 1CBarn comment from my Google Review: I have no idea who Sydney is. She sounds like another bride who had a poor experience with 1CBarn.

1CBarn made my dream wedding come true. Owners of the venue were very nice and even allowed me to borrow some of their props and table runners for my big day. The location was perfect and our photos turned out spectacular thanks to our amazing photographer! Over all more than satisfied with our stay and this venue!
