Hands down one of the best vendors I worked with. Chrystal was very responsive each time I reached out and was very easy to work with. I gave her a general color scheme with florals I'd like to have for my wedding day and she absolutely nailed it. I got so many compliments on our florals and she worked well with our budget. 11/10 would highly recommend.
Hands down, one of the first comments I hear about our wedding is always about the flowers, and rightly so. Chrystal was such a dream to work with — a great listener, flexible, and just as excited about the florals as I was.
I provided a Pinterest board with inspiration for how I wanted the chuppah, bouquet, centerpieces, and aisle flowers to look, and the finished product turned out better than I could have imagined. Chrystal went above and beyond — she turned my dream vision into a reality.
We rescheduled the wedding because of COVID, so some flowers from the original plan were no longer in season. That didn’t stop Chrystal, she had peonies flown in from Brazil so that I could still have the same look from our original plan!

What a gem! Seriously from the moment I emailed Chrystal was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was super flexible, was able to accomodate on a tight timeline and budget and so very nice. She executed my Pinterest vision in a way that exceeded all my expectations. She was also so helpful with providing advice in a thoughtful manner and not just in a way that would make her more money, which was very much appreciated. Chrystal is a dream to work with as a florist. She is inexpensive, but doesn’t sacrifice in quality. She worked with us on a very tight and concise budget, but delivered in the upmost of ways on the day of our wedding. Leading up to the wedding Chrystal was incredibly flexible with multiple e-mail exchanges and communication, as well as allowing us to meet her in person to go over finer details and share our vision with her. On the day of, she was punctual and worked incredibly fast on a tight timeline and helped us immensely in dressing up our occasion. Chrystal loves what she does and it is apparent in her work ethic and her passion exudes from the product she is able to deliver. You can plan and plan all you want when it comes to a wedding, but execution is key, and Chrystal absolutely excels in making your vision a reality. In an industry where it is difficult to find quality at the perfect and right price, Chrystal stands out. I am a musician, and have gigged my share of weddings, so I’ve had experience in working with and seeing other photographers, and without a doubt Chrystal is by far one of the best out there. Book her, you won’t be disappointed, my bride and I certainly weren’t!
My flowers for the my wedding were above and beyond what I had expected! Working from across the country I could only pick my flowers from pictures and what they did from the pictures that I sent was amazing!! They setup everything on the day of the wedding in record time and without any issues.
We found Chrystal with referral from our coordinator (2 Friends Events- who are also wonderful)....and she was great! I wasn’t looking to spend too much on flowers and Chrytsal was very flexible and worked within my budget to make a plan that fit with my vision. I visited her workroom at her home and got a vague idea of what things would look like the day of; she was very flexible scheduling the visit and offered the “mock-up” centerpieces at half price, which I took home and used as a centerpiece for my bridal shower. While the flowers in her studio were beautiful, I had no idea that would be so STUNNING in person. In all of my pictures, the flowers (colors, shapes, etc.) really stand out in a beautiful way. I gave her very little direction for the arrangements and was very happy with how everything looked. The cake flowers, the swag for our alta (which I ordered about a week before the wedding….and she had no issue putting together), the bridesmaid bouquets, my bouquet, etc.
No issues with the delivery or set up. Everyone had their bouquet and boutonniere. It was all perfect!

Chrystal is incredible!!! Our wedding flowers were above and beyond what I could have expected. I had a general idea of what look I wanted, but beyond that knew nothing about flowers or what would look good. Chrystal took what little I provided her with and produced the perfect floral arrangements. She was always very communicative and willing to answer my many questions. I highly recommend her!
Erin was my day planner for my wedding this past Saturday. From the day we met until the very end, she was extremely professional, fun, kind and helpful. She perfectly executed the aesthetic we were trying to achieve - and most importantly, she made sure that my husband I ate! haha She was so helpful and kind. Chrystal is the BEST!! If I learned one thing while planning my wedding, it is how important timely communication is to a bride. Chrystal always got back to me quickly with answers to questions. I sent her a pictures from Pinterest of what my vision was and she NAILED IT. We recently got our pictures back from our photographers and I am still blown away at how full the bouquets were and how spot on she was with the colors. Don't even waste your time getting quotes from anyone else. I promise your wedding won't be perfect, but your flowers will be!
If you want great communication AND great flowers -- Chrystal is the best choice.
I planned my wedding from across the country and had to send a million emails - Chrystal responded to each one, gave me great feedback, and even helped suggest venues for my rehearsal dinner. Chrystal went above and beyond the call of duty and created an amazing array of flowers. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous.

I worked closely with Nichole to find my wedding venue and then Amy McKinney as my month/day-of coordinator. Both women are absolutely amazing, incredibly kind/sweet/friendly and have this amazing ability to calm you down by the end of every conversation. Every conversation ended with me feeling reassured and grateful I hired 2 Friends Events.
Nichole was wonderful about exploring different venue options and presenting all the potential challenges. Thanks to her expertise, she was able to find places in my price range that I wouldn't have been able to find on my own.
Amy was also a dream to work with. She was so patient with me and I couldn't have executed my wedding successfully without her. She's so helpful and it's very obvious that she's doing what she loves - It comes through in her work! She sees potential pitfalls and jumps in before you even realize what chaos may have ensued had she not jumped in. I am so, so grateful for having her on my wedding team.
I will end by saying that when you hire 2 Friends Events, you get more than just a hard-working wedding team and future friendships, you also get ladies who will advocate for you. During the wedding, I had a vendor whose performance was unsatisfactory. Amy not only did her own job, but also jumped in where the other vendor was falling. She made sure my wedding went smoothly but also made sure I knew what happened. After the wedding, both Amy and Nichole supported and advocated for me to approach the vendor and resolve the matter to my satisfaction. My voice was much stronger having the support of a reputable wedding company on my side.
I can't thank 2 Friends enough from beginning to end and even after the wedding for everything they've done to help bring my wedding vision to life. I could write a 5-paragraph essay (hah! I think I already did that!) about why I assure you that you will get more than your money's worth if you hire 2 Friends Events, but instead I'll just say this: you won't regret it - I promise!
Chrystal did our wedding flowers and I cannot say enough positive things about her work. We told her our vision during our consolation and when I walked down the aisle and saw my flowers I was absolutely stunned. She brought my vision to life even better than I could have imagined it! Chrystal was extremely professional, quick to respond to emails and extremely accommodating of additions or changes. The flowers were fresh and her attention to detail really showed in their arrangement and composition. Additionally, we had a very large wedding party and a budget to maintain and Chrystal was so pleasant and creative in helping us reach our desired look while working with our budget. please do not hesitate to meet with this exceptional florist! :)

We are so happy that we chose 2 Friends Events!! Chrystal did an amazing job on all the flowers. She more than exceeded our expectations. The center pieces at the wedding were better than what I had pictured in my head and my bouquet was absolutely gorgeous!! Chrystal was very flexible and the pricing for everything was very reasonable. She was very responsive to emails and phone calls. I would highly recommend 2 Friends Events. We couldn't be any happier with our choice!!
Saskia was sooooo helpful with many pre-wedding checklists, check-in calls and then when it came to "day of" (which was more like "week of", I just sat back, relaxed and let her and her staff take care of everything. People commented on how calm I was. That's because I was able to stay present and simply ENJOY because I knew Saskia was all over every detail. Thank you Saskia and 2 Friends!
Hiring 2FriendsEvents was by far the best wedding planning decision my fiancé and I made throughout the planning process. From the point of first contact, throughout every step, and even AFTER the wedding, Jamie was there for us, providing reliable, consistent, dedicated, knowledgable, and professional assistance. Every phone call, email, and text that I sent to Jamie was quickly replied to, and she made sure to always address every single one of my questions and concerns. This is absolutely not the level of service that you will get elsewhere. 2FriendsEvents go above and beyond for their clients.
Our experience with our venue's coordinator was not as positive. Not only was our venue's coordinator extremely flakey and difficult to get ahold of leading up to the wedding date, she ended up completely dropping the ball regarding almost every detail of our wedding after working with her for over a year, which was totally heartbreaking...However, thank God, Jamie from 2FriendsEvents was there to deal with this debacle. From day one, Jamie took over the tiresome job of contacting and working with the venue's coordinator before the wedding, and on the day of she shielded me from the chaos and somehow kept the event flowing despite the venue's ineptitude. To my fiancé and my surprise, Jamie even went above and beyond her duties by advocating for us to the venue for the return of our money.
Not only was Jamie wonderful to work with professionally, she has the personality of someone you would love to have as one of your closest friends. I cannot recommend Jamie enough, she is literally the only reason our big day wasn't a complete disaster.
My husband and I worked with Saskia Winter as our day of coordinator for our wedding in Berkeley, CA. We live in Washington, DC and were only in the Bay Area a few times throughout the process, but each time we spoke or met with Saskia, we knew we were in excellent hands. Starting from our inchoate ideas and laissez-faire attitude, she guided us through planning a personal and intentional celebration of our vows, our friends and our family.
Planning a wedding is so extraordinary that it makes sense to bring in professional help. While there was a fair amount of learning on the job and acquiring new planning and relationship skills, it was such a reassurance to know we had an expert to oversee everything and make sure things were a success. Saskia helped us brainstorm ideas, think through various aspects of the ceremony and reception we wouldn't have thought of, arranged a design consultation when it became clear we needed more direction, and kept us on track.
On the day of our wedding, Saskia and her colleagues Carolyn and Melissa ensured that everything went perfectly. They took care of all the little details, including picking up last minute decorations, set up both our ceremony and reception venues, coordinated all the logistics, and kept everything on schedule. Afterwards, they packed everything up for us and left a beautiful assortment of flowers along with our cards in our room, which was a lovely surprise later in the evening!
Saskia is warm, energetic, friendly, and professional. We loved working with her and can't recommend her and her team highly enough!
I can't even begin to describe how great it was to have Jamie from 2FE for month of services. In reality, 2FE began our "month of" services much earlier one month before the wedding. I reached out to them 6 months before my date and they immediately responded. Right away, 2FE took a thorough assessment of my expectations, shared planning resources and helped me find a DJ. As we approached the wedding, Jamie organized meetings with my site/vendors and helped me by asking questions and organizing details and rentals I would have never thought of on my own. On the day of the wedding, I was able to relax and have fun because Jamie and Camilla were there to receive cake/flower drop offs, set up the tables beautifully, tell the groomsmen where to park, locate fathers for pictures, calm me down when I decided to imagine every possible scenario that might result in my tripping while walking down the aisle, and to make sure that me and my groom had something to eat waiting for us. Jamie even handled a wedding crasher situation with such speed and grace that no guests knew it occurred at all and I didn't have to miss a minute of our party to take care of it. A lot of the things that made our wedding great just wouldn't have happened without Jamie and 2FE. And if that weren't enough, 2FE is very well priced- their service, time and skill far exceeded their cost in my opinion. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
2Friends Events were so wonderful for our wedding in April 2016. We needed a last minute day of coordinator and Jaime came to our rescue. Honestly, our wedding day went off without any problem. I literally did not have to worry about a thing and it took a whole lot of pressure off my mom, my fiance, and myself. We could not have done it without Jaime and her assistant!
We had the pleasure of working with Nichole from 2 Friends Events as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding. Nichole, along with her assistant Mary, managed everything on the day of the wedding, setting up all the details for the ceremony and the reception and helping to clean up everything after each event. I was completely stress free because Nichole managed everything flawlessly. Throughout the day, she always checked in with me and my husband to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
Hiring 2 Friends Events for their month of wedding coordination package was one of the very best decisions I made throughout the wedding planning process. I had the pleasure of working with Sarah as my coordinator and she was BEYOND amazing! Not only was she super sweet and responsive, but she was extremely organized and put a control freak bride like me completely at ease. I seriously did not have a care in the world on our wedding day and everything turned out absolutely perfectly and exactly how I'd imagined. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I totally would!
We hired Sarah from 2Friends as our day of coordinator. She was wonderful. She navigated our requests, the vendors, our hosts and our guests perfectly. She even brought her dad to be our bartender! She was wonderful and made the entire event stress-free. Investing in 2Friends coordination was the best decision we made for our wedding!
It was the best decision to hire a day of coordinator and we were very pleased with 2 Friends Events. The whole team was personal and dependable. I greatly appreciated the amount of contact allowed leading up to the wedding. They answered plenty of calls, questions, and emails. Highly recommend using them!
The best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process was working with Nichole and 2FriendEvents. Nichole helped us with the planning and coordination on the wedding day. She is very kind, genuine, patient and so organized. Every phone call made me feel like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders and also gave me clarity as to what I needed to decide/do on my end. It really felt like I was planning our wedding with a caring friend. I never thought I would get overwhelmed planning my wedding because I thought I was laid back about it, but I did get overwhelmed, and a call with Nichole always lifted that away. Nichole is also very conscious that weddings can be a huge financial burden on a couple and she does so much to lessen that. For example, ensuring you stick to the budget, reminding you of upcoming vendor payments so that you can plan for it, and never making payments the first thing that you talk about. I could go on and on but instead I'm just going to say that I would highly recommend Nichole and 2FriendsEvents to any bride. You won't regret it :)
Nichole from 2 Friends Events did an amazing job day-of coordinating our backyard wedding of 160 people. She was so kind and easy to talk to about our plans, and was gave honest recommendations without being condescending or critical (like other planners we encountered). Throughout our venue and timeline meetings she made me feel relaxed and confident that coordination of our day was in good hands. She arranged to have a third person come to man the bar, at a price lower than local staffing agencies. Nichole and her team set up all the tables and several boxes of decorations beautifully. We also had about a million jars and vases of flowers, which she set up and scattered throughout the venue perfectly. The whole night every time my husband and I saw her she was busting around, working hard to make everything happen. She even sent someone to get more ice and water when we ran out, and brought a knife for the cake (which I had forgotten). I’m sure there are many other rescues she made that we weren’t even aware off. We highly recommend 2Friends Events; Nichole is amazing and you will not regret having her coordinate your day.
We could not have been more pleased with the assistance we received from Erin and the 2 Friends team! We were very, very late to hire a Day-Of coordinator for our 9/27/15 wedding... I am an event planner myself by day, and since I was so busy handling all the vendors and components myself, I overlooked the day-of needs until just days before! But the 2 Friends team were quick to reply to our request, and worked with us to ensure their services were tailored to our needs. Erin had a call with us on Friday to cover the basics, made time to stop by the next day to meet us, run a short ceremony rehearsal, and review all info and to-do lists in person. Then she hit the ground running Sunday morning on our wedding day, and handled every last detail smoothly and with a smile. She made sure we ate, helped our guests, liaised with our venue and vendors, and put me completely at ease with her expertise and great attitude. As an event person it's hard to 'let go' of your projects - especially your wedding! - but I did and Erin did not let me down. She even checked in with me during the following days to make sure all loose ends were tied up. We were SO grateful to Erin for her help, and could not recommend her and the 2 Friends team higher!
Hiring Saskia Winter and 2 Friends Events was the BEST decision I made while wedding planning. Saskia was organized, answered the phone whenever I called, had great ideas, and a clear vision of how a wedding should be smoothly run. The day of timeline ran seem-less between the ceremony and the reception. Saskia and her assistant Melissa handled everything from vendors to set up to making sure everything was packing in my parents car at the end of the night. I had so much fun working with Saskia and I highly recommend her and 2 Friends Events for a beautiful and easy wedding day.
I'm so happy that we hired 2 Friends Events for our wedding day of coordination! Kristen was our coordinator and she did a great job making the day run smooth, planning out how the space would get set up and how the timeline would look, and adjusting the timeline seamlessly in the moment as needed, so we were able to enjoy the party and relax and have fun instead of running around dealing with everything and being frazzled (which I have seen happen to the bride at weddings before.)
Kristen and her assistant set up the spaces just beautifully. We had two venues for ceremony and reception and everything was just gorgeous. I felt like I walked into an enchanted ball or something it was that jaw dropping. I really really hope the photographer got photos of it. Can't recommend them enough.
We also used 2 Friends for arranging transportation which worked out nicely.
We had such a wonderful experience working with Nichole and 2 Friends Events. From the beginning we had no idea where to start with the wedding planning process and we felt totally overwhelmed. So we interviewed a few wedding planners over the phone based on reviews from Yelp and The Knot and Nichole from 2 Friends Events was the one who we felt we really connected with.
We ended up choosing "The Complete Event" and Nichole was with us every step of the planning process. We think that communication is very important when working with a wedding planner and Nichole was always very responsive through phone, text, & email in addition to our many face to face meetings. It's so helpful to be able to text her for quick questions such as - 'when should we send out our save the dates?' or 'would these chairs look good for the reception?'. What we learned through the many months of planning is that many questions will come up frequently and randomly! So looking back we would agree that having someone there for you to quickly respond to those random questions helps tremendously.
If you have a strict wedding budget, Nichole will make sure to only show you options, designs, & vendors that will fit within your budget. At times she had to reel us in (which we are thankful for) because we tend to have expensive tastes! She helped us choose the perfect venue, negotiated all the contracts with our vendors, helped brainstorm our design ideas (& then implement them), & coordinated our wedding day perfectly.
The wedding we had was EXACTLY what we dreamed and imagined and went off without a hitch. The whole time Nichole was calm and cool but at the same time made sure all the events happened on schedule and we were at the places we needed to be at. We had a large wedding party with different personalities and every one of them said they enjoyed working with her. After the wedding was over we were sad to say goodbye because we were so used to talking to Nichole on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis. Theres so much more we could say about how excellent our experience was with 2 Friends Events and we would highly recommend Nichole for anyone out there needing some guidance in planning their perfect wedding!
I was very hesitant to hire a Wedding Coordinator. Since we were planning a pretty casual, backyard style wedding, I really couldn't see the need. My then-fiance met 2 Friends at Lovesick Wedding Expo, called me that night, and explained she had found a fantastic company and that was that. We met with Kristen about 4 months before the wedding, discussed our overall vision for the day and generally got a feel for each other. Our backyard (the planned event site) was under a tremendous amount of construction at the time, but we walked her through what the final space would look like. She came up with a few layout designs for us to choose from, sent the information to the rental company, and helped us repeatedly edit our order as we added and subtracted DIY projects. We later met with Nichole, who was utterly fantastic. She reassured us that we could call her anytime with any concerns or questions. She was also great at making sure that the wedding stayed "ours" and didn't turn in to a cookie-cutter day that could have been anyone's. She called periodically to check in and make sure we felt like everything was on track and took everything we threw at her without missing a beat. Despite our joint efforts at planning every little detail, of course there were some curve-balls the day of, as there always are. Nichole and Mary handled all of them while constantly exuded a sense of calm professionalism. We would both highly recommend them to any friends or family that were planning a wedding.
I can't even imagine our wedding without Lindsay and her team! They were amazing throughout the whole process. There were some issues during our reception that we didn't find out about until after our event due to Lindsay and her teams quick thinking. We are beyond thankful that they were a part of our special day.
Kristen did my design consult and did such a fantastic job! I am not a bride who really knows what she wants, so Kristen created the whole vision for me. She was really helpful and great to work with. My wedding is not until the end of November, and I cannot wait to see it all come together!

She made our wedding a stress free experience, given our confidence that she'd take care of everything and leave no detail unattended. The event went off without a hitch. We are incredibly grateful to her.
I thought that I would be able to coordinate a 150 person wedding by myself and hoo boy could I not have been more wrong about that haha. I am SO GRATEFUL that I contacted 2Friends. I ended up working with Nichole and she was wonderful. I found her to be a great resource, responsive, etc. We only had partial planning since I had done much of the upfront work already but I really thought she went above and beyond. I haven't been involved in many weddings but my bridesmaids had and they all made comments about how great she was to work with compared to other planners they or their friends had had so I guess I lucked out! A++++ :)
I would highly recommend 2 Friends Events to anybody looking for help with their wedding! We had Saskia as our day of coordinator and she went completely above and beyond. She was so sweet, gentle but also firm when needed, fun, organized, creative and supportive. Even my friend who was in the wedding swears she wants to hire Saskia when she gets married. Saskia was not only my day of coordinator, but my support person when I had any questions or concerns in the months leading up. She really took the time to address one of my main concerns and brainstorm ideas to manage the concern. She came the night before the rehearsal, where she was very organized and got the job done quickly and efficiently and I left feeling completely at ease. On top of the fact that she offered to help by taking home my unfinished project of thank you notes to be cut and tucked into folded napkins. Such dedication to making sure my day was PERFECT! I can't imagine the day without her there, she truly feels like a friend to me. Although I mostly worked with Saskia, the whole company was amazing, responsive and organized. I can't say enough good things about them. I didn't find their prices to be outrages, just average, but they are worth every cent!
2 Friends Events did a truly outstanding job helping us plan our wedding and providing day-of-coordination. Nichole worked with us through all of the wedding planning details and Jamie and her assistant provided day-of coordination for our wedding.
Nichole was great at breaking down the overwhelming task of planning a wedding into simple, manageable steps and she held our hand through the process. She did an excellent job listening to what we wanted for our wedding and helping us create the day we wanted, rather than imposing her own ideas and vision for the event. Nichole was very accessible - every time we called her she answered or called us back quickly, and her email responsiveness was also great. She did a great job keeping us on task so we covered major planning milestones as they came. Nichole is very organized and meticulous with details, and we felt that we could actually relax during our planning process knowing that Nichole would catch anything that we weren't thinking of. Nichole also has a great personality and is easy to communicate with. And every time we spoke with her, we felt less stressed about our wedding planning process, which was something we really appreciated.
For the day of coordination, Jamie and her assistant did an absolutely outstanding job making our wedding day run smoothly and seamlessly, all the while keeping a low profile. Jamie's excellent work on our wedding day really helped us to be fully present for our ceremony, our reception and the significance of our wedding day, without being distracted by all that needed to happen behind the scenes. She did an excellent job keeping track of the day's schedule and managing our vendors, while also allowing the day's events to unfold organically. Jamie and her assistant did an awesome job setting up our reception site and they did a fantastic job breaking everything down and helping us get packed and cleaned up so we weren't thinking about this on our wedding night.
We felt so deeply supported by Nichole and Jamie, and this allowed us to really enjoy our wedding day and be fully present to each other and all of the people who attended our event. They are truly committed to supporting couples in their wedding planning and day-of details in a way that allows you to truly enjoy this beautiful moment in your life. We felt that we got incredible value for what we paid for, and would happily recommend 2 Friends Events to friends, family and anyone reading this review.
Saskia and Coley were our Day-of-Coordinators and we couldn't have had better people to help us with our wedding. Saskia was very professional and organized and had skills to instantly come up with great ideas to make our wedding perfect and memorable. I had so much fun planning the wedding with her and our big day was beyond perfect. Saskia did a lot to help me make my dream wedding come true and I can't thank her enough for it! Saskia's assistant, Coley, was awesome too. I only met her on the wedding day, but she and Saskia took care of everything for me and made sure that things would go smoothly on my big day. I highly recommend asking for these two lovely ladies to be your wedding coordinators. You will be glad that you took my advice and made the right choice.
Lindsay rocks! Lindsay and her partner coordinated my sisters wedding a couple years ago. They did an amazing job! So we decided to hire them. And for my wedding, they did not disappoint! They were hired for day of services but they did so much more than that. On my wedding day, everything ran smoothly and if there was an issue, I had no clue because they took care of it. My family and I absolutely love Lindsay and we will be referring our friends her way. I couldn't have been happier. They made our day amazing.
We had the best experience with 2 Friends Events. I worked with Jamie and she was amazing. She was organized, prompt, professional, honest, an totally respected my vision. She made my day so easy and seamless and it was clear that she has done many weddings. Just trust her and let her do her job... Lindsay was my day of coordinator and WOW she exceeded my expectations by far. I can definitely say that this was the best decision I made for my wedding. 2 friends events is amazing absolutely amazing!!! We got married last October and we used them as our day of coordinator and also used their website to help budget for our wedding. Lindsay was a true lifesaver and seriously wouldn't have had such a beautiful wedding without their help! She was very professional (even when dealing with my pain in the butt groomsmen) and she made sure everything went to plan. If I can get 10 stars I would. Seriously best in town and honestly worth every penny!
We used them for the day of coordination only. I worked with Nicole who was great. When I couldn't find my wedding shoes she ran down to the store the day of and got 2 pair so I had a choice. She helped with the reception going to see the venue beforehand. She and her partner did a good job of having everything run smoothly at the church and reception. I did wonder about Nichol's choice of clothes on the day of which were a pair of bold floral shorts. If you work that out ahead of time everything should be fine.
Nicole was my day of coordinator and I am so glad I decided to have her there! She met with me a few times before the day to make sure I was on track and to get a grasp of my vision for the day. I had a completely DIY wedding and everything had to be brought in the day of. She was there early to orchestrate all the rentals and vendors. At a wedding it is inevitable that things will go wrong or be forgotten last minute and man oh man did we have some major hiccups the morning of the wedding. Nicole was there to save the day, she wasn't afraid to get dirty, and just make everything work last minute. She was great to work with and money well spent for sure. I would highly recommend her! She will help you enjoy your day from start to finish!
Nichole from 2 Friends Events literally made our wedding day the best day ever! I got married at Thomas Fogarty Winery in July and we literally couldn't of had a better experience on our wedding day all thanks to Nichole!
We hired her for the "day of" but she did so much more. We met with her months in advance to do a walk through of the venue. She set up a perfect floor plan and GIANT detailed timeline that was passed out to all our vendors. She also made rehearsal a breeze. She knew how to set up the bridesmaids and groomsmen perfectly. You can really tell she has lots of experience and is very professional.
The day of she was so on top of it! During formal pictures after the ceremony she brought us a tray of appetizers and drinks. Her assistant helped move all the decorations from the ceremony spot down this big hill to the reception. She also picked up thousands of flower petals off the lawn from the ceremony which seemed like a daunting job but they had no problem doing it!
The decor was set up perfectly-just like I asked. Lastly, they managed to herd 135 drunk people to line up for the sparkler send off. We literally couldn't of done it without 2 Friends Events! I would highly recommend 2 Friends Events to any future bride. The price is reasonable and they DO so much! Its definitely worth it- they made our day our "happily ever after!"
Traveling a lot for work and being new to the Bay Area, I knew I needed an amazing wedding coordinator to help plan our April wedding in Napa – and I got her in Nichole Simpson!
I found 2 Friends Events online, and loved the story of how these two friends started their business. I inquired and got an immediate response back from Nichole. When Scott and I met with Nichole, she had quickly assessed our style, what was important to us and how she could support us planning our wedding. There was no question that Scott and I knew that Nichole was the right woman for the job!
She is the consummate professional – organized, detail-oriented, and pleasantly persistent when I needed to get something done!
She was there for us in times of crisis – when my wedding invites arrived in the wrong packaging, she immediately jumped in, found options and then took the invites from me to fix them while Scott and I drove cross country moving me to California. I have very high expectations and Nichole exceeded them. On our wedding day, I didn’t worry about anything as I knew Nichole (and her assistant Mary) had everything covered. If anything did go wrong on our wedding day, I still don’t know to this day! I HIGHLY recommend Nichole and the 2 Friends Event team!!

PRE-WEDDING: I had Lindsay as my day of coordinator, and let me just say.. calling her a "day of coordinator" was far from what she actually did to help us! I met with her multiple times prior to the wedding day, she was always calming, reassuring, helped me IMMENSELY with the timeline, details, etc. etc. etc. I can't say enough how awesome she was at making sure everything went smoothly.
REHEARSAL: We had a rather big bridal party, and Lindsay was ready and whipped everyone into shape at the rehearsal! Not a minute was wasted, everyone knew where they were going to stand, what they were supposed to do, how they were supposed to walk, etc. etc. Literally.. every detail was taken care of. Even some of our bridal party commented how awesome Lindsay was!
WEDDING DAY: Lindsay had everything at the venue set and ready to go. She had all our vendor contracts, handled all last minute "fire drills," and made sure that I didnt have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day. She was the most awesome person to work with, and I wouldn't have picked anyone else to be there, helping me on my big day!

Nichole was our wedding coordinator (May 2014 wedding). She was amazing! We signed up for a package that included day-of coordination (with an assistant) plus access to her list of vendors with excellent discounts that she's negotiated plus unlimited advice/assistance over the phone and through email. This is not the "full package" because we were on a tight budget but it was the perfect amount of help and it was a great price! She started helping us choose vendors more than a year out and made our wedding day run completely smoothly. We did not have a single moment of stress the whole day and everything was just perfect! She recommended so many great ideas which made our wedding what it was -- the best day of our lives -- from the PERFECT venue to the Anniversary Dance to the advice NOT to do our own fresh floral centerpieces (we went with vases/potpourri and it looked amazing and was so much easier). We cannot recommend Nichole highly enough. Book her!
We had great experience working with Lindsay, and she comes highly recommend to any stressed-out bride.
I retained 2Friends Events (2FE) after interviewing about 20 other day-of coordinators. My main criterion were cost, level of experience, and day-of continuity, in case the coordinator couldn't turn up for some unforeseen reason. Although we signed up for the junior coordinator package, we ended up working with Lindsay since the junior coordinator ended up leaving her job.
Lindsay is a type-A personality and will assertively see through everything to make sure things will get done as needed. About a month before the wedding, she started by taking the lead on all vendor-related coordination, which freed me to pursue other wedding-related planning. She was also very responsive to the multitude of emails I've sent throughout the course of the month, and was very good at compiling all of my miscellaneous requests without missing a beat.
However, what really impressed me was her day-of execution, task handling, and unwavering resolve to get things done. Lindsay was 8 months pregnant but that did not deter her from making sure all details of my wedding were pitch-perfect. And even when we had a major catering-related fiasco when 1/3 of our guests were left without enough food (plus our guests were running off with cake before we even cut it), she still managed to shield us from hearing about this disaster as it unfolded, plied our hungry guests with drinks while they waited for their food and kept them happy, and handled the kitchen staff, all with utmost grace. She also helped us resolve the catering issues by counseling us and advocating for compensation, and really helped us retain our sanity during what became an unwanted and stressful time after the wedding.
If there's anyone you want on your side to fight for the things most important to you as the client and a bride, look no further. Lindsay handled our day-of fiasco as cool and collected as the situation allowed it to be, and it immensely speaks to her personal professionalism.
I had Lindsay on hand to do my day of coordination. She was beyond on top of it, and even brought her husband with her to check on the groom beforehand and make sure he is in good spirits!
Anyone who hasn't had experience planning weddings needs someone who knows what the heck they are doing at a stressful time like this - as someone without family or married friends in the area, I turned to Lindsay. And thank goodness I did - she knows exactly what she is doing - she knows what makes a wedding great, and can tailor it to what each couple is seeking.
I occasionally had trouble communicating with her over email, but we had multiple in-person meetings which were always wonderful and productive, and she was incredible on the day of. Plus she can help you stay on track if you are working with a more conservative budget. Highly recommend!

I could not say enough how much we loved our wedding planner Nichole.
She was so awesome to work with. Not only was she easy to get ahold of, she would check in on us regularly to make sure we were doing what we needed to. They were by far my favorite vendor at our wedding and I am extremely over the moon happy with how everything turned out. I would recommend getting the full package it is worth every penny. My husband and I were not looking forward to planning our wedding as we are both very busy with our jobs, this took all the pressure out of it and we had the ability to be as involved or not involved in whatever we wanted to be. My favorite thing about Nichole is she walked me thru everything and made me feel calm and stress free the entire time, she has the best personality and was so easy and wonderful to work with we laughed the entire time.

Hiring 2 Friends Events, and Lindsay, was the best wedding gift I could have given to myself. Lindsay was incredible and a true miracle worker! Our formal wedding turned out perfect and went off without a hitch (or at least it seemed that way to me and all our guests). Not only did I think that everything was perfect, but my parents were able to enjoy the day without any stress, and all of our guests commented that it was "perfect, flawless."
Lindsay was able to take my dream and make it a reality. She was always mindful of our budget and didn't pressure us to make any decisions that would have compromised that. I felt that she was honest with me, yet didn't try to change my mind or turn my vision into anything else. I am so so happy that we decided to hire 2 Friends Events for our "Day of Wedding Coordination". Originally I thought I could handle the day of coordination myself and didn't really want to spend the extra money on a coordinator. I don't even know where to start my (new) husband and I are still so happy with the way our wedding turned out and I have to say we owe most of it to the amazing Nichole! Everyone is still talking about every detail of the wedding and how well planned it was. They are saying it was the best wedding they have ever attended. I tell them- it was the planner. The reason you should get a planner:

Weddings are so so expensive- really no matter what- they know how to get you great deals. 5. You can actually enjoy planning the wedding- not just stress out on getting it done. 6. They keep you in budget- unless of course you really want to spend more. 7. They make everything you really want happen. 8. You really cannot do it all alone and family can be less helpful. 9. Enjoy planning with your mom about the details and not just want to stress out about them. In my case several moms, but piece of mind is so valuable.
Let me list the ways she saved me money:
1. Venue rental issue 2. FOOD- a lot of money saved there and the food was amazing 3. flowers 4. outside rental- bargined a new price 5. hotel stay for my party discount 6. room block in SF for rates not in the city. 7. alcohol 8. hair makeup 9.photographer... I am sure even more ways than I even know or can think of off the top of my head. She was on every deal and dollar to save me money. And hey it adds up!
Our wedding was at the Generals Residence Fort Mason in San Francisco. From the day I began working with Nichole, she made me feel calm cool collected and most of all confident, confident that I could really get everything done. Not only did we get everything we wanted- She surpassed our expectations. The decor and coordination of the day was flawless I can honestly say there was not one hiccup or one thing that even went the slightest wrong.
Nichole was in charge from start to finish and made sure the day was perfect when I said bye to her at the end of the night I was thinking how I would ever survive without her. I was so thankful to her we feel like we could never repay her for making our day perfect.

I was able to work with Nichole and Lindsay; both are great. Their cost is what brought me to them; very reasonable! They think of everything for you in the planning process and are great partners to have in a stressful time. They are good about responding to emails and unexpected incidents. Three weeks before my wedding, my flower vendor dropped out. Lindsay was on it and got me a terrific replacement in a very speedy turnaround.
After interviewing several wedding planners, we met with Nichole of 2 Friends Events and felt an instant connection. Not only is she extremely experienced and organized, she's also sweet, encouraging, funny, patient, comforting, etc, etc. We simply cannot express how grateful we are to have had her help make our wedding a dream come true.
We found her planner’s fee to be extremely reasonable and competitive, and we felt like she earned it all in the first month! Everything was planned and handled well in advance, and no matter how often unexpected things came up, or we changed our mind or our budget, no matter what-- Nichole was always the calming voice assuring us that it would work out fine. And it did!
She was so patient and kind about keeping us on track with our schedule and our budget. When we had trouble making decisions, she was happy to discuss the situation with us, either on the phone or in person, and offer suggestions and options to help us decide.
On the wedding day, even though the bride & bridesmaids were WAY late after hair & makeup, Nichole was, again, amazingly calm and reassuring, and she was somehow able to get the ceremony underway right on time!
Also, although we had planned out every detail, when our special day came, we were able to relax and not worry about anything, knowing that Nichole would make it happen. She kept us on track and also handled all the vendors with kid gloves, but they could tell that there was iron in her fist if necessary. Many of our guests commented on how romantic our wedding was, and how beautiful the reception area was, and we could not have done it without Nichole.

I hired Nichole Simpson to plan my wedding in 2012 after interviewing about 7 different wedding planners in California. We live in Florida and were planning a destination wedding in Napa so it was very important to me to hire a planner who I could trust being three time zones away and who knew enough about the local area to be able to help make recommendations as we would not be able to meet with many of our vendors.

Nichole was simply amazing! I was so impressed with her throughout the entire process. She was always available, quick to respond and gave sound advice. There were several times that I was stuck needing advice and she was always there to help me navigate the inevitable sticky wedding prep scenarios.
The help she provided leading up to the wedding (including a 3 hour session a month or so before the big day) was key to my sanity and our wedding success. I myself am overly detail oriented at times and she covered items that I hadn't even thought of - imagine that!
When it came time for the big day she was our angel! From wrangling family and bridal party at the Rehearsal dinner and coordinating vendor set up to making sure everything went off without a hitch on the big day, she was on it. Having her there allowed me to relax and enjoy the day without worrying about anything. If they ran out of ice, I never knew - things were taken care of without me knowing a thing. Not only did I get to relax and enjoy but so did my family. I cannot thank her enough for that.
She even worked with the caterer to put together a box of food for us and had it all set to go in the getaway car! It was all the little things and the details like this that made her so special.
The next day when we went back to the estate to collect all our things (décor, left over booze etc.), we found everything EXACTLY how it was when she arrived. She even re-tied the bow on the box that had transported our toasting flutes! It's as though she read my mind and knew exactly how I would have done things.
Of all the painful purchases you make during the wedding planning process, this is one you should NOT lament. Nichole was worth it! 20 times over! I strongly recommend Nichole and her team for your wedding or any event for that matter.

They started helping me about a month out from the wedding; finishing up details, helping me decide some last things, and gave me great ideas. Then at the rehearsal they were great. They got everything (and everyone) organized and done quickly.
For the Wedding day itself, with torrential downpours and a structure fire adjacent to the venue, Nichole and Lindsay handled everything perfectly. They setup the ceremony and reception better than I had envisioned. Getting the guests into the venue, running the wedding schedule, handling the shuttles, and a million other things was all done so smoothly!

Most often at times the events leading up to the wedding can be a stressful time for couples, but that was not the case for us. I planned the entire wedding by hand, so when it came down to putting it all together I needed major help.
Lindsay and Nicole were really great for the "Day Of" planning. They put together the entire rehearsal and bought me a bottle of wine when I was about to have an emotional breakdown! They filled in all the gaps and tidied up all the plans so that we had an amazing wedding.
Hiring 2 Friends Events was the best decision that my husband and I made in the planning process for our wedding!!! Nichole and Lindsay worked closely with us the whole time and made the process as stress free as possible. They went with us to view as many venues as we needed and even proposed options that we didn't know were available. I feel that they went above and beyond what other wedding planners were offering and I would definitely hire them again if I were planning another big event. My husband and I got married in the SF Zoo this past May, and many commented that it was one of the best-run weddings ever. This is in no small part to our two day-of wedding planners.
We met up with them months before the wedding, and they gave us a checklist/timeline of things we needed to consider and organize. To help us out, they had suggestions and recommendations of items and vendors, but they were totally flexible.
As the big day drew nearer, they toured the wedding and reception venues with us, offering pointers and assembling a timeline for the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception. We gave them the contact information for all the working parties (officiant, SF Zoo coordinator, florist, DJ, photographers, and even our military saber arch!) and they were able to organize everyone into one coherent effort of getting the wedding setup and moving.
Throughout the reception, our planners would find us and let us know when certain events would be happening (ex: in ten minutes we’ll do the garter toss), and they coordinated with our DJ so that he could time the music and make the appropriate announcements. When it was finished, they helped us tear down and pack everything up, even driving some of our leftover cake to our hotel room nearby!
Overall, we are thrilled we hired our day-of planners. The wedding went off exactly on time and finished exactly when we planned on it winding down. Additionally, there were no foul-ups and there was no confusion between ourselves, our guests, or any of our vendors, and this was owed almost entirely to them.
Being that my groom and I are both creative, we knew that we could easily plan a meaningful, beautiful, and personal wedding ourselves. But, what bride would want to be running around in her wedding dress frantically arranging flowers and paying vendors? Absolutely not me. We knew right away that we would need an experienced, reasonably priced and flexible Day-Of Wedding Coordinator to help pull it all off. We found even better in "2 Friends Events": we found TWO coordinators!
Not only are Nichole and Lindsay personable and friendly, but they really know what they are doing! I imagine that it is not the easiest job to coordinate a wedding with so many opinions in the mix. I am sure that it is even more difficult when the coordinator has not been with the bride and groom every decision-making step of the way. But these ladies asked the right questions. We met at the venue to discuss my vision. I told them what I had accomplished so far, what I wanted the day to look like, what concerns I had, what areas I needed their help with executing, and considered Nichole's excellent tips and advice. I could call, text or email anytime that I needed. Compared to other coordinators that I had looked into, who limit your number of emails or charge per phone call, that was a relief. Our DIY wedding, presented the ladies with a couple of uncommon challenges, but not to worry - all was taken care of perfectly! We had a coordinated ceremony rehearsal which was very helpful, and they even drove out to Berkeley to pick up our pies. On the big day, the flow of the ceremony and reception was flawless, our timeline was tight and they stuck to it, our vendors got paid, hiccups were discretely dealt with, clean up was painless, and everyone got off the property in a timely manner. We got our deposit back in full because of "2 Friends Events" (my Mom says "Thank you" for that!).
I have realized now that last minute panics (on my end), late vendors, and left behind boutonnière pins are bound to happen. Even the best laid plans can go wrong. But if you have a great team to back you up, that is invaluable. Champagne always calms nerves, allowing a small time cushion in your timeline for the possibility of late vendors is comforting, and experienced coordinators never leave home without safety pins in their emergency supplies! And of course, a phone call from my coordinator who was already on site while I was at the spa, on the morning of the day I was to marry the man of my dreams, that started with "You're getting married today, are you excited?!" was the perfect way to keep me focused on my goal for the day!
In the end, that ultimate goal was accomplished - we got married and had a fantastic time doing it! We are so happy that we choose "2 Friends Events" - thank you Nichole and Lindsay!
