I cannot say enough great things about TwoUnique. Their food is absolutely phenomenal! We had been to weddings previously where TwoUnique had catered and the food was so great that when it came time for our own wedding, we reached out. Carolyn helped us throughout the entire planning process and was so knowledgable/available when we had questions. She helped us craft our menu and guided us with various decisions. She also was more than accommodating for our guests who had allergies. The food/dessert at our wedding was so amazing and every guest we spoke with said the same. We were worried about food being dry or cold because we had so many guests (270) but neither of those things were an issue. Guests raved about both meals, but the salmon and risotto were particularly delicious!! Megan was also an amazing help on the day of, managing the staff and making sure that dinner went out on time and was seamless. She even brought us our own little appetizer tray with 2 of each appetizer to make sure that we were able to taste them! Our cutter cake was also super cute and delicious. We are so glad that we hired TwoUnique and wouldn't change a thing about it. Definitely hire them for your wedding/events!!

2U provided the best experience for our wedding. The team was knowledgeable, responsive, and accommodating to everything we needed. They took care of our tables, chairs, linens, cutlery, everything! And the food was absolutely amazing! When guests talk about our wedding, every single time they bring up how great the food was. Highly highly highly recommend.

5 stars is simply not enough for Two Unique! We worked with Arin for our rentals and catering at The Whiskey Factory. Arin was always so friendly and quick to get back to me with my many questions from the start. The food tasting was so fun, and we quickly realized that we could not go wrong with ANY of their menu items. They are all so delicious, and we walked out of our tasting full and excited for our wedding food (we ended up going with the Red Wine Braised Short Rib and Lemon Chardonnay Chicken). Fast forward to our wedding– absolutely no “hiccups” with rentals or food. Our guests would not stop raving about how delicious the food was and how great the service was. Many guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had, and that they never had servers at a wedding continue to check in as diligently as Two Unique’s staff. The dessert table was also a hit. Two Unique was a HUGE part of why our wedding day was so perfect. Pat and I will forever refer Two Unique–you cannot go wrong with their team and exceptional customer service. We had an amazing experience with Two Unique Catering at the Wright Museum for a summer dinner party. Arin was wonderful to work with. She is very detail oriented and was able to accommodate all our guests with special dietary needs. The serving team was "top-shelf." They were fun, yet professional and worked together seamlessly as a team. The food was delicious (10/10) and portions generous. We will definitely use them again.

2 Unique was an incredible caterer! Arin was incredibly responsive to emails and helped answer all of our questions in the months leading up to the wedding. We did not do a tasting prior to the event but were blown away by the quality of the food. From the appetizers and dinner to dessert and late night snack, everything tasted amazing. We had a lot of guests with dietary restrictions/allergies and they were very accommodating and easy to work with. Would 10/10 recommend them for any wedding or event.

We attended a wedding last evening catered by 2 Unique. BEST FOOD WE HAVE EVER HAD AT A WEDDING, and we have attended many weddings!! This was the second time we have attended an event catered by 2 Unique. Most delicious food and beautiful presentation!! Very friendly and attentive staff. Wonderful catering company!!

2Unique did a great job catering our wedding on 7/15/23! Carolyn managed the process until the day-of team took over and she was quick to respond to all of our questions and easy to work with! On the day-off, our team captain, Megan, made sure everything went smoothly. The team even ran out to grab more ingredients for tequila sunrises when they noticed our guests were ordering them the most! Our late night snack pretzels were a huge hit as well. We would recommend them for any event!

Amazing food for any event! We had a wonderful experience at our tasting - Carolyn and her team made us feel so special. Everything we tasted we loved, which made our decision so hard to make. Seriously, every app and main dish they offer is delicious. We have received SO many compliments about how fantastic the food was at our wedding. We loved it all!

Two Unique was hands down one of the best choices we made. Carolyn was amazing - she made sure we had thought through every detail and was super accommodating. It was really important to us that the food at our wedding was tasty but also on time. From apps to desserts they far exceeded our hopes and dreams. Everyone told us how good and how much they enjoyed the good. “Best food I’ve had at a wedding in a longggg time” was said - A LOT! Outside of the food and all the preparation help, the catering staff was incredible. They were kind, helpful, on top of the schedule and became a highlight in our day. I can’t say enough good things!

We asked Two Unique to cater our wedding, and we had an extraordinary experience working with them. Two Unique is more than just delicious food because they can arrange so many additional services (tables, lighting, tents, etc.) that makes the wedding planning so much easier. Their short rib is to die for, and when we run into our guests they keep reminding us about how tremendous the food was at our wedding. My wife and I cannot recommend them enough. Brittany Ling was our event coordinator and she was amazing.

Detroit Chiavari had been highly recommended by our venue and after reviewing a few rental sites, their rentals fit our style and their prices fit our budget. Not to mention they were very easy to work with. They answered any questions we had within a timely manner and even helped us get ahold of another vendor when something had come up and we weren't sure what to do. They definitely didn't have to go that extra mile but they did and we are so thankful for it. Overall, Detroit Chiavari had affordable, a great selection of rentals and were SO easy to work with.

2Unique was the most amazing vendor. I am so glad we booked through them. They are now the preferred vendor for The Whiskey Factory where I got married so if you are a couple who just booed that venue…you are in amazing hands. But back when I booked, they were not! I had the worst time trying to find caterers to respond to me let alone get me a quote. 2Unique responded right away and was so responsive and communicative. I had no idea what I was doing or what I really needed and they were able to walk me through everything. Right away I knew I needed to book them. I worked with Carolyn (and sometimes Jim) throughout the process, and they are truly incredible people who care about your big day. I loved the convenience of being able to book several things I needed through one vendor. I booked all my rentals through them and the staff to help with not only serving but my room flip. Day of, the service was amazing and it was the best food ever!!! We got SO many compliments. Our budget only allowed for a buffet, and I am not joking when I say we are still getting people telling us it was the best buffet at a wedding they have ever had. I am SO happy we booked them and you will 100000% not regret it. Everyone at 2unique has been wonderful to work with but special shout out to Carolyn who was a rockstar!!!

We used 2 Unique for our wedding and would absolutely recommend them. The food was amazing and our guests gave so many compliments on it. We used them for our cocktail hour, plated dinner service and late night snack and everything was amazing. Carolyn was great at communicating through email to get us everything we wanted and the day of the staff was great with serving our guests in a timely manner.

We chose 2 Unique for our wedding and it was the absolute best decision! Carolyn was so amazing to work with and answered all of my questions (a lot!) within minutes every time. They handled everything from dinner and dessert to all of the rentals and room flipping, which was truly incredible. The whole planning process and day of was seamless because of them. I could not recommend them enough!!

Working with 2 Unique catering (Carolyn) for our wedding day was incredible. She was very prompt with communication and helped provide us with a plethora of information in regards to different dining styles and helped provide great recommendations for what would be good for the flow of our meal and venue. They have such an amazing list of appetizers, it was hard to choose just a few for our cocktail hour. We chose 4 different types and our guests had a great variety that was readily available (we heard from several guests the appetizers came around frequently) and not to mention they were all so yummy! The dinner service was unmatched! The service was prompt in making sure food came out quick and hot and the servers were constantly walking around refilling beverage glasses. We brought our own wine to our venue and with them having their liquor license they were able to provide table side wine service for our guests. We received so many compliments about the delicious food and amazing quality service from our guests. Would highly recommend working with them. Also if you have the chance- check them out at Detroit City Distilling when they provide brunch- you won’t be disappointed!

Brittany went above and beyond to help us with the details of our wedding. She helped us iron out all the details down to napkin color! We got so many compliments on our food, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

Two Unique catered our wedding at the end of March 2022. From the minute we started working with them, their customer service was unmatched. The food was absolutely incredible. I can’t get over all the delicious hors d'oeuvres. We got so many compliments on not only the incredible taste but the great service. I would definitely recommend for any catering need.

A few highlights: - We chose to have a plated dinner with a few options, a cheese table appetizer, & a petite sweets dessert table w/ a cutter cake for me & my husband. Nearly EVERY guest - & we had about 200 guests - said this was the BEST food they've ever had at a wedding, & we completely agree. The fresh, high quality ingredients made a huge difference. - Not only was Chef Kelli & her staff incredibly helpful at the tasting to help us customize our menu but Carolyn was on top of organizing things throughout the entire process. - The day-of reception staff was friendly & efficient, & you could tell they were comfortable in our venue & with our 2 level setup (The Crofoot in Pontiac, MI). - We also ordered our linens with their partner at a reasonable price, which made that process so streamlined. Their linen company had a great selection for all wedding styles, & that's coming from someone who had a glam rock themed wedding with navy sequins for the head table, navy & gold silks, & textured white napkins. If you're looking to have delicious food that's customized to your style, to support a local business that's woman-owned, & to relax on your big day knowing one of the most important parts of your celebration is in great hands, look at 2U!

We first found 2 Unique through "The Knot," but decided to choose them after they were a preferred vendor for ever venue we toured. I must say, it was the best decision we have made. We worked directly with Carolyn Berry, their director of sales, and I mentioned that a lot of my family has celiac disease, so I was looking for all Gluten Free meals. Turns out, a few members of their team were 100% GF so 2 Unique had plenty of Gluten Free options to choose from - the most of any caterer in the area. Communication was constant, and Carolyn would always follow up when I would forget to reply (which I tended to do a lot..sorry!) Our tasting was absolutely out of this world and we ended up choosing most of the options they served us from there 1 Fish, 1 Beef, and a Veggie Option. Our event captain was Nicole and her and her team were just as phenomenal. Food service was perfect during dinner. I originally wasn't going to thank people during dinner so I could enjoy the moment; but being the bride I still saying hi to everyone after the salad course. Nicole checked in with me multiple times as she wanted to ensure I still 1) ate and 2) had a nice and warm meal. I indeed had both, as did every single guest at the event. At the end of the night, I even introduced her to my grandmother who was almost crying as this was the first wedding she has been to where she was able to eat everything but dessert. The Gluten-Free Rolls were her absolute favorite. I ended up missing out on the dessert table, so I was happy to see that the staff packaged all of the leftovers up for me to take home.

Two Unique and Brittany were a pleasure to work with! I planned my first ever wedding for my cousin and was new to all things "I do". I was impressed with how quickly Brittany always got back to me, a good sign in a vendor. The tasting was one of the coolest experiences I've had and I could not believe how yummy everything was! She was patient with all my questions and last minute concerns. The staff at the event were professional, efficient, timely and really fun to talk to! Many of our guests shared that they enjoyed the food and bar service. I'd definitely recommend them for catering and bar service. They help make your planning a lot easier! They also accommodated our COVID safety requests and were understanding of some concerns the bride had regarding how the food was prepared due to her passion for animal rights. Brittany really went out of her way to make it the best day for the couple.

We selected Two Unique for our Wedding and Carolyn Berry along with her team were exceptional partners throughout this whole planning process. We were initially impressed with how good the food was during our tasting as well as the professionalism of the staff. As we continued searching it became an easy choice to stick with Two Unique and we were pleased with our decision on our Wedding Day. They offer just enough creative options while still providing enough familiarity so you don't feel like you are taking any risks. We received great feedback from our guests on how much they enjoyed the food and we cannot thank them enough for their contributions to our big day!

I cannot say enough kind things about 2 Unique. The food was AMAZING, and they definitely give customers the ability to rent all things required for an event without sourcing multiple vendors, but this is only the beginning. Due to COVID, our wedding had to undergo MULTIPLE changes, including two venue changes, one of which occurred TEN DAYS before the event. Carolyn and the 2 Unique team were extremely understanding and professional. We had to cut our wedding from 250 to 25 guests, and I was able to utilize my deposit from the originally planned reception to the much smaller event without any hassle. With all the stress that we were going through, this degree of flexibility was truly a lifesaver. I would highly recommend using 2 Unique for your event, and since our wedding, my future sister in law has already booked them!

Due to COVID I had to last minute move my wedding outside to my backyard. Luckily 2 Unique had an opening and we were able to book them - this is one of the BEST decisions I made for the entire wedding. I worked with Carolyn throughout the process and she was amazing. She responded quickly and was very helpful. We went with a duo plated dinner: Grilled beef tenderloin, pan seared chicken breast, horseradish whipped potatoes, petite vegetables, red pepper demi-glace sauce. IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!! So many of my guests said it was the best steak they've ever had, cooked to perfection. ALL of my guests RAVED about the food, they just couldn't get over how good it was! They came recommended so I knew they would be good, but wow they exceeded my expectations. Their service was great day of, all meals were served warm and the entire team was so friendly and great. They provided bar tenders who were also great! I received so many compliments, just made the wedding. MUST BOOK!!!

Two Unique hit it out of the park. The service was amazing from servers to bartender to catering captain Amy. The plating and presentation was really well done. We knew the food would be good- we specifically booked this vendor because we had had their food elsewhere- and it did not disappoint! They were professional from start to finish and they know their stuff. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was tough but I was 100% confident I didnt need to keep checking in with Two Unique because they were on top of everything. I would recommended them to anyone. They're worth every cent and more!

Just had our wedding with 2Unique as the caterers. Like any bride and groom we were slightly too nervous to eat, but every guest commented on our great the food was! The staff was accommodating and went above and beyond cleaning up tables and even replacing where the cake was with glow sticks after they went to cut it. Brittany helped us beforehand and she was always great with working around my 9-5 schedule and upbeat about everything.

The staff at 2 Unique were extremely helpful with our menu. We were able to do a wonderful sampling of a lot of seasonal, unique foods, all in the home of the owner! They have since moved to a larger location with an in house kitchen and wonderful dining area. Their response to any and all of our questions were fast helpful. The professionalism they showed at our wedding was outstanding. Between the friendly staff during cocktail hour and the beautiful presentation of our family style dinner; it was out of this world. Highly recommend this caterer!

2Unique totally hit our wedding out of the park! They were great to work with from start to finish. Adrienne was responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, and ensured our reception went smoothly the day of. The servers and bartenders were attentive and charismatic, they truly seemed to be having a good time! They even checked on my husband and I throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. And the food was AWESOME. I'm really sad I didn't eat more of it. We're still getting rave reviews on the food! I would definitely recommend them for your wedding.

Our wedding was nothing short of spectacular and choosing Two Unique was our best decision. Shona guided us with all things food, ordering tables and chairs for both our ceremony and reception and really helped us plan a vision for our reception theme. Both of our locations were complicated but the Two Unique team made it look easy. For the reception they had to bring in everything(!!) for a kitchen. All we had at the building was electricity and their team took that challenge without batting an eye and delivered. Absolutely everyone came up to us and our families at the wedding raving about the food. From cocktail hour to dinner then the mini cupcakes to compliment our cake was so good!! Without a doubt you need to work with Two Unique for your next catering need.

Everything was phenomenal! We got so many compliments that the food at our wedding was the "best wedding food they ever had" which is a huge compliment. We have a lot of foodies in our families and they definitely rose to the occasion! All of the staff was super professional, helpful, and kind. I would recommend 2 Unique over ad over again!!

2 Unique was the only option offered through our wedding venue but after our experience and rave reviews from our guests, 2 Unique would be our choice regardless of the venue. When we were first sampling the food we were amazed by the amount of options for not only the entrees but the appetizers as well and all of the selections we made were outstanding. The gluten free and vegan options were great for us as we were able to accommodate all of our guests with fantastic food. The service was immaculate as all of our needs and our guests needs were met. The staff was engaging and knowledgeable when any of our guests had questions regarding the fantastic food. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and 2 Unique played a large role in our day.

Two Unique is exceptional. We booked them for our wedding reception. Leading up to the event, we worked with Shona. She answered our many questions and made the whole process so easy. Everyone at the reception raved about the outstanding food and service. But that's not surprising--my husband's family has used them for years. Chef Kelli catered my husband's bar mitzvah and high school graduation party, so we knew we were getting the best. Trust me when I say you will too when you book them for your catering needs.

Two Unique surpassed our expectations. We used them for our wedding, and everything was excellent. The food was amazing, and the service was even better. Extremely accommodating! We had passed appetizers, meat and cheese platters, strolling dinner stations, Michigan assorted deserts, late night coney dogs, and even made a personalized cake for my grandfather’s birthday! The stations were so much fun and so good! It might be the best chicken I’ve ever had. We even rented our ceremony chairs through them. They had it all and were extremely helpful. We would highly recommend!

Two Unique catered our wedding this past August and they were incredible! The food was amazing- we did stations which offered a variety of options. We had a lot of vegetarian and gluten free guests and they easily accommodated everyone. Shona was great to work with- professional, innovative and punctual! Her team did an awesome job catering to all my guests needs & the bars never had a line! I would highly recommend Two Unique for any event you have in the future!

Creating a custom menu was a plus.. especially since I wanted to have an all vegan wedding. All of the guests LOVED the food which made me very happy as the bride. The only thing I wish was different was that the left over food was boxed up for us. We were so busy during the night that we didn’t really have a chance to eat dinner or our late night snack.

I’m not just saying this because it was our wedding- but it was the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding. We chose a Mexican buffet complete with a taco bar, quesadillas, empanadas, chips and salsa, and rice and beans. It was all absolutely amazing. We are still getting compliments on how amazing our food was! Carolyn was so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. At the wedding, the servers brought my husbands and my plates to us allowing us to actually get to eat dinner rather than getting up and getting stuck talking to guests which I never even thought of but was truly so appreciated. The food was amazing and the servers were attentive. The pork quesadillas and mushroom skewers are absolutely out of this world. I am so happy I chose 2unique for our catering needs- they definitely exceeded my expectations!

We used 2U for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing. They were so helpful picking out a menu and working with us to find the perfect fit before the wedding. The day of they were so smooth and friendly, they really made my day stress free. The food was amazing and we got so many compliments on the small plates, it was a really fun option. 2 unique was recommended to us by our vendor The Crofoot and as soon as I started telling people so many people told us how awesome they were and they were right! We worked with Carolyn and she was super helpful and quick to respond to all my questions. The day of the workers made sure that my now husband and I got food first so we could eat before we started greeting people and made sure that our parents were the first to be called to get food after us! The food was truly amazing and we received so many compliments on how great it was! In preparing for the wedding and attending the tasting they had so many different options and it truly seemed like the sky was the limit! I highly recommend 2 unique!

2 Unique was so great to work with!! Adrienne had so many great ideas- including combining our cultures with a Italian charcuterie and pierogi appetizers for our cocktail hour. They knew our venue space so well, so when it came down to all the little details everything was perfect! Our guests absolutely loved the food and the service was fantastic!

The food was incredible and expertly crafted to meet our Detroit/Michigan themed wedding. Everything was executed wonderfully. They were so phenomenal to work with! Shona was amazing, even answering my emails while on maternity leave (I swear, I thought she was already back otherwise I wouldn't have bothered her!). She was willing to quote everything and anything I asked and took care of everything perfectly for the day of. The servers where phenomenal and friendly and the food was delicious. Price-wise, it's a good deal compared to others I'd seen and the full service they provide was well worth it!

We are food people who really dreamed of sharing a meal with friends and family that was personal and special. We made the tough decision to buy out our venue's caterer and hire an outside caterer. During our first meeting, we presented Chef Kelli with a lot of dreams and a tough budget. She and her team (especially Shona) did everything they could to make the wedding meal of our dreams come true!!! The 2 Unique team was incredibly responsive and helpful as the date neared, advising on table placement and room setup, along with their own tasks. The final product was beyond belief. I still cannot believe that they delivered a meal of restaurant quality for almost 220 guests. Our friends and family were truly overwhelmed by the diverse offerings (ramen, bao buns, spaghetti bolognese, risotto, prime rib... the list goes on). Not only are they top notch caterers and cooks -- the entire team is incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. We are beyond grateful to Kelli, Shona and the rest of the 2 Unique team for playing such an important part on the most special day of our lives. Please do not hesitate to hire them for your own wedding. They understand the magnitude and deliver first-class results.

ok lets be real.... food on your wedding day is on the list for most important things for your guests on your wedding day... and wow does 2Unique satisfy the stomach! The food was absolutely fantastic, and our friends and family couldn't stop raving about it! The staff was fantastic as well, they were so attentive to everyone's needs and friendly. A little back story real quick... my wedding was affected by the California wild fires and I had to re-plan my wedding in four days (yikes) but 2 Unique was willing to jump on what seemed like the impossible and did it with such style. I'm so thankful they were prepared to help me out last minute. I can't recommend them enough!

2 Unique did any amazing job for our wedding this past September! They went over and above and exceeded our biggest expectations. Carolyn was always prompt with her responses during our wedding planning process! The day of staff were exceptional the bartenders quickly learned our signature drink, the food stations were perfectly decorated with our baseball theme and Carl was very attentive to us, our wedding party and guests! Everyone is still talking about how phenomenal the food was (not the typical wedding food) and how great the staff was! I would recommend them to anyone as our wedding wouldn't have ran as smoothly without them!!

Two Unique was PERFECT for our wedding at Belle Isle Casino. They handled all the linens, serve-ware, utensils, food, and bar service to make our day run smoothly. They interacted well with our guests, plus made sure we got enough to eat on our hectic day. The food was fantastic and their drinks were delicious, and we had so many compliments about them. I would absolutely recommend!! From hor d earves to dinner buffet to the dessert display everyone at my wedding commented on the amazing food!! Many people said the brisket was the best they had every had!! The crew also delivered a plate of everything to try at the start of dinner to me and my groom. They were also very responsive and accommodating throughout all the wedding planning. Great food and great service!!!

Working with 2 Unique catering made planning a wedding from out of town so easy. Adrienne and her team were so helpful with arranging everything from linens, to the bar set up, to the amazing food! They were recommended by our venue the Detroit Historical Museum and were honestly the best choice we could have made. All of our guests complimented the food all night long and in the days after the reception. They were able to accommodate all of the dietary needs of our guests (the gluten-free mac and cheese was incredible). The staff was so professional and polite to everyone. They made sure my husband and I were had food and drinks all night long. They even gave us huge plates of food to take with us after the reception ended! Would highly recommend to any couple for their big day!

Two Unique catered our wedding last week and it was fabulous. The staff was so amazing and helpful and went above and beyond when the tap for the keg we rented through a friend didn't work. A worker actually went to a liquor store nearby to rent us one for a few hours and just asked that we reimburse them for the price of the tap rental. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was as well. Not to mention the food spread and table were set up so beautifully. Our night would not have been so perfect without them. Shona was our contact over email and was helpful, patient and flexible with all my questions, changes and budget. I would recommend two unique to anyone who wants quality catering.

From Carolyn's prompt and clear communication throughout the planning process, to setting up at our venue, to providing amazing food and great service, we are so happy that Two Unique was a part of our wedding day. I am so happy that we went with 2 Unique for our wedding this past September! They were recommended by our wedding venue, and we could not have been happier with them. Carolyn was such as wonderful resource and was available every step of the way throughout our planning process. In addition to helping us plan our wedding menu and late night snack, she helped to arrange our chair and linen package through Luxe Linens. She truly did such a phenomenal job with coordinating this, and the day of the wedding, the entire 2 Unique staff was super attentive and provided excellent service! The food was also awesome, and the presentation is so cool and unique. Honestly, every guest I talked to seemed to mention how great the food was. If you’re able to secure this vendor for your wedding date, I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed!

They are so many great things about 2 Unique. We have never had them as a previous at a wedding. They were a preferred vendor for our venue. We went for our food tasting and the food was amazing!!! We were so happy with the food that we booked that day! They answered all of my question and emails through the 6 months of planning. Carolyn was so nice and offered other things that we needed. 3 days before our wedding we had to change and add a high chair, and they added it without question! On the day of the wedding we heard so many wonderful things about the food and wait staff. The food tasted better than it did at our food tasting. (Which we didn't think it was possible!) We were so happy with the staff. They had one person take care of the head table and our parents table with making sure we had a fresh drink! Carl was that guy for us and he was awesome!!! He asked if there was anything we needed and he brought me a plate of Mac and Cheese!! Which was amazing!!! We are still getting compliments about our food a month after our wedding! We were over the moon for our food! Thank you for the best wedding ever!!
