We planned our Austin wedding from New York, which meant we came into the process with a pretty clear idea of what we wanted, but also a very strong awareness that we “didn’t know ...
what we didn’t know.” Lindsay came highly recommended by some of our other vendors, and she ended up being exactly the person we needed. The monthly Zooms were a huge part of keeping us sane: they gave us a regular opportunity to ask questions, make decisions, and generally be reassured that we didn’t have significant blind spots as we got closer to the big day. Her spreadsheets and resources were also extremely helpful for all of the little logistical stuff that you simply don't know how to do until you have planned a wedding before. She has great taste, is extremely practical, and is basically game for whatever weird logistical problem you throw at her. We were coming in from out of town and she even let us ship things to her in the days before the wedding, which was just one of many little ways she made the whole process easier.
The biggest thing I would say about Lindsay, though, is that she has an amazing vibe. There was never a sense that we needed to worry because Lindsay was worrying about it, but without making us feel like things were happening behind the scenes that we didn't understand. And then on the actual wedding day, everything just… happened. We had zero hitches, or more accurately, if we did (let’s be real, surely we did), we never heard about them because they were presumably solved without our input, knowing what we would have wanted. The day of the wedding was spent getting ready with friends and laughing rather than nervously making sure things were happening. Multiple guests independently commented afterward about how seamless and stress-free the wedding felt. We even had a somewhat unusual setup where we did a receiving line immediately after the ceremony and then transitioned into cocktail hour. It was hot, and some people inevitably had to wait a little while to get through the line and take their picture, but Lindsay made sure people had drinks and appetizers while they lined up. This made the whole thing feel intentional rather than like people were standing around waiting - so smart!
On a personal note, Lindsay is just a wonderful person. We were lucky enough to get to know her husband Román as well, and they are both lovely people who made the whole experience more fun. A wedding coordinator's job is ostensibly about timelines and spreadsheets and vendor wrangling, but an underrated part of it is also about how they make the couple feel during the process, and we always felt like we were in very good hands with Lindsay. If you're considering 22 Weddings and their offerings make sense for your wedding, I would absolutely recommend talking to Lindsay. Hiring her was one of the key decisions that made the whole wedding-planning experience feel less insane.

She kept us on track, on budget and on schedule. Not to mention calm and sane. She understood the vibe my daughter wanted and they clicked right away. Her relationships with many of the vendors was priceless. We would have been so overwhelmed without her! Besides being so organized, creative and professional, Lindsay is also incredibly kind and easy to talk to. We felt extremely comfortable explaining what we did and didn't want.
The wedding day went so smoothly-- and we didn't have to deal with any of the behind-the-scenes details.
Hiring 22 Weddings was really the best decision we could have made. I would recommend Lindsay to anyone!

er and more fun. She took things off of our plate that we didn't even know we had to think about! She's not only professional, responding in a timely and thorough manner, but also a fantastic human. She took the time to listen to our needs and priorities, and helped transform those wishes into actions for the big day. Hire Lindsay!!!

dom questions. In the days leading up to the wedding, she went above and beyond, helping with everything from designing and printing signs to picking up the wedding dress and cake, and coordinating all the final details with our vendors.
She’s incredibly organized and pays attention to every detail. On the wedding day, for example, she noticed that the drapes one vendor was hanging were wrinkled and immediately had someone run out to grab a steamer to make sure they looked perfect.
Because of Lindsay, the day of our wedding was completely stress-free. All we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves—she had everything 100% handled. It made the day effortless and so much fun.
We can’t recommend Lindsay highly enough—she’s truly exceptional!

made it feel super effortless to plan and prepare for our day and completely relinquish control knowing we were in good hands with her and her assistant. She went above and beyond - from wrangling a 20 person surprise lion dance crew to picking up last minute signage for us. I am honestly sad that our time is over. She ensure our wedding day was the best day of our lives. Do not hesitate to book!!

nate about bringing her clients’ visions to life. Thanks to Lindsay, I was able to fully relax and enjoy the day, knowing everything was in expert hands. And it turned out perfectly!
Even my other vendors had nothing but praise for Lindsay and her team, they were impressed by how smoothly everything was coordinated.
Thank you, 22 Weddings & Events, for making our day unforgettable!
Lindsay is amazing! We are so glad that she was recommended to us. We highly recommend to anyone who looking for a reliable, creative, and organized planner!
Lindsay helped distil...
led the overwhelming amount of decisions into a digestible and easy to follow “project plan” with decision dates, dependencies and who’s on point. This was SO helpful! It allowed my wife and I to focus where we needed to and not get overwhelmed with all the necessary details so we could have a life/enjoy our engagement while wedding planning.
Lindsay has deep knowledge and experience in the wedding industry and has the ability to listen to who you are, what you are wanting, and make that vision come to life. My wife and I didn’t have a set plan of exactly what we wanted, but we knew the general “vibe” we wanted. Lindsay was very detailed, asked questions, brought us options and made the “vibe” a reality. Also, this was no small feat as the “vibe” entailed a non-traditional, destination wedding where one partner has a keen aesthetic eye and the other had some more “creative” requests for the day of.
Lastly and certainly not least, Lindsay is simply an amazing human. While working with her, my wife and I could tell that she truly wanted us to have the wedding of our dreams and knew how to get us there. On the big day, I had a bit of nervous jitters but felt reassured when I saw Lindsay come around the corner with her trusty clipboard. She is truly a master of her craft and cares deeply that her clients have the best experience and best day.
Lindsay was by far the best investment we made when planning our wedding!

ld trust her with my life! She not only made all my dreams come true by being in-tune with my vision and vibe, but she became my friend, emotional support, and biggest cheerleader. I looked forward to each of my meetings with Lindsay— She is so genuinely kind and made me feel like I was her only client. She was impeccably organized and prepared for every call, always being 10 steps ahead. She managed communication and coordination with all of my vendors, ensuring everyone knew what to do, where to be, what time to be there, and that there would be zero problems. Each of my other vendors absolutely adored Lindsay as much as I did, and the same was felt by everyone in my family and bridal party.
I let Lindsay take control of most of the design work for my wedding. The last thing I wanted to do was spend time combing through options and deciding each detail (I’m a type B bride). I put my full trust in Lindsay to make the best design decisions for me and my space, all within my budget. She did an incredible job creating all my signage beautifully and spot-on with the vibe I was going for. I gave her little direction when it came to my florals other than I wanted it to look full. My jaw dropped when I saw the way she set up my ceremony and reception space. It was absolutely beautiful and felt like a magical flower wonderland. I can’t even count the number of people who commented on how amazing it looked.
On the days leading up to my wedding she helped me de-stress, reassuring me that it would be perfect and that I had absolutely nothing to worry about other than focusing on the love between me and my groom. Her calm nature and positive personality was exactly what a bride needs while preparing for the biggest day of their life.
On my wedding day, seeing her face immediately helped wash away some of the nerves I was feeling. She was there for me when I needed her by my side and yet at the same time was totally unseen working her magic like a wedding wizard.
Lindsay managed the schedule so perfectly, I never once had to wonder if I was OK on time, or if I needed to do anything because I knew she had it covered. I received several compliments from everyone in my bridal party about how organized and brilliant Lindsay was.
Me and my husband ended the best night of our lives smiling from ear to ear and full of gratitude for what Lindsay helped us accomplish. I continue to hear my now husband say “I can’t believe how perfect our wedding was.. it went off without a hitch!”
So if you’ve made it to the end of my sappy review, I hope you don’t pass up the opportunity to work with Lindsay. I would go back and do it all again with her in a heart beat :)

ms come to life! She answered questions before we could even ask them, solved problems before they even became problems, organized everything in a digestible way, all while maintaining a calm and comforting presence that made us feel at ease. I didn't think she could get any better and then the wedding day came... she kept everything on track managing vendor questions with ease, working her design magic to place all my items flawlessly, providing us with drinks in hand without even asking. She did it all! If you're looking for a coordinator and / or planner she's your gal!! AND even more specifically if you're looking for one for the Barr Mansion (like I was).. what are you still doing reading this review... she knows that place like the back of her hand! On the day itself, Lindsay was a true superhero. She coordinated with all our vendors, ensuring the venue had everything they needed and that everything ran smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing! She handled every detail with a smile and a calm, reassuring demeanor. It was clear she genuinely cared about making our day perfect
Beyond her professionalism, Lindsay was a joy to work with. She was easy to talk to, always responsive, and it felt like she was our biggest fan! We received so many compliments on how smoothly everything went, and it's all thanks to Lindsay and her team.

gestions and recommendations from prior experiences and did the research. This was very helpful especially because the venue was not local. She is very detailed and organized and kept us informed on what needed to be done and when. At the event, she noticed the servers were behind in filling the champagne glasses so she stepped in to help - very much appreciated !!!
It was such a pleasure working with Lindsay and Twenty Two Weddings for day-of-coordination. She was so knowledgeable about our venue and things went smoothly from start to finish!...

Having her on our side let us enjoy the wedding planning, and most importantly we loved our big day. Lindsay isn't only a great planner but now we have great friends for life with her and Roman.
Lindsay is THE BEST! Our wedding wouldn’t be what it was without her. She was there to answer any questions I had and help me nail down the small things to bring my vision to life....
She stayed calm under pressure, made decisions when needed and took action quickly. Due to some high winds we knicked our sparkler exit. She was quick to think of another option and gathered up the glow sticks from the dance floor. It was perfect!
I would recommend Lindsay to anyone getting married! She’s not only an amazing coordinator, but now a friend. Thank you for making our day PERFECT!

il, ensuring that I, as the bride, was fully prepared for the unexpected intricacies that often arise on such a momentous day. Lindsay's presence on the day itself, as well as in the lead-up, was invaluable in ensuring seamless execution.
Throughout the weeks preceding our wedding, Lindsay remained easily accessible, promptly addressing any queries or concerns that arose. Additionally, I was particularly impressed by her flexibility and openness when it came to incorporating elements of my home country's traditions into our celebration. Lindsay's cooperative spirit and understanding not only alleviated any potential stress but also contributed significantly to making our wedding day truly memorable and unique.
I would recommend 22 Weddings & Events in a heartbeat!

ed that I really didn’t worry about anything. Her husband even officiated our wedding. I would highly recommend her to everyone.
I got married in November '23, and Lindsay and Roman with 22 Weddings were so much to us: life savers, friends, problem solvers, hype ctew, and magicians during our wedding weekend...
! They are truly incredible, and we are so lucky we chose Lindsay as our wedding coordinator. From the very first call, we knew this was our perfect match thanks to her blend of positivity, calm & collected vibes, and a "get stuff done" ability like no other. She brainstormed with me for months on minute details and never made me feel like I was crazy (even though we all know that as brides, we are sometimes a wee bit crazy). In the days leading up to the wedding, Lindsay did so much to calm my nerves: she helped me with floor plan layout, worked with our venue through some issues, saved us money on printing by recommending an awesome store and literally PICKED up the seating charts for us, saved us when we didn't have a stand for our welcome sign, and helped my horrific design skills in Canva by adjusting my design of our menus. These are all things that go so far and above the package we had booked, and it's because Lindsay just generally cares about doing great work and making sure her couples are confident, happy and calm. On the day of our wedding, holy moly! They worked our set up (in the rain) as if they were 10 people, Roman saved the day with lighting cigars when our butane was out, they put out metaphorical fires (and helped start literal fires when we needed fireplaces lit), and so much more. My husband and I are so happy that we found Lindsay and Roman, and it's crazy to think that one year ago, they were strangers to us and now are such close friends!
Lindsay is the absolute best! She came recommended to us by word of mouth and totally lived up to the hype, we recommend her to all our engaged friends… and now you! She helped us ...
plan a 2-day multicultural wedding (one day being habesha!!) this past summer, and we honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without her. The days went off without a hitch, or at least none that we noticed at the time (because of Lindsay!). She provided design suggestions, scheduling guidance, institutional knowledge, quick responses, endless laughs… I wish she could just live with us and help out with every day life! 10/10 ✨
I don't know what I would have done without Lindsay! She made herself available to me whenever I had questions and our day ran so smoothly

did it and did it with a smile. We were fortunate to work with the Chief Chaos Coordinator extraordinaire- Lindsay. It is clear that Lindsay loves what she does and cares about ensuring that people have an amazing experience that is uniquely theirs- plus she is dang good at it! Thanks to her excellent organizational skills everything was seamless from our first meeting to discuss our vision to the entire wedding day. Her positive, confident, and calm attitude has to be contagious. I instantly felt all the stress of planning this big day melt away as we talked for the first time, just weeks before the big day (yes, I am usually an "I can do it myself" person and put off asking for help). She thought of so many details we would have not considered had it not been for her and she always had a helpful suggestion that fit our style anywhere we asked for guidance - from songs, to timing of activities, to layout - you name it, she knows it.
As an organization nerd myself, I loved how everything was kept in a shared spreadsheet for full visibility on what we still needed to do and the run of the day.
As for our wedding day, things could not have run more smoothly. Lindsay and Román were there every step of the way, keeping things on schedule, working with our vendors, and anticipating needs. Though we did not have a DJ, she went out of her way to make sure we had a sound system to make announcements and toasts. Román even made a store run when we ran out of a popular drink! Plus he was quick to lend a hand (and a shoulder) to help one of my friends get the perfect hay bale picture.
My husband and I and our guests had so much fun and were impressed with everything. It really was the day of our dreams come to life - without an ounce of stress! There is no way this wedding would have even been half as amazing without all the hard work and experience from Lindsay! If you're getting married or planning a big event, hiring 22 Weddings & Events is a decision you will be forever grateful for.

ob she did at my son's October 2022 wedding: both came off without a hitch, thanks to Lindsay. She is cool, calm, friendly, unflappable and very professional - and she makes everything move along (apparently) seamlessly. When we hired her, my daughter and her fiancé already had the big items covered (venue, band, dress) but Lindsay still added immense value with her detailed knowledge about every aspect of the process (things like printing, rentals, sources, vendor coordination, band meal requirements, etc.). She helped us keep on budget, went above and beyond at every step, and became a friend in the process. On a scale of 1-100, Lindsay gets 100.

nything during the wedding planning process, she was always available with assistance, suggestions, or answers. Lindsay felt more like a friend than a vendor and it was easy to trust her with all aspects of my wedding, especially when other vendors needed wrangling. They were patient, kind, professional, and took the initiative to make sure there was a happy bride and overall successful wedding day/night.

ng the theme and vibe of the party to using her network of vendors and contacts and securing contracts closer to the date of the event. Lindsay is very detail-oriented, super helpful and so easy to get a hold of. She would get the general idea from me on what I wanted and then go research the options and come back with amazing ideas to pick from. She was so creative in coming up with the theme colors of the party, designing the invitations to mail out to the guests as well as the centerpieces that she single-handedly brainstormed and laid out on the tables at the party. All my guests complimented me on the amazing vibe and smooth execution of the party, and Lindsay had everything to do with it. She is truly an amazing event organizer, and I highly recommend her for any special event needs you might have!
