The venue 26Bridge was a dream setting for our wedding in May 2024. From the onset, we were super comfortable working with them, and our team of vendors who had tons of experience with the venue. It is spacious, rustic, and warm - with tons of potential for customization (which we did with flowers, candles, etc.). Great acoustics for the ceremony and the dance floor as well! Our venue easily fit our 150 guests and everyone had a great time!

My sister was married on august 25th at BK Venues location of 26 Bridge. The company has a 3rd party cleaner that failed to do their job and made our family do it instead. Had many issues during the process of wedding planning, including rude and unprofessional staff members. Our family helped fix the placed until past 1AM on wedding night.
Book elsewhere.

We got married at 26 Bridge on August 25, 2023. I recommend you run as far as you can from the BK Venues company.
I initially came across of this company in 2016 when I began working as a wedding planner and had various events at their locations. For my own wedding, 26 Bridge seemed to be up to par with other empty lot venues like the 501 union. As we had our wedding delayed due to both of us being healthcare providers and frontline clinicians, we were ecstatic to move forward with BK Venues. Finally, we’d be married! It went downhill after booking.
In terms of the biggest issues, there was a leak with water gushing during our wedding day. They bought out buckets and mops and it went on for 30+ minutes. They cleaned up their mess and offered no apology to us. At the end of the same night, their cleaning staff told us to sweep the venue. There was no confetti and it was regular event trash, which is their job. We were in our wedding gear with our family, sweeping at 1AM. When their staff did finally decide to do their job, they threw out our belongings and we had to dig it through the trash. For reference, our wedding of 150 guests cumulatively cost $65,000. It’s not a small amount and takes a lot of sweat and effort to host a wedding. All down the drain when you end your wedding day digging through the trash. We’ve been processing this and we’re nothing short of heart broken.
I’d also like to add that their email system has various staff members replying instead of a continuous chain with an assigned individual, so there is constant mix ups. We were offered a 1 hour rehearsal time the day before our wedding, along with a final walk through. We ended up skipping the final walk through and went for the hour of rehearsal time. We were advised a cleaner would come to shut down the space, but he hadn’t, so the 5 of us finished our rehearsal and were standing around talking. This man then comes up to us, who didn’t speak English, so we couldn’t understand him. So, he called Darleen and communicated in Spanish that he was waiting for us to leave. Totally fine, but she decided to be rude to us the day before our wedding as if it’s not a massive failure on BK venues part to schedule an hour rehearsal a day before our wedding (they provided zero flexibility on the date of availability).
Overall, BK Venues is an unprofessional company all around. They violated the terms of their contract and that’’s acceptable by them, but they seemingly don’t have issues degrading the recipient of the contract for minuscule issues. In my 10 years of experience in wedding planning, I’ve never seen anything like this and can’t believe it happened to me for my own wedding.
Sincerely,
Dr. Eva Sultana
Any questions?

Amazing venue for our wedding. The space was huge, that we had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at this venue. The 26 Bridge staff was great in communication. I couldn't after for a better place for our wedding. Thank you so much!

Aged wallpaper, holes in the walls, stains on the wood bar, chips in the marble tables, tape on the walls, tears in the walls... BK venues did not properly maintain 26 Bridge from our initial walkthrough in February of 2018 to our rental date in June of 2019. Despite being assured a crew would come in an “touch up” the space before the wedding, most of the issues weren’t resolved.
We booked 26 Bridge in February of 2018 after doing a full walkthrough of the space. It was perfect. Fast forward to March of 2019 and the space looks... different. It was clear the venue aged without any maintenance. It looked like a run down catering hall, with the walls weathered from extraordinary use. It looked much different from our original walkthrough. It turns out the venue saw a drastic increase of demand (usually booked 6-7 days a week) but BK Venues did not take measures to keep up the general maintenance. The surprising demand of the space is something that they conceded was happening.
We were upset- we paid a very high rental fee for the day based on our initial walkthrough a year before. We felt we were not getting what we contractually agreed to. After reading through the contract we noticed there was no mention of the condition or upkeep of the venue which was unfortunate. There was nothing we can do and Adam made sure we knew that. His answer was basic- not everyone complains and people are still booking the venue at an even higher rate than what we paid. He did agree the space was worn down, but there was not enough downtime to rework the wallpaper or other issues. The venue was booked consistently through our wedding day in June.
The best we could do is warn others of these issues and hope others bring this to their attention. Please don’t make the same mistake we did.

26 Bridge was the perfect place for our wedding! We loved it when we had our first walkthrough. Throughout the planning process Adam was incredibly accommodating to help us find time to schedule 2 more walkthroughs when needed. We had 145 guests and plenty of room, definitely could have fit more! The venue was a great temperature, had an easy load-in dock, and plenty of space for all the vendors. The bridal and grooms’ suites downstairs with private bathrooms were amazing for getting ready. After the ceremony, my husband and I went up to the small balcony while the guests went to cocktail hour and it was the perfect spot to take a special moment together while overlooking our wedding! We didn’t need too much decor because the space is so beautiful! So many people kept telling us that as it became night time the room looked even more magical. So glad we chose 26 Bridge for our wedding ceremony and reception!

I’m so glad we found this gem of a space in Dumbo! My husband and I were looking for a space we could make our own but had a rustic/industrial vibe that would be beautiful on its own without needing a bunch of flowers or decor. This place was perfect and was big enough for our 200+ guests without feeling crammed. The acoustics was great and the photos of the space with candle light and string lights is magical.

Absolutely amazing venue! 26 Bridge offers a gorgeous alternative to traditional ballroom wedding venues. We could not have been happier! Thank you!!

Awesome venue!! We had such an amazing time at our wedding and our guests loved our venue. The 26 Bridge staff was incredibly easy to work with and were super communicative throughout our entire planning process. The ONLY negative thing I can say about 26 Bridge is that if you want to have an insane dance party (which we wanted to, and did!), then it's not the most ideal space for the "older guests" to sit and talk. The acoustics are tough and it's one big open space. If you're going to have loud, awesome music, and want your guests to have a place to go where they can talk, consider doing some furniture rentals for the front lobby area and really making the space into a lounge (that's my ONLY regret) in choosing this venue. Everything else was perfect.

26 Bridge was in the back (or front) of my mind way before I was engaged. It was the first venue we looked at, and even though we forced ourselves to look elsewhere, we knew this was what we wanted for our wedding. Growing up in Brooklyn, I never thought I would be able to have my dream wedding in a local venue. We had a 225 guest cocktail style reception at 26 Bridge. Adam was always available to answer our questions or address our needs. The place is raw, rustic, and beautiful on its own. The tables and chairs that are included in the rental are a big saving grace. The security guards provided for the evening were the nicest guys you could meet, who got along with everyone, and provided a few laughs. Security deposit was returned quickly, which is always nice not to have to ask! Highly recommend this venue!

26 Bridge is a beautiful venue! They are incredibly accommodating! The rentals they offer are great! The kitchen is huge and the bar is perfect! The staff was quick to reply to emails and were great at scheduling walk throughs!

I LOVE this venue! It was perfect and exactly what we were looking for when we got the idea of "industrial chic" for our wedding. The space is so unique that hardly any decorating needs to be done, which seems to be the cast with other industrial sort of spaces. Our guests loved it! Working with the team was easy, they were very communicative and accommodating when asking for tours or to do venue walk through with our day-of coordinator. We had our entire wedding - ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - all in the space which was easy to transform from setting to setting. It also provided great photos in the area as well as an added bonus. The venue has 2 bridal suites we used to get ready in as well, which worked perfectly! Would highly recommend this space to give your wedding a WOW factor!

The perfect place for our wedding. Everyone can't stop talking about how great the venue was!

We got this venue last minute, by a chance of luck. There are no incredible views or anything, but the place is beautiful in itself. I worked mostly with Lauren & Adam in figuring out how to plan at this a la carte venue. They were helpful! They are great about contracts, payments, and returning security deposits.

26Bridge is an absolutely amazing space. The Room has a great "Old Charm" with the modern touches one would want. Chris who runs the space could not have been any nicer to deal with. We had several meetings with him, the caterers, the band, and the lighting guy at the space and it was no problem. We had so many compliments on the space from our families and guests. (We have been to 50 weddings of NYC locals and allot of those people were there and couldn't believe it was in BK.)
We had around 300 guests for a passed food reception and there was plenty of room. We had several tables on each side for the older guests. There was ample space for the band, another bar, and an entire setup of tents and food tables we had against the east wall. There is also a small upstairs where we had the DJ and kept our stuff.
The is an additional downstairs were the wedding party, the band, and the bagpipers had plenty of room for all of there belongings. The caterers loved the space as well with the large prep area.
The area was perfect for some nice pictures of us as well.
We were so glad we found 26Bridge, you will be too!

We got married last month at 26 Bridge and could not be happier with how everything went. The room is stunning, with tons of natural light from the enormous skylights and lots of exposed brick, beams and lovely light fixtures. The bar area is fantastic and our guests loved hanging out there. The kitchen is HUGE and our caterer loved working there. It's a big difference from other venues in the area. There's a huge lower level too, which was great for us to have for storage and hang out before the wedding started. Chris and his team were great to work with, responsive and professional. Although they said the space seats 225, we had about 135 at our wedding and it felt perfect. It would likely be very crowded at 200 people, especially if you want room for a dance floor. Price is somewhat high, but is in line with other similar venues in the area and you can use their tables and chairs, which saves you a bit on your rentals. We loved our wedding there and wish we could do it again.
