We are so happy, the wedding was a whirlwind but the day went as smoothly as possible, and your team helped keep the train on the tracks whenever we had any issues arise.
We are both extroverted, and me as an individual I am very organized and a huge planner and type A person. Tom, my husband is more go with the flow out of the two of us, but has a great eye and knows how to throw an incredible party.
We got married at the Greenhouse at Driftwood, Harper and her team are excellent.
3 of Cups was so helpful with having our vision come together, upon first meeting with Jess and team I told her I was a super planner but the weekend of my wedding I just wanted to kick back and enjoy and celebrate with my husband. Once the wedding weekend was here that was the case, we both were able to feel like guests of honor for our day.
They were very communicative, we had a terrible occurence happen where our cater, Royal Fig went out of business with no plan in place to help us or replace our catering contract with a new team. Jess immediately met with us, and sourced new vendors the same week, she was with us every step of the way, even going above and beyond assisting with the new tasting with our new caterer, Hanks (who was also incredible).
The pre-planning set expectations for how Jess' team and us as a couple can work best with us week of and day of
They kept us on track with finalizing our day-of and week-of schedule, Jess had the day detailed down to 15 minute increments.
Yes, most definitely, their preferred vendor list helped us curate a wonderful vision and day.
How was the Day Of your wedding?
Watching our vision come to life, being able to overlook and watch the tent, the florals, the lighting, etc. get set up and put together as we got ready was magical. We were able to fully trust Jess and her team and sit back and enjoy.
Jessica, Sarah, and Taylor were the magic behind the day. Katrina was there for our rehearsal and curated a seamless hand off from our perspective.
If you are a great planner, and need a great partner who is a true expert in this space, 3 of Cups is the team for you, and if you are NOT a planner, 3 of Cups is the team for you. They meet you exactly where you are and take you to where you want to go. We feel so lucky to have worked with such a fantastic team.
My husband and I got married in April 2024, and we could not have planned a successful wedding without the help of 3 of Cups. Jessica is possibly the most organized person I’ve ever met (wait until you see her excel spreadsheets!), and she was always focused on the tiniest details to ensure our big day ran smoothly. She was extremely knowledgeable about our venue and local vendors and gave great tips on how to cut costs without sacrificing the important needs and wants of our wedding. The 6-hour package suited our needs well, and her day-of coordinating team were friendly and professional, even going so far as to capture videos of our private last dance which was incredibly thoughtful. Her husband George was also a fantastic DJ! Couldn’t recommend this team enough. Thank you so much 3 of Cups!
I was initially hesitant about hiring coordination for our wedding and am now so so thankful we did. Working with Jessica and her team could not have been more helpful or necessary!! Having a POC throughout the planning process to help with the details (and even knowing what details we need to consider are) in addition to day of coordination made the planning process so much easier. The day of the wedding Jessica was there with two of her assistants, who helped with everything from décor set-up, ceremony details, timing of the event, and everything in between. Overall, the wedding went so smoothly and exceeded our expectations and all credit goes to Jessica and her team!
I’m a PhD student so hiring a planner/coordinator to help me was a MUST. Jessica and her team were my saving graces through the entire wedding planning process. I’m a sucker for spreadsheets and her organizational style for planning made it easy to visualize how our timeline, ceremony space, & reception space would look. On the day of the wedding, I was at ease because I knew that everything would be taken care of. Her team was able to create the reception space of my dreams. It was like she took the conversation we had about what I wanted and pulled the image right out of my brain. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner DO IT, you won’t regret it. Especially if you hire 3 of Cups Events!
Jessica and her team were absolutely essential in helping us plan our wedding. We were working with a tricky venue and planning from out of state...there was no way we could have done it without her. Every meeting we had was meticulously planned ahead of time to maximize efficiency and ensure we got what we needed. On top of that, Jessica was just a super fun and great person to work with. She made sure that on the day of, all we had to do was enjoy and make some memories. Definitely recommend!!
3 of Cups did a great job providing day-of coordination and planning services for our wedding! Thanks to 3 of Cups, we had a great time at our wedding and had a bunch of guests tell us how much they enjoyed event as well. We really enjoyed working with the 3 of Cups team, especially Sarah on the day-of, and appreciate all their assistance in making the event run smoothly and stress-free!
If you are looking for a world-class, organized and supportive wedding coordinator, 3 of Cups is our recommendation. We searched for someone who could help build out our timeline while also ensuring everything runs smoothly. The moment we spoke to Jessica at 3 of Cups we knew we had to hire her for our day of coordinator. The first thing that grabbed our attention about Jessica was the way she navigated through her process (Google Docs expert, navigating tabs to illustrate her point of view and having answers before we knew we had the questions ). We normally consider ourselves to be pretty self-sufficient when it comes to planning parties and events, but we knew we couldn’t do it all. We needed someone to help with the day of logistics. Jessica is truly a delight to get to know as a person. She made the process fun, put our minds to ease when we had doubts or concerns about how to do certain things and understood exactly the vibe we were going for. Throughout the process she offered advice but also was willing to listen to our suggestions. So happy we had Jessica’s expertise and personal touch to make our wedding day that much more perfect.
My husband and I had the most incredible experience working with Jessica and her team for our wedding planning journey. Coming from different cultural backgrounds, we knew combining our families' traditions would be an interesting endeavor, but Jessica and her staff handled it with such grace and skill that it made everything incredibly easy for us.
From the moment we met Jessica, we knew we were in good hands. Her attention to detail and passion for her work were evident from the start, and she went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our special day was perfect. Her expertise and guidance were invaluable throughout the planning process, and she was always available to answer any questions or address any concerns we had.
One of the highlights of our wedding was having Jessica's husband as our DJ. He did an amazing job of keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. His professionalism and talent were truly exceptional, and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our celebration.
In fact, we were so impressed with Jessica's work that we recommended her to my best friend, who also enlisted her services for her wedding. Once again, Jessica exceeded all expectations and created a beautiful and unforgettable day for my friend and her now-husband.
Overall, I cannot recommend Jessica and her team highly enough. Their dedication, creativity, and attention to detail are unmatched, and they truly made our wedding day a dream come true. Thank you, Jessica, for everything!
5 stars are not enough to explain how wonderful this team is! I felt like Jessica was my best friend by the end of it. On the day of the wedding, she was the most calming presence, took charge gracefully, and did it with kindness and humor. She is so talented at what she does - from her vision to her organization skills. She never made me feel like my budget was too little and did everything in her power to make my dreams come true. My wedding was a copy and paste from my Pinterest board because of her. Her day of coordinators were also fabulous! Her husband was also my DJ and he was so talented and fun! Can not recommend enough.
We used 3 of Cups for day of coordination, which included three planning meetings leading up to the event, for my daughter’s wedding. Jessica is extremely organized, and her planning tools are excellent. Audrey was the lead coordinator for the wedding. She made sure everything flowed as planned and was great to work with. As mother of the bride, I was able to relax and enjoy the day knowing that they had everything well under control. I highly recommend this team!
My husband and I got married in Austin, Texas at the Allan House in mid-February of 2023. We worked with Jessica and Audrey and purchased both day-of coordination and ~12-15 hours of additional planning support, and would absolutely do it again! We chose to work with Jessica because we loved her energy, honesty and integrity - it was clear from our first call that she cares deeply about her clients and knows the Austin wedding scene inside and out.
We hired her with ~8 months to go in our wedding timeline, and Jessica immediately sent us spreadsheets upon spreadsheets of helpful information - to-do checklists organized by dates, recommended timelines and recommended vendors, just to name a few. Audrey helped us source vendors and was a joy to work with - she was responsive to feedback, understood my (disjointed) vision immediately and was incredibly communicative. We ultimately chose to work with many vendors 3 of Cups recommended (photography, music, décor, floral) and they were all amazing, within budget and the perfect fit for our style. We had several check-ins with Jessica that were also incredibly helpful in keeping us organized, sane, and on-track; as an out-of-Texas resident, I was planning mostly through Zoom with a few in-person visits, and Jessica was very flexible with my schedule throughout planning as well!
The day-of our wedding was incredibly smooth - Jessica and her team were amazing in keeping everything moving and checking in on my husband and I throughout the night (which was so thoughtful - thank you!). We are so happy we chose 3 of Cups and had the chance to work with Jessica for our day!!
Jessica, Audrey, and the 3 of Cups team helped me plan the wedding from start to finish and bring all my ideas to life! I had no idea where to start when it came to wedding planning and Jessica really helped me understand how to plan and I always felt so much better after our calls. She gave me a lot of confidence and her layout used to assist with the process is extremely helpful! I planned my wedding as I travelled for work (3 different states!) and Jessica kept me on track. On the day of the wedding, Audrey was extremely kind and really made the entire day completely stress free. She was detail oriented but could go with the flow as needed (it rained in the morning on my wedding day). I am more reserved and was a bit nervous on my wedding day but having Audrey there helped me immensely. The 3 of Cups team is such a positive and talented group of women and I feel so lucky to have booked with them for the best day of my life!
We loved working with Jessica and the 3 of Cups team. I didn’t have a ton of time to dedicate to wedding planning, and knew we’d want a lot of support so we went with the 3 of Cups package (18 hrs of planning time). After every meeting with Jessica I felt less stressed and more on track. Virtually every vendor we booked was based on Jessica’s suggestion - her knowledge of vendors in the area took away the decision fatigue we definitely would have experienced otherwise. She was also able to weigh in on what was worth a splurge vs where she’d recommend we save based on our priorities. An example - Jessica joined us at our rentals meeting (and we had a lot of rentals!) She not only helped navigate the design decisions but seamlessly ordered the right quantities and sizes of everything - something we 1000% would have messed up (and probably spent way too much on) if left on our own :)
We worked with Audrey as our day of coordinator and she was incredible as well. We felt so at ease after our final walkthrough and knew every detail was covered. On the day Audrey effortlessly navigated our families and made sure we were informed of changes but not burdened by them - she took care of everything!!
We also worked with 3 of Cups Sound and Light and loved George as well - our dance party was SO fun!
Highly recommend 3 of cups for your planning and coordination needs! We opted for the smallest package as our booked venue included a lot of things. Jessica helped keep us on track with deadlines, created a stellar detailed timeline for the day, and provided great insights during our walkthrough. You can 100% count on Jessica to give you honest feedback and advice backed by tons of experience! Audrey was our lead day-of coordinator and she is a rockstar! Kept our day moving smoothly and thought of anything extra we could possibly use.
We also used 3 of Cups Sound & Lighting and highly recommend! George was an awesome DJ -- kept the party going & upbeat! Our friends & family had a blast.
If you are planning a wedding, Jessica should be right at the top of your list. Jessica was a lioness as our day of coordinator. Brilliant, fun, & lovely to be around. She helped us navigate a chaotic vendor switch and structure a stacked timeline for everything we wanted to achieve for our wedding (grand entrances, drag queen performances, outfit changes on top of everything else!) .
Her knowledge of the Austin wedding vendor community is amazing as well - she recommended the caterer that impressed every one of our guests.
She was an amazing partner on our event and we couldn't recommend her more.
We had an amazing experience with Jessica and her team at 3 of Cups as our day-of coordinators! When my husband and I first got engaged, we set out to find a day-of coordinator who could also help us make sure that we’d thought everything through in the late stages of wedding planning. 3 of Cups and their 3⁄4 Cup Package was a great fit for what we were looking for. Right off the bat, Jessica sent us resources for planning and set up a collaborative Google Sheet that helped guide our planning, which was super helpful. Our meetings with her were really efficient: we felt like we always had enough time to go through our list of questions, as well as Jessica’s list of reminders, if she had any. It was also extremely helpful to do a venue walkthrough with Jessica. She helped us visualize and run through the wedding day timeline, which got us thinking about any details or loose ends we had missed.
Thanks to 3 of Cups’ approach and all the level of detail, the wedding day went so smoothly! We had Jessica as our Lead Day-Of Coordinator and Shannon as our Assistant Coordinator. They were AWESOME. They made us feel so at ease all day and night. We honestly wouldn’t be able to tell you if anything went wrong that day, because if it did, we never noticed it… Jessica and Shannon were right on point. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend 3 of Cups because of how thorough, organized, and experienced Jessica and her team are.
Relatedly, we also went with 3 of Cups for our Sound and Equipment services, which was an absolutely excellent decision. George was amazing as our DJ/Sound Engineer -- he brought and setup all the equipment he needed, and he did an awesome job picking songs out of the playlists we made based on party vibes.
Just all in all, 3 of Cups absolutely killed it, and we would recommend them in a heartbeat!
We had a great experience with 3 of Cups. Our wedding was at Umlauf and 3 of Cups was a preferred vendor. As a side note - strongly recommend booking your wedding planner early, ideally before anything else. A good planner will provide you with lots of great vendor options in your price range (which is what Jessica provided us.) Planning a wedding was one of the biggest and most overwhelming projects my wife and I have worked on. Jessica had the entire thing visualized from the get go and gave us options along the way. She gave us a crash course and after our second meeting we could picture the whole event playing out in our minds start to finish. Our day-of coordinators were truly excellent (shout out to Ari and Sophie!) They knew the venue well and things went off totally smoothly. I don’t think they missed or forgot a single thing. Would definitely say 3 of Cups delivered.
There is not enough good things I could say about Jessica and her team. We chose her as our day-of-coordinator and even though she had never worked the venue before, she took the time to get to know the layout to make our wedding day the best day ever. On the day of our wedding, everything went so smoothly. Her team set up the venue exactly how we envisioned it and there were no issues thanks to her organization and her team. She is super easy to work with, became a friend to both of us, and was extremely professional with us and all the vendors. My husband and I keep reflecting on how we are so thankful we chose 3 of Cups for our wedding. We loved having her as our day-of-coordinator and cannot recommend her enough!
I opted to go for the 2 of cups package. The concept of hours of work as hard for me to grasp at first, but I did learn to work with it as time went along. Jessica and Audrey were great helping me focus my planning (her spreadsheets are epic) and soothing my anxiety.
Audrey was my day of and was heavily involved in my planning as well, and she did an amazing job as the day of coordinator. Everyone commented how beautiful the wedding was and how smoothly it ran. They are a great value and very kind people- would definitely recommend them!
Jessica and her 3 of Cups Team were coordinators for our wedding at Umlauf Sculpture Garden in Austin, TX on 4.2.22. We booked Jessica for day-of coordination and 6 planning hours, and it was the best $ we've ever spent. Umlauf poses particular challenges in that the vendors can't set up until 4pm, and there is an amplified noise cut off at 10pm. Jessica and her team helped plan and execute an swift timeline that allowed us to cruise through photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and cake cutting so that we could have ample time dancing and just enjoying the evening. Any logistical snags that occurred were not evident to me :). She also helped us massively with event and dinner layout, templates and to-do's, and her wide-thinking of various options and scenarios. We are so appreciative that we were able to spend our wedding day enjoying the moment and dancing with friends.
Jessica and the 3 of Cups team provided us with so much help in planning our wedding! She was the perfect day of coordinator, who made sure everything ran smoothly. Additionally, she was professional, fun to work with, and always made it a point to answer any question we had leading up to the big day!
Jessica, Lauren, and Dasha were incredible to work with! My husband and I hired Jessica after she was recommended to us by a friend who wished she could have hired her for her Austin wedding. I am a type A personality and my husband is the easiest going guy, albeit he comes off aloof at times. Jessica was able to help bridge the gap for us a few times over details that we probably would have spent hours debating over. We ended up purchasing 6 additional hours of planning time leading up to our wedding day and it was the perfect amount of time in my opinion. Jessica was so helpful in getting our thoughts organized and laying out the timeline for our wedding day in excruciating detail (and by excruciating I mean in a way that made my type A heart sing!). I should also mention that nothing fazes Jessica and she is as cool as a cucumber like my husband. Lauren our DOC, and Dasha her assistant were incredible. They made sure everything ran smoothly and were so thoughtful and wonderful throughout the night. Lauren even got down on the floor and helped bustle my disaster of a french bustle that was of course just being very difficult after couple's photos. It was just a really wonderful experience overall, and I cannot recommend their services enough!
3 of Cups did planning, day-of coordination, and in-house sound engineering for our wedding. We had stumbled upon 3 of Cups after we chose our venue, Sanctuary yoga, since they had frequently done coordination for weddings there. This was important to us due to the challenging (but beautiful!) venue layout, which has a terraced landscape with multiple level changes. After this entire process, I can say we would have been so lost without Jessica and her amazing team. Our wedding went off without a hitch which is a testament to their thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and ability to get sh*t done!
Jessica is organized, efficient, and super detail oriented. She is professional and gets right to it, but is also really friendly so all the “work time” felt easy! She accomplished so much in our 6 hours of planning time and helped us anticipate potential issues ahead of time, put together the most in-depth excel spreadsheets, and advised us on everything: site layout, logistics, timing, ceremony, etc. She's amazing.
Lee was our day-of coordinator who was on site from about 3 until the end of the event. She was fantastic! She organized all the moving parts in such a seamless way that we had nothing to worry about and we could just relax and enjoy. She made it seem effortless but I know that’s only because she was on the ball the entire time! Her assistant Audrey was great as well, and the two of them were a huge help throughout the event (including the end where it can get chaotic to pack and load out). I cannot tell you how nice it was to take a moment after the ceremony and relax with snacks that they had set aside for us. Lee and Audrey were so thoughtful and attentive; we were so grateful to have their help!
On sound, George was also awesome! He was communicative and easy to work with during the process. The timing of the ceremony music was great, we had no tech issues during the event and everything went smoothly the entire evening. His lights and DJ set up also provided a great ambiance in the dance studio – the dance floor was lively all evening! We made our own playlist and put the songs in order ourselves because we preferred to, but he was happy to be as involved as we wanted him to be, which is awesome! Music was important to us, and we appreciated his flexibility, collaboration, and professionalism.
We 100% recommend the 3 of Cups team and wouldn’t change a thing if we were to do it all again! They’re the best! You should stop reading and hire them.
I had no idea where to even start for planning my wedding especially since we were having a six month engagement. Jessica of 3 Cups was my savior! I actually contacted her when we were thinking of doing a different venue, and she helped us pick a better one. I loved the flexible options for the amount of coordination you want, and her detailed checklists helped me know what all needed to be done. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement, she recommended the perfect makeup artist, helped us with rentals and even arranged for her husband to be our last minute audio/music. Jessica is awesome and I'm glad I chose her company to ensure my wedding day was perfect.
Jessica was amazing! She was so on top of all the details, which made planning a wedding from 1500 miles away so much easier. Her collaborative google doc made organization and communication easy, and her packages were flexible for when we needed additional planning time at the end. Jessica knew a ton of vendors, what vendors would be able to offer and what we would need, how things would work the day of, etc. We felt so at ease the week of the wedding knowing all the prep and communication that went into everything. Our day of coordinator Sara was super on top of things, and we got to spend the whole wedding with our guests having fun!
Jessica is an intuitive wedding coordinator who got to know us personally and connected us with incredible vendors that matched our sense of style, personality, and budget.
We had our wedding, reception, and plated dinner party at Mercury Hall in June 2021.
We a lot of fun working with her and appreciated her good sense of humor and overall positivity -- especially during this past year!
Jess helped us pull together the day of our dreams and was even so kind as to let me borrow her clogs during sunset photos when my feet needed a break. Clogs for the after-party will definitely be a new family tradition.
Thank you, Jess! <3
Jessica was an absolute life-saver! From the moment we hired her as our coordinator, she made my husband and I feel comfortable and assured us our day would go smoothly. And so it did! When it came time for day-of, I got to experience my dream wedding due to her organization and command of the event. She even took the time to schedule in small moments and details that allowed us to make the most of our day-like giving my husband and I some alone time after the ceremony, and ensuring our food and drinks were served to us so we got a chance to eat! I was so lucky to work with Jessica and would recommend her to any bride!
OH! I also used 3 of Cups DJ services. Jessica's husband dj'ed for us and was always right on cue and made our dance party a blast! We were able to personalize our entire playlist and music cues, and it made our special day even more unique to us.
Jessica is amazing! We hit it off right off the bat. The planning meetings we had were great for us to get a game plan going and get everything we needed together before the wedding. We had initially decided to get married in April 2020, but then Covid hit and everything changed. We postponed our wedding, and then postponed again to May 2021 and Jessica couldn't have been more understanding and accommodating throughout it all. I was an emotional wreck, but Jessica's energy and positive attitude was so great. She's an angel! We had planned for an outdoor wedding and the forecast for the day was looking bleak, but Jessica told us not to worry about it and said we could wait to change the layout until a few hours before. I was SO GLAD because literally hours before the ceremony it cleared up and we had the wedding that we had hoped for! It was perfect! And everything went seamlessly thanks to Jessica!
If you’re questioning if you should hire a wedding planner…the answer is YES! As a type-A person, I was prepared to do most of the planning solo, until I started actually planning! Hiring Jessica and the 3 of Cups team saved me so much time, stress and helped me bring my vision to life. Also, I loved how they were mindful of my desired level of involvement and budget in selecting the best package.
Since we aren’t located in TX, having a planner with so many connections and insight into the Austin wedding sense legit saved me hours of online research! I appreciated how flexible Jessica was in guiding us through the process without totally taking over. Her style allowed us to think outside the box and not get too caught up in the details and anxiety. Having the 3 of Cups allowed us to enjoy the process of being engaged, not just focus on the wedding!
During our wedding weekend, I loved how Jessica and the team made sure we got to enjoy all the energy we put into the planning process. My husband and I were able to relax (get drunk) and not worry about A THING! Jessica put our fires we didn’t even know existed while making sure we felt like rockstars!
I truly do not have the words to describe how amazing Jessica Ryan from 3 of Cups Weddings is. My story is probably a little different from the other reviews here. I didn't hire Jessica and 3 of Cups initially. I had hired a different wedding planner, who unfortunately, was unable to complete the contracted service due to COVID-19. I was referred to Jessica after the initial planner let me know she would be shuttering her business less than two months before my wedding. My immediate reaction wasn't great. I was stressed and frustrated. But then entered Jessica and all was forgotten.
I wish I had hired Jessica from the beginning. She went above and beyond for me when she didn't have to. She agreed to alter her contract to meet all of my needs which wasn't required of her. We had countless meetings to make sure every detail was thought of and planned out. For jumping right into a wedding she didn't miss a beat.
Her excel spreadsheets were a lifesaver. What seemed daunting at first to complete, ended up being the reason why my wedding day ran so smoothly. Jessica is so detail oriented that in the moment it can seem like.. "Really? Do we really need to write that down." And the answer is yes, yes you do. There's a method behind her Type A madness. Jessica was assertive and efficient which is necessary when dealing with lots of family members taking photos and wanting to congratulate the married couple. She wasn't worried about being seen as "nice" which is honestly necessary when you're dealing with so many moving parts. However, she treated all of the wedding party, guests, and vendors with respect while still getting sh*t done.
I'm fairly controlling and was initially nervous about the thought of releasing the reins. All of those concerns were eased after our first meeting. I can look back on my wedding day and say with confidence that the reason my day ran so smoothly is because Jessica had already thought of everything. I was able to relax and fully lean into being the bride who was being told where I needed to be and when. For this, I am eternally grateful for Jessica and 3 of Cups Wedding. She made my day exceptional and my only regret is that I won't have another wedding for her to plan. Thank you Jessica!
I hired Jessica as my month-of coordinator after having to postpone my wedding and loosing my original planner because of COVID-19 (just a scheduling conflict, the other planner is fine.) Jessica offered creative suggestions on how to adapt my original plan for 140 guests down to a safe small 30 guest outdoor socially distanced wedding. But her biggest hero moment, was when I received an email from the venue on the morning of my wedding saying they might have to cancel the event because of new restrictions in place. She jumped on calls to my venue and vendors to figure it all out. I'm actually an event planner and pride myself in being super cool calm and collected through all the surprises, but that email nearly broke me. When Jessica called and said, "Girl, everyone's on board, we've worked it out, and you're going to have a great wedding today!" I almost cried with relief. Haha! Everything ran super smoothly and I didn't worry about a thing after that scare. All that said, please don't hesitate to hire 3 of Cups. Jessica and her team not only know what they're doing, but she was a joy to work with and super supportive through a very stressful time.
I literally couldn't have planned my wedding without Jessica's help. She helped me plan my big day even if I lived 3 hours away from the location. 3 of Cups kept me on track, helped me pick vendors, and all the big stressors of a wedding day. I'd highly recommend to anyone in the Austin area planning a wedding, regardless of your organization skills!
My husband and I were married in April of 2019 at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden. When we were looking for a coordinator, we knew that the main challenges we faced with our wedding planning process were 1. We don’t live in Texas and 2. Our venue has a limited set-up window day-of. In addition to having experience with weddings at our venue, it was also important to us that our coordinator be creative, open-minded and detail-oriented. My husband and I are both trained as architects and we treated wedding planning like a design project. The most successful projects are the ones where your consultants / vendors are like-minded collaborators rather than just “hired guns” and 3 of Cups was the perfect match for us in this respect.
Jessica gave us room to be creative while helping us set realistic expectations for our ideas. She came up with the idea to do a tortilla toss for our exit since we had tacos at our dinner reception, which everyone loved! We also utilized 3 of Cups Floral + Design services, who completely knocked it out of the park with their gorgeous arrangements (probably still my favorite aspect of our wedding - shoutout to Coley who did all this while pregnant with TWINS). We used the 3 of Cups sound engineer and then added on a professional DJ for the dancing, an option which helped save us some cash and allowed us to be in control of our dinner and cocktail hour music.
Jessica’s flexible tiered packages worked out great for us and she was always conscious of our budget. Her collaborative remote planning sessions were incredibly efficient and FUN! Having a shared Google Doc was perfect for keeping everyone connected and accountable even from afar. I always breathed a sign of relief whenever we hung up the phone at the end of a session because I knew we were in good hands. Day of, Jessica had all the vendors in position at the starting line to set up in the allotted time. I really appreciated that she made sure my husband and I had a moment to ourselves to be alone and stuff our faces with QUESO (did you know you need queso at your wedding? You do.) The 3 of Cups team handled all of our details beautifully, following our obsessive architectural diagrams and problem-solved on the spot gracefully. Jessica was also wonderful with all our family - my dad to this day talks about how great she is whenever we talk about wedding day memories. She is an absolute joy to work with and I would recommend 3 of Cups to everyone.
My fiancé and I were planning to have our wedding in May 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we ended up having to cancel and will now be having an elopement instead. However, I still wanted to write a review for Jessica because she was absolutely amazing during the planning process and I know she would have given us the most beautiful wedding!
We were planning a small, family-only gathering, so I was initially on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, especially since I have prior experience in event planning. But I knew right after meeting Jessica at our first consultation that it was the absolute right decision and that she was a perfect fit for us. She is so personable and easy to talk to, and was so supportive of our plans and ideas. I loved that she offered an hourly package that was flexible and would let me to do most of the up-front work, while she would be in charge on the day of the wedding, taking the pressure off of me. It was the perfect option for us. Our first meeting and then follow-up phone calls and venue meeting were so much fun and so productive! I was so amazed at how quickly she took my jumbled ideas and put them together into a beautiful vision. I couldn’t wait to see how it would all come together on the day of our wedding.
Making the decision to cancel our wedding was a hard one, but it is the right decision for us to get married on our planned wedding day. I will be taking the inspiration and ideas that Jessica gave me to add some small touches to my elopement that will make it very special and memorable. I would absolutely recommend Jessica to any bride who is looking for a wedding planner. She will listen to your ideas and then turn it into something so magical! I hope to work with her in some capacity in the future. Thank you, Jessica!
My husband Michael and I got married in October 2019 at the Sanctuary. We wanted everything about our wedding to feel personal, like a representation of us and our love. On top of that, we wanted the process to be fun and enjoyable. And lastly, we really wanted to feel like we were getting the biggest bang for our buck. I feel like we accomplished all of these things and so much more! 3 of Cups was instrumental in ensuring that we chose vendors that provided high quality services at affordable prices -- from the food, to the DJ, to the rentals, to the lighting, we truly had the best quality without breaking the bank. Jess from 3 of Cups also did a wonderful job guiding us through the planning process and making sure we thought about all of the little details. On the day of the wedding, she was a breath of fresh air amidst the inevitable nerves. Jess is fun, easygoing, stylish, personable, and organized. She has become one of our closest friends. We absolutely loved our wedding day and wouldn't have changed a thing. I can't recommend the 3 of Cups team more!
Mel and Matt
We got married in September 2019. After an extensive search we decided to host our wedding at Springdale Station. We knew as soon as we stepped foot in there, that this was our place. The venue’s atmosphere and style is absolutely beautiful. Moya and her team are super sweet and helpful. I totally recommend Springdale Station for any type of event.
I was not sure if we should hire a coordinator because we were trying to be mindful of our budget but, I can honestly say, this is one of the MOST important and valuable items you MUST get for your wedding.
1- husband
2- dress
3- Coordinator.
4- venue and food/alcohol
5- Etc.
We realized this during the very first meeting with Jessica.
Even before hiring her, we met one day just to get to know each other, Matt and I said: YES this is happening, she is a total Badass Boss who will get stuff done and done nicely, beautifully, always with her contagious smile and positive attitude.
When you meet with her she does not waste time, she means business and she makes it fun. We hated every second of our planning until we met her.
Her experience showed through immediately. she’s always 5 steps ahead of you. If you’re missing any vendors (doesn’t matter what for) don’t you worry, She has them all!
She’s quick, responsive and again, super positive so if you’re frustrated or overwhelmed she will make it super simple for you to follow through the process.
Our wedding day was honestly the happiest day of my life. It was soooooo easy. I really have no idea of what happened behind the scenes. If there were any issues She was on it. Most of which I’m still not aware of(omg, thank you).
I had the most easy and exciting day/event in my life. That’s all because of Jessica. I’m sure there was stuff going on but I had no idea.
She really is the best. On top of it, Handling an event and not look like you’re freaking out is hard....... well, not for her, She looked like she was having fun which is AMAZING.
I can not recommend 3 of cups more. I love you Jessica! You are a huge part of the best day of my life and I/We thank you for it!
My husband I got married this past December at the Wild Onion Ranch in Austin (a gorgeous venue, for those still on the hunt for the right place!) and I just cannot imagine how we could have pulled off such a fun and relaxed celebration without Jessica. We also loved Ash, her assistant. The day-of, they were both incredibly kind and everything ran super smoothly. Jessica's husband, George, is also just wonderful, and he was our sound designer through the whole evening.
We chose the "1 of Cups" package, which included 6 hours of meeting time with Jessica before the actual event -- this is where we really discussed our vision and Jessica helped us put all the pieces together, from connecting us with vendors she thought would match our style (like Stephanie Rogers Photograpahy <3 <3 <3), to figuring out the timing of all the parts of the wedding day, to the smallest of of details, like what kind of linens we would need for the tables the venue had and what our plan B was if it happened to rain the day-of (it didn't, but it would have been fine if it did!)
I should also mention that the venue walk-through (included in all of Jess's packages) is amazing. That is, she really sees the flow of the evening, and offers such valuable feedback in terms of where to place things (like the dessert area) , where people should go for cocktail hour and the like, and also where you will literally tie the knot! A lot of venues have many different options for everything, and Jessica will definitely give you tips and direction as you are figuring the details. I am *very* thankful she recommended doing a sweetheart table during dinner, so that my hubby and I actually got some time to sit down, get a bite, and take in all our amazing friends and family who had come out to celebrate with us.
Another essential thing is that Jess helps to manage your vendors. That is, she knows their contracts and checks in with them to know what they are responsible for during the event. That way, every vendor has a point-person and at the end of your big day, you know who is cleaning up and leaving the venue spick and span!
Besides being so dang good at giving us the info we needed to make our stylistic decisions for the day, Jess was also great when we just needed to talk something over (like when I was trying to figure out when exactly we were going to fit playing a Russian wedding game that my mom really really wanted us to play into the busy evening, haha).
Jessica's planning spreadsheets (which we completed between our meetings with her) kept us on track, her communication was always timely, and she is just a joy to be around! She chilled with us and our family and friends at the rehearsal dinner and we sincerely enjoyed her presence.
I would highly recommend working with Jess and her team!
My partner and I both work in the non-profit/government sector, so we were working with a comparatively smaller budget. I was worried about finding a wedding coordinator we could afford. Jessica's flexible tiered packages worked great for us!
Both my partner and I were looking to have as low-stress an experience as possible. Jessica helped us stay organized, provided help on a lot of the messy detail work (like layouts and linen sizes), and went the extra mile on the day of to make sure that I didn't have to think about any of the details on my wedding day.
We had 3 pre-wedding prep sessions with Jessica, which helped me think about details I didn't know to think about, make sure all contract requirements were met for our vendors, and carved out some time for my partner and I to spend together on the day of.
Jessica's assistant, Lee, was also great to work with on the day of. She made me feel special and cared for a lot of our personal needs (getting snacks/drinks, holding things, telling us where to stand), which I so appreciated.
I would, without a doubt, recommend 3 of Cups!
If you are thinking about hiring Jessica and her amazing team at 3 of Cups: just do it. I wish I had hired her from the get-go. I hired her for final touches and day-of coordinating about three months out from my wedding date. Even in our first phone call, I felt like I was in good hands; Jessica is knowledgeable, organized, and a calming presence. After meeting us, Jessica made sure to understand not just what we wanted for the wedding, but also how we are as individuals and made suggestions accordingly. She brought up items for us to consider and look into that we never even knew we needed.
Additionally, I am beyond impressed with her network and relationships with other vendors in the area. She had worked with nearly everyone we hired, and on top of that, her referrals to other vendors we needed were spot-on. On the day of, Jessica and her partner Dasha were incredible -- if anything went wrong during our day, I have no idea what it was, but I know that it seemed perfect. 3 of Cups was absolutely a game changer for our wedding, and I know that it would not have been as smooth, stress-free, or perfect without them.
Lauren and I got married this past November and were planning on having a lot of guests from out of town. We wanted our wedding to be a unique and very “Austin” experience for those spending the time, effort, and money to travel to this special event. 3 of Cups was recommended by a friend and, looking back, we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Jessica was fantastic at making sense of all our chaotic and sometimes crazy ideas in our initial meetings. We were given a Google planning document that had everything we needed to organize everything from the guest list to the vendors. And speaking of vendors, I can’t emphasize enough how valuable 3 of Cups was in this department. In addition to the wedding itself, we planned a separate welcome party the night before. Although this wasn’t really part of the deal, Jessica’s suggestions for catering companies proved to be a perfect fit. 3 of Cups is very well-connected in the Austin scene and has a plethora of excellent choices for vendors. Her guidance and planning were absolutely crucial to the success of the entire weekend. We could not have done It without her!
We chose Star Hill Ranch as our venue and couldn’t be happier with that choice. The owner, Matt Wooley was more than helpful and ended up saving us a good amount of money which allowed us to put more into areas that we felt were important. Between 3 of Cups and the staff at Star Hill Ranch, we felt confident that we were well taken care of and were going to have a wonderful weekend.
We had initially decided to use Star Hill’s on-site coordinator for the “day of” events but later decided to have 3 of Cups there too. However, by then Jessica was already booked elsewhere. Luckily she was able to send Sioux, one of the 3 of Cups staff members in her stead. Sioux did a fantastic job making sure everything went perfect during the wedding and reception. She was also very pleasant and had a really good time which showed to me her ability to coordinate a rather complex and detailed event with ease. I would HIGHLY recommend both 3 of Cups and Star Hill Ranch for your next wedding or event. Both are not only top notch professionals, they’re also just “good people”.
Going with 3 of Cups was one of the best decisions my husband and I made with our wedding. Jessica's organization, professionalism, and laid-back vibe instantly made us feel like we were in good hands. With both of us working in education, budget was something for us to be mindful of throughout planning. Jessica was able to point us in the direction of some amazing vendors within our price range that she had already had positive experiences working with in the pasy. We felt like we were so supportive and understood after all three of our (extremely productive!) pre-wedding meetings. Aside from obviously helping us with day-of details (i.e., schedule, vendors, decor), Jessica also helped put my anxiety at ease whenever I got stressed out by the wonderful world of wedding planning/drama. On our actual wedding day, my husband and I were both blown away by how smoothly everything went and how well Jessica and her assistant kept the show running. It was wild watching this insanely detailed Google doc we had created with 3 of Cups come to life. We also utilized 3 of Cups sound engineering services and it was amazing. We were able to plan our own playlists for the entire wedding, which was something that was important to me from the very beginning, and George (the sound engineer and Jessica's husband) did a great job at making everything sound seamless and sticking to our musical taste there were gaps to fill. He was also super sweet and professional, which came as no surprise after working with Jessica. Overall, we could not be happier with 3 of Cups and would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married in the Austin area. Honestly, I'm eager for any of my Austin friends to get engaged just so I can recommend 3 of Cups.
5 stars!! Hiring the team at 3 of Cups was the greatest gift we didn’t know we needed. Being an overly organized & meticulous person, I believed I could manage the execution of our event with the help of a few friends and family members. Add in the unexpected (yet expected) wedding drama and we were forced to change venues a few months before our big day and one of the requirements of our new venue was that we have an official event planner or day of coordinator on-site the day of.
After reaching out to several different coordinators I instantly knew 3 of Cups would be our pick the moment I saw Jessica’s smiling face on their website. During our first meeting, I cried a lot (wedding drama) and she listened to me with compassion and immediately began offering solutions & support.
It was important to me that I had control of the design, details & overall planning of our wedding. It was an experience that I wanted to have and lessons that I wanted to learn, both the easy & the hard way. Jessica let me do my thing, right up to the point where I needed help. And she was there, again, with solutions. Most importantly, she was patient and kind with me while I struggled to find the point where I needed to ask for help.
I was given contact information for several different vendors that were a dream to work with, all of them close with the team at 3 of Cups, all of them professional, willing to accommodate our slightly non-traditional ideas & incredibly skilled at their craft.
On the day of, I stepped back and was truly given the opportunity to be present in the moment with our friends & family. I had confidence in the communication we’ve had from all of our meetings, walk throughs, the rehearsal and every detail was perfect. And when I threw a few curve balls on a whim into the timeline, Sioux & Kaitlyn went with the flow.
What was most important to us is that we felt heard, supported & that these ladies truly cared about the experience that we had. They worked HARD and it showed by how Doug & I had no care in the world other than the dance floor!
3 of Cups waa wonderful to work with; our wedding would not have been possible without their organization and guidance. They are comprehensive, professional, and dedicated, and will guarantee a wonderful and stress-free day!
3 of Cups was fantastic, but special mention must go to Jessica; far and away. Whether it was rescheduling at the last minute, keeping us organized in the scramble of the final two weeks, or ensuring a flawless event on the day itself, Jessica handled everything with skill and grace.
Even when our officiant was caught in horrible traffic, Jessica rose to the occasion and did such a good job as the speaker and officiant that no one noticed the difference. We are truly indebted to Jessica and 3 of Cups for making our wedding into one of the best days of our lives.
Jess and her team are amazing!! Every time we met for our meetings I was a little stressed and by the time I left I felt so at ease because Jess would answer, help or come up with an idea of exactly what we wanted. Day of wow it was such beautiful perfect day and we didn’t have to stress about a thing. Hire her and her team you won’t regret it!
My husband and I are in hospitality and nursing so working with a competent, good communicator were key. Jessica was both of those and more. She is laidback and also professional. She made us feel prepared and confident in our planning sessions. We felt sure that she would do a great job on our wedding day. We were married at Allan House, which was great. Jessica made sure everything went smoothly. Koley who was Jessica's partner on flowers was exceptional. We did not worry about anything concerning logistics that day. We were able to fully enjoy our day. Another added benefit about Jessica is that she networks very well and knows who to utilize for services. She even saved us money. Jessica is exceptional. I would recommend her to my best friend.
We loved working with Jessica to plan our wedding. On the very first meeting, she whipped out her computer and said, "I want you to get a sense for how we'll work together." Then she shared a Google Doc that had everything we needed to plan our wedding. That doc became the definitive source for us going forward and was a great framework to work from. We felt like we were on the same wavelength as she is from day 1!
We chose to do most of the planning ourselves, but met up with Jessica several times to fill her in on our progress and ask questions. Each time, she helped us think through new details or iron out parts of the day we weren't sure about. She has a great eye for detail, she knew our wedding venue well (Umlauf Sculpture Garden), and she was able to recommend other vendors that matched our style and price range. Most of all, I liked the fact that Jessica was always willing to take our ideas and run with them - I never felt like she was trying to push us into her idea of a perfect wedding - and as she got to know us, she helped us brainstorm new ways of doing things that we hadn't thought of.
Our wedding exceeded our expectations, and we had high expectations to begin with! We felt that Jessica's coordination on the day-of was 100% essential to it going as well as it did. The timing and pacing was perfect, she made sure my now-husband and I were fed and taken care of, and she was a pro at wrangling family members in a nice-but-firm way so that everything went according to plan.
I would recommend Jessica to any of my friends who are planning a wedding. Hiring her was definitely one of the best investments we made!
Jessica planned our wedding, and is so wonderful to work with!! She's patient and helpful during the planning meetings, and made sure to note all of the things most important to us on our wedding. Everything went even better than we had even hoped or planned for. We definitely recommend working with her!
We also worked with Coley for our flowers, and she did an AMAZING job. Everything looked beautiful and she was really helpful in finding ways to minimize our costs as well. 100% would recommend working with her as well!!
We can't say enough wonderful things about Jessica, her assistant, Kaitlyn, and the coordinator services she offers. Jessica worked with us to plan our wedding throughout a long engagement and always made sure to help us focus on the big picture while she guided us through the details. She is extremely professional while still being warm and making you feel like family. I know a lot of people say to skip a wedding coordinator to save money, but she helped us remain sane throughout a stressful time and we consider her services well worth the (fairly priced) cost. Her connections helped us hire an amazing photographer, caterer, bar service, and furniture rental company. Once you meet her, you'll want her to help you plan your wedding/event!
Coley and her team truly delivered more then I could ever dream for the flowers at our wedding. I was overwhelmed with emotions when I first saw my bouquet and all the others that helped our wedding be unique and beautiful. I can’t thank Coley enough for sharing her skills and talents with us on our big day. I wish I could post pictures as part of my review just so you could see how wonderful everything was.
Just have to say one more thing-Coley is just an outstanding person overall. When I first met with her in person, I was dealing with some health issues that was taking my attention emotionally during our meeting. She was just so pleasant and understanding. I left that meeting feeling so comfortable and knew I could trust her. That offered so much relief for me during that trying time. Doesn’t stop there though-she came out of pregnancy bed rest to set up our wedding bc she wanted to make sure it was what I wanted. I can’t thank her enough. So Coley- keep doing what you’re doing and keep sharing that beautiful gift and smile of yours!!!!!
Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, easy, and not a single step was missed. As much as my wife an myself might like to think we did the hard work to make sure that happened, it was all Jess. My wife is a nurse with an ever-changing schedule. I work at a tech start-up, which often requires late nights and travel for conference and speaking sessions. Jess was so insanely flexible with us in timing our meetings, as well as so helpful in level setting our expectations on vendor costs (and fighting for us!), and recommending vendors where we didn’t already have expectations. Jess has also seemingly worked with *everyone* in the industry in Austin, and is so well connected. As a result, she knows exactly how folks work, how to breeze through contracts and find any holes, and can quickly envision exactly what the day will look like and how it will flow.
We’ve gotten SO many comments from friends and family about the wedding — how beautiful it was, how fun it was, how eaassyyyy it was. It was our vision, but Jess made it come to life and not on an insanely high budget. Thank you thank you thank youuuu for everything, Jess. It’s our absolutely favorite day of our lives so far, and you were critical in it coming to life.
If you need help, guidance, ideas, whateverrrr - Jess is your girl. Don’t even think twice. She’ll keep you organized. She’ll keep the vendors organized. She’ll even keep family organized. And, she’ll become a friend throughout the process. All the possible wins!
My husband and I got married at UMLAUF Sculpture Garden and Museum on November 10th, in Austin, Texas. Since we both live in Houston, we decided early on that a wedding coordinator was going to be necessary—not only to make the day easier and run smoother, but also to help with recommendations on vendors in the area. When looking for a wedding coordinator, we were looking for someone with lots of experience (especially at our venue), someone we got along with on a personal level, someone with vendor recommendations, and someone who understood the vision that we were aiming for with our wedding. Selecting 3 Of Cups/Jessica Ryan was easily one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Jessica brings a lot of experience with venues and vendors. She completely understood what we were picturing for the wedding, and had cool ideas on how to implement it. To top it off, she was personable, funny, nice, and overall an awesome person. Personally, I knew that I wanted to be involved in every aspect of the planning process, and not only was she understanding of that, she also made it happen! UMLAUF is primarily a garden, so fitting it to accommodate a wedding was challenging, but the absolute beauty of the venue made it all worth it. Jessica understood our vision for the wedding, and was eager to help us solve all of the unique problems it presented. She was knowledgeable of the venue but also had fresh, new ideas instead of repeats of previous clients. Leading up to the wedding, we met several times (via phone calls) to talk about every aspect of the wedding. I was so thankful for these meetings because she remembered every little detail—many things that I would have forgotten if it was not for her. She had great planning tools that covered everything—it was amazing! The day of the wedding was so smooth. The wedding party arrived to the venue early for pictures before the sunset, and her team was busy setting everything up. When I walked down the aisle and saw the finished product, I was amazed. Everything was more beautiful than I could have imagined. She handled everything with ease and really helped calm my nerves. I felt complete trust in her that she would and could handle anything that came up—AND SHE DID! After the wedding, she gave me feedback on vendors so I could accurately write reviews (via email), her team packed up everything, and returned the venue back to its original setting. We could not have picked a better person, and I would definitely recommend 3 Of Cups to anyone looking for a wedding planner or coordinator. Thank you so much!!
I highly recommend working with 3 of Cups for your wedding planning and coordination. Not only will Jessica work with you leading up to the event to make sure everything has been thought of and addressed, but you will have a wonderful day of coordinator to handle it all when it goes down. Every meeting we had was both fun and valuable, and Jessica really listens to what you and your fiance are hoping to achieve at your wedding and helps you do just that. The 3 of Cups team will think of, plan for, and handle things before they even occur to you or happen.
In our case, the day of coordinator was Mo McEneaney and she is a professional angel. Multiple guests took the time to let me know later how amazing our coordinator was, and I say later, because the during the wedding, I was totally swept up in the event and didn't need to worry because Mo was so on top of things. For example, at one point it looked like we were going to run out of tonic so Mo let us know, grabbed my purse for me so I could give the bartender my card, and then while I was mid-chat with someone she swept by and took my purse off my shoulder to bring it back and store it safely without saying a word. This small gesture was much appreciated and so thoughtful because walking across the room as the bride would have taken me a million years talking to guests.
Everyone told me that something would go wrong during the wedding, and I didn't really believe them. In fact, multiple things went wrong on our wedding day (some of them big),but due to the amazing work that 3 of Cups put in leading up to and during the wedding it all worked out! We got married, and both us and our guests all had a blast!
If you're planning an event I highly recommend working with 3 of Cups!
Jessica was wonderful. I cannot express how relaxed we all were the week of the wedding knowing Jess was in control. We got so many compliments on the wedding but specifically on Jess’s part—the organization & flow. Feels like we made a friend for life. Loved her!!
Jessica was amazing! She gave us great vendor recommendations and helped us create our perfect wedding. She is super laid back and knows the industry well. Not only that, but she is so organized and shares my love of using spreadsheets for organization.
When our wedding venue flooded and closed one month before our wedding, she worked non-stop to help us find a new venue! Our wedding would not have been as successful, fun and beautiful without Jessica's amazing work! I highly recommend working with her!
When my husband and I began the wedding planning process, we had absolutely no idea where to begin. All we knew was that we wanted our wedding to be at least a year out from our engagement and have our wedding in Austin. We live in New York, I’m from Houston, he’s from the Bay Area, but we wanted to have a central destination where all of our beloved friends and family could meet us for the celebration of the year. Our wishlist was simple: laid back, good vibes. With 3 of Cups Weddings + Events, we got that and more!
We ended up booking our photographers first during the early phases of wedding planning. They are a talented dynamic husband / wife duo that had years of experience working with tons of venues and planners in the Austin area. When we asked for recommendations for day-of- planners, Jessica Ryan from 3 of Cups came highly recommended per our style. They also provided a few others as alternatives, but when we connected with Jessica, we instantly knew she was our perfect match. From our first consultation, Jessica provided tons of recommendations for unique gems throughout Austin for our rehearsal dinner that we wouldn’t have discovered since we’re not from Austin. That was just for the rehearsal! For every detail in actually planning the wedding, we always felt like Jessica was our trusted partner and friend throughout the entire process. She was always mindful of our budget and always quick on her toes with additional suggestions. Our meetings never felt like work, they were always fun, productive, and filled with laughter. Perhaps my most grateful moment was when Jessica offered to meet with the majority of our vendors at our venue and conduct a site visit on our behalf a few months from our wedding. We always knew we were in good hands, but that alone, gave us so much comfort and confidence knowing that every plan — A, B, and C — had been carefully considered, and all we had to literally do was show up.
When it came to the day before and the actual day, that’s exactly what we did. My husband and I like to tout that we’re super chill, but when it came to rehearsing the day before and getting ready on the actual day, you can’t help but feel butterflies and stress leading up to the moment you walk down the aisle. Nonetheless, whenever Jessica walked into the room to check on us, those nerves just melted away. I remember mentioning that I forgot to pack a coat in case it was chilly the next day (we got married in the fall), and Jessica brought her stylish, fur coat for me! Those personal touches are invaluable.
For everyone planning now in the Austin area, my advice would be to NOT skip out on a planner and to book Jessica and her team. No matter how organized you are, or how many family members and friends offer to help out, the day flies by. You’ll need a professional by your side to make sure things run smoothly (and on time!) behind the scenes, and who can problem solve on your behalf so you, your partner, family and friends can truly enjoy the day. We will always cherish our day and are forever grateful to have found Jessica and gained a new friend along the way.
Jessica Ryan from 3 Of Cups is so wonderful! She is communicative, kind, professional, fun, and has a very calm presence. My (now) husband and I knew we could count on her to help keep us at ease throughout our wedding day and she definitely did! She is very sweet, supportive, and is absolutely someone you want by your side because she has a super chill vibe and will for sure help you feel less stressed (after all, stress is inevitable when it comes to planning and executing a wedding). On top of all that, Jessica is just a cool cat!
We met with Jessica a few times in the months before the wedding (we chose a package that included a few meetings and day-of coordination) and she was really helpful in giving us advice, answering questions (we had a lot of questions lol), and structuring the timeline. She has such a positive attitude and it was just so fun to work with her! We also felt that her services were really affordable, especially by comparison to other wedding coordinators in the area.
Mo was Jessica’s assistant for the day-of coordination and although we didn’t get to know her as well as Jessica, she was super kind and definitely worked very hard to make our wedding day run so smoothly!
We highly recommend Jessica and 3 Of Cups :)
Yay 3 Of Cups!!!
<3 Anna and Andy
Jessica is amazing! My planning sessions with her were incredibly helpful and full of tips to make the day run smoothly. It felt like each time I started to get anxious about the big day, it was time for a planning session and Jessica knew all the answers. She helped so much! She encouraged me to think through the details, get them on paper and hand everything over to her. I knew I could trust her and she executed to perfection. She was also amazing with our families and made everyone feel welcomed. We are so grateful to have met her through this process!!!
We don't have enough words to express how thankful we are to Jessica. Took us a while to find a coordinator that understood our vision. Almost all coordinators have a pre set mindset when it comes to a wedding. Jessica is very different, since the day we talked on the phone ( cause btw, we are from NYC and we did everything through distance) we felt the instant click. She actually cares about what you want and gives you the best advices based on YOUR vision. She recommended me the venue where we had our wedding and OMG!! That's how you know how good she is at her job cause that venue reflects exactly our personality and the idea of what we wanted.
The day of the wedding,a LOT of things changed last minute because of the rain and believe me,there is nothing better that having a pro wedding coordinator that can handle everything that overcomes stress free. I was nervous cause started raining literally 5 min before the ceremony started ( outdoors ceremony) and she managed her whole team to move everything under the roof and then when rain stopped, moving everythimg outside again cause that's what we wanted! We wanted the ceremony outside and that's what she made happen no matter what!!
Don't think twice about hiring Jessica, she is one of the best decisions you can make on your wedding day.
Jessica did a fabulous job planning our wedding and working with us. She gave us great suggestions and worked very diligently. All questions were answered promptly and she genuinely cared about us and our wedding. My wedding exceeded ky wildest dreams! Her day of assistant was magnificent as well and helped us tremendously. Thanks for everything Jessica and team! Coley did a fabulous job on the flowers as well. She was a huge help to my wife during planning helping with everything and fulfilling her exact vision with a very reasonable cost.
Blissful is a perfect word for the day. We felt like guests at our own wedding. Everything was executed perfectly without us even having to think about it. We know that was only the case because of all of Jessica's hard work. We've spoken to friends who are currently planning weddings and our number one piece of advice has been to hire a great day-of-coordinator. It made all the difference for us.
The time we spent with Jessica leading up to the wedding was also indispensable. Most of the vendors we hired were based on her recommendations and they were all great. She also helped us through all of the details that we didn't know we needed to think about. And we felt really confident the day of would go well because she was so involved leading up to the big day.
Jessica is amazing!
She is cool, calm and collecte. Handling the tiniest detail to a glaring oops with grace & ease. Jessica and her team
are simply wonderful. I would hire her again and again!
Jessica is absolutely the best. We knew from the moment that we met her that she was perfect to help plan our wedding.
She has a laid back style and helped guide us through the wedding planning process - which was very intimidating at first.
She understood and helped us better understand our vision and options as we went along.
Jessica and her team helped us have what was honestly a perfect day. We couldn't have done it without them. Thank you so much!!!
Jessica and her team were absolutely amazing! Not only was Jessica a huge help in the planning (I seriously don’t know how we would have done it without her), but she was a genuine joy to work with. My husband and I looked forward to every meeting! I felt like meeting with a friend who also happened to know how to plan the perfect wedding!
At each meeting Jessica had a timeline for when we should have things done which really helped us stay on track. The spreadsheets she provided made it so easy to share information with her and to stay organized. She helped us navigate the crazy world of wedding planning and recommended vendors that worked the best for us and our vision.
The actual wedding ran so smoothly. Her team made sure every last thing was taken care of and the only thing we had to do was party! When we had an issue with florals for our cake arriving on time, Jessica and her staff decorated the cake for us and it was stunning! They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed on what I expected to be a stressful day. Hiring 3 of Cups was the best thing we did for our wedding. I couldn’t recommend them more!!
Jessica was perfect! We were a perfect match and she understood our expectations perfectly. She made the entire planning process very easy and was very organized and thorough. Jessica also made the effort to tie up several loose ends with several vendors and was very professional. She also made she everything we discussed in advance was executed seamlessly during our special day. A round of applause for Jessica!!!
Jessica was absolutely wonderful! She guided us from day 1 (in our first meeting)till that evening of the wedding. She has got you covered regarding the many details that can easily be overlooked. Her calm and warm demeanor made planning so easy for us. We received so many compliments from friends and family as they felt everything went smooth on the wedding day. Her team, we had hired, were unbelievable organized and communicated so very well. Five stars all around - Thank you Jessica - we will be spreading the word about 3 of Cups =)
Jessica Ryan is absolutely fantastic! She coordinated our wedding on April 23 2017 while we planned from 1700 miles away. We couldn't have done it without her. She was very helpful, listened to our concerns and questions and helped us plan the perfect wedding. It's 100% worth it to have her as your coordinator for your wedding! Things went super smoothly and we had many compliments from our family and wedding party about how great Jessica was. She helped us work through issues with a difficult vendor and was very professional!
Jessica made our day perfect. She was wonderful in the planning process and went above and beyond to help us create the perfect fun, funky, funny, and generally awesome wedding we wanted. She has personal relationships with the highest quality vendors in town and knows the dos and don'ts of wedding planning in Austin better than anyone else. Best of all, she's fun. She won't stress you out and she certainly won't make the day about her agenda. She is the opposite of the horror stories you hear about over-controlling wedding planners and will handle everything while making you and your guests feel right at home. Wedding days do not have to be a chore, you are allowed to have fun just like everyone else! Do yourself a favor and hire her, take her advice, and enjoy your wedding day.
Jessica is such a wonderful wedding planner. She was always there to answer our questions or give guidance when we had no idea what to do. We loved her calm, funky, and fun personality. She was the best the day on the day of to make everything happen smoothly, even when things went wrong, we never had a clue because she handled it all.
I would highly recommend her as a planner, you will not regret it and your day will be magic!
Couldn't be happier with how our happy little wedding turned out! So grateful we hired Jessica Ryan at 3 of Cups to be our wedding planner! Working with her the months before the wedding were easy and organized and fun. We used a google doc spreadsheet and she had awesome references for musicians and photographers. There were some unforeseen hiccups the day of the ceremony (best man forgot the rings, people were trying to sneak into Mayfield park after we had closed it for our ceremony, one of the parents didn’t show up on time...) but Jessica and her assistant Brian handled everything with speed and grace. She works so well under high stakes situations while exuding calmness. I am forever grateful we handed over the care of our wedding to her. I love you Jess!
Jessica helped us create a spectacular wedding party at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center. FIRST- she a lovely human being. AND she's organized, knowledgeable, dependable and flexible. She was happy to guide us every step of the way (I had a very limited vision for our wedding and had lots of decisions to make.) DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
Jessica and Coley helped me and my husband every step of the way -- from ideation to actualization -- in terms of florals and planning for our wedding in October 2015. My husband and I aren't very conventional folks, and decided to scrap many traditions we didn't find useful of meaningful to us. Jessica really "got" us, and was able to match us with vendors who were on the same page. I honestly would've lost my mind a few times were it not for Jessica's patience and resourcefulness. Coley really came through on the perfect florals for our event, too. I can't recommend these gals enough. They are a perfect fit especially if you like to think outside the box in terms of tradition.
