34 Events Downtown Plano Wedding Venue can accommodate up to 250 people with a dance floor. The ballroom features historic 15-foot brick walls that offer a picture-perfect backdrop for your special day. Original hardwood flooring, white pillars and plenty of lights create a charming, rustic atmosphere that can be personalized to your liking. Optional services include in-house catering, wedding ceremonies, full bar packages, day of coordination service, photography, photobooth rental & décor rentals. 34 Events team will make preparing for your big day a breeze. There are a number of event rentals offered that can customize the space. Items such as arches, centerpieces, drapery, and lighting are a few options the venue has available. Hope and Alex are by far the best!!! I worried for months about decor and only having a day of coordinator. When i told Hope to have at it with where to place things, her eyes lit up and i knew it was going to be good. Immediately felt better BUT what i didn't know is she was going to absolutely KILL IT!!! I couldn't have even imagined how beautiful it all turned out. They're food was amazing. Production was perfect. Couldn't have dreamed of it being any better!

I had my granddaughter quinceñera at 34 Events. It was perfect…Alex the owner was very professional and covered every detail. He made it so easy to explore options for rental and the food was superb! The serving staff was very friendly and efficient. It was a magical evening and it was exactly what I had envision! I highly recommend this venue! 👍

Exceptional Venue, exceptional staff, and food was outstanding! We used 34 Events for my daughter's wedding reception (about 130 guests) and Hope and Alex worked their magic to deliver a hassle-free, reasonably priced, memorable experience for the couple and their guests. We upgraded on the food (worth it!) and Hope made sure everything ran smoothly the night of the event. She and Alex accommodated our last minute requests, were flexible when coordinating the event setup, provided recommendations when asked but were not pushy, and quickly handled the after-event cleanup process. We received many compliments, especially on the food!

10/10 recommend 34 Events! If you’re looking for a wedding venue that does it all (& at a fair price), look no further. After getting engaged in Nov. of 2022, we started our search for a venue. We researched for days and narrowed our choices down to 3 which included 34 Events. After meeting Alex (the owner), we decided this was going to be our place. From the exposed brick, 140y/o floors, and great location, we were hooked! Alex made the entire process so easy and we utilized their day-of-coordination service which is done in-house by Hope (Alex’s wife)—talk about a dynamic duo! We utilized their in-house catering and bar services which were PHENOMENAL (huge shout out to their chef)! If you want a place that you can do your ceremony and reception without all the fuss, GO HERE! Finally, we wanted to give a huge shout out to Hope. She made our day so incredibly special and helped bring our vision to reality. If you have the budget, UTILIZE THIS SERVICE; you won’t regret it. Thank you to the entire 34 Events team for being so kind and taking such good care of us!

Exceptional venue and staff!
My wife and I held our wedding reception here in May, and we couldn’t be more happy with the venue and service. Alex and Hope are both very professional and competent, and gave great care and consideration to our event.
The venue is charming and large enough to accommodate large parties. The food tasted great and there was a wide variety to choose from. In addition to the basics, Alex and Hope have many useful add-ons and are willing to go out of their way to accommodate special requests that one may have.
We cannot recommend the venue and people highly enough!

We had our wedding and reception at 34 Events in December 2022 and couldn’t have made a better decision. The venue is gorgeous, but what sets it apart are Alex and Hope. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The food, venue and every detail was perfection. From the early stages of planning to till the time the reception ended, the process was seamless and amazing.

Hands down would recommend 34 Events to ANYONE who is looking for a beautiful venue in Plano, but especially those who are looking to plan an indoor wedding for any season. Given that we decided to plan our wedding in 2 months' time, we were SO lucky Alex and Hope miraculously had our date open, had several inclusive packages/upgrades to choose from, catering onsite, photobooth, lighting, and more. First and foremost, for peace of mind and ensure everything goes smoothly, do yourself a favor and make the investment to have the Day-of Coordinator, Hope, be your go-to gal. She is so organized, a natural leader, and flexible. The entire evening she was personally invested in making sure we had the best day of our lives, and we can't thank her enough! Second, you will NOT be disappointed by the food - all of our guests were RAVING about how this was one of the best dinners at a wedding they'd ever had (Chicken Parm and Pasta Stations). And the best part was they had options for every budget and guest count. We were thrilled with how simple, straightforward, dare I say... easy?! it was to plan a wedding on short notice and we owe it ALL... and I mean ALL to this fabulous couple who owns 34 Events. Our experience with 34 Events was stellar. We loved the look of the venue, with its exposed brick and hardwood floors, along with the lighting. When we reviewed options, we decided we wanted to take advantage of a complete package that included food, beverage service, lighting, photo booth, day of coordinator and appetizer. My husband and I are so glad we picked this package – it was a huge weight off of our shoulders. The food was amazing and there are enough choices for anyone to find something they’ll enjoy. Cost was reasonable for this package and so worth it. We appreciated the payment option. Service was excellent and Hope was so helpful as coordinator! For Texas weather, 34 Events is such a great option as everything is indoors. It rained and temps dropped dramatically on our wedding day, so we were so glad we chose an indoor venue. Transitions were orderly, and everything went smoothly. We’ve received so many compliments on the venue, the food, the experience, and the vibe and we ourselves had such a wonderful wedding that we really got to enjoy. I cannot recommend 34 Events enough, and I suggest the package for less worry. Hope and Alex won’t steer you wrong – communication with them was always so easy!

My now husband and I booked this venue for our wedding and honestly, we could not have made a better decision! Alex and Hope were both insanely helpful along the way, and our day went so extremely smooth with the help of Hope (Day of Coordinator). I could not speak more highly of this place if I tried!! The décor on the inside is absolutely stunning and the in house catering was INCREDIBLE!!!
But back to Hope. She truly cared so much about me and my husband, and she truly wanted us to have the most incredible day. You can tell she puts in so much effort and really wants to do the best job possible for her clients. If you book this venue, BOOK THE DAY OF COORDINATOR!!! The way she set up the decorations in the venue was breathtaking, and I literally could not have imagined a more beautiful space for us and our guests to enjoy. Everything went on without any issues and we could just simply enjoy our time. We truly had the best day of our lives, with majority of the thanks going to Hope.
Hats off to this incredible venue, ran by caring and professional people who just want their clients to have indescribable memories for the rest of their lives.

Alex and Hope, Thank you so much for everything. Our party at 34Events was so smooth and also so much fun. The food!!!! What can I say, “hats off to the chef!” The staff, so kind and attentive, no “bothered” looks. Hope! She has the most beautiful spirit and the biggest smile. Simply amazing. Alex was so easy to work with, and he helped with the flow on the day of our wedding even though we did not pay for a coordinator. He double checked all details with us, so there were no surprises when we arrived. The venue was beautiful for the reception, the food was yummy, and the bartenders did an outstanding job. Incredible, incredible venue for the price. Loved my experience! Would recommend to anyone.

34events was a beautiful, all-inclusive venue for our 120 guest wedding. The historic wood flooring and brick and extras like string lights, gobo with our initial and uplighting made our reception look fabulous at a great price point. Not much extra décor is needed. 34events has so many delicious catering options.. trust me, we got to try everything at our complimentary tasting. The venue also offers competitively priced glassware and charger rentals with setup and clean up included which made wedding day logistics so easy. Alex, the owner of 34events is responsive and easy to work with. He was very flexible in scheduling our tasting and final walkthrough since we live out of town. So many of my guests commented on how it was the best reception they’ve been to! We definitely recommend 34events!

I have been in event Planning for years, having done multiple Weddings, Anniversaries, and Quinceanera's; not to mention the multitude of corporate events and fundraisers that I have produced. When I was asked to be one of one of two Event Planners for my Nephew's Wedding, naturally I said YES. We looked at several venues; but when he and his wife saw 34 Events, it was an easy decision. I could not make the initial site inspection; so, I met the owner, Alex, a few days later with a private tour. I was impressed by the space; but his professionalism, responsiveness, and clear knowledge of Event planning was what sold me. Not only was he super easy to work with; but he was flexible, organized, and extremely responsive. Coincidentally, I did not meet him again until the day of the event; so, all planning from that first meeting was via email. When we arrived for the rehearsal, he was there and prepared. He not only came through with all the promises he had made; but there was also not one single "surprise" as often is the case with venues of this nature. In fact, he went beyond what was even discussed and left me speechless with his gestures of grace and generosity. On the day of the event, he was there again for the setting up part; but then his wife, Hope, stepped in to run the event. Well, just as I thought things couldn't get any better, in was Hope with her charm, incredible personality, and spot-on focus. Throughout the night, she was always one step ahead of all of us. It was clear that she was a professional; and it just made my job all that easier. The guests wanted for nothing; and we just kept receiving raves as the night proceeded. The Staff from the Chef, the bartenders, and servers were just impeccable. In my world, I can turn any space into an amazing event; but it is people like the Staff at 34 Events who just make all the challenging work worth it. Trust me when I tell you, if you need a venue for any kind of event, look no further than Alex and Hope at 34 Events.

Absolutely wonderful! Start to finish. My daughter's wedding was May 2022. Hope and Alex are wonderful hosts. Hope in particular went the extra mile. Her team worked so hard. You never even saw her team. They were so professional. The food was terrific. I call this one stop shopping. You have the venue, the food, adult beverages, lighting, ambiance, photo booth, and even table center pieces. We added more for a different look. They have alter rentals. We chose the Octagon which was just beautiful! They have a partnership with Aloft Hotel Richardson, which provided FREE shuttle to and from the event! I appreciate the professionalism and they made my daughter's day as well the parents day special and seamless. And I will say it was a good value with the entire package.

My now husband and I booked this venue in summer of 2020 and we worked with Alex and Hope for our venue, décor, catering, day of coordinator and photography. We picked 34 Events because we love the all inclusive packages they provide, rustic look, intimacy, and location that was close to the church.
We loved the convenience of having all inclusivity of the venue because it included the linens, utensils, servers, bartenders, parts of center pieces for the décor, and photo booth. They provide options for day of coordinator, catering, photography, videography so it made it easier to coordinate with fewer vendors.
We loved working with Alex and Hope because they were organized, responsive, reliable, helpful with suggestions, flexible (we had to postpone the wedding from 2021 to 2022). Being a small business, we felt much more personalized and connected with them as opposed to working with a large company.
The catering was delicious! They have many delicious options to choose from that we tried during the food tasting. We had appetizers for the guests which included, mac and cheese bites, spinach stuffed mushrooms, mozzarella bites. We had chicken cordon bleu and a prime rib station as our main course with veggies and mashed potatoes. We also added the coffee and tea bar option and the soda package. All were great!
Alex was our photographer for the wedding and he did our engagement pictures as well. He was awesome to work with and very knowledgeable. We loved that he directed us on poses for the pictures and his attention to detail for photography lighting .
Hope was our day of coordinator and she was wonderful! She is very organized, detailed oriented, and passionate about what she does. We communicated in person and through email all the details up to the day before the wedding and she was very responsive to reply. She set up and took down the décor. She also provides service to rent décor pieces. She went above and beyond with decorations, keeping to the timeline of the wedding day, and even helping with bustling my dress. She made sure we had plenty of time to eat and got drinks for us at the bar during dinner. The décor was beautiful and classy just as I had pictured for my wedding.

The venue was beautiful and better than I could have asked for. Alex was very professional and answered my millions of questions. We also hired Hope for her Day of Coordinator services which was the best decision ever. She helped the day run smoothly and when red wine was spilled on my dress she made it disappear like magic!

Both the venue and our wedding reception at 34 Events were amazing. The space includes: a dressing room with full length mirror and seated mirror area for touch ups and to store/charge your items, a dining area with great spacing (which easily accommodated our 200 guests, but can fit up to 250 if needed), a dance floor with plenty of space down the center of the venue for people to lose all inhibitions as the rhythm of the music takes over them and not bump into things while doing so, and a photo booth area conveniently off to the side for guest access throughout the evening that does not detract from the general ambiance of the event. The venue provided wonderful mood lighting with their Edison bulbs strung across the venue and down the feature wall behind where we sat as well as uplighting for when the dancing started that set the perfect tone for a fantastic night! The menu selection has a wide variety for choices and the tasting of these items was superb (it was hard to choose just one entree)! The menu variations are exquisite with excellent combinations. Not to be biased in the matter but our food was the best meal I’ve ever enjoyed at a wedding and by the end of the night multiple guests were raving about the meal; complimenting the portion sizes and flavoring as well as asking if the venue catered to outside locations. Pro-tip, get the Chicken Parmesan. You will not regret it.
Alex and Hope were both very easy to work with: Alex as the owner of the establishment and Hope as our day-of-coordinator. They each helped make everything run smoothly and were very prompt with responses for emails/questions/concerns that we had. We loved their professionalism in everything they did and their flexibility with last minute adjustments/accommodations we needed to make. The location is very easily accessible and within walking distance of multiple parking lots/garages as well as right next to an exceptionally beautiful park where we did our Bride and Groom photos! They also recommended a hotel within a 5 min drive from the venue that had wonderful accommodations for all our guests. If you are looking for a place to book your event, then look no further because this place has everything you need and more! It is a shame we are restricted to 5 stars because they are clearly a 10 star venue!

34 Events is absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a stunning venue with excellent food and incredible staff this is the place for you! First of all the in house catering is incredible. We had a chicken parm dinner and our guests are still talking about how good the food was. The building itself is absolutely stunning. The red brick walls, hardwood floors, string lights and greenery chandelier are so beautiful that pictures don't do it justice. Finally, the staff is so friendly and easy to work with. The owner, Alex, is a great communicator and was so helpful. We actually had to postpone our event and Alex was very flexible and understanding.
Have your wedding at 34 Events, I promise you'll regret it if you don't!

This venue exceeded all expectations! The food we chose and everything I tried at the taste test was superb. Alex was patient, kept the evening on schedule, was super accommodating and easy to interact with. The venue is perfect for both the wedding and reception. Haggard Park just down the road provides a perfect backdrop for romantic photos. The price is extremely reasonable. Due to a last minute scheduling issue due to COVID and party size, we couldn't have the rehearsal dinner where we originally planned. Alex was flexible and allowed us to book the rehearsal dinner since we were already doing the rehearsal there.
Alex is also a professional photographer and he was stellar. We couldn't be happier with our experience! Priced fair just a beautiful venue!

We had such a wonderful experience with Alex and Hope! The exposed brick wall and hanging lights were gorgeous and the decor was just what we had in mind. Hope was the perfect "day of" coordinator. She made sure every detail was perfect and that our needs were met, as if it were own wedding! The food was delicious and cooked on site. It was perfect!

The historic charm of 34 Events set the ambiance that we were looking for when we were searching for a venue for our wedding, but we got so much more. Alex & Hope are amazing and every detail was handled perfectly. There staff was gracious and courteous to all of the guests and we had so many compliments on the food that was served, and it was all prepared by their chef in their own kitchen. The referrals that they were able to offer were invaluable as well. On a scale of one to ten, 34 Events is a 10+++.

I absolutely love this venue and their WONDERFUL STAFF. As a wedding coordinator, I showed up last night expecting to work and basically the staff took care of EVERYTHING. They are extremely helpful and are truly their for the clients. Anything, I needed they were available to assist with. I worked with Alex and Hope last night and they were just wonderful. Last but not least, I’m not sure who the chef is, but the food was SUPERB...no seriously...it was AMAZING food. When you have a great venue, awesome customer service and WONDERFUL food. The catering staff was mind blowing to me on all their help. You will hit the jackpot If you book this place !! Tour this venue, book the venue and sit back and enjoy your wedding day! As the mother of the bride, I was very involved in the wedding planning for my daughters wedding. From the moment we toured 34Events, we were sold that this was the perfect venue. Alex and his team were amazing. Food was excellent and guests enjoyed both the appetizers and dinner. Hope was the on-site planner and she did an amazing job setting up the venue, decorations, and attention to detail. On the day of, she quickly worked through challenges with with our other vendors and made everything run very smoothly. Alex was the photographer and I felt like he was very attentive to capture every detail. We all feel like Alex and his team were the dream team when it comes to the wedding chaos. We had our wedding reception at 34 Events on Saturday & we couldn’t have picked a better place. I fell in love with this venue when I first visited. Alex, the owner, promised he took care of his brides & he delivered on his promise. In my months of planning if I had any questions I’d send Alex an email & he would respond quickly. If I wanted to see the space again as I was planning décor he was always willing to meet me there so I could take a look. Alex was able to help offer recommendations of vendors as well which was great. In addition, I hired Hope as a day of coordinator & that was the best decision I could have made. I literally didn’t have to stress about anything on my wedding day – Hope took care of it & ensured all of my vendors arrived on time. In addition, she was super responsive & helpful when I was planning timelines, etc. My guests loved the space as well & can’t stop talking about how great the food was! Big thanks to Alex & Hope for doing everything they could to ensure I had the wedding reception I always dreamed of - & it was just that!

I took great care in selecting our wedding venue because I had a very specific look in mind that featured textured brick and lights behind a floral altar, 34 Events greatly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. We met with Alex (the owner) several times prior to making our final decision and he was incredibly patient with us and always took the time to explain all the details. They did everything with extreme professionalism and class from the very beginning. Working with them was easy, they were always available for questions and totally polite. We had 34 Events handle our ceremony and reception which included tables, chairs, linens, serving pieces, catering, wait staff, cleanup and Photo Booth. They flipped the room quickly and discretely, served our guests with smiles, and took care of things as promised. Their catering is very high quality and we have gotten so many compliments on how delicious and plentiful the food was at our wedding. Alex and the other staff at 34 Events did an amazing job for my wedding! The space is beautiful, photography was great (we hired Alex and a second photographer that he recommended), and Hope was so helpful and thoughtful in keeping the day enjoyable and taking care of some things that could create added stress. Alex always made himself available to for questions and was flexible with us and the different things we wanted. After the wedding it took quite a while for us to get out pictures and we never received the complimentary photo album that he promised, but those are little things. I highly recommend 34 Events as a wedding&reception venue.

34 Events was amazing and gave us the perfect wedding! They were extremely accommodating to us and all of our guests that joined us for our special day. Alex did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos and they turned out gorgeous. Hope is the appointment coordinator and was also amazing because she helped the whole day and night go smoothly as well as putting all of us at ease not having to stress about anything. The venue is beautiful and very intimate and we also loved how everything was in one place. We had our ceremony in the beginning of the night and then they flipped the room to turn the space into the reception area after the ceremony which was so convenient that no one had to drive to another venue for the reception. Overall we loved everything so much and we are so thankful that we found this venue! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and classy venue to hold a reception or ceremony!

I had my wedding reception at 34 Events and it was amazing! We had an Italian dinner, half of my family is Italian and they couldn’t stop complimenting the food! The venue offers so much and completely exceeded my expectations. The wait staff and bartenders were very friendly and worked hard to make sure our guests were well taken care of. They have a photo booth with props, and pictures are printed on the spot so my guests could take them home. They also had lanterns I used for centerpieces which was the finishing touch for my candles and greenery. I definitely recommend this venue!!

My husband and I just had our wedding here and oh my gosh, wow! This venue is absolutely gorgeous!! The string lights set the atmosphere. We got their catering package and the food taste exactly like it did at the tasting, it was amazing! I LOVE pasta and their Pink Pasta is to die for! We got so many compliments from our guests about the food. Working with Alex, the owner, made our wedding planning SO easy. He was able to turn our big day into the perfect day! We hired Hope, the day of coordinator, to help with decorations and coordinating our year worth of planning in one day, and I couldn’t have done this without her. Between Alex and Hope, this beautiful venue, and the food, our wedding completed the day of our dreams!

Alex and his team are a group of amazing people! They all went above and beyond to make our wedding day very very special and so beautiful! From the very first day we met with Alex, we knew this was the perfect place for our day. Alex was always very professional and friendly, and made us feel very comfortable! He was always available and answered all of our questions promptly, although I know I was an annoying bride, he was always very kind and responsive! Alex and his venue comes with many optional vendors, which makes it very easy and stress free! Our venue package came with wedding photography, engagement shoot, catering, photo booth, tables/chairs, table ware, centerpieces, water/tea...etc. It’s an amazing venue, and offers many things to make the planning easier! We had an amazing experience with Alex as our photographer! Highly recommend him as your wedding day photographer, and vendor for your venue!!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, because they helped make our day much more special!!! I’m forever grateful with Alex and his team!!!

34 Events gave us the most PERFECT and BEAUTIFUL wedding!!! I cannot say enough good things about this business. The venue location is beautiful and easy to get to for guests. We had both our ceremony and reception at 34 Events. There are so many cool places to take photos just within a block of the venue! Hope and Alex made our wedding planning process so stress free and easy. The venue provides so much that it makes it easy to plan your wedding and keep everyone on the same page without getting overwhelmed.
Alex is a great photographer and helped us make sure we had a variety of poses and backgrounds for our photos. He was very flexible with meeting times for when we did our engagement photos. He has invested so much in this business and he is really easy to work with.
I could not have made it through my wedding without Hope!! She is the day of coordinator that works with the venue. She an invaluable resource because she has access to the venue. Since she works with the venue she has seen so many weddings there and can help you decide what works best in that space. She went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed and kept us on track for the timeline. If you want a stress free & flawless wedding, you NEED her!
The catering service was AMAZING. Everyone commented on how excellent the food was when I talked to them after the wedding. We had passed appetizers as well as dinner served. The photo booth was a huge hit and everyone I talked to said it was one of their favorite parts since they got to take home the photos. The bar service did an excellent job and everyone was very happy with the drinks that were poured. The colored lights really transformed the room from an elegant dinner to a fun place to dance the night away.
If you want a good idea of what your wedding will look like, I recommend watching their videos online or going by the venue on the weekend just to see what the venue looks like with an active event. You can stand outside and see the event without bothering the event. This establishment is an excellent value and is easy to work with.
If there is ever a bad review for this establishment it should be taken with a grain of salt because it very likely wrong.

We cannot say enough good things about 34 Events as a wedding venue. If you have yet to tour the venue, you must. It is the most amazing space with exposed brick and beautiful lighting. Since our wedding day, every discussion I’ve had with a wedding guest included them commenting three things - how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was, and how smoothly the day went. Let’s talk about the food quick. At first we were nervous about using an in-house caterer but when we had our food tasting we honestly could not decide on which option to go with because they were all fantastic. It’s really a toss up if I got more compliments on my wedding dress or our food, and believe me my wedding dress was beautiful. Food = 10/10. Also - if you are a bride and you don’t want to have any stress at all on your wedding day - HIRE Hope (the day of wedding coordinator). Our cake didn’t show up to our wedding until about 15 minutes before our ceremony and I didn’t know any differently because Hope just handled it. She was a literal lifesaver. She fed our wedding party while we were getting ready, organized our ceremony, did all of the vendor contacts the week of the wedding, and most importantly she kept me calm. Without Hope I would have felt the wedding day stress and I honestly believe I was able to enjoy my day because she was there to handle everything. Working with Hope and Alex (owner) is a breeze. They are so accommodating and friendly and really care that your big day is everything you wish it to be. Believe me, that’s hard to find in a wedding space around DFW. Thank you, Alex and Hope - we couldn’t have asked for a better venue!

We were looking at another venue, but we were frustrated with the pricing structure. Since we were on a budget and planning our wedding from out-of-town, we needed someone who would work with us and make the process easier. Alex gave us an affordable package that included so much of what we needed. It took a lot of stress off of planning from afar. The venue is charming, and Alex is receptive to your ideas for setup, decor, and menu. The day of was great, and our friends and family seemed to really enjoy the venue.
One note to mention - It would be helpful to have some kind of event order to help keep track of the nitty gritty details and make sure client and venue are on the same page.
Alex also took our wedding photos - we love them! He captured some lovely shots and even brought in a second photographer to help catch different angles and moments.

34 Events was the absolute best venue for our wedding reception. I knew from the moment I walked in that it was THE place. With the rustic (yet not over done) decor, the romantic ambience, and people helping; it was seriously the best part of the wedding. We held 200 comfortably in there having 2 bars, a dance floor, photo booth, and food buffet. Growing up in Plano, it made it special to be in downtown Plano in an historical building. Alex, the owner, was so accommodating, professional, and open to all our ideas. He made planning the reception easy by helping us with all the small things that no one thinks about. The reception would not have been as fabulous as it was without Hope, 34 Events’ DOW coordinator. She went above and beyond in her creativity and her help with everything. She was absolutely 110% worth it and so thoughtful. Again, I can’t say enough amazing things about 34 Events, the actual venue, and the helpful staff. Thank you, Alex, Hope, and the 34 Events staff for making the best day of my life absolutely perfect!

The venue is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Alex and his team made every effort to accommodate us and our guests throughout the planning process and the event. Our wedding was more than we ever could have hoped for and it's all thanks to Alex and Hope. Alex is a talented and professional photographer and business owner. We knew as soon as we saw the venue and met Alex that we wanted to have our reception there. A couple months before our wedding we realized we needed a coordinator and that's when Hope stepped in to help. She was worth every penny and we could not have done it without her. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing, she put our minds as ease and took care of everything. She took my very vague vision of how I wanted to venue to look and ran with it. It turned out so beautiful. Our package was for one photographer and a couple days before our wedding Alex said he was going to bring a second shooter along. Our engagement photos were incredible and Alex was fun to shoot with. Both Alex and Hope were extremely accommodating. They also had great recommendations for other vendors which made our decisions and planning much easier. W can't recommend 34 Events enough!

As a little girl I have always envisioned my wedding to be the best day of my life. Having my wedding at 34Events truly made my dream wedding come true! From the food, the lighting, and all the amenities that 34Events had to offer, my wedding was the best day of my life!! I cannot say enough good things about Alex and his staff. We had such wonderful ceremony and reception at 34 Events. Alex was amazing to work with, and helped me stay organized every step of the way. The venue is gorgeous and our guests were so complimentary of the space! We hired his recommended day of coordinator, Hope, and she was amazing! She helped with EVERYTHING and made sure the party was smooth and on track. I seriously could not have done it without her!
We also used their in house caterer, and the food was delicious. Not to mention how attentive their servers were! Thank you 34 Events for a wonderful wedding, and thank you Alex and Hope for all your help getting our big day coordinated!

My husband and I were married at 34Events on September 23, 2017. From the moment we met Alex back in January, we knew this was the one and only place for us. From the start Alex was quick to respond, accommodating to any of our needs/ideas we had, and so great to work with. The best thing about 34Events is hard to pinpoint, but for me the all inclusive part was the best for us! They literally take care of everything! We just had to find our DJ, Photographer, Florist, and cake. They took care of set up, clean up, provided the linens, silverware, staff, etc. Alex has his own chef so no need for an outside caterer and the food is incredible! As we got towards the end of the planning we met with Hope, the day of coordinator and although I thought I could run the day on my own, I quickly realized I NEEDED her. She was so warm and accommodating and just someone you need to keep the crazy calm. :)
My Husband and I couldn't have had a better wedding and experience and we owe a great deal of that to Alex and Hope. We couldn't have done it without them!

34 Events is awesome! We had our wedding here on August 19, 2017 and it was perfect. The venue has exposed brick, beautiful hard wood floors, great columns, and elegant bistro lighting. You really do not have to do much decorating. The owner, Alex, was very responsive from the beginning and throughout the wedding planning process - he was easy to work with. We used the venue's catering and the food was delicious! The day ran smoothly and the staff was extremely helpful. It is also an affordable venue compared to others we looked at. We had our engagement pictures done by 34 Studio and were very impressed - we can't wait to see our wedding pictures! My husband and I were extremely impressed by 34 Events and highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the Dallas area in the near future.

MY ONE & ONLY CHOICE!!! I contacted 34Events and got a prompt reply. I scheduled a tour and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!! Such a BEAUTIFUL space. I didn’t need to consider any other locations. The venue has exposed brick, original hardwood floors, and about 4 pillars in the center of the room that add a sense of separation to the floor plan. Located in the middle of historic downtown Plano – there is plenty of parking and minutes away from several social hangouts, bars & hotels. I had already chosen my DJ, photographer & caterer prior to my visit but Alex was gracious enough to allow outside catering. He offers great pricing for additional services. 34Events is a full-service event center. Alex is extremely accommodating and flexible with plans and services. He communicates on a regular basis and is always available to answer any questions you may have leading up to your event. He is very hands on and always greets you with a smile! Our wedding was on August 20, 2017 & was beyond special and this location complimented our personality, style and created the atmosphere we desired. Thank you Alex!! 34Events was our PERFECT choice.

We had our wedding here on 7/15/17. Alex did a fantastic job helping plan our special day. We had only looked at one other venue before initially coming to 34 Events, but we were set on this venue after seeing it and speaking with Alex. We used all vendors/individuals Alex recommended/provided other than the cake and DJ. Alex took our engagement photos at two separate locations and he also took our wedding photos...we loved our engagements but are really excited to see the wedding photos! The catering through Alex was really delicious and there are plenty of options to choose from. Alex and the rest of the staff at 34 Events worked hard the day of - my husband even commented how it seemed like during the wedding Alex was always here or there making sure everything was going smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 34 Events to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding or another event!

You will Not be let down. Alex hosted my daughters wedding this past weekend.
I must admit,I was a little nervous from start to the day of event. Just A Fathers nerves wanting everything to go right.
Everything went Perfect. I tried to think of something that went wrong but could not.
Wedding was Fantastic. Alex is great to work with,along with his staff.

I held my wedding at 34 Events last weekend, 28 May 2017, and I could not be happier with how everything turned out.
The venue is charming. The exposed brick walls and string lighting create an atmosphere which requires minimal additional decorations. I simply brought in some greenery and votive candles to compliment the venue's beautiful chandelier. It was quick, easy to set up and clean up, and it looked gorgeous.
Everyone I encountered at 34 Events was professional and courteous. The owner, Alex, is helpful and accommodating. He walked me through all of my options and made great suggestions on what would work best for my needs.
I selected an all-inclusive package for my wedding which included a full day rental, food for 100 people (including passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a full buffet dinner), photo booth, tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, lanterns, and so much more. Bartenders, wait staff, and multiple photographers were also included. I literally only had to arrange the cake delivery and schedule the band, every other service was taken care of.
When we went to the menu tasting we were presented with entree and side options and we had a hard time picking because everything was delicious! My now husband cleaned every plate they brought us and happily did so again when the food was just as tasty the night of our wedding.
A great option at this venue is BYOB. Alex allowed us access to the venue the night before to drop off an assortment of beverages and from there the bartenders made it happen.
Also included in our package was an engagement photo shoot. The photos turned out beautifully and were displayed on a big screen TV at our wedding. We are anxiously awaiting our wedding photos because we know they will be just as perfect.
Everything said and done, if I could go back in time and relive the day, I'd choose 34 Events all over again. Thank you for making our day better than we could have hoped!

My sister found 34 Events for my Fi & I and we could not be happier that she did. From the moment we saw the venue we absolutely loved it. The brick walls give the venue such a great look and the wooden floors are beautiful. Alex owns the venue and he is so accommodating and helpful. He answered all our questions so promptly and was available for anything we needed.
We used the caterer that Alex provided. The food tasting was wonderful, he was so attentive and made sure to talk to us about all the food options he had and helped us build our menu. Because we booked all through Alex, he offered us two complimentary hors d'oeuvres, bruschetta and mini quiche, and they were so delicious. They were passed around during cocktail hour. Then for dinner we had chicken marsala, pasta, veggies and mashed potatoes and our guests have not stopped talking about how delicious the food was. We are so glad we did the catering through Alex. Our servers were amazing and so attentive. Alex also provided the bartenders, who were awesome, we had two bars, one bartender at each bar.
We also used the photo booth that Alex had with the props he provided. It was set up after dinner and our guests loved it. The photo booth prints out two copies of each photo session, we let our guests keep both copies as Alex provided digital copies of all photos taken throughout the rental period.
We had the string light set up in the venue and a beautiful greenery piece that hung over our dance floor that Alex provided and it gave it such a magical look. I wanted a unique layout for our head table and Alex was willing to work with me and made it happen.
We had about 220-230 guests attend our wedding and a large crowd dancing, even though the AC was on it felt hot while dancing so Alex brought out fans and it helped so much. It’s things like this that show that Alex was on the lookout to make sure our guests had a great time and were comfortable throughout the night.
Since we got married on a Friday and there was no Thursday event, Alex allowed for our wedding planner to begin setup on Thursday. I just cannot say enough good things about how accommodating, helpful, and thoughtful Alex is.
I highly recommend 34 Events and Alex, I can 100% say that my wedding was perfect and the venue and the service we received was a huge reason for that.

I cannot say enough good things about Alex and 34Events! Alex went above and beyond and made sure our wedding day went smoothly. We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue's décor and set up and how smoothly everything seemed to go for both the ceremony and reception.
Alex also did an amazing job for our engagement photos and wedding day photos. He is a great photographer. We received a great package that helped us stay within our tight budget and he was kind enough to throw in a few free upgrades which we really appreciated.
The food was delicious and the staff on hand were polite and efficient.
Our wedding day was perfect and we have Alex to thank for that!

34 Events is a beautiful venue. As others have stated, the venue truly needs minimal decorations. Alex was fantastic to work with and was extremely flexible throughout all the phases of our event. Additionally (and maybe most importantly for some), Alex provided tremendous value for the services we received in our package. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event in the area.

I can't rave enough about our experience with 34 events. My husband and I went with the Catering Alex offered and WOW! Our guests seriously raved about everything they ate. The service Alex provided from the time we toured until providing us with feedback after the event was 5 star. We were married at a church off the toll road in Dallas and made the quick drive to 34 events for reception. Alex was able to facilitate with each of our vendors to ensure everyone would have enough time to set up (we brought in a dance floor and huge hanging halo). Any alterations that needed to be made were made in a timely fashion. He is prompt to answer any questions and make sure you are stress free throughout the evening. We also used their videographer and are set to receive our video this week. I am so excited to see how it turned out!

This venue was absolutely fantastic, it checked all of the boxes for us! It was affordable and included a lot of the amenities we were hoping for. The beautiful wood floors and brick on the walls made it so that we really didn't have to do very much to make it look nice! Working with Alex was really easy and his staff was fantastic. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great, turn-key venue!

Planning a wedding is stressful in of itself and so when we stumbled upon 34 Events and met Alex, the owner, he just made the process so much easier. We worked with Alex every part of the way. He helped us pick our wedding package, which included everything from food to photography and videography. He took our engagements, bridal, and first look photos. He guided us through the layout of the wedding. He and his staff are amazing and very professional. The venue itself has beautiful wooden floors, brick walls, and two huge windows that bring in natural light. They are located in downtown Plano, which has many hotels around the area hat provide transportation for you and your guest. It is a historic area with plenty of parks near by for pictures. We had both our ceremony and reception there and the transition went without notice. They made our wedding everything we dreamt and made it run as smoothly as possible. I am very happy with our choice and will highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a venue.

It is very unfortunate that I have to write a negative review for this business. My husband and I paid in installments to have a wedding here and was verbally told many exciting things by Alex's assistant Hanna such as how she would assist in coordinating our wedding. We paid a total of $8,000 out of $12,000 starting on 6/20/15 for a wedding planned for 11/21/2015. The picture we were painted was totally different than what we experienced from the time we paid until the time we decided to cancel which was in mid August 2015.
When we agreed to have our wedding here, the building was still under renovation, so we had only thus far seen an empty building and only pictures of what it would look like. We were told that beginning of July the place would be ready and that we could then have a tour. That never happened. In fact, no one contacted us regarding our wedding the WHOLE of July. Being that it was less than 6 months away I began to become anxious. Yet we continued paying on faith which was a risk we didn't want to continue to take. Finally in mid August I decided to reach out, HELLO? To find out what was going on and ask many questions, one mainly being touring the finished product. Hanna responded back the next day starting her email off with "Sorry for the delayed response, we were at a destination wedding in Chicago". I got a strong implication of unimportance.
We decided to cancel the wedding and with our signed contracts stating that there would be a FULL refund if the event was canceled at least 90 days in advance, I thought there would not be an issue getting our money returned. His assistant did all of the writing back and forth via email the whole time, first trying to issue an "in house credit" then down right refusing when it was clearly written in the contract we signed that a full refund would be issued and we clearly canceled at least 90 days in advance in writing. Not one call by the way. They did absolutely nothing towards our wedding yet wanted to keep $8,000 ?
So, we hired a lawyer to review and write a demand letter via certified mail. No response from that.
Next we, filed suit in Collin County court and the Judge Paul Raleeh quickly ruled in our favor (less than 15 minutes after hearing us and Alex speak) after reviewing the contract and our case. The judge demanded for Alex to return a total of $8,116.00 (including court fees) back within 21 business days from when we went to court which was on 5/2/16. It is now 12/29/16 and we have yet to receive our money back. And according to these reviews, he has had several weddings so he has had an ample opportunity to return our money but still has not. It is stressful, I wish he would just return our money so we can all move on.
I am happy for the brides and grooms whom had a successful wedding at this place. If only I had experienced the same, I would have probably been leaving a good review as well. I hate drama and that's why its taken a while to even leave a review. Because it upsets me and I don't want to feel that way.But this is getting ridiculous now. Alex, you need to return our money, the amount you took from us is too much to just let go. You were ordered by a judge to return our money!
For anyone considering this place for their wedding, read the contract very well. Also pray nothing goes wrong during the time leading up to your date because if you decide to cancel you probably won't be getting any of your money back, even if the contract says you will.

Thank you 34Events! Alex and company provided a beautiful and memorable day for us, 11/20/2016. From the first time we met and saw the event space to the day of the wedding, Alex was a pro. Alex, also the lead photographer, provided stunning backdrops and captured forever pics. The dinner was wonderful, we had the lamb and chick parm, very delicious. Hands down a great experience. If you are planning your day, the area is awesome for parking, getting to and from with ease, late night bars and restaurants if your group wants to keep things going and hotels all near by. You can't go wrong.
