ng, and when we were meeting with coordinators, we wanted someone who was calm, cool, cultured, fun, organized, and knew all the best places/vendors/tips for Austin. Chanler was all of those things and MORE, and towards the last few days of planning, it really felt like Chanler had become our best friend. To be honest, when I was meeting with other planners, some stressed me out, and others didn't vibe with us as a couple, but Chanler was an instant match. On the day of our wedding, the 36th Street team was so, so professional that even our guests were complimenting us on how elite and organized everything was. Chanler and this entire team are so lovely, I will continue to say the best things about them to anyone that will listen.

My husband also couldn’t believe how amazing she was at her job, and our entire wedding party was just so impressed. My wedding venue, Ma Maison, requires you to book a day of planner and I did A LOT of interviews with different preferred wedding planning companies and their planners, but most of them felt so intense and honestly stressed me out. I wanted my day of planner to feel like one of my friends since they are literally with you every step of the way on your wedding day. As soon as I had a call with Chanler I knew right away she was the wedding planner I wanted to book. She has a calm but very cheerful demeanor, and brings such a positive vibe to all things. While Ma Maison did require me to book a day of planner, looking back I would book Chanler whether it was required or not because she took so much stress off my plate during the pre-planning process & made my wedding day run smoother than butter! Let's talk details: --> Pre-planning process: While I booked the "day of planning" package, services actually start ~6 weeks out where Chanler took over all of my vendor & contract communication (so helpful!). Even before the 6 week timeline, Chanler and I met for coffee so that I could tell her my wedding plans and ask questions. From there, Chanler put together an initial timeline that we were able to make changes to along the way. This was extremely helpful because I had no idea where to start with a timeline. Chanler also provided me with pre-planning documents and checklists which was kept us on track. She did this in a shared excel/word doc which made it so EASY to make comments to eachother & have timely communication. Every bride knows how stressful wedding planning can be, and Chanler made the process organized to help me not get over-whelmed. -->Rehearsal: My wedding party was SO IMPRESSED with Chanler! She is spunky and professional & did an amazing job getting our large wedding party (20 people total + parents) to follow instructions. Chanler did a great job getting our wedding party to listen and have a successful rehearsal but to also enjoy it (other weddings I’ve been in, it can sometimes feel like a chore). EVERYONE LOVED CHANLER! -->Wedding day: This is where the magic happens! Chanler and her team were just out of this world amazing on the wedding day. They are so professional, and helped us follow the timeline. It was truly like MAGIC. Not once did I feel stressed with the timeline or was thinking "what's next". I just got to live in the moment and enjoy my wedding day with my husband, family, and friends. My Mom, and bridal party just kept raving about how wonderful Chanler and her team was, they made the day run so smoothly! -->Overall: If I could give more than 5 stars for Chanler I would. She is truly the best in the business, and deserves all of the accolades. She is professional, organized, calm, and brings such an amazing energy that is hard to describe until you meet her. She handled every curveball with such grace and successfully guided us through a process that was brand new to everyone involved. I already had a fully-fledged design/vision in mind for the wedding and most of my vendors already booked when I hired her. Not only did she help me find any vendors I was missing to complete the vision, she effectively communicated with vendors she was familiar with and new ones to perfectly execute the wedding of my dreams. I am admittedly a control freak so being able to say I was very relaxed on my wedding day, knowing that Beth and her team were taking care of everything, is not something I say lightly. Tragically, I had a family death ~20 days before my wedding and had to change course on a dime. My nerves were shot and I was in a grief fog. Jessika graciously stepped in and helped reorganize where necessary, working gently and thoughtfully. I don't think I would have gotten through the day without her. I recommend Jessika and the 36th Street team very highly -- as they are intuitive, caring, experienced and organized.

Jessika was not only my wedding planner, but she was my friend, therapist, confidante, and biggest supporter throughout the process of not only the normal wedding planning stress but add on planning a wedding during a freaking pandemic. She was on top of COVID safety guidelines for events and made sure to communicate that with me to ensure that our wedding would happen with all the right safety protocols. Being a COVID bride and moving forward with our wedding despite the state of the world, you really do need someone to be your support system and be in your corner - and Jessika was exactly that. On our actual wedding day, she made sure to fight to ensure that the vision I had dreamed up, I would be able to keep. I can absolutely say my wedding day was the perfect day because of Jessika and her team. From keeping all my vendors in line, building out our timeline, set up, making sure I was hydrated and breaking down our wedding at 12:30 in the morning, Jessika freaking did it all. Her only instruction for me was to be in the moment, and enjoy our special day. If you’re currently looking for a wedding planning group, look no further. It was absolutely worth every penny. When our wedding was over my husband said, I quote “What are we going to do without Ren?” From the beginning, she identified how, when, at what pace we wanted to plan our wedding. Looking back, I don’t know what we would have done without her with us each having full-time jobs with really inflexible hours. She was available late at nights if we needed, conference phone calls, quick lunch break briefs. She made the process so flexible, yet incredibly structured, and that alone alleviates so much stress. The tools, resources, contacts, input and advice, and knowledge that 36th Street sets you up with is invaluable. I remember in so many situations saying “How am I supposed to know what I want? I’ve never been married before, ugh,” Ren was our light and guidance on just about every detail, and even was there to show us and check off the list the details that we didn’t even know we were forgetting. As I think most couples do, we definitely had parts and pieces of a vision for our wedding in the beginning. Ren took all those great things and seamlessly wove it together, with all the other things we never knew we needed or, more importantly, had to have (like a silent generator, who knew). We chose a downtown Austin atypical, historic venue that wasn’t your all-inclusive wedding venue. Ren had every single element in check, and exactly what we dreamed. We personally had a request to be able to flip our ceremony space to allow the historic home to be a beautiful nighttime backdrop to our reception and dance floor. Ren did her magic and was our voice between vendors. She made all possible, and we were even able to use our rentals and floral arrangements in multiple areas. From the inception of our planning process, Ren always presented Plan A with a Plan B, and maybe even Plan C in the back of her mind. She can evolve anything, idea, disaster or pandemic, into just the wedding you were always envisioning. Emotions run high on your wedding day, small things all of a sudden matter, but she was there and grounded for me (and in turn my husband, mother, MIL, and so on) – she’s was attentive to every detail and made everything truly just right and perfect, our ideal evening, timely but relaxing, gorgeous and aweing, and the best night of our lives. From the moment we initially video conferenced with Ren, to her helping to send us off after our reception, hiring Ren was one the best decision we made when planning our wedding! We hired Ren to step in a few months out before the big day to help lock in all of the details and also coordinate the run of show on the day of our wedding. Here are some of the main reasons why we absolutely loved and would recommend hiring Ren for your wedding: • From the start, Ren was/is completely genuine and has developed some really strong references from florists to photographers, and also had experience at our venue, all of which was extremely helpful throughout the process. I’m admittedly a control freak but Ren was absolutely crucial to plug in the gaps and ensure we were covering all of our bases in the weeks leading up to our wedding. When we were two months out, Ren stepped right in to take on most of the conversations with the band, photographer, florist, etc. and it took a HUGE amount of pressure off our backs in the lead up to the event. • As with any wedding, there were some unexpected issues that came up right before the wedding and during the reception, and Ren and her team’s ability to help on the fly was unsurpassed. For example, my husband actually knocked a full glass of red wine all over my wedding dress during the dinner portion of the night (don’t worry, we laugh about it now!), and Ren and her team snapped into putting together an action plan. They coordinated with my bridesmaids, got the key to our hotel suite in downtown Austin, sent one of her people to retrieve a back up dress, and got back in time so I could change and play it off as a planned outfit change. Simply amazing and we were so thankful for Ren’s calmness and planning throughout this portion of the night. • On the day of, we were so happy with Ren and her team’s professionalism and their attitude about the wedding itself. They were so incredibly on top of the run of show, helping with herding guests, and were genuinely fun to work with as we proceeded through the night. It was wonderful working with a collective group of powerhouse women who obviously love what they do and have a true passion for weddings! Ren, we can't thank you enough for helping us throw one of the best days of our lives so far!

She has so many industry relationships and was able to tailor her recommendations to us based on our vision and budget. One of the things we loved most about Jessika was her thoroughness throughout the entire process. From our 3-hour initial planning meeting to countless vendor proposal revisions to our endless questions in the lead-up to our big day, she was always so patient with us and thoughtful with her suggestions. She’s extremely solutions-oriented and goes above and beyond for her clients. One example of this is that she allowed us to ship misc. items like our guest book, welcome sign, etc. to her home (!!) because my husband and I moved to California during the wedding planning process and had nowhere to ship them. We never felt like any of our ideas or questions were silly because she always considered them genuinely and has the most optimistic, cheerful attitude. During the week of our wedding, I had the utmost confidence in Jessika that our wedding would be executed perfectly, and I truly felt like I could relax and just enjoy the moment. That was no small feat as our wedding venue has an extremely short set-up window (2 hours!), but I never felt any of the stress that I’m sure Jessika and her teammates were feeling that day! She put together a shareable pinterest board for the both of us and from there she was inside my head and knew exactly what vendors I should use, where to get the taper candles (oh yeah, I learned new words along the way too), what flowers would bring it all to life...you name it, she could find it. Those were just a few of the hundreds of details she put together. When I saw the final product, I was in tears...lots of happy tears. I got thank you cards from guest after our wedding thanking us for inviting them to the most beautiful wedding they've ever seen and all of that was owed to Jessika. My Grandma even sent Jessika a thank you note. All of this to say, these are just the duties we saw her do, none of this to mention the unseen jobs she was doing behind the scenes. About 6 weeks before the wedding we had a walk through at Laguna Gloria where Jessika coordinated bringing all of our table rentals (chair, linen, plates, glasses, silverware) so we could see what it would look like and asked our florist and caterer to join to answer any questions and tweak plans / design. After the walk through Jessika sat down with my mom and I to talk through the full day, identifying open areas we still needed to work on. I can't tell you how relieved my mom and I felt after that meeting knowing that Jessika had every little detail under control. When it came to the night Jessika and her team were fabulous. The look and entire vibe of the wedding was exactly what I wanted. I felt like I was in my Pinterest board it was so perfect -- many of my friends commented on the amazing night, saying they felt like they were in Tuscany with the long tables and candles we had and that it was wedding #goals. Oh and did I mention we had a high of 100 degrees that September day? Jessika made sure we were prepared for that too with plenty of fans & water. No one even mentioned the weather and the dance floor was packed until the wedding ended.

Beth + her team did an amazing job at making everything looks beautiful and exactly the way I had wanted/ imagined it to be. It's not easy getting 140 guests + multiple vendors to follow typical procedures, but it was done with a breeze. If anything went wrong on my wedding day, I didn't notice and that's how it should be! ve a clue how to plan a wedding, but we didn't begin to grasp the complexity behind organizing one. From our very first meeting with Ren, we knew she was the woman for the job! We ironed out ALL of the logistics. Ren created a master planning spreadsheet for us that included everything from budget, design, guest list, monthly/weekly task list and vendor contact/payment list. This was especially helpful as we were planning a wedding for 300+ people and had 6 months to do it. Ren helped us every step of the way, and we wouldn't have been able to do it without her. My husband travels often for work, and she was always flexible with our scheduled meetings. We truly felt like we were her only clients! She was accommodating, straight forward and always pleasant. As you can imagine, Ren is very detail-oriented! She was always there to help us weigh the pros and cons when choosing between anything, from flavors of cake that would satisfy 300 different palates, to the colors of napkins/tablecloths that would look best with the design, to the lighting for the band/tent. She very patiently helped us navigate each and every scenario and every detail to ensure we got what we hoped for. We could always count on Ren to give her educated opinion when asked, yet we never felt like she was trying to steer us in one direction vs. another. Simply put, during the planning phase she was everything we could have asked for and more. The week before our wedding, we ran into more than one predicament out of anyone's control... Austin was in the midst of a monsoon and our Deacon had also become very ill. Ren came in and saved the day/weekend! (I swear she has a superwoman cape in her "just in case" planning bag.) She already had a "weather plan" set and ready to implement! She re-designed our entire rehearsal dinner to be under a tent for shelter, had heaters rented and on stand-by, floor mats and clear umbrellas - all ready to go! Ren is also very active in the Austin community and reached out to the Austin Diocese to help us find another Deacon that was available. And just like that, all of our problems were solved and we were ready to walk down that aisle! She also dealt extremely professionally with the venue that we had picked out before meeting Ren. They were not easy to deal with, yet during the wedding weekend we didn't even notice. Ren and her team were amazing buffers for us on our special day/weekend. Ren Newey is everything a bride and groom could hope for!! She is a great problem-solver, a brilliant planner, a trustworthy friend and confidant. Simply put, Ren is literally everything you wish a planner embodied. She was extremely kind and helpful to ALL family members and friends. She sent out her personal cellphone number to our friends and family and let any guest to reach with miscellaneous questions/concerns. They had many and all were answered expeditiously. Ren helped us pull off the biggest party of our lives and we will forever be grateful. I would highly recommend her and her staff with 36th Street Events to every couple! h was the easy winner! She made me feel so relaxed and confident, and one of the biggest deciding factors was that she starts 2 months prior to the wedding, as opposed to just month of. On top of that, she was always available to answer my questions for the entire year leading up to the wedding, which some month of coordinators do not do. She ran a few wedding errands for us two days prior to the wedding so that my mom and I could spend time with our family, which we will always be grateful for. I live out of town and was really worried about being able to help my daughter plan her wedding. I was further stressed over it being an outdoor wedding. When I met Beth, I felt a complete sense of relief. Not only is she warm, caring, and friendly, but she knows this business backwards & forwards. She recommended awesome vendors for catering, flowers, cake, music, rentals, etc. She gave us a couple of choices in each category and told us the pros and cons of each. We met with her multiple times during the course of the 6 month period we had to plan the wedding. Beth always had a smile on her face and was never frustrated, even when we asked a gazillion questions. When it came time to make a decision on the "rain" plan, she calmly gave us her thoughts on the matter and let us decide. We didn't need them as it was a beautiful, starry night! She was unphased when her sandals broke at the rehearsal:) She just kept going! Beth remained in close contact with each vendor and made sure they knew exactly what was ordered and expected of them. Beth went above and beyond the call of duty. She made sure the bride & groom were always taken care of...made sure they had the drink of their choice at hand. Always checking in with them to see if they needed anything. They were treated like royalty! Beth saved the day for me when she realized I wasn’t around when the bride & groom were going to have their first dance. She literally tracked me down and for that, I will be forever grateful!!! I would have been sick if I had missed such a special moment. The night was perfect - not a single glitch because of Beth's expertise. She is just as valuable as the photographer or any other key player in a wedding. Beth was worth every penny and more!!! She turned this beautiful wedding into a "magical" one for our entire family. Beth is a super passionate, beautiful young lady out to do the best for EVERY event she plans or coordinates!

So, I was a little worried about who would be helping me and if they would understand my vision. Jessika just GETS IT. If there was something that wasn't coming across just right, she made sure to figure it out. She went above and beyond to make our wedding feel like "US" and she nailed it. On the day of, Jessika and the staff at 36th Street Events made sure everything was perfect, so that we could really just enjoy ourselves and be a part of everything. We had a pretty laissez faire attitude about wedding planning, and she kept us on track throughout the entire process, remembering every little detail. She kept great notes and records of our decisions, and sent us friendly reminders when we needed to handle something. Jessika also helped us scope out the whole budget from the beginning, and then would give us a short list of reasonably priced options/vendors for each thing so that we didn’t have to do endless research ourselves. That alone reduced sooo much of the stress of wedding planning. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, people kept saying how amazing it was that I didn’t seem stressed about anything, but Jessika never seemed stressed, so it was pretty easy to feel like everything was going to turn out alright — and it did! It was all perfect! The only thing we’re sad about is that we’re not going to be working with her anymore!
