401 Gourmet Caterers

401 gourmet is an amazing wedding caterer. I don't think I could speak more highly of them! The owner Mark answered all of my (many) questions promptly and with grace. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone was talking about it at the wedding. They even boxed up leftovers for people to have at the after party! Mark worked very closely with us on the menu, food allergies, and doing a site visit ahead of the wedding. I would recommend him to anyone!

I simply cannot express how grateful I am for Mark and his catering team. We met with Mark in November in 2021 when we were considering our wedding catering. Mark had us come in for a tasting and it was absolutely unbelievable. He treated us to appetizers and mini portions of the entrees we were considering. As soon as we left we KNEW Mark was our guy. He was very receptive to our unique idea for serving dinner in a small plate style and basically told us “anything is possible”. Mark and his team were a true dream to work with and anyone hosting an event would be lucky to have them. His team even sought my dad out to make sure he got the scallop wrapped in bacon he was looking for! I have told any of my engaged friends (or anyone hosting an event) they MUST reach out to 401 Gourmet because they are simply the BEST. I honestly cannot say enough good things about 401 Gourmet.

I can't speak highly enough of this company. I worked with Mark, who treated me as though my wedding was the most important one he had even though my party was only 18 people (micro wedding). He was responsive and helpful from start to finish. I had 3 weeks to plan my wedding, and he made is completely seamless. In the initial stages, I was provided with options for different needs including food allergies and Vegan options. They helped me navigate needs I would forget to ask for as well. They were a one-stop-shop for rentals as well (helped me coordinate table, linen, place setting, etc rentals). The food was absolutely exquisite from appetizer to soup to salad to main course. I could not decide between sour or salad, so I chose both. The pear salad, the tomato fennel crab soup- both were amazing. The steaks were cooked to a perfect temperature. The swordfish was juicy. The Thai Curry Veggie plates were licked clean. All the staff who assisted were super wonderful. The servers were discrete and helpful. Everyone was so cheery- it felt like they were just as excited for my wedding as my guests were. The team did a fantastic job of cleaning up everything and leaving the venue spotless. I live out of state, but will absolutely use 401 every time I travel to MA at every opportunity.

These guys really helped make our wedding special! They were easy to work with, always professional, and their product is definitely above and beyond the standard catered fare. Over a year later, I still sometimes get compliments on the oysters they shucked during our cocktail hour.

The work that Brian and Max do is amazing, they truly go above and beyond! Having worked with 401 Catering & Events as an Event Coordinator and as a customer of theirs, I cannot recommend them enough. Their presentation is amazing, and well, the food is the best. Both Brian and Max have such a passion for their product, that it shows and it makes their catering experience stand out among all the others. If you have a chance to book 401 Catering & Events for your wedding, do it!

We hired 401 Catering & Events for our wedding. The food was incredible and service impeccable! Max and Brian were extremely accommodating and answered any and all questions we had about our big day ASAP and in full detail. The raw bar put our cocktail hour over the top, it was a real crowd pleaser! We couldn’t of been more pleased with our experience.

Amazing food and staff! We booked 401 catering for our wedding, and didn't have to worry about a thing. Beautiful set up and high quality food. Guest raved about the spread, and some of my friends even booked them for their upcoming weddings. Highly recommended!

We used 401 for our rehearsal dinner in CT and had them bring oysters and little neck clams for the half shell. They were excellent. Brian actually ha his own oyster farm and if you are lucky he will bring some of his own. They are the best in the world!! The caters did a great job setting up and serving all of the guests!

Brian was amazing to work with... after working with several stuffy and misleading caterers it was so refreshing to work with someone who was laid back and as excited as we were about our cocktail hour! He was professional, organized, prompt, and people are still raving about our raw bar to this day! Not to mention we had dreams of our oysters served out of a wooden boat and he ordered one for us as a surprise and had great table decor!
