Booking 402 Events was the BEST decision I made for my wedding! They made all the planning, set-up, day of, and tear down so easy for myself and family members. Their execution and skills really allowed us to enjoy every step of the process and not feel stressed. Their communication is phenomenal and they have so many connections to make all your wedding dreams come true. My husband and both of our family’s have not stopped raving about 402 Events. Do not hesitate to book this amazing team!

We did the wish package for our October wedding and I cannot recommend 402 Events enough! Having a good day-of coordinator was especially important for us, since neither of us currently lives in Omaha. Steven was super helpful walking us through the various packages during our first meeting, and our coordinators Shayla and Alex did an amazing job making sure our day ran smoothly. They were also very responsive and helpful in the days leading up to the wedding as well. If anything went wrong, we didn't notice!

We did the Wish Package with 402 Events for our wedding at the Durham. We are so thankful we decided to hire them. They were so organized and easy to work with. It saved us so much time and stress having them there. Everything went so smoothly and everything looked beautiful. Most importantly, we and our families could just relax and enjoy the day.

We used 402 Events for some of our decor & lighting set up as well as the Wish Package for our wedding at The Diamond Room! They did a fantastic job with setting up Edison bulb lighting behind our head table - it looked awesome and exceeded my expectations! They also provided a boxwood greenery wall and even hung up our previously purchased neon sign for us so we didn't have to worry about it! They came and tore down everything that same evening - I never had to worry about a thing. Sarah was our coordinator for the Wish Package and did such an amazing job! She is so organized and met with us several times prior to the wedding to make sure we had everything in order. She even helped us design a welcome/seating chart sign that turned out beautiful! Overall I would definitely recommend 402 Events!!

Finding 402 Events and hiring them for the Dream Planning Package was the best decision we could have ever made! Steven, Marley, and the rest of the team had everything laid out for us to make our wedding planning seamless and enjoyable. Their organization and attention to detail made us feel confident that our big day would be a success. They were happy to accomodate our must-haves and suggested great ideas when we were unsure. 402 helped us from start to finish, including to help transform our venue by using globe lighting and pillar draping. We were over the moon with the end result and have already recommended 402 Events to everyone we know!!

402 Events did an incredible job! We worked with Bailey and she was excellent! Our wedding took place in Omaha but my husband and I live in Saint Louis. Bailey was extremely flexible and would meet with my mom in person and I would Zoom in for our planning meetings. For our reception we had 402 Event’s production team set up an extensive amount of draping, globe lighting, and they installed multiple chandeliers. Our venue was completely transformed and it felt like we walked into a fairy tale. It was so beautiful! Bailey made sure that everything moved seamlessly throughout our wedding day. We are so happy with our decision to use 402 Events!

Steven and his team were so wonderful to work with. We met with them and told them what we wanted our space to look like and they just did an amazing job transforming the space. They were flexible, easygoing, and were able to make changes for us throughout the process. I would recommend 402 Events to all my family and friends! I will forever be indebted to Jordan and the 402 Event Services staff! Jordan was with me every step of the way as we planned our wedding in the uncertain times of the pandemic. When I booked the Desire (partial planning) package, I anticipated a few short meetings to answer questions and then help with day of coordination. What I got was a true wedding consultant and planner, there to answer all of my questions and help with planning along the way, as well as an awesome team to make sure everything (I truly mean everything) went smoothly the day of our wedding. Jordan helped communicate with vendors, source items we needed to purchase for favors/decor, and any other crazy thing I came up with (including having our alma mater’s mascot at the reception)! She also helped to design and coordinate our rehearsal dinner. The day of, her team worked all day to make sure everything went perfectly, from the ceremony to the reception, helping to transport and set up items at our different venues. At the reception, the team brought my husband and I our dinner and drinks through the night and made sure we stayed on schedule. THANK YOU to Jordan and her incredible staff for all their help to make our perfect day a reality.

We had them come out and do lights and drapes in a Morton building for a wedding. Turned out exactly like we talked about they were very friendly. Would totally use them again.

We had Paige as of day of coordinator, and she was wonderful! She was positive and calm on a day that can be very stressful. 402 Event Services was very flexible with us during a year with a lot of uncertainty.

I hired 402 Events, specifically their Wish Package and I “wished” I hadn’t. 402 was to decorate and provide Day of Coordination services as well as Vendor coordination. I was paired with Sarah who unfortunately was inexperienced. We received several complaints from our vendors including our florist, photographer, DJ, Bus Rental company and Venue. She confused our vendors, was not prepared for meetings, and provided more chaos than organization. I stepped in and managed all our vendors to ensure there was no confusion with expectations. For same day coordination my venue stepped in and managed the day, including 402 Events to ensure everything went over smooth. I provided direct feedback to the owner following the wedding of my dissatisfaction and that I could provide examples from vendor feedback, texts and emails and he stated he would research and get back to me approximately 3 weeks or so. I sent an email 3 weeks later to get an update to find out that he needs more time due to personal issues, being too busy and coordination of his internal employees’ schedules to meet with them to get feedback, taking several weeks additionally to address. By the time this is addressed, all the issues/concerns become stale. The customer service has been far from acceptable as his company was paid upfront for the work done, however I paid $750 for a service that I did not receive. Although the lighting draping and backdrop were provided as discussed, the consultative package and customer service, I would not recommend as you should not have to wait for your concerns to be addressed.

Admittedly we hired 402 Services late into our wedding planning. Originally we considered flying in a wedding coordinator from my hometown of Seattle, who had done several other friends' weddings - but it no longer made sense with COVID. We questioned the value we would get from the Desire Package since we already had a date/venue and had already booked several vendors. I'm so glad that we chose to budget for 402 as it dramatically impacted the success of our September wedding weekend, which was tip toeing around the COVID pandemic. I would consider myself highly detail-oriented/Type A - if we document how something should go or a detail that can't be missed, I expect it to be executed. If this sounds like you, then you need Colleen! I worked closely with Colleen to perfect our wedding weekend timeline (we had events Friday through Sunday - logistics galore!) and hire the remaining vendors that we needed. In hindsight, our Seattle contact wouldn't have been nearly as resourceful or well-versed as Colleen. In addition to facilitating several details with vendors, I was so impressed with the commitment and time Colleen put into price shopping - especially when we unexpectedly needed several rentals - a detail that surely would've been caught sooner if we had hired 402 sooner! I enjoyed the centralized documentation in Google Drive, and always appreciated Colleen triaging my emails with details here and there. I felt like I could ask Colleen candid questions without judgment or persuasion. Wedding planning with Colleen was always professional and yet somehow always felt like planning with your best friend who was an expert at these things. Another benefit of hiring 402 was that we were able to hire bartenders/servers at the last minute for our cocktail welcome reception the evening before our wedding. We didn't necessarily need bartenders to regulate alcohol (it was at our home), but they handled keeping everything stocked, replenishing ice to keep things cold, ensuring everything looked nice, picking up trash -- and most importantly ensured my house wasn't trashed for when we got back home after the big wedding weekend. This took a huge burden off my bridal party, as well, allowing all wedding guests to truly enjoy the evening and focus on socializing. In the weeks after our wedding, our family and friends sing high praises of Colleen. In fact, my mom still can't remember most of our bridal party's names -- but she can tell you all about Colleen. I've learned of little details here and there of how she saved the day without me having a clue it was ever an issue. Her quick problem solving and immaculate attention to detail was exactly what I needed to be at ease the day-of but also to be proud looking back on all the little details we knocked out of the park. I really enjoyed the whole wedding weekend, as if I were my own guest, because everything was handled. She ran some last minute day-of errands for us that were executed like a breeze. Her partner, Jordan, was also super helpful for the last minute things that inevitably crept up. Planning our wedding was a lot of work and borderline exhausting but the actual wedding weekend itself was absolutely perfect and without a doubt due to the master orchestration that Colleen led.

402 Events is without a doubt 5 stars business!!! We initially sat down with Steven for production/rental services, but as wedding planning continued, we also added the wish wedding package to our order. Every aspect was worth every penny!! We received so many compliments for the ceiling drapery, mini lighting, up lighting, and pipe and draping throughout our venue. Steven knew exactly what to do to create the atmosphere we were looking for and did it within the budget we provided. Lindsey and Tenia (our day of coordinators) were total rock stars and helped ease my stress leading up to and on the big day. I honestly didn’t have to worry about anything, and I could not have been more grateful to have them both a part of our day. If you’re looking for event services - 402 is truly the best there is!

We couldn’t be happy with how our wedding turned out! Hiring 402 event services was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we got many compliments on how beautiful the reception looked! Jordan and Colleen did a great job at keeping us stress free throughout the planning process and especially the day of the wedding, we are so thankful for them. Just when we thought we forgot something, they already had it figured out. We also liked that they communicated with us in a timely manner! The draping and globe lighting looked amazing and were also one of our favorite things from the reception!

They were prompt with their emails and always answered our questions. I love how they took initiative to reach out to the owner at our wedding venue to arrange for set-up and tear-down. We had them do globe light on the ceiling, a lit back drop for our cake table and then lighting behind the head table. 402 completely transformed our wedding space!! The drapery & lighting were perfection. Warm and inviting. My jaw dropped when I walked in! We got married in Sioux Falls, SD and were struggling to find an event services company that met our needs and could work within our budget. I was referred to 402 Event Services out of Omaha by our DJ, Pinnacle Prouctions. I was able to connect with Steven and the very next day I had a proposal and quote that included everything that we wanted...for half the cost of what any Sioux Falls vendor could do--and that was including travel & hotel!!!! Not only were they a great value, Steven, Colleen, and team went literally ABOVE AND BEYOND what my husband and I could ever have imagined. They did lighting, celing draping and chandelier effects, as well as overall event setup/teardown, coordination, and management. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. She relieved so much stress and managed so many things for me the week of the wedding. She was one of the main reasons our day went absolutely perfect. I recently got married at The Pella at Blackstone and 402 did our lighting in both the ceremony and reception space. We used globe lighting and draping in the reception space and a back light with Edison lights in the ceremony space. Everything was gorgeous and Steven was wonderful to work with!

Hands down the best event service around, totally unmatched in the Omaha area. If you want to have the event of your dreams, use 402 event services! Everything about their services is amazing, especially the communication! Would highly recommend using them!

We had a wonderful experience working with Autumn! She came prepared for all of our meetings and we felt like she really wanted to get to know us as a couple in order to ensure that our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. Having a day-of-coordinator at the event gave us piece of mind and allowed us to relax, knowing that Autumn was capable of handling any issues that came up. She was calm and professional and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. We also had several guests, as well as our officiant, tell us how impressed they were with her. If we were planning another wedding (fingers crossed we never have to), we would absolutely trust Autumn to coordinate it.

We booked the Wish Planning package and had Samyra as our Day of Coordinator for our wedding, and we could not be happier! My husband and I agree that this was the best money we spent for the entire wedding. Samyra was so on top of everything, she set up and tore down our decorations, and anticipated our needs! She even ran to Jimmy Johns for us when the sandwiches we ordered did not show up. Thank you so much Samyra for all your help, we are so grateful, you made our day PERFECT!

My husband and I were just married at Arbor Day Farm in late September. There was a surprise rainstorm that blew in and we made the snap decision to hold the ceremony inside the barn instead of outdoors. 402 not only installed additional lighting with less than 24 hours notice, but made a space that I was not excited about into a beautiful, well lit space. An EPIC event...not your typical wedding! We hired 402 Event Services and selected their Dream Planning Package. They implemented our vision beyond our expectations. I always joked that our wedding was an event....it really was a true production. We had two entertainers with riders that 402 Event Services executed perfectly! They handled the coordinating of flights, accommodations, security, equipment, sound checks, lighting, menus, and a host of other items. We were engaged on New Years Eve and shortly afterwards I was diagnosed with Cancer. 402 Event Services became the GOAT (greatest of all time). They were very professional yet very personable. Their list of vendors were amazing as they exercised the same level of professionalism. We received many compliments on our invitations as they set the stage for what was to come. We would say Yes/No, approve and pay which was exactly what I needed. We were contemplating postponing our wedding due to my health. However, they allowed me to be stress-free and focus on healing. Our wedding day was Stellar!!! The rest of the staff were just as professional and nice. Many of our guest complimented on how well things flowed and that there was never a dull moment. We highly recommend 402 Event Services! They installed ceiling drapery w/lights for our daughter's wedding ceremony, and it softened the space to give it the perfect wedding feel. Steven & Kelsen were both extremely helpful & very friendly throughout the entire process. Kelsen & his team did a great job with install and made things effortless on our end! 402 Event Services is a great company providing excellent service.

Steven and his team did an amazing job on the backdrops and uplighting. I loved the way the head table backdrop turned out, it definitely completed the picture! The Satin material was the way to go, especially since we were looking to cover up the venue's walls and company store. The uplighting was commented on by many as the placement truly highlighted the whole space. Lastly, I appreciated how calm his team was during set up with all of the grief we got from our venue space. They listened to all concerns and made changes as necessary to make it all perfect.

We used Megan for our day of coordination and I could not have done it without her! They were really easy to communicate with throughout the process and she went above and beyond expectations!

402 Event Services did all the ceiling drapery, globe lighting, pipe and drape, ceiling to floor draping/lighting and chandeliers for our wedding reception which was located in a fair building (aka needed some help to pretty it up). All of the decorations were amazing. It was exactly as we had imagined up and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Even our guests were commenting on how nice the fair building looked. The staff was kind, professional, and efficient. They even worked with us on takedown and picked up the key from the venue itself since we were already out of town on our honeymoon. Dave and Grant did the DJ, MC, sound, and lighting for our wedding. Everyone we worked with to plan was professional and Dave and Grant brought a great energy to the evening. I was hesitant at first to spend money on a day of coordinator, but I am SO happy we chose to invest in this expense after working with our coordinator and 402 Events as a whole. I chose 402 because of their affordable, reasonable, pricing and the great impression the owner of the company made at our first meeting; I felt from that meeting that 402 Events would help us meet our wedding day/month out planning needs (Wish package). Our assigned coordinator was helpful not only for me but for our families and bridal party as well as both a point of contact and as someone to do tasks throughout the day to help make it all run smoothly. There were a few coordinator-related hiccups throughout the day that could probably have been avoided but overall, nothing went wrong, and we were very appreciative of our coordinator's help from the beginning of our time working with her! I would absolutely recommend 402 Events for the Wedding Wish package! I was able to relax and enjoy the day significantly more knowing that I had the support of our coordinator!

Steven was so great to work with. He was responsive and very organized. We opted to go with uplighting, lit backdrop, and DJ for our wedding. The lighting and backdrop looked gorgeous. The guys who set that up were very professional. As for the DJ, we were a little upset that not all the "must play" songs were played, but we understand the DJ has to feel out the mood of the dance floor, and all-in-all were very happy with him. His Emcee, however, got incredibly intoxicated. He was doing a lot of yelling on the microphone, which was obnoxious. After the reception ended, my husband spent about 45 minutes trying to talk him out of driving home because he couldn't even stand straight (in the pouring rain to boot). I have been assured by Steven that the Emcee will no longer be working with 402 Events. I would definitely recommend 402 for the lighting and backdrop!

The venue was beautifully decorated with the draping and lighting. It was exactly what I wanted.

We loved working with Steven at 402 Events. From the very beginning, it was clear he knew what to do when I explained what I was hoping to accomplish. We were aiming to dress up a church hall, make it a bit more intimate and elegant, and that is exactly what 402 events delivered. The drapes and garden lights were beautiful, and matched the up-lighting around the rest of the room. 402 Events was also able to manage not drill any holes in the walls, as requested by the church, and ingeniously used magnets to set up the lights and drapes! It looked beautiful, and people who attended Donut Sunday, the next day, even expressed wanting the drapes to stay up longer! I give them a 5/5 star review!

402 Events was great to work with! They offered a variety of packages so I could choose what worked best for me and Rachel (our event coordinator) did an awesome job! I was able to relax and have fun on my wedding day knowing she would be taking care of everything!

The ceiling drapes and chandeliers brought the whole room together!! It looked amazing and we got many compliments on how gorgeous the room looked. Steve was easy to meet with and communicate with via email. He even let us change our plans twice (with ease). He is very accommodating. I think his prices are fair which is why we chose to try his company versus a few others. I did not hear any complaints from our venue about the set up and tear down and 402 Events spoke directly to my venue to schedule times (therefore I did not have to worry about it). I would recommend them to others!

We used the three panel lighted backdrop at The Players Club and it truly elevated the space and was such a nice addition! My mom says it is the best money we spent!! Renting and paying for the panel was extremely easy and the staff set up and tear down, making it super simple for you. Would highly recommend this company!!

We had Jordan as our day of coordinator and she was amazing! We had her just decorate and tear down at the end of the night! She made everything so stress free for me and my family! 402 Event Services certainly makes sure to take care of you and make your day the best possible. We used their production and day of services: - Draperies and backdrop – The draperies were beautiful and really softened the room. The backdrop was awesome and made for some pretty pics. - Day-of-coordinator – Colleen was our coordinator and she was amazing! She was always there for us with a drink if needed and, even though things were already decorated, she added some great touches. She was a great resource for etiquette and timeline questions and I was so relaxed on Saturday knowing she had everything covered. There is so much more I could say about what she did for us but I’ll end with this…if you don’t have a day-of-coordinator or don’t think you can afford one, make room in the budget for it. Because of her our friends and family were able to enjoy the wedding.

We were thrilled with 402 Events! We had the Wish Wedding package and hired them to do a room flip between our ceremony and reception. Our coordinator was FABULOUS and made our day go perfectly. I would recommend 402 Events to any bride who wants to let go of stress and worry and have the perfect wedding day!
