49North is hands down the best DJ service around. We held a low key weeding reception a couple weeks ago and they were timely, friendly and kept our party moving the whole day.

Corinthians (Big C) helped create a memorable wedding. Prior to the big day, he was prompt, helpful and his communication was on point. You can tell he loves what he does and he does it well. During our big day Big C went above and beyond to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves! I couldn’t recommend him more.

Corinthians of 49th North Entertainment did an excellent job! Our wedding reception party was full of life and energy. Our guests were up dancing all night long! Everyone at our wedding had a blast! Corinthians did a fantastic job at my daughter's wedding. He read the room well and played music that kept our guests dancing and having fun. We gave him parameters for music and he stayed within them. Corinthians did a great job making announcements and interacting with the wedding party and guests. He was professional and so much fun. He not only provided great music for the reception but also handled the ceremony music. I highly recommend Corinthians with 49North DJ Entertainment to anyone needing a DJ for any event.

We have worked with Corinthian several times. Most recently this year He helped us with a Destination couple who had many moving parts from a Ceremony outside in 25 knot winds on the first day and then a special reception the next day. With short notice he worked with the Couple’s family that had special performance that need special music. 49 North keeps the Dance Floor Hopping!!!

Corinthians was an excellent DJ for our wedding. As soon as I contacted him, he made himself very available to me and let me know he would be reachable through text, email, phone, or any other communication means up to the wedding. He was also very patient with us as things moved around or became uncertain. With all that goes into a wedding, we really appreciated not having to worry about the DJ. He also provided a questionnaire for us to fill out that really helped us figure out how things would go with the music, including a few things we may not have even thought of. And once at the event, he was approachable and flexible while also upholding our wishes as to who could make toasts, speeches, or requests. It is a relief knowing the DJ won't just let anyone grab the mic. Would definitely recommend.

We had SO many things go wrong at our wedding.. Picture taking took forever, dinner was delayed, and multiple fire alarms.. Least I can say, he was on top of it all! Continued to make people laugh and decrease the hunger/stress levels of our guests. We have had so many raving reviews from guests, makes me extremely happy to have him attending. He was very professional and polite throughout every aspect. we had a great time together! He definitely kept us on track for time (which is harder than you think).. Between him and I we had all our guests believing the fire alarms were planned, which was absolutely the BEST! We made SO many horrible moments fantastically hilarious! Thank you SO much for all your work, I know we did alot to keep you on your toes as well as our guests!

DJ Wiley did a great job keeping everyone entertained while we were gone getting photos. Helped to guide the party in the right direction, even through the fire alarm! Thank you so much!

Big C was able to step up and fill in on short notice for our big day. We met him over the phone the day before our wedding which was nerve racking but he was professional and friendly and reassuring over the phone. He did an outstanding job with the circumstances. He has a great feel for the crowd and was part of the party, everyone mentioned how much fun they had with him, not to mention he comes off as a really honest and earnest human being.

Highly recommend this DJ for all your events. He was extremely respectful of our wishes and put on one hell of a party.

49 North Entertainment is a definitely recommended. The experience was absolutely amazing, as 49 North's "Corinthians Wiley" brings much to the atmosphere. The live DJ mixing with LED along with the exciting vibe that hits the floor provides an absolutely amazing experience. The creativity of reception ideas and adaptability brings much to the table. Alongside much professional expertise of entertainment, Corinthians is extremely warm and welcoming whom seems to bring out the positive vibe in others.

I've been to a couple weddings where Big C was deejay-ing, his energy, the way he interacts with people and customer service is amazing!

This guy is awesome and brings ALL the amazing energy and fun you need to whatever event you’d like!! From weddings to birthday parties! We booked him for our wedding reception and we wouldn’t have gone with anyone else!!!! Prices aren’t bad either😜

Corinthians did an excellent job with our ceremony. We were pleased with the flow of the music and timing. The mic was a little off, but I believe that was because of the distance which was totally out of his control. However, we had several issues with our reception. There were two extra people with him (his wife and daughter) who were in attendance and then proceeded to act as guests. It was a complete surprise to us that they would be present at all as we were never asked if that would be ok, nor was it mentioned in the contract that anyone other than Corinthians would be there. The daughter is young and very sweet, and it is absolutely not her fault, but we feel that her parents should have been respectful of our wedding and not brought her at all. Every other adult or child present was an invited guest, and I am very upset thinking about all of the photos and video moments that these strangers are going to be present for on my big day. Especially at the end of the night when he was packing up and it was just us, our parents, and our bridal party hanging out at the fire (but also our DJs three-year-old daughter?). We feel it is very unprofessional to bring extra guests to a wedding, uninvited at any time, but that is particularly true during a pandemic. Part of our COVID mitigation plan was a set guest list limit with "bubbles" of people at each and every table, and we did not account for any additional people being present. We also feel he did not read the room well at all, as he continued to play music way too loud that no one was dancing to. I heard from multiple guests that he never played their requests and several bridesmaids shared that they witnessed him calling my MIL aggressive for trying to request older songs. I was also told he did not have songs that would be considered by many to be new, popular music (Lady Gaga?). I got to a point where I was so annoyed with the music being played and the complaints I was getting from my guests that instead of requesting any more songs, I requested that it all just be turned down. After about four requests from me, it took my husband asking before it finally stuck. We had asked for a specific acoustic song to be played in the background of my father's speech. I watched my dad confirm the song as Corinthians handed him the mic, and then multiple incorrect songs were played instead, some with lyrics and all way too loud (a bridesmaid seated near the booth later shared that others had to ask he turn the music down so they could hear the speech). Songs were not faded appropriately for the first dance or the mother/son dance, as was requested in multiple places. Also, we felt he spent just as much time away from his DJ booth taking photos with us and his child as he did at his booth doing the job we paid him for. We gave a tip at the end of the night because we had already planned to, but I do not believe we should have or that it was earned. I will be beyond upset if I get my wedding video and/or photos back and he/his family is in them, as I believe that is intrusive behavior from a vendor. We had initially been very excited to work with Corinthians after our first meeting as he made mention of valuing many of the things we were looking for from our vendors (professionalism and perfectionism), but would not recommend working with him now that we have had the experience.

This DJ did not play any of the requests that were asked of him right at the beginning, also written on the RSVP. When I ( mother of the groom)asked him to play something that people could get dancing to, he said not everyone likes every song. I told him, I did not say thatI did not like it, but, that he should read the crowd and see that people were not dancing. They were standing on the dance floor waiting and waiting and wanting to dance. He told me to stop being so aggressive and went into how he works clubs, knows what he’s doing,blah blah blah. I backed up and said, again, just look at your crowd. I am 61, LOVE to dance to anything that is fun and danceable. I spoke to many of the young people at the venue who said they had asked him to play such songs as YMCA, KC and the Sunshine, ACDC, Commadors and other rock and roll songs to which.... none were ever played. I did speak to the bride and ask her to speak to him but she did not want to get into it. So we did not get to dance more than about 25% of the time. Also, BIG STUFF HERE... He brought his wife and “adorable daughter, maybe age 5 and the daughter was on the dance floor quite a bit and wandered around the area and then was asked by the DJ as the DJ was leaving to hug the bride, hug the groom and many of the bridal party and pictures were taken by the DJ. With the safety precautions taken for COVID and the fact that this was a wedding in which there were 2 kids, 2 years old and 2 babies, This little girl is in many of the professional photos and we do not even know her. We were all asked not to use our own cameras and the DJ did just that. Please, do not get me wrong, family is ok as long as they stay with you, you are not our guests, you are hired to play music for us. I would highly recommend NOT using DJ C.

49North was amazing! Corinthians was so accommodating through my whole planning experience. It was his priority that I had the most special day, and he sure delivered! He played some costume mixes that were our style, and really got the party started! He was responsive each step of the way, and ensured to answer all of my questions! He checked in on me periodically through the planning months, and asked if we needed anything of him. He was so kind. His energy was so inviting, and he really cares about his clients. We had a last minute hiccup that could have really threw a wrench into our day, and he went out of his way to ensure everything went perfect. Highly recommend 49North for your most special day!

TLDR: Above and beyond! Out all of the things my wife and I had to do and plan for our wedding, working with our DJ was easily the most painless part (aside from the cake tasting). My suggestion to anyone interested in hiring this DJ is let him get to know and let him work his magic. When my wife and I first met with him he gave us a small packet to fill out that covered every aspect of the wedding from beginning to end and even covered some parts we had completely forgot about. After our initial meeting, he was very responsive to any questions we had. The day of the wedding, him and his setup crew arrived early and were very professional. He made sure that the wedding stayed on track and even was able to give us a few subtle audio queues to help remind us of what was next (very helpful when you're overwhelmed with everything that is happening). Between his vast selection of music and his since of humor, he brought the wedding to a whole new level and was able to get everyone up and moving and interacting with each other. I am thankful we were able to get him as our DJ and I would definitely hire him again in the future.

They were punctual, courteous, and on top of all the planning, which is such a relief that you don’t have to worry! If you want a wedding that will get people dancing, or want to create a fun atmosphere, hire them!

Big C was very professional and friendly. He was able to put sound together in far away places from where he was set up for the wedding, he was prepared. He played great music that family and friends enjoyed and without him the wedding entertainment would not have been as good as it was. He did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone.

Corinthians and Sizzle North Entertainment communicated with us our needs, wants, and desires from day one. They were extremely professional, courteous, friendly, and genuine...all qualities you won't necessarily find in their competitors. I highly recommend Corinthians and the staff of Sizzle North Entertainment for any function. We could not have been happier with them on our special day!

Sizzle North is an exceptional entertainment company that has always delivered exemplary service and value. From the planning stages to the actual event, Big C was so wonderful to work with. We had such a diverse group and he made sure that every music genre was covered and flowed together so effortlessly. I have been at other events with Sizzle North and Big C and they were excellent! I would recommend them again and again because they bring it and don't disappoint !

Big C of Sizzle North Entertainment was amazing! The nonprofit that I work for was the recipient of funds raised through a wearable art show, and Big C was there to DJ and MC the event. He brought so much energy and professionalism!! the music selection was phenomenal and a he made sure there wasn't a dull moment the whole show!! This is a family run business (his wife and son were there to set up and help during the show), and one that I would highly recommend for anything from a wedding to a fundraiser. Thanks Big C!!!

Big C and his team were so very professional from the moment I first spoke with him. He constantly reassured me that he has my back. I never once doubted him, he knew his profession, and he executed his role in our show with charisma and style. He never showed stress one time to me, even though things kept changing. The host was awesome, he had excellent party energy and was always smile. I love the vibe he gives to everyone. He can make a sad person smile. I would definitely be in touch for any event that i will be having in the future.

Sizzle North was the DJ for my 20th High School Reunion. Big C was very personable. He went through our contract to make sure we understood what his services entailed. We had a couple of meetings Prior to the event to make sure that he was providing us with is what we wanted. The music was great, he took in requests and really worked to get us all on the dance floor. The pricing was spot on. I recommend his services to anyone out there looking for a fun & hard working DJ. He can put the right spin on whatever you are looking for.

He is sure to include a great variety in his mixes that will appeal to your preferences, but that can also serve as cross generational and/or family friendly, depending on your wants/needs. Big C is an old friend and an incredible DJ. As I write this he is DJing many places including 104.9. He's a really nice guy and makes sure he has everything lined up the way you envision it. One teen who was at our wedding was thinking her homecoming would pale in comparison and that's saying a lot.
