570 Events

This DJ, Jay, kept our guests on the dance floor all night long and played the best music. 570 Events did our ceremony music as well as our cocktail music and reception. Everything went seamlessly. The only issue I had with them is that the communication was very, very poor. In paying for a vendor, a certain level of promptness and attention is expected. Although everything did turn out perfectly, the lack of communication added stress. Initially, it took 2 months for the contract to be sent over the year before we got married. On top of that, Nick had told me that he would call to discuss wedding details prior to our event when I had texted him one month out, inquiring about questions I had. Long story short, he never called and then told me he thought I was calling him. His text to me said, "I will call you at such and such time." When we did speak, one month out, he told me he had about 9 events before mine and that the discussion I wanted to have was "more of a 2 weeks out kind of thing." The payment was due two weeks out, so I just waited. Two weeks out came along, I had heard nothing. I asked him in an e-mail, text message, and finally a phone call the day the payment was due to please send me an invoice so that I could make our payment on time. Phone calls work best when communicating with Nick I learned. On top of that, even though the contract had different ways of online payment, he had me send a check from Virginia, the day the payment was due. That was kind of scary. Ultimately, the DJ we had the day of, Jay, was great and he even figured out how to add my Kululu QR code photos on a projector to be displayed throughout the wedding. I did meet Nick on the day of as well and he was very nice. I had no issues or concerns the day of and everything went seamlessly. I don't think another DJ could have done a better job, I just wish the communication had been a little bit better throughout the process. Making plans 4 days before the wedding when traveling from a different state was a bit unnecessary and ridiculous.

570 Events helped make our wedding day so special! We were able to have multiple factors to add in making our venue spectacular such as DJ, Videographers, Photo Booth, lighting effects and a light up dance floor in a package deal. We didn’t know our DJ until we were actually at the reception but we were able to customize our song list and submit a must play/do not play list, which was super important to us! The DJ was fantastic and the music gave us the vibe we wanted. Our videographers were so nice and super great as well. They seemed like they were really capturing everything without being too in your face. The lighting effects were awesome and our name illuminated on our tent ceiling really added to the atmosphere. The photo booth was a hit with our guests as well and super fun! The only cons (why I’m subtracting a star) were the communication was poor throughout the planning process and I truly didn’t know what to expect in terms of who our DJ and videographer was. I was told this prior but still got recommendations from multiple people for them. It was still slightly nerve wracking leading up to the date. Luckily, they provided us with amazing people and work, I just wish the communication was better throughout the whole process. Overall, I’m so happy we went with 570 Events and we’re so grateful for how much they added to making our day so special!

570 Events was great to work with and had great prices to offer! They provided us with a DJ (who was amazing and catered to our every want and need), uplighting, a projected monogram, and a photo booth with an attendant who was also very helpful. We would highly recommend using this company for your next event!

570 events where do I start….. my communication with Nick struggled up until the day of my wedding. He sent me my contract after I had to reach out a couple times. It was like pulling teeth. The week before my wedding I had to reach out to even find what information he needs from me such as songs as I wasn’t to sure what he needed. The conversation with him had be a bit worried as he seemed all over the place. Luckily the day of my wedding everything went quite smoothly. I did love my DJ, dance floor, up lighting and photo booth. Also, I had video done by then as well. The video people were great the day of and really showed great professionalism as well as the whole crew the day of. However, the professionalism with Nick is incredibly horrific. It would take days for a response no exact date of when I will be getting my video. He would say checking then never get back to me and would have to send another follow up and this happens for months after my wedding. When it came time to getting my teaser I was so happy with my teaser which I was happy for waiting. He said right after your wedding video will be soon. I said great. Someone I know had a wedding the same day got their wedding video a week later. I got mine a month or so after. My video was good but not as good as the teaser as that left me with high expectations. Leading up to getting my video he told me it would be uploaded the night of my follow up text with him. That night didn’t receive it. Sent him a follow up next day no response. Sent him another follow up that night nothing. The next day I wake up with the video in my email and no response to my texts. Still not follow up after that asking how I liked my video. I felt like I was a burden to this man who runs a company and I spent a great deal of money using his services. He really at this point needs and assistant as everyone has the same issue getting in contact with him. Would I recommend them I would maybe only recommend dj and photo booth. Get your video elsewhere and spend the extra money as you will be waiting forever for it and for a response from nick. As a bride it was the most inconvenient thing dealing with him and I wanted to pull my hair out. If you can deal with that then go for it otherwise they only got 3 stars because of his employees are great but he isn’t.

Pros - the up lighting they provided was spectacular and the photo booth was super fun and loved by all of our guests. Our DJ, Joel, was awesome. Cons - getting in contact with the owner, Nick, is very hard. I chased him for days at times for certain things. And I didn’t hear from him about our wedding day details until the Tuesday before our wedding. Also, I was severely disappointed in what songs were played at that wedding because the company asks for a ‘Must Play’ list and they only played about 5 or 6 songs my husband and I picked out of about 20 songs that we wanted to hear at our wedding.

Joel from 570 Events was our DJ for our wedding on 9/5/2021. He was INCREDIBLE. Our dance floor always had people on it and Joel listened to what we requested prior to the big day (no bad language, a different entrance, etc.). He also did a great job reading our guests and knowing what kind of music they would like. We received so much positive feedback after the wedding and a lot of it was directed at the music. Joel was great to work with so if you need a DJ, I would absolutely recommend Joel from 570 Events. We also used 570 Events for our photo booth. The photo booth was a huge hit at our wedding as it was very unique and different than your typical looking photo booth. We had the long mirror photo booth that printed out photos or sent them right to your phone. This is the second family wedding that we used 570 Events for their photo booth. Our guests really enjoyed it at both weddings. If you are in need of a photo booth, 570 Events has awesome options for photo booths.

Nick is AWESOME. We booked 570 events for our uplighting, dance floor, and chair rental. Let me tell you, they TRANSFORMED the room. It looked amazing & received numerous compliments. His customer service is great via text/phone. Highly recommend!
