She also was suppose to provide certain color wrappers for all my cupcakes to make it look uniform which was also in my contract! I did not get that either! My cutting cake was not on the top of my tower & still on paperboard! No one hardly notice it down on the table! I paid in full in June 2015, my wedding was Sept 2015 she had plenty of time to make sure she had everything I ask for! I had no box to take home my cutting cake or any remainder cupcakes! I had to throw away my cutting cake & cupcakes.She had her husband set up for my wedding and he was asking the people setting up my hall how to set up! I was never told she sends her husband to set up! He just stacked the cupcakes any type of way! I had to put a deposit down for tower, when I returned the tower she wrote the check and dated it for days later! I literally cried looking back at photos of what my wedding cake/cupcakes looked like and looking at the photo of what it was supposed to look like. When talking with her, all she kept saying is I did what I thought looked better! How could she make that decision to change my choices for my wedding!? Do not trust this company for something as important as your wedding day!!

I am unsure if you follow the business on social media currently, but I like to think I've worked insanely hard to change the public's perspective. I am embarrassed to say I did not know of these reviews on The Knot, so have not reached out earlier. But if you will, I'd like to invite you into my business and hopefully change your negative experience into a positive. If you will, I'd like to offer you a free half-dozen cupcakes in your choice for pickup as early as next week; you'll just have to call and let us know you flavor choice. I am unsure of your current location, but the offer will never expire.

I pride myself in customer service, and definitely do not want this image to follow me. I would love to get to know you and turn your experience of 7 Little Cupcakes into a positive one! wedding to confirm that my "fake cake" would be ready for pickup on Thursday because we were having an out of town wedding and leaving Thursday...Thursday comes and the cake is not ready. I have a guest pick up my cake on Friday and when I open the box the cake is nothing what I ordered. My wedding colors were black and red, she puts a pink ribbon on it? The cake layers are totally disproportionate and it honestly looked like she threw the cake together in 30 minutes. I literally cried when I opened the box. As a bride I had enough to worry about. So I took it upon myself to have someone put a red ribbon on the cake and when I returned the cake to 7 little cupcakes I was told the cake was ruined and would not be getting my deposit back. ppy with the “tasting” for flavors and the quality of the cupcakes due to the fact many places had grainy textures or dry cupcakes. However, we could not have been more frustrated, disappointed, and downright angry about the service we received and the treatment from the owner of 7 Little Cupcakes. The last thing you need on your wedding day is to wonder if all of your guests are actually able to eat dessert and spend time counting the number of cupcakes that were delivered, let alone spend over 3 months after your wedding trying to understand why you paid two cakes and 15 dozen cupcakes when only one cake (decorated with a piece of ribbon v. iced as requested) and a portion of the cucpakes which were ordered which all seemed a few days old. Please, do yourself a favor and move onto the next baker. The stress, lack of quality, and lack of professionalism that will show up on your wedding day is not worth it for 7 Little Cupcakes. I was so incredibly embarrassed to be counting cupcakes when I first arrived at our reception after seeing that the wrong flavors, wrong quantity and a whole cake was missing with not a message, phone call, or email from the owner. Enjoy your day – do NOT use 7 Little Cupcakes. There are other gluten free bakeries in town and many out of town bakers will ship cakes and cupcakes to accommodate out of town weddings. Good Luck – Don’t use this baker!

when it comes to getting in contact with them and getting them to actually decorate the cake the way that you ask. Don't get me wrong, they made me a beautiful cake, but it wasn't what I wanted.
We wanted lots of flowers with ribbons around the base of each tier. We got ribbons as we requested with only a single flower up each tier. We also wanted a buttercream cake because we HATE fondant and ended up with a fondant cake. Not going to complain too much as it was more expensive for the fondont and we didn't pay for it...but just make sure that you are in touch with them at all times and make them do a mock up of the cake or something...
I would say that the cake was the only downside to my wedding, and even then, I have to say, they still made it a very pretty cake.

Hi! I'm Erin, the owner of this adorable little bakery. I put my heart and soul into everything I create, and love to make lasting relationships with every couple I meet. I have spent many years dedicated to my craft, and feel my strong art background and years working for two of the top bakeries in the Toledo area has played a huge part in the successes I've had. I've always dreamed of owning a business, and I am so thankful to do what I love every day. I'm a firm believer in making each wedding cake as unique as my couples, and look forward to meeting you!
