nd for the ceremony/songs we selected for specific portions was decent (it did cut out outside a few times but not during the ceremony so that’s the most important part). But here’s the thing. We reached out and specifically asked how to change the order of songs on the Vibo app- clearly because we wanted the songs played in that order. And that didn’t happen. We also said no to the question about line dances but cotton eye Joe was played. For the record, we specifically chose 860 Events because of the ability to plan out playlists on the app. We spent hours timing and laying out songs in a specific order, some at the request of our guests, and we made a note to “please play these songs in order as much as possible.” It was immediately out of order. I know that as a professional DJ maybe he knows better than we do about what gets a party going but it’s not like we were trying to open the dance floor with a Gregorian chant. There were about 6 songs we did not pick that were played. There were also about 6 songs on our playlist that were not played. And after our bridesmaid asked that he stick to the playlist he mostly did- But then my brother went to make a request and he was told we were “Draconian.” Like dude this can’t be the first time you weren’t taking requests, you just say “I’m sorry the bride and groom asked that I stick to their playlist.” On the flip side he stuck so hard to our “dinner” playlist that some songs were played twice for time (and even then there were still a couple songs he didn’t play on our dinner list which would have filled time). Overall it would have been fine and I would have either not reviewed at all to not throw off the rating or given a good review IF he hadn’t referred to us as “draconian.” Wildly unprofessional and really not unreasonable for the people paying you thousands of dollars to want to hear the music they asked for.

why our wedding was the best night ever. During the event they made sure to keep my timeline and helped us keep the event on schedule. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. DJ JOLT is awesome!!!

ommunication and was always available when we had questions or concerns. But now for the important part... Josh and his crew facilitated a great party! Sound was great, lighting effects were great, and Josh's introductions made everything flow very smoothly throughout the night. They even got amps and mics up to the top of a ski mountain and rigged it for sound so all of our guests could hear our cellist and officiant clearly. The icing on the cake was the epic and memorable send off complete with flamethrowers! My husband and I had so much fun we joked that we'd get married again same time next year, and we'd definitely go with DJ Jolt again for that party!

h us. This portal helped us add or delete any music we didn’t like as we had specific genres we wanted played. Josh and team are extremely professional and we’re incredibly accommodating to all of our requests. We also included a photo booth in our package which was a HUGE hit. Overall, our guests did not leave the dance floor and even chanted ONE MORE SONG at the end of the night. Highly recommend!!

he hard work and time they put in to making our wedding flawless. From our first meeting, it was clear that they would be the perfect fit for one of the most important elements of our big day. We were happy to help them launch their online portal, ActiveCollab, which was an efficient and easy way to communicate and keep track of all the moving parts. Through each element and step of the process, their focus was always on perfection and bringing to fruition our vision for our wedding. When the day finally arrived, they seamlessly troubleshooted several issues including unpredictable weather, and some oversights by me (the bride) that made their jobs much more difficult. Even when I had a moment of stress in the middle of the reception, Julia helped calm me and refocus me to it being one of the best days of our lives. It's the little things that you remember and that certainly take the most time, and Josh and Julia are unendingly committed to each and every detail. We cannot recommend them more highly!

They even customized a truly unforgettable introduction for us into our reception, where they projected lyrics to our song onto a wall and encouraged everyone to sing along! The music kept people dancing all day, and the photobooth was a hit with every single guest. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being apart of our day, and helping to make it truly unforgettable!

ur venue and met us there on the night of the rehearsal to make sure everything was in place. We had specific wants for ceremony seating music order and cocktail hour music and they provided that perfectly. Not only that but they really tried to get to know my husband and I and Joshua gave the sweetest introduction for us. They played a great mix of music and seemed to know how to keep the party going. In addition they included lighting which added so much to our event. I would definitely recommend DJ Jolt for any event!
