Our guests cannot stop talking about how great the food and drinks were! Dorina and her staff made sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the event. better. She did not take anything for granted. She worked with our budget and tried to customize our package to make it work for us. She repeatedly let me know that if there was something specific I wanted, she could make it happen. It’s very hard to find people in this industry that care so much about your special day and make it seem like they don’t also have a bunch of other clients (which I know 100% she did). If she couldn’t answer my call for whatever reason, she would text me right away and answer any questions I would have. On the day of the wedding, her team made the groom and I feel like royalty. As soon as we finished the ceremony, they greeted us with a drink and a plate with our appetizers. All night, we had someone specifically assigned to us to make sure we were being taken of. Not only was the customer service great but more importantly the food was amazing. Everyone kept telling us how the food was so delicious and the guests can tell we had a say in our food as a lot of the appetizers incorporated our favorite bites. I highly recommend A Alexander, couldn’t have made a better choice!

We were paired with Sonia, the Catering Manager, who was SO responsive to communications before and during the wedding and made sure all our wedding visions came to life! We chose to go with a fun mojito entrance where our guests were greeted with classic mojitos as they arrived at the doors. Many of our guests stated that they were the BEST mojitos that they had every had! Days later we still had guests telling us how great the quality of the food was. From our perspective as bride and groom, I can honestly say we never went hungry or thirsty! The staff was professional, timely, efficient, and made sure that we were always taken care of and were able to enjoy the night. We honestly can't thank Sonia and A Alexander enough for all the hardwork, collaboration, and patience that they showed us on our special day. He was able to provide linens and many options for silverware/plates, and even found us 180 chairs 1 week before the wedding when our venue told us they would no longer be able to provide them. He honored a military discount and made us feel at ease about our same sex relationship and marriage. The staff were able to prepare and serve food in a timely fashion despite a challenging venue/kitchen, and all of our guests loved the food (they talked about it at brunch the next day). The company handled all security and paperwork with the venue, and there were no issues with these details. We would definitely use this company for future events, and would recommend to others as well.

GETS IT DONE! I had a very interesting list of requests for my wedding, and every single one was granted. Felix customized our wedding menu, his selection was delicious and beautiful. Every single guest commented on how great the food was. Sonia and her team on the day of were so attentive, so helpful and so professional. The waitresses were amazing and set aside food for me to eat before the ceremony and made sure I was hydrated and happy at all times. The bartenders were incredible!! She made me a signature drink and always served me the same kind of alcohol. She was amazing!! The process was smooth, and flawless. Truly a wonderful experience!! We also rented all the chairs for the entire event, plate-ware, tables, drapery, and bartenders. The servers were kind and friendly to our guests and the bartenders were very knowledgeable and friendly as well. I will recommend A Alexander Event Catering to all my friends and family. ct was pretty bad... it wasn’t mentioned until 2 weeks before that our catering package only included 4 hours of service time including the cocktail hour. Our wedding start time of 4:30 ( which is pretty typical) had already been communicated to all of our guests. This time constraint would put our wedding ending at 9 pm assuming cocktail hour would begin at 5 pm, which i think most couples could agree that a 9pm end time for a day you’ve been planning for a year is unacceptable. It wasn’t so much of an issue that there were these time constraints it’s just that it was communicated SO late in the game that we weren’t in a position to dedicate even MORE funds to catering, it just wasn’t something we’d budgeted for. Not to mention we were quoted one price for the additional time and then he (Felix one of the owners) came back and gave us a price double that... he had misquoted us but wasn’t willing to honor it after that. The whole situation left our hands pretty much tied. I’d all but begged to finalize things much sooner than two weeks prior but was reassured by my wedding planner and Alexander Events that it wasn’t necessary. In the end we ended up having to push our wedding start time back by about 45 mins which was less than ideal as it confused a lot of guests and as a result we had people just standing around our wedding venue “waiting” for things to start. Fortunately at the end of the night they stalled breakdown a bit so that the reception could go a little longer and we were thankful for that. Last thing, I’d mention is the “included wedding cake” by Party Cakes by Shawn - do yourself a favor and just go elsewhere, we were never able to get in touch with her after trying multiple times. The caterer credited us an amount that was not nearly enough to actually purchase an alternate wedding cake so there’s that. Hope this helps!

When I submitted my inquiry online, Felix called me within an hour to hear what it was I was looking for, he took this information and created a PERFECT menu the first time! The only thing we ended up swapping out (at Felix’s recommendation) was the type of salad, simply due to the timeline I was trying to stay within. His experience with my venue was invaluable in determining the best setup (plated vs buffet). All of the staff the day of the wedding was extremely professional and friendly! They made me and my husband a plate of hors d’oeuvres when they noticed we weren’t getting to grab much and boxed up the rest of our dinners when we were only able to eat about half. (They were a delicious late night snack!!) They also made sure we were able to get drink refills when we weren’t able to make it up to the bar. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Alexander Events to anyone looking to have an event catered.

Felix is a straight shooter and doesn't have fancy contracts - which we were totally OK with. He dealt with my numerous dietary restrictions for myself and my guests (I am gluten intolerant). He also delivered the best wedding food we had ever had! We had several guests tell us the same. The portions were huge and nobody was neglected. Their staff was also great and made sure that myself and my groom were well fed and our drinks were always full. We had an amazing time and their staff was certainly part of the reason! Another big plus is Felix throws in your selection of charger plates which really added to our look :) Would highly recommend!
