It is known that wedding food can really be a hit or miss, but all of our guests were raving about all the options we had throughout the night and we have our catering team to thank for that! They really listened to every small detail we envisioned and made sure the quality of the food was top notch. Everything from the presentation to the service during the event was great and we're so happy we had this team and the best chef to make this a memorable event for everyone! They also helped arrange all of the rentals we needed as well as our wedding cake which made the process as seamless as possible. Thank you so much!

My husband and I were extremely delighted with the spectacular service that we were provided from Alexander Caterers. Our wedding was a destination wedding in Miami and we live in New York. My wedding guests list literally tripled in size two weeks before the date and Monica just handled everything in stride. We are so glad we booked Alexander catering for our January wedding! From the beginning they were extremely responsive and answered any and all questions we had. Initially we were working with Austin who was great to work with, later on in the process Dorina took over our event and was nothing but spectacular. She was extremely transparent. Our guests cannot stop talking about how great the food and drinks were! Dorina and her staff made sure my husband and I were taken care of throughout the event. They are an extremely reliable and professional company, and you will not regret booking them to cater your events!

Monica and her team were so great to work with. They were recommended by the venue and as soon as we met, she wanted to figure out how she can make our wedding planning experience better. She did not take anything for granted. She worked with our budget and tried to customize our package to make it work for us. She repeatedly let me know that if there was something specific I wanted, she could make it happen. It’s very hard to find people in this industry that care so much about your special day and make it seem like they don’t also have a bunch of other clients (which I know 100% she did). If she couldn’t answer my call for whatever reason, she would text me right away and answer any questions I would have. On the day of the wedding, her team made the groom and I feel like royalty. As soon as we finished the ceremony, they greeted us with a drink and a plate with our appetizers. All night, we had someone specifically assigned to us to make sure we were being taken of. Not only was the customer service great but more importantly the food was amazing. Everyone kept telling us how the food was so delicious and the guests can tell we had a say in our food as a lot of the appetizers incorporated our favorite bites. I highly recommend A Alexander, couldn’t have made a better choice!

A Alexander is the best! Everyone we worked with was a joy to work with. They offer a wide variety of options for wedding catering from the beginning of cocktail hour to late night. The tasting sessions were super helpful and they were attentive on any changes or questions we had. Wow just wow.... this catering company was everything! They were amazing from the very beginning and so easy to work with. They made it all happen, huge part of my wedding being so perfect. Not just food, but they took care of the rentals, the beverage, the cake... it was EVERYTHING. Did I mention the food was extraordinary.. it's not always that you have good wedding food. But it was just delicious, the details in decor of rentals... like I just have no words. Thank you Monica for accommodating and making a dream come true, they even accommodated two kosher meals for my guests. LITERALLY THE BEST EVER.

Alexander Event Catering were amazing! The provided the food, open bar, chairs, linen, and dinnerware for our wedding! One stop shop which was so helpful! Also, our wedding cake was included in the catering package. The food was amazing and our guests had so many compliments. I can not say enough good things about Dorina, she is amazing! She helped me plan this wedding in terms of catering and so patiently answered all my emails and questions whenever I needed. They are great, do not hesitate to book them! We are so happy with how our wedding turned out with their help :)

We are so thrilled we chose this company. The number one comment we got from guests was how good the food was (something you don't always hear at weddings!). My husband and I HIGHLY recommend hiring Alexander Event Catering for any event! We hired Alexander’s Event Catering for our wedding and we are so happy with our decision. Austin Blake is fantastic to work with and made the entire experience enjoyable! Which is very impressive because it is a pretty daunting task in my opinion. I was very nervous about choosing food everyone would like/enjoy, and then picking all the tableware. But Austin was there with us every step of the way and made everything so easy. The food was delicious and the presentation was impeccable! 5 stars!

We used Alexander Event Catering for our wedding on March 4th and we could not have chosen a better company. They were so very professional. The food is outstanding, but the service even more so! All of the staff were true professionals and very kind, helpful and knowledgeable to boot. If you are looking for a full service food and event caterer, look no more. Our wedding was catered by Alexander Catering this past weekend and we cannot say enough great things about them. From the get go Monica was a pleasure to work with. Alexander Events, with Austin Blake as our account manager, catered our two weddings and WOW were they great! Our first wedding was a formal multi-course sit down dinner for 55 people, while the second was a more casual cocktail style event with food stations for 225 people. Alexander Events offered a multitude of options within our budget and made us feel that nearly anything was possible. They were absolutely spot-on for both events. Their food is absolutely delicious, and their presentation deserves special recognition. Working with Austin was a true pleasure from our very first call, to contract negotiations, tastings, and all the way through the events themselves. I am so happy that we chose Alexander Events as our caterer!

A Alexander Event Catering put together an excellent evening for our wedding. Our cocktail hour had begun only for mere minutes before guests were telling me how wonderful the drinks and hors d'Oeuvres were! The dinner options were plentiful, and everyone loved the dishes they had selected for their meals. During the stressful process of wedding planning, Austin was attentive, friendly, and professional. Felix and his team at A Alexander are absolutely incredible!! We hired them as our caterer for a wedding at Vizcaya in September and I can't describe what a pleasure it was working with Felix to plan our food. Not only is the food from cocktail hour to dessert delicious (our guests are still talking about the food we had!), but Felix is so helpful in all aspects. He went above and beyond to help us get a dance floor and cooling fans to help with the Miami heat. The team at A Alexander will truly help you realize your culinary visions for your event and I cannot recommend them enough. They are the BEST!!!!!

Our daughter Wedding was catered by Alexander events, I’ve worked with Monica from the very beginning. We were planning the wedding from New Jersey and my daughter wanted to have Florida wedding. Monica made the process very easy she explained a lot of the details which made the everything go as planned, she always called me back the minute I had any questions. We hired A Alexander Catering for our wedding reception this past December. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was definitely a challenge but A Alexander really went out of their way to work with us all the way up until the end to ensure we felt comfortable and happy with the packages, services, food, and set-up. We were paired with Sonia, the Catering Manager, who was SO responsive to communications before and during the wedding and made sure all our wedding visions came to life! We chose to go with a fun mojito entrance where our guests were greeted with classic mojitos as they arrived at the doors. Many of our guests stated that they were the BEST mojitos that they had every had! Days later we still had guests telling us how great the quality of the food was. From our perspective as bride and groom, I can honestly say we never went hungry or thirsty! The staff was professional, timely, efficient, and made sure that we were always taken care of and were able to enjoy the night. We honestly can't thank Sonia and A Alexander enough for all the hardwork, collaboration, and patience that they showed us on our special day. I would highly recommend this vendor for any catering needs!

Felix, Sonia, and the whole A Alexander Event Catering Team exceeded all of our expectations! We wanted an entire vegan menu- from the cocktail hour, appetizer and main course. They prepared an entire vegan menu that was absolutely sensational! All of our guests were very pleased and surprised by how DELICIOUS the food was! The food was absolutely phenomenal! All of our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! When plans changed last minute due to covid restrictions they were able to accommodate us and exceed expectations. The service was fantastic, they always made sure my husband and myself were comfortable and able to taste all of the food and drinks available.

Delicious food and top notch service! I’m so thankful I had Alexander Event Catering for my wedding. I received a free wedding from Wish Upon a Wedding (an organization that grants weddings to couples facing terminal illnesses), and Alexander Catering immediately jumped on board and donated their services to my wedding. Even during a pandemic where many businesses are struggling, they donated their services to make my dream wedding possible. They have an enormous heart and they truly care about each customer and take pride in what they do.

Kevin and I were to get married back in April and due to covid not only we postponed our wedding date to July but in those 3 months our wedding plans changed 3 times. I didn’t know about Felix and his team until 10 days before our day when we had to transfer everything to a small home wedding. I found him thanks to my wedding coordinator Joni. We feel so lucky to have found them!!! Alexander Catering and the entire team from putting tents, tables, lights up to the bar and dinner menus and their serving staff were just unbelievable!!! You guys are top of the top ! Considering you took us in and helped us set everything to our home in no time! ♥️ Everything was so elegant, so perfect! The food and appetizers were delicious! Everyone complimented how well done things were! Thank you so much for all and everything! You helped us make our day perfect !

Alexander and his team were extremely professional. We were planning a wedding from afar, and he was easily available by phone, and flexible with our in person meetings on dates that worked for us. The food options were extensive and delicious. He was able to provide linens and many options for silverware/plates, and even found us 180 chairs 1 week before the wedding when our venue told us they would no longer be able to provide them. He honored a military discount and made us feel at ease about our same sex relationship and marriage. The staff were able to prepare and serve food in a timely fashion despite a challenging venue/kitchen, and all of our guests loved the food (they talked about it at brunch the next day). The company handled all security and paperwork with the venue, and there were no issues with these details. We would definitely use this company for future events, and would recommend to others as well.

After booking the Ancient Spanish Monastery and seeing their approved vendors list, I immediately asked the venue manager (whose daughter had just gotten married there) what catering company they used. I knew this would be the best choice and did not do any further research. We had a great experience, which included completely custom designed menus for cocktail hour, dinner, & dessert, in addition to multiple tastings. We didn’t want typical, boring wedding food and wanted to incorporate our favorite foods as a couple. This turned out amazing and was such a fun & unique touch. Sonia was amazing and extremely patient with my seemingly never ending questions/revisions. All my guests raved about the entire food (& drink!) experience. We also used their sister company, Different Looks Rentals, for our tablescape and that was equally amazing and beautiful.

Felix and his team were THE BEST for our wedding at the Cruz Building! He was super easy to work with leading up to the event and always great with communication. All of the food at our wedding was absolutely delicious, all of the staff were super friendly and the tableware was gorgeous. All of our guests raved about the food, drinks and espresso bar! The best in the game! If there were 10 stars, I would give them 20!! Consider anything you need DONE. Felix has an awesome "get it done" attitude, and the best part.. HE ACTUALLY GETS IT DONE! I had a very interesting list of requests for my wedding, and every single one was granted. Felix customized our wedding menu, his selection was delicious and beautiful. Every single guest commented on how great the food was. Sonia and her team on the day of were so attentive, so helpful and so professional. The waitresses were amazing and set aside food for me to eat before the ceremony and made sure I was hydrated and happy at all times. The bartenders were incredible!! She made me a signature drink and always served me the same kind of alcohol. She was amazing!! The process was smooth, and flawless. Truly a wonderful experience!! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!

Felix and his team provided us with 5 star service from beginning to end. Everything was perfect from our first initial consultation to the amazing feast we were served on our wedding night. We had Felix and his team provide cocktail hour with passed hor d'oeuvres, and a seated duet of snapper and filet. Everything was perfect from presentation to taste. We also rented all the chairs for the entire event, plate-ware, tables, drapery, and bartenders. The servers were kind and friendly to our guests and the bartenders were very knowledgeable and friendly as well. I will recommend A Alexander Event Catering to all my friends and family. We used Alexander Events for our wedding in April, for the most part our experience was good, the food was good and the presentation was really nice. However, finalizing the contract was pretty bad... it wasn’t mentioned until 2 weeks before that our catering package only included 4 hours of service time including the cocktail hour. Our wedding start time of 4:30 ( which is pretty typical) had already been communicated to all of our guests. This time constraint would put our wedding ending at 9 pm assuming cocktail hour would begin at 5 pm, which i think most couples could agree that a 9pm end time for a day you’ve been planning for a year is unacceptable. It wasn’t so much of an issue that there were these time constraints it’s just that it was communicated SO late in the game that we weren’t in a position to dedicate even MORE funds to catering, it just wasn’t something we’d budgeted for. Not to mention we were quoted one price for the additional time and then he (Felix one of the owners) came back and gave us a price double that... he had misquoted us but wasn’t willing to honor it after that. The whole situation left our hands pretty much tied. I’d all but begged to finalize things much sooner than two weeks prior but was reassured by my wedding planner and Alexander Events that it wasn’t necessary. In the end we ended up having to push our wedding start time back by about 45 mins which was less than ideal as it confused a lot of guests and as a result we had people just standing around our wedding venue “waiting” for things to start. Fortunately at the end of the night they stalled breakdown a bit so that the reception could go a little longer and we were thankful for that. Last thing, I’d mention is the “included wedding cake” by Party Cakes by Shawn - do yourself a favor and just go elsewhere, we were never able to get in touch with her after trying multiple times. The caterer credited us an amount that was not nearly enough to actually purchase an alternate wedding cake so there’s that. Hope this helps!

I could not be happier with my experience with Alexander Events for my wedding. We had welcome drink mojitos that were not only beautiful, but also delicious, I received numerous complements on the hors d’oeuvres, and the dinners were absolutely amazing! When I submitted my inquiry online, Felix called me within an hour to hear what it was I was looking for, he took this information and created a PERFECT menu the first time! The only thing we ended up swapping out (at Felix’s recommendation) was the type of salad, simply due to the timeline I was trying to stay within. His experience with my venue was invaluable in determining the best setup (plated vs buffet). All of the staff the day of the wedding was extremely professional and friendly! They made me and my husband a plate of hors d’oeuvres when they noticed we weren’t getting to grab much and boxed up the rest of our dinners when we were only able to eat about half. (They were a delicious late night snack!!) They also made sure we were able to get drink refills when we weren’t able to make it up to the bar. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Alexander Events to anyone looking to have an event catered.

I cannot say enough AMAZING words about Alexander Event Catering, Felix, and his entire team for our wedding. From picking out the menu, to our tasting, to the night of the event everything was absolutely flawless. Working in the industry, I particularly had very high expectations from our caterer, and everything went perfectly. I cannot wait to use them again very very soon. The staff on the night of the event, the servers, chefs and bartenders were beyond accommodating and in my mind treated all of my guests as VIPs. Catering and rentals are probably the largest part of your wedding, apart from the venue setting. We were so happy to find Felix and team. Our guests were so impressed by the food, our table settings were beautiful, and most importantly - we were fed! Felix's team included a server that was dedicated to us. She stayed close by while we took pictures and greeted our guests during dinner, making sure we always had a bite nearby. The food quality impressed even our pickiest eaters. Alexander event is truly amazing! You won't find food or service at the price they offer.

Felix and his team did an EXTRAORDINARY job on our wedding day- everything was amazing! Since Day 1, Felix has always been professional, provided us with guidance and feedback. We are quite particular, but Felix tailored the menu to our liking and included little details to make the menu our own. Any question we had, Felix responded to promptly. We had 6 options of caterers with our wedding at the Cruz Building. We talked to all of them and received quotes from all of them. We felt that Felix and his team were the most straight-forward and willing to work with us. We were able to get what we wanted with little compromise within our budget. Felix is a straight shooter and doesn't have fancy contracts - which we were totally OK with. He dealt with my numerous dietary restrictions for myself and my guests (I am gluten intolerant). He also delivered the best wedding food we had ever had! We had several guests tell us the same. The portions were huge and nobody was neglected. Their staff was also great and made sure that myself and my groom were well fed and our drinks were always full. We had an amazing time and their staff was certainly part of the reason! Another big plus is Felix throws in your selection of charger plates which really added to our look :) Would highly recommend!

We recently had our 20th wedding vow renewal at The Cruz Building. It was magical and all in part due to the magnificent service we received from Felix and his staff. Servers and bartenders were incredible, very attentive. Food was amazing and our guest are still talking about our event. Felix over excelled beyond our expectations. Felix from A. Alexander is AMAZING. He came recommended from my venue, and I couldn't be more grateful for everything he did for my husband and me. He was so much more than a caterer, he was basically a wedding planner. He helped me through every step of the way. He had great suggestions but was never pushy. His entire staff was very professional and personable and soo accommodating! I haven't even mentioned the food yet... TO DIE FOR. My guests have been raving about all the food. He created an event that was more than we could have ever imagined.

Felix and the team at Alexander Event Catering were nothing but Amazing! Felix was a pleasure to work with, very accommodating and quick to respond to text or emails. The first thing that drew us to Felix of Alexander Event were the rave reviews of the vegetarian friendly cuisine (which I can now confirm were true). What won us over was the amazing tasting that he put on, which allowed us to try so many delicious options. We hired Felix for our wedding and could not have been happier from the moment we meet him. He is a stand up guy with a great sense of humor and great sense of people! He got what we wanted and he delivered. We had just come back from Tuscany and wanted to impress our guests with a Tuscan Table. Felix put together a table that was edibly beautiful; it was stunning. We had a 5-course plated dinner party for our guests with the most amazing risotto, Parmesan basket salad, sorbet and for the main course choices we had King Crab Legs, Prime Rib that was cooked perfectly or a vegetarian eggplant rollatini. The staff was the best I have ever worked with. Our guests complimented the staff just as much as the food! No one wanted for a thing at any time. The attention to detail from start to finish was impeccable and I would hire Felix for all of my catering needs going forward. He made my most amazing day just that much more amazing! He works with quality ingredients and quality people.

We hired Alexander Event Catering for our wedding, which took place at the Spanish Monastery. We were highly impressed with every aspect of the event!! ! We chose a buffet option due to the layout of the venue, although we were initially hesitant to do so, and the food was beyond delicious! We were married just this past Sunday and cannot stop talking about it! We, like many others, saw A. Alexander Events in our venues preferred vendors list along with a few others. After much research on all of them, we decided to go with A. Alexander. No one had the amount of positive reviews and press as they did. Good food and alcohol were very important for us to have for our many out of town guests. That is exactly what we got. Everyone loved the duet played dinner, the table decor and the open bar. The mojito bar was an awesome and fun surprise for us as well as the guests. Working with Felix was a lot of fun and we liked him right away. He made everything super easy and at an extremely reasonable cost. Thanks to Felix and his amazingly professional and sweet staff, we were able to sit back and just enjoy every minute of our wedding. We had the best day of our lives and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

A Alexander Event is phenomenal! Felix went over every detail with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. On the day of out wedding the staff couldn't have been more professional and courteous. A lovely server came over to us with a smiling face while we were taking photos and followed us around with a tray of food. I was blown away! When it started raining, Nelson's teams quickly moved not only their own tables but also helped the grooms father move his musical equipment. The bartender even stood out in the rain serving drinks for a while until it started pouring hard then he eventually went indoors. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meals. Patrick even signed our wedding caricature with well wishes which we thought was classy! The entire staff worked well as a team and responded to every adversity with speed and competence. For the money we spent we received much more than we expected. I would absolutely use A Alexander Event again and will recommend to all my friends!

We did an extensive search to find the right caterer for our wedding. We found Felix to be very professional and explained how our day will be from beginning to end. The wedding was a tremendous success….The cocktail hour had shrimp that were bigger than i could have imagined. The sushi was the same grade as the local place my wife and I frequent . The filet mignon entree is still a conversation , it was perfect with this amazing mushroom sauce. I remember these plates that he was speaking of the would make the tables look great, after looking at our pictures, it truly made the look top notch. Then the staff was very nice and they had nice touches such as constantly refilling my drink of choice. The chef i think his name is Kevin came out after each course to see how we are doing. Kind of reminds me of events i attended back in NY. Thank you Felix, I will call you to do my companies holiday party next year.

A. Alexander Catering was recommended to me by the venue. After doing my research online, it looked like they have a good quality catering company. The food was delicious, my guests still talking about how good the food at my wedding was , from cocktail hour to buffet. But, the contract was not followed as discussed during the meetings and emails. I paid for kids food and the kids did not see any of it, they were eating only bread and I was told they would have kids meal. It did not happened and that money never came back to me either. I gave extra bottles of whiskey they should offer to my guests and they did not open the bottles, they told my guests that we didn't have it ( exactly not what I wanted my guests to hear from the bar) and we talked about this during meetings. The service, I paid for an extra server for my family and the service was not as expected. Not sure what happened to their service. They recommended me a day of coordinator that will not hire again if I have another event, she was more stressed out than me . They never responded to my email when I told them about this issues. I hope they handle their issues soon, they really have great food and did a great job setting up my tables, but there is an issue with service and following contracts.

I used Alexander Event Catering for my wedding. I spoke directly with Felix (the owner) the entire duration of my planning process. He provided my catering and rentals. I specifically wanted to make sure he would provide certain elements, because if not I would get them from other vendors. He was very reassuring and communicative, reasonably priced and I felt confident with his reviews that I signed the contract and hired him a year in advance. The week before my wedding I could barely get a hold of him, he would take days to respond. He said he would have my day of contact manager by Tuesday or Wednesday the week of my wedding. After many attempts I finally received a response with solely the name of the day of manager only, the night before my wedding. I also did not receive the contact number I asked for so I could discuss my medically necessary dietary restrictions with the manager before hand since the day of the wedding is a bit hectic and busy for a bride (as you will see) and the day of is not the time or place to do so. The day of the wedding came and an hour and a half before my ceremony started we showed up and found the entire ceremony had been set up on the rooftop terrace instead of down on the lake where my entire wedding was being held. My guests arrived and the caterers were still scrambling to reassemble everything downstairs, they even told the florist delivery men to set up upstairs as well and they also had to reassemble. My guests started to arrive and nothing was ready yet. During the wedding reception I realized there was no uplighting as promised (something I could've gotten from my DJ but was assured Felix would provide it). There was no custom monogram displayed that I spent a long time working on and was promised it would be displayed. I had heard horror stories of brides not having anything to cut their wedding cake with or being given a butter knife. I specifically brought this concern up to Felix and he said he would have a knife and cake server for me. When I went to cut my cake with my husband there was a large spatula there. The giant kind used to flip burgers on a grill!! I called the manager over and he brought me back a butter knife!! All in all the servers who worked at the wedding were ok. There were a few exceptional servers, our personal server for my husband and myself, and the bartender. Only half my guests were offered coffee with dessert and when my mother had to go find someone and ask for coffee they brought her a cup and then left without asking any of her guests at the rest of the table if they would like any. This was just extremely disappointing after a year of high expectations from good reviews and being recommended by my venue. They seem to have just gotten lazy and did not seem to care once they got their final payment from me. If you use this company I would be extremely cautious....
