But the real reason behind my five star review is DJ Mark (Mark Hardin). I am a bit type A and planned my own wedding, so I naturally wanted to get a call on Marks's calendar really early on. He humored me every step of the way and was the best hype man throughout the entire planning process. He was a yes man to all of my ideas (no matter how complicated), gave helpful feedback, and had a ton of suggestions tailored to my venue and the overall flow of the evening. We chatted a few times before the wedding, and I truly felt so confident knowing that he would be DJing the most important day of our lives. The entire night went so smoothly, and even when there were hiccups or schedule changes, Mark adapted flawlessly and no one was the wiser. He worked in all of my special song requests, cut every song/dance at the perfect time, and played an unforgettable mix of our friends' and family's favorite songs. He even worked in a few requests on a really tight timeline, and our entire party was so happy with how he made our night so memorable. Some highlights of our experience The planning: - We had a very well-organized intro to Big Ticket and a very well explained outline of the packages, costs, and experiences The Organization: - The App Mark gave us access to was so easy to use and great for making sure we had the right songs selected for each moment (processional, first dance, mother-son dance etc.) It was also so useful for sharing our favorite songs that we wanted to hear. - We had another call prior to our wedding to confirm the final items and Mark made sure to call out any items we might have missed The Experience: - We had fantastic microphone setups so that everyone could hear clearly (while outside) with minimally invasive mics. - Our ceremony and cocktail hour music was exactly what we wanted and set the mood perfectly - The Reception Music/Dance floor vibe is a HUGE thing to us, and our families and Mark absolutely delivered! Everyone was on the dance floor from the minute we opened (with Marks fantastic opener) until the very end. My mom and multiple family members remarked at how great our DJ was and all had so much fun. - Mark went above and beyond to make sure our celebration was the best. We appreciate the time and effort he put forth to help make our big day so great.

Even though there were a couple itinerary changes on the big day, Demetre rolled with it. Overall, they both did an amazing job and played such vital roles in making our wedding special and intimate. lls exceeded my expectations and my family's expectations as well. He is very professional, his music set-up is very sleek, modern and clean-looking and he was simply amazing to work with. Our event was "on the fly" which had some changes but he handled it all very naturally and calmly, not showing any stress whatsoever. It helped a lot that he was very familiar with the Sacramento venue and super efficient with taking care of his part of the party. He's very intuitive with keeping the party timeline running smoothly by sticking to the plan or will make sure to check with you on song approvals. My dad rarely makes comments especially about parties but he happily said "Everyone really enjoyed the party, dancing and even the DJ did a great job!" If that's a win in my dad's book, then we highly recommend hiring Mark for your memorable event!
